What it takes to catch a thief

It was a sunny normal day in London. Well, it was. “Stop! Thief!” A cop yelled, just as a figure all dressed in black ran through the streets, easily making her way through the dense crowd. Slowly, she started to change. First, the hoodie went down, then her gloves were in her pockets, then she threw the things in her backpack, taking some large glasses and putting them on, fixing her hair in a ponytail and walking nonchalant through the streets, just like any other normal human. Her eyes were trained on the cops and she smirked “Suckers” She mumbled, chuckling.
 

After many trips, first the orphanage, then the canteen, and many other places, her bag once full remained empty, the only thing that was there being her hoodie and gloves. She brushed some curls out of her face and stopped suddenly “I know you’ve been following me since morning, you might as well stop” She raised an eyebrow turning around to look at the shadowed figure.

Siren looked at the girl before her from the shadows of her hood. For some reason, she drew no attention from any others, despite her odd appearance. The only part of her visible is blue hair coming out of the hood, as the bottom half of Siren's face is concealed by her silver mask. "I'll skip the sentence that'll save my pride and get to the point." She started walking towards Angelica. "I want you to come with me."

Angelica turned around to the strange woman, and crossed her arms "And I should be intimidated? No thank you" She rolled her eyes, fixing her bag and turning around again "I'm not a mercenary, I'm a freelancer...sort of...plus it's late. I need to go home" She started walking towards the train, hands in pockets "Though it was nice meeting you, stalking girl" She smirked

"I'm not trying to be intimidating." She lengthens her strides and grabs Angelica's arm with a metal encased hand. "This a sad attempt at... Helpful."

Myra listens to two people talk not but five feet away hidden under her blue hood with one ear bud in. She watches as one tries to walk off but then the other grabs her arm so Myra walks over to them. "Excuse me but I don't think she wants to go with you." Myra says to the blue haired girl.

Angelica eyed the women, then to the first one's hand. That must've been painful. Her blue eyes met the woman's "I don't need your help. I'm perfectly fine. And since you're not the police, I think I'll go" She turned to the brown-haired woman "Don't worry. Everything's alright" She smiled and took her hand from the blue-haired girl's hands, and backed away from them "Have a good night"

Siren looks between the two. "Let me explain myself, don't deny me enforce I've had a chance to explain." She then looks to Myra. "How did you- is this broken again?" Siren looks at the gauntlet on her arm, expression unknown.

"How'd I what?" Myra says as she looks at the woman in front of her. "And ok just making sure your fine. Just trying to make sure no aliens are trying to attack people, kind of my job since I work for Torchwood." She says to the girl that had been grabbed an then looks at the woman.

Angelica rolled her eyes. Well at least they weren't after her. She stuffed her hands in her pockets, fixing the false glasses she usually wore "Ah alright then I'll let you to to...fix your problem. I'll just go" She shot the women a smile, and turned around. 

But, when she was trying to get away, a blinding light surrounded them and the ground beneath their foot shook. She barely had time to catch on a light post "What the bloody hell was that?" She exclaimed, looking back at the two women to see if they were alright

By the time Angelica had asked her question, Siren was already walking back down the street in long, purposeful strides. There was too much happening at once here to be ignored.

Sonya turned the corner of a building, her eyes locked on her journal as she walked along only to smack headlong into Siren and fell back onto the sidewalk, her book flying out of her hands and landing flat on the ground beside her. "Agh!" She groaned to herself, rubbing her lower back while glancing over at the woman and getting to her feet. "Sorry 'Bout that. I keep forgetting I'm in a busy town and I can't expect to walk around without paying attention here." She said sheepishly, her eyes automatically darting around the area before looking back over at her. "You alright?"

Myra watched as another woman ran into the blue haired woman. Myra began to snicker but quickly stopped to help.

Angelica rolled her eyes, passing the brown-haired girl and jogging to catch up with the blue-haired one "Oi! Stalker girl!C'me back here!" She exclaimed. When she finally caught up with her, she helped her on her feet, but then crossed her arms "Alright then, talk. What the hell was that light? And why is there an earthquake just on a street?" She raised an eyebrow, tapping her foot

(Reacting in the order of the poss here.) Siren looked at Sonya, and held back a feral growl. The Doctor had lied. "I'm...fine." She stood with the help of Angelica and pushed her revolver back into we cloak. Falling had made it start to come out. "I don't know what that tremor was, but I can find out. The light.. Well, none of your concern. It's beyond a human as young as you." Siren had said this while watching Sonya, an edge to her voice the entire time.

Sonya's eyebrows shot up in surprise at the woman's sudden anger at her, holding her hands up in front of her in a peaceful gesture she took a step back. "Look, I don't know what I did to you, but honestly being so angry at someone for bumping into you? That's hardly kind, and I really don't know what your going on about either." She added sharply, her eyes darting to the other woman that had joined them before going back to the angry one's face curiously. "But whatever that was, it wasn't exactly being welcoming either. Can't you feel that? The pressure in the air? My suggestion would be to walk as fast as you can in the opposite direction." Stooping down, she scooped up the journal from the ground and brushed the dust off of it's cover gently before shoving it into her knapsack on her shoulders and propping her fists on her hips. "I apologized for running into you, the least you can say is if you forgive me or not."

(Sorry my Internet has been messing up.) Myra had followed the blue haired girl and had saw the whole thing and she decided to help when she saw it happen.

Angelica rolled her eyes, huffing. It seemed the others forgot about her. Oh well. Shrugging, she started to walk around. A shiny thing caught her eye, and her feet carried her towards it. Taking one of her gloves from the backpack, she took the 'shiny thing', her sharp eyes inspecting it. It looked like a...golden shard of glass "Interesting" She hummed, raising it so the lamp post's light would shine on it.

"I forgive you for running into me." She says to Sonya, before turning to see Angelica's discovery. "That's... Hm." She turned again, this time not stopping and getting a look at her surroundings.

sonya shook her head with a sigh, her hands shifting the straps of her knapsack to a better position on her shoulders. "Anyway... I think I`ll just be on my way since you lot seem to be preoccupied with shiny things and being rude."   casting another glance at the group of odd women, she laughed slightly before turning around and beginning to walk away.

When Angelica raised the shard of glass up to the lamp post, the same light that not only minutes ago blinded all of them now blinded only Angelica. She dropped the shard, and let out a chain of curses that would make even a biker looked down uncomfortable.

Finally recovering, Angelica looked around blinking quickly "Bloody hell" She muttered rubbing her eyes "I can see stars" She muttered with a grimace, rubbing furiously at her eyes "I'll say this with the possibility of repeating myself but...What the heck was that!"
