| (Feel free to join this RP! This is built mainly to introduce my character, and would like it if at least one Timelord showed up)
It was a gloomy, foggy morning in New York City, but it was far from silent. Throughout the city, the sounds of car horns echoed throughout the streets. It was rush hour. Millions of pedestrians walked the streets and sidewalk, each trying to get to their respective jobs and paying no real mind to those around them. On one sidewalk in times square, however, walked a very different figure. It was seven and a half feet tall, and dressed in trench coat, boots, hat, glasses, and gloves. It walked alongside other pedestrians, until finally turning and unlocking the door into a small antique shop, ducking its head to enter. Once inside, it took off it's glasses and hat, revealing an alien exterior, complete with black, void-like eyes and three crests on his head. His name was Au'Nvratyis Ky'for'ua, and he was king of the long lost Kathractian civilization. Was. on this planet his name was Joe Peschelli, owner of a run-down antique shop who barely made enough to feed himself the human delicacy known as "chinese food". He put his hat and glasses back on, and flipped the sign on the door to "Open". He took his seat behind the counter and waited for a customer.

| Echo ran down the path, away from the trio of doctors chasing her. Why couldn't she age? It wasn't fair that just because she's looked twenty-something for as long as she could remember doesn't mean that she had to sit in a hospital bed, hooked up to machines that did nothing but bleep at her all day. She had no memory of her family or anything really. She jumped into an alleyway and allowed the doctors to run past. She looked into a nearby puddle and frowned at her reflection. Short, skinny, silver eyes, black hair that came to her chin in jagged clumps. Why was she so weird? She stood up and kicked the murky water before cautiously walking out of the alleyway. She crossed the street and walked past a familiar looking shop. She stopped and peered through the window. She must have run this way before. Amnesia was a curse... | |

| Robin frowned. Something was wrong. It was dark, and she couldn't see. And it felt like something knocked her down so hard that she didn't want to get up. Then the darkness turned to a bit of an orange color. Orange, why was she seeing orange? Oh yeah, she was waking up and the sun was coming out. That made a lot more sense than being mugged and hallucinating, since this isn't what happened the last time...
Sighing, she sat up, opening her eyes to see she was laying against a brick wall in the middle of New York. She was in New York, right? Must be, since all the people were walking so fast in a never ending flow. And the accents, can't forget the accents. After a moment, she realized why she was hearing an accent. Because someone was yelling at her for being in their way. Grumbling something under her breath, she stood up and let the man pass. That was the last time she would trust anyone with random coordinates. Especially when she was so tired.
Looking around, she realized she was in front of an antique shop. Well that should be fun, maybe she'd recognize some of it. Shrugging, she stepped inside, smiling a bit at the interior. Now she could see why they gave her these coordinates, this place was cool. Turning towards the counter, she saw a rather tall man. Well that didn't look suspicious... Frowning, she turned back to the antiques, trying to avoid eye contact. He reminded her of someone, someone she saw a pretty long while ago... who was he?

| Au'Nvratyis watched the girl who entered closely. He recognized her immediately as Robin, the girl he met during the Cyberman incident. What she was doing here he didn't know, but it seemed that either through the dim lighting in his shop or through obliviousness, she didn't recognize him. He stood up behind his counter, and decided he would treat her like a customer. "Can I help you, Ma'm?" He asked, putting his two visible hands together. His two arms that he kept hidden sat crossed at his waist. He saw her observing the antiques, and decided to step in. He approached her, nodding his head towards the merchandise she was looking over. "I just had those rings shipped in from Mongolia." He explained in his alien sounding voice, unlocking the glass display box and taking one of the rings out.
It was an intricate golden band with a perfectly cut rectangular ruby in the middle, which seemed to slightly glow. In reality, it was a ring that he brought from Kath when he fled it, a signet ring. He held it softly, like a fond memory that could slip from his hands at any moment.

