Predator and Prey (Night)

London had always been a strange place, when it came to alien activity. It had been especially active for quite a long time, and Alice had been born near the beginnings of it. She had survived the Atmos incident, Dalek invasions, etc etc. She did not think of herself as particularly tough, or even particularly street smart. She was book smart, alien-smart, and highly logical. That, she would admit.

However, a target was something she never expected to be for any reason. She didn't have a habit of making enemies, she didn't socialize enough for that. Alice wouldn't even know she was being targeted, settled at her favorite park. It was relatively close to home, and had a large open field with surprisingly soft grass and few insects.

The frail little human was settled on her side, using her thin arm for a pillow as she curled right up, reading something off of a screen tilted sideways. The brightness was just high enough so she could see, her green eyes skimming over the black words on the dull white screen. It was peaceful... quiet... If only London was always like this, then maybe people would be much happier.

Night opened her eyes, sweat beading at her brow. She held her stomach tightly, and she curled up into a ball in the grass. Her stomach mad an interesting noise, before stopping completely. Night grunted as an ant wandered on to her cheek. The grass tickled her leg, making her shiver. She hadn't eaten anything in forever. It was anger inducing. There weren't many people in the park right now. None of them looked- entertaining enough.

Night; having cat tendencies, enjoyed playing with her food. She scanned the park with her hazy eyes, looking for something to devour. The only thing there, was a frail little human; which right now, anything would be good. She looked rather dumb, to Night. She was so very; vulnerable. She shook her body, in hopes of getting more awake. She cracked her knuckles before gazing at the female, with a dangerous hunger in her eyes.

Night stood up from the grass, and walked up to the girl. "Oi." she said, shaking her shoulder. "Are you alive?" She was so very hungry- but she needed to see if her toy was worth her time.

She chuckled to herself, biting her lip.

Hearing someone walking up to her, Alice blinked, rolling over as the woman asked if she was alive. Sitting up and holding the small electronic device in her hands, she tilted her head, frowning a little. What did this woman want?

"Yes... what do you want?" she asked, seeming a little uneasy. She didn't trust this woman, that was clear. Of course, Alice rarely trusted anyone at first. This was partially because of her ASP, and also simply because she was a sheltered young woman who had not had very good experiences with other people.

Up close, it was clear Alice would not be a very filling meal, thin as she was. There was more bone than meat, and more lean, scrawny muscle than any sort of fat. She was also very easy prey, due to her apparent physical weakness.

"Nothing in particular. Just a bit of company." She said, chuckling to herself. Night gave out a depressed sigh. She couldn't eat her. She was too- wimpy and probably wouldn't taste very good. She ran her long fingers through her hair, and bit her lip. She was in quite the awkward position right now. "So... how are you today." She asked, lightly scratching her neck. "Like I actually car. I just want to start a shot conversations and more along." She thought to herself. Her fangs sharpening as she became a tad more angry.

Night's cold eyes gazed relentlessly into her soul, scanning her, taking her apart, limb by limb. Her long black hair was played with by the wind, like a toy, and Night crossed her arms, and resumed sitting in the grass, not taking her gaze off of her. Night's nails grew a bit, and she dug into the ground with her claws. "Hm?" She pressed her on. All she wanted to do was leave, but apparently that wasn't going to happen. If she had to stay any longer, she'd become her snack.

Alice edged back a few inches, her hands starting to tremble slightly as she gripped her device tighter, tensing to stand. This woman's nails just grew right before her eyes, and something was very, very off about her. She didn't like this one bit.

"I-I'm fine... you?" she answered, the pitch of her voice rising a little in fear. If Night was capable of sensing psychic energy, there was a large amount coming from this human. She almost oozed it, which should be impossible. Humans were a psi-null species, and being psi-sensitive was the closest they could get to being actually psychic.

However, Alice wasn't thinking about Pisca's psychic abilities. She was thinking about how to get away quickly, and Pisca was thinking about whether he should just use a knock-back technique or actually try to break one of Night's bones, if she actually did attack Alice.

Night sniffed the air, and sighed. Fear. She could smell it. It made her hungrier. But still, she wouldn't be enough. Compared to others she's attacked, she's a toy. Night Put her hands behind her head, her fangs growing. "You don't seem like much of a threat anyways, you simple minded idiot." She said, before collapsing on to the bench that of which she was sitting on. Her fangs grew a bit more than intended, and her eyes dilated from round orbs to slits. "You wouldn't even make a good meal."

"I've definitely been better." She answered, rolling her eyes. She sighed once again, looking up at the sky, and gave a wide yawn. She curled up into a ball on the bench, and fell asleep within minutes. In a result of curling up in a ball, she took up more space on the bench. Fall asleep always calmed her down, that's exactly what she needed. Her stomach rumbled as she slept, her ears twitching once and a while.
