Family: An annoying older sister, Caroline. Parents, both deceased for 6 years now. They had died in a plane crash coming back from an expedition in China.

Personality: North is described as a high-functioning sociopath. He's amused by murders and things gone astray, but doesn't like to get his hands dirty. He gets bored easily, and bluntly announces it to the world practically everyday. He's killed once or twice, or talked others into doing it for him. He also really enjoys insulting people.

History: North used to help the police with crimes, help them figure out puzzles, but had stopped doing that two years after his parents died. He became the one the police looked for. An absolute genius with a keen eye and knows of Torchwood's existence. Someone they need dead.  He had began ruining operations in Cardiff for Torchwood, initially set on letting all those alien creatures, the ones they wanted locked up, roam the streets. On his side, on his terms. He's incredibly good at deduction, and people have in fact compared him to Sherlock Holmes. Don't do that. Be very careful with what you do. So don't do that.

Now, in the present time for North, he's practically a psychopath. A murderer, who sometimes drops hints about other murderers to the police. Only when he gets bored, of course. He has no friends, and he likes to believe everyone is his enemy. Especially this Doctor character everyone keeps chatting away about at Torchwood. It'd be nice to see him dead.