| Robin gasped in realization as she spun around to face the alien as he spoke to her. That was... whatshisname! Gosh, out of all the names for forget, it had to be the scary tall alien man. Well that would be fun, considering how well their last encounter went as far as greetings. "Oh hi!" She giggled, laughing at the coincidence of it all. "So you work at an antique shop... did not see that one coming." She shrugged, looking down at the ring as it glowed. "It's beautiful, I've never seen anything like it. And that's saying something for me." She continued to stare at it, wondering why she was so captivated. | |

| Au'Nvratyis nodded his head in return. "It would appear I have successfully jogged your memory." He said, his other two arms appearing out of the middle of his trench coat and closing the glass display case. "This ring...it was my brother's. All that's left of him. And now, here I am, pawning the emotional and material treasures of my lost people, just to survive." He said, and made a rather unexpected move. Both of his lower arms reached out and softly grabbed Robin's arm, and he held her open hand up and deposited the ring in it, closing her hand with his two upper arms. "Your eyes...remind me of him. It would destroy me to sell this, better to pass it on." He said rather morosely, and returned his lower arms to the inside of his coat, his upper arms resting on the display case. "What brings you here, Robin?" He asked, taking off his tinted glasses and wiping them off using a cloth, his black, bead-like eyes locked onto hers. | |

| Robin stuttered, staring at him incredulously, "Uh, I-I was just given random coordinates and, uh... y-yeah..." She looked down at the ring in her hand. She could believe  the thing about her eyes, they were yellow for Pete's sake, whoever Pete is, but this was probably one of the only things he had left from his planet, and he just gave it to her. She didn't want to sound rude, like she didn't like it, but she just thought he should keep it. It broke her heart to see something like this happen.
Fishing in her pocket, she pulled out a couple of dollars and a few coins, whatever she had left to spend in America. Looking back up to him, she smiled, handing him the money and the ring. "I can't let you give away something this important to you. You can have that to help you along, I know it isn't much, but out of all the things you could be selling, this shouldn't be one. Keep it." She took one of his hands and placed the ring and money into it, making sure he would take it.

| Au'Nvratyis looked at the ring in his hand, along with the few dollars Robin gave him. He was processing this unexpected scenario in his head, wondering why a human, a member of a species that is so firmly built on fighting each other for the most inconsequential of resources, would turn down one of the most valuable rings in the galaxy, the ring of a Ky. This was a grave dishonor, and it saddened him. He nodded, and returned the ring to its display case. He entertained the thought of expressing his disappointment, but it wouldn't do the situation good. Instead, he found a way to alleviate the problem. "Fate sent you to me for a reason, Robin. I have a rather large shipment of Sontaran cutlery sets coming into the Epsilon 5 spaceport. I could use the extra help bringing it back here." He said, placing his hands on the counter, patiently waiting for her response. | |

| Robin nodded, "Sure, why not?" She mentally sighed, seeing as he put it back into the display case. Maybe he really wanted her to have it or something? She was just trying to help him keep a piece of his home planet. Well it was probably best to just move on from it and help him with the potato-man stuff. "So, uh, where is the spaceport? I could take a shortcut for us." She shrugged, holding up the arm with her manipulator on it. It was the least she could do after... whatever just happened there.

| Au'Nvratyis chuckled when he saw the vortex manipulator on her wrist. "There will be no need, I have something better." He said, and took off his disguise. He placed his four hands on the large, round buckle on his intricate looking belt, and spoke a language Robin had never heard before. Â "Ky'D Dr'Ik, Vok'Rex Vo'Ky" he uttered in his native tounge, and the belt reacted, intricate locking mechanisms opening and a small gem in the middle projecting a solid hologram map of the galaxy. He navigated the map until he found Epsilon 5, and pointed at it with all fou of his index fingers, until a crosshair appeared on the little hologram of the space station and the hologram disappeared, a rythmic beeping sound coming from the center of the belt. He extended his lower right arm towards Robin. "Shall we?" | |

