| 'There is a mountain, one side is paradise, filled with the most beautiful of things from all of the planets in all of the times there are.
The mountain reaches high into the sky on a planet made for this mountain alone. No one knows how tall it is, because it's believed that no one has ever reached the top. At least not yet. Now, when a Time Lord regenerates, they loose a part of their life and it is sent to this mountain to wait
With each regeneration, each person they wronged in that life turns into a stone for the Time Lord to carry.
and with each time they Regenerate, the stones pile higher and higher. Until they reach the final death.
Once they have, the Time Lord is required to carry all of the stones of all of the people they have wronged in their lives up the mountain.
 and until each stone is placed on the top, they cannot cross to the side of paradise because those that suffer need a place to rest before they do.
The Time Lord must live their life with honor and discipline in order to reach this mountain with the least amount of stones possible so they can peacefully rest on the other side. But not one has ever gotten away with life without a mountain of stones to carry.
 Be warned by this story, for if you wish to reach paradise in the end. You must treat each creature and person with respect and honor or they will burden you even after death. | |
