Family: Mom and Dad are alive, but not important in her life. They are still together, after years of arguing. She is actually a triplet, and has two other siblings, Morgan and David. Allthough they dissapeared one day...
Personality: Dakota Hemmel is a tomboy, with not interest in jewlery or pretty clothes. She'd much rather be reading than be at a party. She actually likes school, and is the kind of person who really wants to accomplish their dreams.
Strengths: very good at avoiding temptation. Book smart and street-smart
Weaknesses: kinda gullible at times

Dream: that one day she'll meet the Doctor again. Or that she will be a well known scientist. She also really wants to find her siblings. This one thing bascally runs her life.
History: Dakota's parents were very abusive, being drunk all the time. Dakota was too smart to give in to this, and eventually couldn't take it anymore. One day, when she was eleven, Dakota ran away with her best friend Alexa. Dakota is somewhat shy, but once you get to know her, she's really fun to be around. As a kid, she was always quiet, and Dakota didn't have many friends, besides Alexa. Dakota has always done well in school, and science has always been her favorite subject. Dakota isn't really a violent person, always aiming to help people and the enviornment. Her siblings David and Morgan were taken one day; they vanished mysteriously. Her whole aim is to find them.
HOW DID YOU FIND US?: I was just searching for a doctor who rp site, because I am VERY addicted to Doctor Who. Ask any of my friends! My best friend banned me from talking about doctor who for a week because I was being so annoying!
Roleplay:
It's a dark night, and Dakota can only see one thing illuminated by a streetlight across the street- the Doctor. The only problem is that the whole deserted, dark street is infested with Vashta Nerada.
remember what he said, she tells herself. He had told Dakota before that the Vashta Nerada were confined to the shadows. Not every shadow, but any shadow. So she needs to be careful. Dakota has a few things in her backpack, including some food and the Doctor's own sonic screwdriver. She's been trapped in this circle of light for about ten minutes, and has had time to come up with a plan. She has some matches in her pack, and takes them all out, along with the chicken leg and the full length carrot. Taking a match, she lights it and places it just outside the circle of light that she's standing in. Taking the chicken leg, she throws it cautiously in front of her into the shadows. When the leg is untouched, she smiles and pushes the match farther into the shadows. Now with small pieces of carrot, she goes a few feet away from the first match, and working quickly, she puts the piece of carrot on the street. Again, the carrot is untouched by the Vashta Nerada, so she lights and places another match. Continuing with her plan, she eventually makes a path of matches, going toward the Doctor. When she gets to the end, reaching the Doctor's side, she laughs and throws her arms around his neck with relief.
