| The only problem I've noticed is that the Mods and Admins are not on enough because of this it takes a while to get things approved. Other wise I really love this site!

| In my very brief stint on this site, I've experienced a LOT of things, both good and bad. Mostly good though. Here are some highlights though: -I thoroughly enjoy that I can talk to anybody in yellow or blue without having to worry about being judged, because more than often they're experiencing the same issues as I. (Either people or musings) -The Admins all seem to be on the same page, knowledgable about virtually everything on the site itself. And if they have no idea of how to help me, they know where to direct me to get some answers. -Although this isn't a site problem, I'm vastly disturbed by the amount of people who DON'T want to explore anything outside of the reboot series and playing in the modern times. I mean, Doctor Who doesn't JUST take place in Modern-time London. -I think another issue could lie with the whole character assignment as well. Although I haven't had this issue myself (it does affect us all however) perhaps instead of a two change limit, looking into a time period limit instead? Like "you must keep this character for so-and-so months before looking into changing." Then have a process where one must talk to an admin about changing, kind of like an approval process? Personally, I think the set-in-stone commitment scares people, and that's how they can lose the muse. Kind of like the three wishes deal. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. But if I can think up any more, I'll let you know. | |

| Four, you make a good point about the swp thing, and t would make sense, but it gets confusing if someone up and changes their character while your in the middle of rping with them. | |

| There is truth in that. However, if both or all parties agree that the RP has come to a stand-still, or if the RP is just abandoned, there isn't much of an issue there. Switching characters shouldn't just be a responsibility of the admins to handle, most of it should be the person's switching responsibility to be able to tell their partners "hey, this is a thing, and I'm switching it up." I don't know, maybe I'm looking too deep into the matter compressor. ("What's a matter compressor? Oh, nothing much. What's up with you?") In a site dedicated entirely to writing and storytelling, communication is the number one priority. | |

| Yeah, I kow what you mean, but the reason we put a limit on the changing of cannons was because we had one person on here (Can't remember who) That changed three or four times through different doctor characters, and the entire time, they were in a rp with someone that was trying to establish a title of companion with a Doctor character. So they either had to abandon that one and start again, or come up with some brilliant reasoning as to why the doctor they were with before ran off and was replaced by another one.
It's just a long string of complications that could be avoided as long as they waited until they were done with rps they were in at the moment then during the time they didn't have any to be in changed it.

| My honest opinion? Usually that ticks people off. ANYWAYS
I feel that we should be able to advertise on here. And don't take this the wrong way. I'm NOT saying this because of my site. I just feel like we should be able to give people other rp sites. One that I'm on has a section for people to advertise. And I don't even know if people even look at it. But it's kinda annoying, not being able to even really talk abou my own rp. When I was first starting mine, I was talking about the troubles of it in chat, to Michelle (River). She asked for a link, and then one of the admins told me to stop advertising. *-* I mean, if people want a link, then we shoupd be able to give them one. And she didn't even become inactive on this site due to my site... she's been inactive on both.
Now, 'm sory if this has angered anyone, but you asked for an honest opinion. There's mine.

| It was mentioned somewhere, that it might be best to have two separate subforums for the not so good RPers, and the people who can actually write a lot. And to have character approval coincide with that, to let the cruddy or not so good ones do their own thing, and the literate writers still be able to write without interference from those people.
I don't know if that's a good idea though...might accidentally separate and shove people away, since we don't have too many members around here right now...

| Meta, I think it's not a great idea to split up like that as it makes people feel that they're not worth as much as others when in fact what they need most is practice. I think it would discourage people from joining if they thought they were going to be judged like that. | |

| I am not sure whether this would be an idea as it does become increasingly hard to chose between the amount of characters especially when one grows fond of them, that eliminating one is difficult...point is maybe we could up the original character creation by one? I would think that the canons would still be able to stay at one but...I don't know. Tbh, I quite like how it is now. Sorry am on a mobile so I am unsure whether this makes any sort of sense? | |