| Robin looked at the display in awe, completely amazed by the alien tech. This was... just... awesome! There were no other words coming to her brain. As hologram turned off, she looked towards... she was really going to ask for his name again later. She giggled and nodded at his offer and took his hand, not really sure of how this would work. Oh well, it's always good to try new things, especially when they're alien. "Ready whenever you are." | |

| When Robin took his hand, it closed tightly around hers. He looked back down at his belt buckle, and spoke again. "Ky'D Dr'Ik, Dr'Ek'Tar!" He firmly exclaimed, and the world exploded into motion. Robin would feel like she was going fast. Very fast. Stars and planets and alien solar systems all whooshed by, over and under. Although it looked and felt like they were flying through space at an impossible speed, if  Robin would look down, she'd find her feet firmly planted on some invisible ground. A tiny,  grey dot appeared in front of them, which immediately turned into a massive space station, with galactic cruise ships and interstellar cargo brigs docked to it and everything. They finally came to a stop inside one of the landing bays, the assorted alien workers giving them curious glances before going back to their business. "Robin, I welcome you to the Epsilon 5 Economic Spaceport." He said. He had left his disguise in his store, and was just wearing some exotic looking pants. His eyes, crests, four arms, and extremely well toned upper body were in full view. He didn't need it here, this being the only place he could display his Kathractian biology for all the lesser races to see. | |

| Robin's eyes bulged as they were sent flying through space. Looking around her, she saw tons of stars and planets zooming by, and she was having trouble wrapping her head around how this was possible. As soon as they landed, she stepped away from him and spun in a circle. Yes, they were actually here. Well that was... awesome! She mentally sighed at her lack of vocabulary. Turning to face him, she grinned. "What was that? How did we do that? That was so cool!" Again with the vocabulary... She giggled, looking around once more and confirming that they were still there. That was probably the best form of transport she'd ever taken. Ever. "So, what are we getting again? Sontaran somethings, right?" She really needed to buy a dictionary. | |

| Au'Nvratyis smiled at her excitement. She was like a child, except bigger. Transport using The Ruler's Ark was infinitely more interesting than travel using a vortex manipulator, mostly because it tended to do exactly what was intended, and had a 100% accuracy ratio. It also couldn't crash. "We're here to pick up a shipment of Sontaran cutlery. Tourists who visit my shop tend to be fond of the cutlery sets, especially the Sontaran ones." He said, and started to walk towards the entrance, motioning for her to follow with both of his left arms. "It's very important that you let me do the talking for the entrance. The guards have been a bit anxious, ever since the recent pirate attack a few cycles ago." He explained, keeping close to her in the entrance line, which was crowded with all kinds of aliens visiting the station. At the end of the line, there was a giant, reptilian security guard who was like a centaur if the bottom half was a salamander toting a proportionally sized laser gun, chittering orders to other guards of assorted species who carried out searches and document verification. "It is also very important that you don't look nervous. Kronk, The large one, can quite literally smell fear." He added, ignoring the stares from other aliens, directed at either the weapons on his belt, his companion, or his body. | |

| "Oh, well that's reassuring..." Robin mumbled, looking around at the scary guards. She could at least look normal, she was used to acting not nervous, but if that Kronk guy really could smell fear, then she was dead. Probably. As she followed him, she tried very hard not to bite her lip or cross her hands behind her back or anything. Although at this point, it probably looked like she was trying too hard. Come on, no one wants you dead or anything, just calm down and act natural. Ha, as if acting natural ever worked for anybody. She looked around slowly as she continued to follow him, trying to pick out anything that could help calm her down. There wasn't. | |

| Au'Nvratyis chuckled, and looked straight ahead. When it finally became their turn to enter, he looked down at her. "Just don't panic. I'll translate." He whispered, before one of the guards, a small bipedal lizard holding a laser pistol called them up, and they stood in front of a booth, where a fat, mass lf tentacles with a face began speaking to Au'Nvratyis in a guttural, gurgling language that Au'Nvratyis replied in. This process went on for a few minutes, and appeared to be a series of question. During one particularly lenghty question, it motioned at Robin with a tentacle, and as Au'Nvratyis replied, he put his four hands on Robin's shoulders and replied with a lengthy answer. It's eyes looked over the both of them for a few seconds, suspicion clear in its face before it sighed and pressed a button, opening a door that led to the interior of the space station. "Come on." Au'Nvratyis said, waiting for a response from Robin | |

