Simple and slow. That's how everyday was. The bells would ring, the teachers would speak, the bell would ring again. Mrs. Rogers would tell a few jokes, someone in the crowd would laugh. And when someone didn't, they'd get called out on it.

"Mr. Ellison," the sharp, almost squeaky, voice of Mrs. Rogers cut through Ryder's daze. He lifted his head, his hair falling over one eye as he looked her over. Frizzy blonde hair, glasses shoved up as far as they could possibly go, and the baggiest clothes in history. Clearing her throat, Mrs. Rogers slipped her hands together in a knot, raising her thin eyebrows. "I see you're drawing again." Ryder glanced down at the paper soundlessly. It was crumpled, or had been, due to the creases still visible. "No, not drawing. Staring at old drawings." He pointed to a shark, "see. I haven't drawn a shark since that stupid nickname." He muttered, pushing the sleeves of his dark grey shirt down nervously. He hated the last few days of the month, which is exactly what this was. The last few days of November. Mrs. Rogers's mouthed curled up in an annoyed smirk, bending down so she was at eye level with Ryder. She couldn't look into his eyes, no, no one did. No one could. So, being in the calmest state she could muster up, she looked at his nose. "What nickname would that be, Mr. Ellison? 'Sharkboy'?" Ryder grinded his teeth together, his mouth opening as if prepared for another pointless comeback. A comeback to his teacher. Boy, that's ridiculous.

The windows smashed. Glass flew around the room as if it had a mind of it's own. Mrs. Rogers was gone in a flash, rushing back to the front of the class to regain some form of order. There would be none. Slipping from his seat, Ryder grabbed the water bottle at the edge of his desk, running towards the door at top speed. He wasn't looking to leave everyone undefended, there just wasn't enough space to keep away from-

From the green thing in the window. Pressing his back against the wall, Ryder squeezed his eyes shut. This couldn't be happening again, not at school. Not during his senior year. Not now. "Everyone under the desks! Sharkboy!" It was Mrs. Rogers's voice. Even during this hectic situation, someone was finding a way to get on his nerves. Great. More voices joined in, starting a chorus of nicknames and screams. How highschoolers can manage that was beyond Ryder. The door was open now beside him, the principle waltzing through as if he had some great news to inform the class with. Ryder gulped, slipping passed him and into the hall. The screaming grew louder behind him, and it wasn't until seconds later he realized why. The creature had rushed through the classroom, toppling over chairs and students to chase after him.

The water bottle. Use the water bottle. It was a struggle, his attention drifting constantly back to the monster at his heels, but the cap was off and flying to the ground a minute later. The hall was ending, there was no point in continuing further. Ryder kicked out the heels of his black converse high tops, digging them into the floor as they squeaked. No longer was he running, nor trying to hide. He turned around, glancing at the creature with a raised eyebrow. It looked more like a bad graphic, with it's dripping, big nose and drooling, wide mouth. It was larger at where the hips would go, though it's uncertain if it even had bones. It curved down, thick arms hanging limply at it's sides. Positioning the water bottle in front of him, Ryder held it like a warrior would hold a sword. And maybe it was, in some ways. He knew where this thing came from, he knew what it could do. All Ryder wanted was to sit down, stare at a table and slip into the background. The monster took a step forward, and for a moment, it sounded as if it were muttering a name. A promise towards someone or something. "For... Rassilon." It hissed and the words were hardly audible.

Ryder clenched the bottle, leaving marks from his fingers as the water sprang out. It surrounded the creature, turning to ice directly on touch. He couldn't tell if another word had been said, or if another chant took place, because he tightened his fingers on the bottle and the ice shattered. No more monster, no more sudden threats. The water had turned it to ice, the water had killed it. If only this were a dream. Running a hand over his forehead, he sucked in a sharp breath, moving like a robot to the exit on the other side of the hall. Ryder pulled the door open, dropping the bottle in the entrance as he stepped out into the bright light of daytime. It seemed dimmer, less alive inside. Adrenaline pumped through his veins, his eyes wide and his brown hair in a mess. He didn't think about that, his appearance wasn't important. Though the people wandering around the town and passing the school sure thought so. He ran his hands through his hair, watching the people as he slowly calmed his nerves. The yells from inside proceeded, catching a few people's attention, though sounded faint in Ryder's ears.

Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap! Late for work and now on the run. What else could possibly happen today? God, if you even exist, why do you hate me? Mal's dramatic thoughts distracted her from the surrounding events of the streets of London as she fled as fast as her legs would take her. She was dressed in her work uniform but was running in the wrong direction to be headed to the café. Her boss would probably give her another lecture on tardiness and the lack of attendance Mal had been preforming for the past month or so. It was hardly her fault though she wouldn't be able to use that excuse with Mr. Grumpyface. To her, saying something like 'sorry, sir, I've been abducted by aliens a few times' would just get her fired right then and there. The statement was true but if she knew one thing about the human race it was that they refused to believe in abnormal things such as extra terrestrial life. Or the fact a little girl has wings...

As Mal was looking over her shoulder to see if she was still in pursuit from a rather massive, angry man, she completely ran into Ryder who was just standing outside of his school. The collide had caused the two of them to topple to the ground, Mal landing on top of him. The shock prevented Mal from moving for a moment though she did manage to look down at the boy's face. Almost instantly she started to blush and scrambled to stand up. That proved challenging since as soon as she was off of Ryder, she fell on her rear. 'Bad luck Mal' was staring at the boy with wide eyes, she probably looked dishevelled and panicked (not that that was unusual).

"U-uh, I-uh- I-I'm sorry. So sorry about that." Mal rushed out and cleared her throat though the action was unnecessary. "Should watch where I'm going, yeah. Kinda have a problem with that. I-it's just that-" She stopped right there and simply bit her bottom lip as she sprang back to her feet and looked behind her once more. Well the brute wasn't in sight, that was one good sign of the day. In her relief she reached an arm off to wipe the perspiration that had gathered off her brow.

Robin giggled as she hid behind a brick wall, finding it funny that an entire group of Time Agents in training couldn't catch her. It wasn't her fault she accidentally landed right in the middle of their mission, it's not like her own manipulator was going to listen to her. Looking from left to right, she decided it was safe to move out from her hiding spot and look around. This was not the correct assumption, because as soon as she was in sight, she heard a loud voice boom, "GET HER!" and felt the collision of some machine and the back of her head.

In a flash of light, she was on the roof of some school building, yelping in pain. Oh well, wasn't the first vortex manipulator to be thrown at her head. This was the first one to transport her, though. After a moment, she realized she was slipping on the smooth tiles, about to fall down to the ground below. "Woah!" she scrambled to get her hands and feet in a position where it would at least slow the slip. Looking around, she tried to get an idea of where she was, seeing nothing to helpful or interesting. Just a random moldy banana - however that got there... "Anyone down there?" Robin yelled, hoping for no answer so she could just put in the coordinates for the ground instead of falling there.

Ryder sucked in a sharp breath of air, Mal's entrance knocking him out of his daze. He stayed on the ground, knocking his head against the sidewalk as his eyes followed her. "It's fine, really." He replied once she was done with her short ramble. Honestly, it was weird to have someone have a sort of normal greeting. It was better than what he usually got. Slowly, he got his feet, brushing off his shirt as he looked over at her. "You don't need to explain why you were running. Or why you ran into me. Seriously, it's-" He broke off at the sound of someone's voice. Someone's voice from above his head. Lifting his eyes, he studied the roof, seeing nothing, but knowing he heard something. He shook the confusion from his face, though a small frown traced his lips. He hardly spoke too, that was another issue that made this awkward with Mal. Talking was rare and so was interactions besides the occasional detention and getting yelled out by the teacher. Hardly anyone would even meet his eyes, though maybe their bright blue and sharp green around the iris was to blame. Whatever.

Glancing back at Mal for only a brief moment, Ryder was nearly stunned by the continuous screams from inside the school. Mrs. Rogers voice stuck out the most. "I think I've made a mess," he whispered gently to himself, remembering the shards of ice he had left to melt on the floor.

(Classic Sonya Entrance coming up)

A sudden grinding noise echoed around the school, the TARDIS materializing in the front lawn causing quite a commotion for the students that happened to glance over. Reaching the doors, she went to fling them open and start to give Robin the lecture of a lifetime- Why won't this door open! She pushed on it again with a perplexed expression before backing up to the console and pulling the screen over to where she could see it. Typing in a command, she eyed the image that appeared. "oh... Right, park with the doors facing away from the building. That might help, Sonya." Letting out a grumble, she fiddled with the controls and rematerialized with the doors facing outwards this time.

