| Amelia had been up for over twenty hours. She was trying to contact someone. Anyone. She'd been calling and texting. She was stuck somewhere and she was lost. She'd left her car to try and find reception and she couldn't find her way back.
"Why me?" She whined to herself. She pulled out her phone to see it blink off, dying. She groaned. "Well, I'm lost, alone, and I have no cell phone." She sat down on the ground and pulled her knees up to her chest as she shivered.
Maybe a nap wouldn't be so bad, She thought. Her eyes started drifting closed. Suddenly, a sound woke her.
"Who's there?" She yelled, blinking blearily. | |

| It had been several hours. Several hours of toying with the TARDIS and she had finally groaned enough to force the Doctor into leaving. He had pocketed his hands and sat outside while she fumed over the Doctor's tinkering skills. Eventually, he was able to hear noises being carried from the street not to far away. He made his way to the edge of the cement, running his hand over his hair to get strands out of his face as he squinted into the dark. There was a girl in the distance. One he couldn't see very well, but nevertheless, a girl on her own. In the dark. He stepped closer, immediately stumbling on a twig he didn't remember seeing before. Then again, he could hardly see anything and seeing that stick would have been unlikely. Under the pressure of his shoe, the twig snapped, a loud sound breaking through the silence. "Oh, ah... Sorry. Twig's fault." He ran his hands together, taking another cautious step forward. "Did I interrupt something?" | |

| Robin sprinted through the woods, heart racing out of control as she dodged the many trees always seeming to plant themselves right in front of her. Wild eyes darted back and forth as she narrowly missed a low hanging branch, practically tripping over her feet. Whatever was chasing her, she had no idea. She just knew that it sounded like it was leaving a path of destruction and that was good enough for her. Eyes catching sight of a figure - no, two - up ahead, she had to make a quick decision. Turn around or go straight for the random people, who may or may not be the thing she was running from in the first place. Her feet skid to a half at the edge of the grass, causing her to lose her balance and fall face first into the pavement of the road. Quickly picking herself up off the ground, she tried to examine her hands in the dim light. She couldn't see much, but she could definitely feel the scrapes. Suddenly remembering she was in the presence of others, she smoothed down her shirt with a wince and turned to face the others, already tugging off her jacket in case she needed to make another quick get away, something she was not going to achieve by running this time. Not at the rate she was breathing. | |
