Parallel Theta Sigma

I hope you're fine if I post what I wrote when I signed up? I know you probably already have Doctors, so I tried making him a bit different. It's fine if he's not accepted, but I just think that I needed to make his origin as wibbly wobbly and 'Doctor Who-ish' as possible. ^.^ *takes deep breath* phew, here we go:


Name: Theta Sigma (does NOT go by the Doctor)

Species: Time Lord

Appearance: Like a human teen...though not, cause Timelords came first. Slicked back light brown hair in the style of One, some freckles, dark brown tweed shirt, jeans, and a dark blue bowtie. Bright blue eyes.

Attitude: Cheery and eccentric, much like the main universe's eleventh doctor, with a bit less 'oncoming storm' and curiosity that would rival the tenth doctor.

Gadgets/Weapons: A transtemporal sonic screwdriver (see amazon for a picture; they have one of those) and a Type 57 TARDIS.

Back Story: Now, you may associate the name Theta Sigma with the Doctor. Well, technically this is the Doctor, but not. I wanted to add some wibbly wobbliness to this roleplay.
So this IS Theta, within the Doctor's first thirty years of life. He had a friendship with Romana and Koschei, and went to the Prydonian Academy. But this...this is all in a parallel universe.
This Theta is a liiitttle bit different. And I mean only a little bit. He was a bit more studious. And this resulted in him not failing his TARDIS driving test, and graduating the Academy early. So no type 40, no desperate need of running away that cannot be reached. He ended up getting a nice Type 57 which he formed a bond with, and was free to come and go from Gallifrey whenever he liked, more exploring the Universe instead of frantic running.
Being that he had curiosity and little to no sense, Theta thought it'd be a good idea to explore a black hole. The Other had did it, and changed Gallifrey forever; why couldn't he? And THAT is how Theta came to this universe; no common sense and a supermassive black hole that sucked him in and rocketed him to here, to Earth.
Theta has no knowledge about the Timelords being dead in this universe, the daleks, cybermen, or much of the pain this Universe's Doctor went through. He also does not have the title the Doctor, just Theta.

Interesting Quirks: Much like a mix of the Doctors. He has the hair of One. The recorder of Two. The fondness of Jelly Babies of Four. The curiosity of Ten. And the positive attitude towards life of Eleven on a good day. Oh, and a bowtie.

We actually do not have a lot of Doctors, we preferably need more. 11, 10 and 13 are taken and that is it at the moment. So if you'd like to pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 you are more than welcome to.

As far as your character, i would like the other Administrator to take a look before i make a decision, your character is unique however and very interesting. I for one would probably approve but it feels like you want to be a Doctor but are hesitant to be so if you would like to be any one of those Doctors i have stated then you are more than welcome to redo your character application.

And yeah, a bit hesitant, but for other reasons, too. I used to love roleplaying as the Doctor, and other canons in different fandoms, but I found it to be...limiting. It seems to be a good canon, you must not only be a good roleplayer, but stay in character, something I find is not quite as fun as having a little of freedom with it. With Theta here, his personality can be different, the way he reacts to situations, ect., while still having that childish innocence+timelordy knowledge that comes with the Doctor.

That, and I designed a Type 57 TARDIS, rooms, console, inner mechanics and all, and I felt that it'd be fun to stick it somewhere rather than just in my head and a few notebooks.

Personally, I love the idea. We've had Human metacrisis Doctor on here before, well the old site, but still the same I suppose. Anyway, as long as Ten is fine with it, I am too.
I feel the same way you do with cannon characters, I would love to be one, I know them well enough anyway, but I wouldn't be able to portray them the way I would like to, so I resorted to creating my own characters.
I approve of this, Just wait for Ten to give the ok before you start.