Shoving the doors again, she grinned brightly when they opened wide this time so she could step out. "Oh, Mal, your here too?" Her eyes locking onto the familiar girl standing only a few feet away from her. "And, you have a boyfriend now. About time I have to say, a nice girl like you ought to have someone to... I don't know what humans do, human things, like... Snogging in public and... Buying flowers or pointless gifts that will be broken, lost or forgotten within a week, yeah?" She said brightly, striding over to the two of them once she shut and locked the TARDIS doors behind her. "Any of you happen to see Robin, little girl? You know her, Mal."

Mal stared at Ryder and could feel herself start to fidget. Well if this wasn't an awkward way to meet someone she didn't know what was. Her anxious behaviour almost got the better of her but the words on her tongue never made it out of her mouth when she heard Robin's voice. What the..? How was she on the roof.. or was why a better question? Then there was screaming in the school that triggered the familiar shards of fear into her heart. Her breathing picked up and she was so close to fleeing the scene until she heard the familiar grind of the TARDIS. Oh, great, so the Doctor was here to clean up whatever mess there was here, right?

Wrong. It was Sonya's shining face that stepped out of the big blue box. Better than no one, right? At least she was a Time Lord of some sort. The sudden happy, relieved feeling Mal had upon seeing Sonya was quickly dropped and forgotten, replaced with a beat red face and a shaking figure of embarrassment. "Wh-wha- wait! N-no, no, no, no. H-he's not my... I don't even... that isn't... snogging in public? I-I just met the guy for bloody sakes! " Mal covered her face to hide the look of horror that found it's way there. Well this was a horrible situation. Mal's throat closed up with her heavy feelings which prevented her from being able to answer Sonya. So she simply didn't. Served the traveller right for putting her in an awkward situation like this!

Robin rolled her eyes at the sound of the TARDIS. As soon as she heard Sonya walk out, she groaned with annoyance and tried to get into a sitting position on the edge of the rooftop. "Oi, I don't need your help with everything you know!" She shouted down at her, crossing her arms over her chest. Sighing, she called out again. "Can I have some help down from here or do I have to try the manipulator again. I don't feel like ending up on some random planet." Listening to the screaming from inside, she smirked. Maybe there was something going on, finally. Then again, she wasn't sure where she was, so it might have just been normal. Hopefully not.

Glancing at the new arrival, Ryder's frown became more serious than before. Boyfriend? He didn't even get the girl's name. Shrugging it off, he slipped around them both, staring at the TARDIS as he went by, but not stopping to question it. By this point, he wasn't about to question anything. The doors to the school were still open, a small water drinking fountain perched near it. He cupped his hands around the faucet, pushing his elbow against the button as water poured out into his hands. Scratches he didn't realized he even had faded away as the water touched it, seeping into his skin at some parts. The rest of the liquid slowly began to float away from his hands, molding itself into a bubble. It wasn't exactly the best weapon, but it was something to use just in case he forgot a monster in the school. Those screams couldn't just be for the ice mess. He's done it before and all he gained was a few detentions after school. Slowly, Ryder looked back at the two outside, then faced the fountain again as the yelling picked up. "Sharkboy!" It was a male's voice, which on instinct, Ryder ignored. "Sharkboy!" Another voice and Ryder turned to address it. Massie, his younger sister by four years, stood between two seniors. She yelled his name, but he hardly heard it, leaning against a locker on his shoulder, the water bubble floating soundlessly beside his head. Massie was looking past her brother, though. Into the streets where another monster was slowly, but surely, creating itself.

Clapping a hand on Mal's shoulder, she cast a slightly annoyed look up at where Robin sat. "You just said you didn't need my help, find your own way down. Your a smart kid." Smirking slightly, she saluted the young girl and strode into the school without a second thought, intent on finding the source of the screaming before spotting the boy once more. "Water? What next, fire and earth controllers. Yeesh." She mumbled, momentarily flashing back to when she met Jason, a kid that could use the wind to fly without anything else attached. "Oi, you, kid." She called out, brushing past the others standing in front of him and stopping directly in their line of sight. "Care to explain the bio-monsters?" A hand lifted up, waving idly over where the thing was slowly building itself up into a respectable form.

Mal gaped at Sonya and looked up at Robin, thinking she could just use her little secret to get down. She'd be damned to suggest such a thing to the younger girl though. She turned just in time to see Sonya enter the school. With a look over her shoulder as if to decide if she should follow or not, the sight of the monster generating itself caused Mal to yelp and scamper after the Time Lady. Of course she would be caught up in another chaotic alien episode. Honestly, Mal should apply for a reality show, think of the big bucks she would make thanks to her insane life. With a loud snort at, she scowled at no one in particular. Yeah, right, like that would go over well. She would just be an outcast to the human race and would gain the attention of Torchwood. Torchwood being the place she'd been avoiding all this bloody time.