| Robin looked up at him as he touched her shoulders, really wondering what they were saying. Why was she important? She was barely anything, so why did they care so much? As soon as they were done, she frowned and began to talk into the room that was opened. "What were you guys saying?" She turned around and started walking backwards, crossing her arms as she stared at him. This whole situation was becoming a bit uncomfortable. "Why did it care about me?" If Kronk was nearby he would definitely be able to smell her fear now. | |

| "She was asking about the purpose of our visit and what kind of relationship we had. The last pirates who sabotaged the defenses worked in pairs, so she had reason to be suspicious. I told her you were my wife." Au'nvratyis explained, rubbing the back of his neck with his upper left hand. "Other than that, it was just questions you would get at the airport. What the weapons were for, if we were carrying any contraband. Questions of that caliber." He said, and led Robin into the market, which was bustling with activity. Alien merchants peddled their wares to any who passed by, and as they walked through, merchants left and right offered Robin and Ky rings, amulets, and clothing from all corners and crannies of the galaxy. Au'Nvratyis stopped at a stand that featured jewelry, and gave the merchant the five dollars that Robin had given him. The insectoid creature that ran the shop inspected the dollars, gave them a good looking over, and handed Ky a beautiful amulet which feaured an irridescent gem that changed colors depending on the light. Ky handed the amulet to Robin, a smile on his face. "Consider it your payment." He said. | |

| Robin took the ring hesitantly, "Um... I'm only 14, how does it make sense that I'm your wife?" She looked up at him with an eyebrow raised, feeling a tad uncomfortable. Was he trying to flirt with her or was this just normal for him? Either way, it felt weird. Especially since she would probably never ever marry anyone. "Okay... anyway - which way is the Sontaran stuff?" At this point she just kind of wanted to get this over with, even if she felt a bit bad for being rude to him. | |

| Au'Nvratyis looked at Robin as if she had asked a really silly question. "You must understand, it was the only thing that made sense enough to not have us arrested on the spot, and even then it almost didn't work." he explained, trying to justify his actions to this...human. Was she human? he passed his eyes over her. Was the offering offending her? was HE offending her? It didn't matter to him past that point. He seemed to stiffen up, standing up straighter than needed. "The Sontaran merchant is through here. Follow me and don't get lost. There are criminals everywhere, and it would destroy me if anything happened to you." he said in a suddenly cold, almost detached voice. He seemed to wait for a few seconds, then started walking in the direction he had indicated, weaving through the countless different aliens in the spaceport, dissappearing into the crowd. If Robin blinked, she would find herself standing alone among the crowd of aliens, with Au'Nvratyis nowhere in sight. | |

| Robin winced, feeling bad once more. Was it just her or was it hard to stay on this guy's good side? It was probably just her. With a sigh, she realized she had just caught him moving away, so she ran to go catch up with him. Apparently she needed to run for more than just that, since he was moving so fast. She was actually a bit surprised she was able to stay with him this far.
It wasn't like she was going to tell him to slow down though, or else she might accidentally offend him. Again. Wow, she was bad at this. Weaving through the crowd of people, she tripped on the rather long foot of a man who looked strangely like a rabbit and fell down onto her face. "Oh, so sorry," She called up to him, getting off of his foot and standing up, looking around to find the 4 armed man zipping past.
... Crap. | |

