| Peering down at the console, Sayo eyed the button blinking up at him with a frown. "No, I won't push that button, last time I did, I died and became this!" Gesturing at himself, he scowled at the TARDIS ceiling as it chimed back at him.
"Of course I love how I look now, who can blame me?" With a snort, he ran a hand through his black hair and rolled his eyes. "But I don't want to change again, I like this body. I like who I am right now and don't plan on changing that anytime soon."
Listening to the TARDIS chime and beep softly in the background, Sayo shook his head and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "But why? Why does it have to be that particular button? Why?"
Silence descended around him, making the Time Lord stick his tongue childishly out at the ship and glance back down at the button with trepidation. He wasn't one to hold any thought to bad luck or karma, but... Who was he kidding, he knew at the back of his mind he was afraid of jinxing himself again by pushing that button!
"But I don't want to!" He whined to the empty control room, his lips turning into a pout while pacing around the controls, hands tucked into his pockets as he stared at his feet. "On one hand, I could have a great adventure lined up for Robin whenever she decided to make her way into the room.
On the other, he could just end up regenerating, again, and turn back into a woman. Pausing next to the blinking button again, he eyed it with a scowl. He really didn't want to do that. Like... Really didn't.
A soft hum from under his feet made Sayo sigh this time. The ship always ended up getting what she wanted, even if it was something he didn't want to do. "Fine, but if I regenerate, I'm changing your desktop theme." He warned, smiling lightly at the fluttery laughter he 'heard' the TARDIS give before pushing the button down with a wince.
He better not regenerate this time.

Robert’s Lounge
"So, he's become a bit of a problem, Boss." A rather bulky man murmured into the ear of another, a finely dressed man with a mean glint in his eye.
"Fine, send the, uh..." He glanced around the restaurant and leaned in close to the other man. " 'Angels' to bless him. And report back to me once they finished the job."

| Morning rose on the smoggy city of New York, the sun peeking out through highrises that made up the skyline. There are always a million things going on at once in this city, and most people don’t have time to stop to gape at every single thing. There was one thing, however, that couldn’t help but catch the public’s interest.
“Was this a murder, or a kidnapping?” “Why do you think someone would go after Mr. Borynski?” “Has the investigation found anything yet?”
A crowd of reporters stood just outside the police tape surrounding a seemly average New York home, hounding police with questions and the flashing lights of cameras. This wasn’t just any home, though. This was the home of Tyler Borynski, a famous activist that had suddenly disappeared from his home a few nights ago, only a fine dust and a few drops of blood on the carpets to indicate that anything ever happened.
"The investigation is still ongoing. As we have said before, we will release more details when we figure them out"
On the periphery of the crowd stood a young irish teen tapping at his watch, occasionally looking up to the house before looking down again with an even deeper frown on his face. No one really paid attention to him, of course, which was all the better for him. The less people questioning him the faster he could figure out the strange time fluctuations in this area and, hopefully, finally get a concrete lead towards his TARDIS.

| Chris peeked her head into the console room, eyes bleary and tired. Her wings drooped as she trudged inside, wiping lazily at the crust in the corners of her vision. ".... Hi," she mumbled softly, fluttering closer to her friend. Her legs gave out beneath her as she landed and she hit the ground with a huff of air. "That was on purpose," she clarified, making no effort to get herself back up. Instead, she turned on her side and curled in on herself, closing her eyes and draping her wing over her body.
"Where're we going?" she sighed, peeking one eye open blearily.

| "No idea." Sayo chirped happily, busy at the controls while peeking over at an obviously tired Robin with a small frown. "Did you even sleep last night? You look like a wreck." Glancing at the screen, he reached over and fiddled with a couple switches before moving to stand in front of her, leaning back against the console and folding his arms. "I do have some coffee in the kitchen somewhere from my Sonya days." He added with a small smile and shrug.
"I could always just make you a cup if you need it that bad. Either way, you better perk up soon, Lady here will be landing in about five minutes. Normally it's not a big deal..." Turning to look up at the time rotor, Sayo frowned again in thought. "But she's acting urgent and Honestly... It's a bit worrying. Half the time this happens, I either end up... Well-" He paused, looking back at her with a sheepish smile. "I either end up regenerating or the TARDIS ends up being damaged somehow."
Crouching down, he pulled open a hatch and jumped down inside, looking around for a moment before spotting the box he was searching for and tossing it up onto the floor and climbing back out to start digging in it. "I don't know if I have all the parts I might need either, so... Unlike what I usually say, Lady Love. We'll have to be careful."