"OK, scary Nice Screwdriver you have there monster creating itself. What next? Oh, fantastic, a fountain. Maybe we could drown it to death." Mal snapped, always the face of optimism in a sunshine and rainbows situation such as this. What she failed to notice was the fact Ryder was moving the water to his will. Well, you'd miss it too if you were a freak in denial of all the things that had come flying down in front of yours eyes as proof that the world, was in fact, not normal, not even to a degree.

Robin scowled at the Timelady as she and Mal entered the building after the other guy. Well this was great. She yelped, slipping a bit to have her legs dangle off the edge of the roof. With a sigh, she tapped some coordinates into her manipulator, only a few numbers off from the ones it showed her now. With a flash of light, Robin disappeared and reappeared a few seconds later, 3 feet in the air. Grunting as she hit the ground, she muttered a curse. "One of these days, I'll get this thing right." She frowned, standing up and chasing after the other two. "Alright, what'd I miss?"

Ryder glanced around Sonya at his sister briefly before looking back at her. He hated explaining things, even if they seemed to be the main problem at the time. And explaining why there were monsters forming in the park across the street would be hard without spilling it all. Ryder extended his hand to the side directly as the water bubble turned to ice and fell. He caught it lightly, holding it out to his sister, who grinned. Massie pulled it into her hands, walking to stand beside her brother. "Ryder doesn't talk much. When he does, it's rare. Those monsters are from a man named... Named... What was his name again, Ry?" Massie nudged her brother with her elbow to get his attention. "Rassilon," he mumbled in reply before looking over his shoulder. Massie smiled, more matured for her age due to Ryder's tough times. She was fourteen, but acted like his mother sometimes. "Yeah, that guy. They're like scheduled attacks. Every end of every month, he sends something to try and kill Ryder."

Sonya's eyes flashed with a gold light at the hated name once the boy uttered it. "Well, that's reason enough for me to help." She muttered, her eyes darting over to the younger girl with a slight smile on her face. "Rassilon is a name that will get anyone I know on your side. Only if you say he's been fighting you for some reason, that would be enough anyway." She added wryly, turning her head to look over her shoulder and glance over at the creature curiously for a moment. "But it's hard to believe that he's sending them through the Time Lock... Unless he had struck a deal with those things to appear at certain times of the year."

She trailed off in thought, trying to think of a proper explanation as to how Rassilon could be attacking this kid even while in a Time Lock that no one could break. She pinched the bridge of her nose and shut her eyes mumbling to herself under her breath as she began to pace back and forth in the hallway. "Those things, do you know what they are? What they do?"

"I-I'm sorry, who's Rassilon?" Mal bit her bottom lip as she shifted to look at the creature. A new wave of nerves hit her and she felt nauseous. Oh great, not this again. But wait, there was one detail that would have normally slipped her mind but the fact she'd been hanging around these situations for the past few months, it struck her as odd. "Why would someone send monsters after you? Are you special or something?" More anxiety rolled through her limbs since Mal felt like she could relate. She felt if normal people found out about her psychic ability Torchwood would send after her and do god knows what. Well, they'd probably do whatever it was they did to freaks like her. Like what happened to all those people from the field? Why were they taken away? Why did no one question anything?

Tangent, don't go there, Mal. Focus on the situation at hand.

Robin looked between the three, no, four of them now, counting the little girl - Well no, she's my age, not little - completely lost. "Alright, so apparently some guy named Rassilon who's in a time lock is sending monsters after some random boy why?" She frowned, knowing the name Rassilon, but not remembering from where. Where, where was that name from? Context clues, apparently he was in a time lock and was sending things after people. Wait. Time lock. Was he really? Wow, then this guy must be important...

Looking up at Ryder's sister - who's brother's name she finally caught after going over the what she heard in her head - she frowned in confusion. "Wait, how does he know Rassilon? What'd he do to attract his attention?" It was a bit odd that the Timelord would be so interested in a human, whether he was special or not. She kind of felt bad for adding to the bombardment of questions, but she felt she might as well ask her's while they were at it.