| Au'nvratyis trudged through the crowd, and stopped to look behind him. He had been walking for a few minutes, and decided it would he a good idea to check if Robin was still with him. She wasn't. He scanned the crowd for her distinctive red hair and yellow eyes, but could not locate her. "Robin!" He called out, but the sounds of commerce drowned him out. He pulled a turtle-esque alien aside. "Have you seen a red-haired human girl?" He asked in a series of clicks and whistles. "They have dogs with no noses! off!" The alien replied in the same language. He continued to search for her, but to no avail.
Robin would find herself grabbed by the arm and pulled into an alley. It became clear that it was not Ky who pulled her when she found herself being held against the wall by two aliens. One of them was crab-like, his antennae waving in the air at random. The other alien holding her was a squid, resembling a dalek outside of its suit, but in a completely different type of suit than usual. Rather than an impenetrable tank, it was a bipedal suit, complete with an almost comical glass dome where the small, squid like creature was clearly visible operating controls. If she would look in front of her, there was an alien that appeared human, save for the multiple eyes and needle-like teeth. It was also holding a rather large knife. "Your credits, human. Hand them over and I won't leave you looking like Chitters there, see?" The one with the knife snarled out, motioning to the crab alien holding her left arm down.

| Robin yelped as she was dragged away and pinned to the wall. Okay. Not good. Looking between all the aliens wide eyed, she first noticed the crab and the squid, and then the reptile with the knife. Her heart thudded quickly as she realized she had no credits. She just gave the rest of her money to... come on, you know is name... Ky. "C-Credits? I-I don't have any money, I-I gave it all to my friend and, uh..." She bit her lip, pretty sure they weren't going to believe her. Where was Mal when you needed her?
"P-Please, let me go, I-I don't have anything, p-please," She stuttered, struggling to get free. Her right arm wasn't pinned down, but she had a feeling if she tried anything she'd be killed. So that was great. "Help! Some please!" She screamed, shaking in fear as she stared right into the alien's eyes.

| The two aliens holding her down barely even budged as Robin struggled against them. It was clear they were very experienced muggers. The reptilian with the knife scowled, and motioned towards Chitters, the crab alien, who reached into her pocket with his free claw and pulled out the ring Au'Nvratyis had given her about ten minutes ago. All of his eyes focused on it, and he tossed it to the reptilian. "Found this in her pocket, Skrul." It hissed out, and Skrul caught the ring, holding it out in front of his eyes. "Pretty ring, human. Did your friend give it to ya?" Skrul mockingly stated, stuffing the ring into his own pocket. "Zesh, hold her head still for me." Skrul ordered, and the squid in the bipedal robot suit raised it's free hand which clenched around Robin's jaw. Skrul stepped up to her, until his face was a few inches away from hers. "You've got pretty eyes, human, Maybe I'll keep one. I don't like it when people lie to me." He snarled out, circling her left eye with the knife, the tip of the wicked looking blade hovering just above her skin. The tip hovered down to her quivering lips, and Skrul got a very nasty looking glint in his eyes. The ends of his mouth curled into twisted smiles. "Maybe you've got something better than credits..." He muttered, and looked like he was going to say something else, then Robin would hear a light Woosh of air, and see a dark shape land behind Skrul as four bone colored hands closed around his head.
With a sick crunching and squishing noise, Skrul's neck was snapped so hard that not even a breath escaped. The two aliens looked at Skrul's twitching corpse, and then at their assailant. Before they could do anything, Au'Nvratyis had gone into an unarmed combat stance, and delivered a solid chop to the crab alien's arm, breaking the exoskeleton and releasing the grip on Robin's left arm, the severed claw falling to the ground. As Chitters shrieked in pain, Zesh the squid pushed Robin to the ground, putting her out of the way. Zesh swung at Au'Nvratyis once, before Au'Nvratyis jumped a solid five feet in the air and delivered a spinning kick with his hoof that shattered the thick glass dome, splattering the pilot inside. He turned back to Chitters the crab, who was standing back up, Skrul's knife in his remaining claw. It lunged forward, but Au'Nvratyis grabbed the knife by the wrist guard and disarmed Chitters. Throwing the knife away, he kicked Chitters into the wall, then pinned him with his lower arms while releasing a flurry of punches with his top two arms, until Chitters was thoroughly unconscious/half dead. He extended an arm to help Robin up, his chest heaving up and down as he slowed his breathing to calm down. "Are you alright?" He asked
