Finally there had been a case after weeks of silence. Ok, the head of the victim might have been pulled off in a gruesome way, but it had been a case, she had solved it and was now free to go. Things couldn't last forever could they?
Sylvia sighed as she walked through the streets of London, just on her way home. Looking at her watch had told her it was 9pm, which meant Arthur was probably at the party already. She could have gone with him but, to be honest, she didn't like parties that much. And with the fact she still had a book waiting for her at home, well, she had other plans.
Arthur hadn't minded, but he at least wanted to say hi to an old friend.
She bumped into someone.
Sylvia blinked, looking at the woman she hadn't seen coming at all, had she been lost in thought that much?
"I'm sorry, I didn't see you coming."