Massie giggled, amused by their questions as she nudged Ryder. "Come on, speak. I'm not saying it all, you mute." He quickly frowned, glancing at her with a shake of the head. "You explain it better. Well, not better. Just more dramatic." She grinned, nudging her brother once again, but hard enough to make him nudge her back. He looked over his shoulder, hesitating for a moment before glancing back at the three in front of them. Three total strangers that have just taken interest in him for no apparent reason beside the name 'Rassilon'. How nice. Ryder cleared his throat, running the palms of his hands together before shoving them through his hair.

"Well," his voice sounded scratchy, but he went on due to a shove from his sister, "I didn't exactly do anything. It's kind of my parent's fault. Or my dad's, but that's not... Exactly the point..." He trailed off, running a hand down one side of his face before looking at Massie for some support. She was still grinning as he looked away. "My father... I've never met him. My mother says he was important. Someone who gave me.. What I can do." He shrugged sadly, leaning back up against a random locker. "I've never wanted to ask his name." Massie sighed, crossing her arms as she looked up and directly at Sonya, then Mal, then Robin, who was the only one at eye level with her. "Not that we haven't asked, he's lying. She won't tell us. It's too risky for him to know more or something. Whatever. But what you're missing is, we're not from this universe... Per say."

"Join the club, well.. Half of me, sort of, long story." Sonya mumbled, confusing herself for a moment before shaking her head and returning her attention to the boy and his sister with a wry smile. "You aren't the only ones. I know a few others in a situation like yours." She added in a softer tone, trying to keep her mind on track is it continually tried to wander off on different subjects at the moment. "So, your from another universe, you don't know who your father is because your mother refuses to tell you, something about protecting you, even though your still being attacked by Bio Creatures on a monthly basis. Oh, and you control water because of your father. Anything else you care to add?" She listed off, ticking each detail on a finger as she mentioned them, her eyes looking over the rim of her glasses as she studied the siblings in front of her. "Your no normal family, and honestly, that will end up drawing my kind to you like flies to honey. What's left of us anyway."

Mal gaped at the boy. He could manipulate water? Was that even possible? So he was magic? Yeah, the characters on the video games Mal played could do that but this was real life.. as in reality! Denial still managed to act as a blind fold in her life. Why should she believe all this when a normal life would be so much better, so much safer? Well no sense dwelling on it, not unless she wanted to be eaten by this Bio Creature Sonya was talking about. "Alright, s-so crazy Timelocked Rassilon is sending monsters after you because you can make water do what you want. That seems rather stupid to me. Sorry." She huffed loudly and backed up until she could lean against the wall.

Wait what? Robin rushed to look at Mal, then to Ryder. He could manipulate water? Well that was cool. It was a shame she missed it then. That still didn't explain why Rassilon wanted him dead, though. He could have gotten him mad, but it wasn't likely he had been to Gallifrey, so how did that happen? "Um, yeah, how exactly did you get tangled up with Rassilon?" She raised an eyebrow at the siblings, vaguely wondering if the girl could control water, too. "And why bio-creatures? That's an interesting choice, isn't it?" She wondered out loud, remembering the monsters outside. "That reminds me, shouldn't we take care of those, and then ask the questions?" Robin looked up to Sonya, then to Mal. No, no one wanted to get rid of those? Just gonna leave them there to rampage?

Ryder looked back over his shoulder, towards the monsters he had nearly forgotten about. "Massie, stay here." He said gently to his sister, who he knew would halfheartedly agree. But there was no arguing as Ryder set his path, moving away from them all to walk towards the park. People were screaming, loud enough to break windows. In fact, they probably did. Somewhere on some building. It was a park, a park in the center of town, so that meant a fountain. A large, magical fountain with a bunch of change waiting to make wishes come true.

Ryder stopped directly in front of the... Well, what did Sonya call them? Bio-creatures. Sure. To him, they were still 'monsters'. And the monster eyed him back, just like he assumed it would. Each month, three came a day. The first two seemed to be easy to destroy, the third one seemed almost stubborn. This one just needed some ice. Ryder positioned himself in front of the monster, whom was directly between him and the fountain. Sounds like a coincidence, but it's really just a small park. Or maybe just some luck. He sighed heavily, already drained from the last attack. He felt lightheaded from already trying. But still, water sprang from the fountain, flying out at the monster as it released what sounded like a tribal cry. Ryder tightened his hands into fists and the water froze, half soaked into the monster's skin. And as the water made a sudden stop, so did the thing. 'The thing'? Maybe I shouldn't be a writer when I'm older. Ryder frowned, trying to recollect his thoughts as he squeezed his eyes shut. And not meaning to, the monster erupted, flying into several different parts, locked in several pieces of ice. It was gone, it was history. Ryder felt his knees buckle, soon after feeling the grass press against his cheek. He had fallen, ice surrounding him as he tried to control his breathing.

"Your brother is impressive... Massie was it? But he needs to learn how to extend the energy evenly. He's sending out bursts in a large pattern not leaving any in his gas tank so to speak." Sonya murmured to the young girl before striding over next to him and crouching on the grass with an amused expression on her face. "Really, training. Do you even know the word moderation?" She asked curiously before placing a hand on his forehead and lending him a small spark of her own energy. "There, that ought to be enough to fill you back up. Can't take too much Time Lord in you, you'll either end up changing, your mind burning or you'll die... Well you could go crazy too, but that is beside the point. Most people that just spend time with us end up like that anyway."

Straightening back up, she eyed the shards of bio-creature and ice with a small frown. Bio-creatures. She hadn't seen them in quite a few years, in fact, she thought they were all gone. Considering the man that created them had died at least a few decades ago. Leaning over, she pulled her Sonic out and scanned the bit next to her quickly. The information automatically being sent to the TARDIS's data to be processed. "Right, you good now? Because I smell something foul and it isn't just the sewers."

Mal watched after Ryder nervously as he approached the monster. There was no way in hell you'd catch Mal doing what he was. She would never be able to confront a monster. Never. He had to be brave or use to this kind of crap. Well, wouldn't that make him brave?

Whoa! Mal's eyes widened further as she watched the water spring up, freeze the monster, and rip it apart like it was nothing at all. That was just a bit disgusting but it must be convenient to have that kind of pest control ability. Not that Mal would be able to live with herself if she did something like that. Heck, she could barely live with herself now.

Mal followed after Sonya at a slower pace, her eyes darting around to look at the bits of alien and her nose wrinkled in disgust. Finally she looked down at Ryder and huffed, "So does this make you a non-human or what? Wait, was that rude? Crap, why do I always sound rude?" She huffed at herself and started to pace away from the two of them, shaking her head in embarrassment.

Robin ran after the others, eyes wide. That was not expected. At all. Skidding to a stop, she crouched down next to Ryder, seeing as no one else seemed to give a crap if he was alright or not. Well Sonya helped, but of course she was busy with science and space now. "You okay?" She stood up, offering him a hand. Looking to Mal and Sonya, she decided she was completely lost. Although that wasn't rare. "So.. what exactly are we doing now? You think there's going to be another one?" She asked Sonya, not smelling anything. Then again, she didn't really understand much if it wasn't straightforward, so for all she knew, that was an expression and she was an idiot.

Ryder cautiously accepts the hand offer, rising to his feet as he glanced at Robin with a thankful nod of the head. Massie was approaching her brother's side. "Okay, one more to go. From what I remember last month, the last one is always the hardest, right Ryder?" She looked up at her brother, smirking all knowingly. He shrugged lightly, "yeah. Sure." He muttered, then nodded in the faint direction of his house. "We should be going. Sorry for... This. Kind of." Ryder said, placing his hand on his sister's shoulder, who was groaning. "Your dad will throw a fit if you're not home. And they're letting everyone out early like always. I don't want to be here when everyone comes out." Massie frowned, waving gently to Sonya, Mal, and Robin in turn. "See ya all." She glared back at Ryder, "he's your dad too." Ryder sternly crossed his arms, awkwardly staring down at the ice mess he made as Massie started down the sidewalk. "Not really." Then, upon hearing Mal, his cheeks turned a soft red. "I'm human. I think."

Sonya smiled slightly at Massie as she walked towards her house. "So, he's not really your dad and you think your human. That tells a lot about you." Sonya announced as she turned to face Ryder with her head tilted to the side, studying him. "After all of this is done, I would love to get to know you. Odd person you are, Ryder. I love odd people, rude I know, but still." She tucked her hands into her jacket pockets, eyeing the area around them with a slight frown. "One more she said, always in sets of three. Well This whole thing stinks of paid assassins."

She began to pace around the area in a circle, side-stepping the bits of bio-creature still scattered there as she did, a deep look of thought plastered across her face. "Ryder, care to tell us why exactly Rassilon has his eyes set on you? Or are you going to keep that quiet."
