| The year was 1888. Murders had occurred in the Whitechapel district of London. Letters had been sent to the Scotland Yard, from the murderer. The media branded him the name... Jack The Ripper. The authorities were baffled. There was no trace of the murderer at every crime scene. The chief of police sat in his office, frustrated at the lack of evidence. " Excuse me sir, someone is here to see you." His assistant said quietly. " Send them in, and he quick about it!" The chief said as his assistant scurried out of the office. After a few minutes, Oliver burst through the office doors, flashing his psychic paper. " Sherlock Holmes! Scotland Yard!" He exclaims excitedly. "I will absolutely not have this case taken by you imbeciles!" Yells the chief. After conversing for a moment, a terrifying shriek comes from outside, followed by a menacing laugh. |

| Darkness fell over the scene as police began to pour onto the scene with shocked faces and horrified voices as the woman lay dead and mangled on the cold, wet, rock filled road. "Get back!" Ordered the chief as he approached the scene with a pipe held loosely in the side of his mouth before he took it out, blew out a puff of smoke, then placed it nonchalantly back in, "I want this set up as fast as we can. Make sure that bloke from Scotland Yard is shown the way out, i want this case to be solved not joshed around for months. I want this guy caught and caught right away!!". The officers around him nodded obediently and rushed back to the station to gather the proper materials needed for the crime scene to be set up. Within minutes the crime scene was placed around the dead body of the woman and the chief stood firmly beside on of his lieutenants as he took notes and the chief scrutinized them carefully.
Running, faster and faster paced The Doctor's legs as they sped up to catch the dark figure in front of him. His white converse all stars rushed through the various puddles and over the rocky road beneath him as he chased down the figure up until cornering it in an alley. "Now" The Doctor whispered as he turned into the alley way that the dark figure had spun into a moment before, "Let's see what you are..Jack". Flipping out his sonic screwdriver, he activated it to give him some light then proceeded further into the pitch dark alley with an eyebrow raised. | |

| A tall, pale creature stood in the alley. It's long, sharp claws fresh with blood. Oliver had heard footsteps in a nearby alley, and rushed toward it. "Oi! Where are you going?!" Yelled the chief as Oli rushed off. He had an idea of what could have caused this murder, and why it had escaped the police for so long. As Oli ran into the alley, he saw a man, staring at this monster. " Careful!" He yelled. It startled the creature, and it took off running past both the man and Oliver at what seemed the speed of light. " Consider yourself lucky, that was a skinwalker. It could've killed you in an instant if you made any sudden movement." He explains. The Skinwalkers were an alien race that took on the form of the main species of the planet they invaded, but they became extinct millions of years ago. So why was one here? In 1888 London of all places? |

| The Doctor gazed at the creature as it hurtled over the fence of one building, climbed up its side and bolted out of view within what had to have been a few seconds flat. "Blimey. Skin walker you say?" The Doctor replied, tucking his sonic screwdriver into his suits chest pocket and running his hand through his hair with a sigh, "Skin walkers haven't been seen for millions of years..millions and millions. What's it doing here?" he asked rhetorically with a sniff at the end. Gazing over to the man that came to his aid, The Doctor extended out his hand, "Hello. Nice to meet you, i'm The Doctor" he said with his usual grin, "Thanks for the help and information. Maybe now i can track this thing down better, find out the mystery of Jack the Ripper that much faster". | |

| "One must have escaped their home planet." That was when he realized what this man had said. Oliver looked paralyzed, how could this man be his brother? Oli was sure his brother died in the war. " Hello brother." Oliver says. But they had no time to catch up. Every minute they wasted, another person could die. And since it could change it's form, this would be very hard, even with their combined knowledge. " Now then, shall we begin this hunt?" He asks with a grin. |

| The Doctor looked over to Oli with a returned grin, "Oh yes! Allons-y!" he proclaimed before turning on his heel and dashing down the still morass cobble streets of the city. Faint street lamps guided him through the empty alley ways and through corner shops as it illuminated just enough in front of him for him to see where he was going. "All we have to do is go to the next place Jack the Ripper kills..hopefully we can catch it before the last killing..after that there is no telling where it might be..or whom it might be" The Doctor yelled, calling back to Oli, still unbeknownst to his true biological connection and his knowledge of the creature. | |

| Oliver facepalmed and followed after his brother. " Same ol brother." He mumbled under his breath. " It's probably in a well populated area. Skin walkers are known to stay in a crowd... until it's ready to strike. That's when they find someone alone." He says. Oliver wondered how long until his brother realized who he was. " Anyway, let's go back to the crime scene and talk to the chief, tell him how to stop the killings, unless they are fixed points in time... but then again, time can be rewritten. If they are fixed points then we can't do anything...." Oliver rambled. " Let's go back then." He says finally as he sauntered away. |

| The Doctor glanced back at Oli as the sauntered back to the crime scene as he had done to so many of his companions, expecting them to follow after him and most of the time, they did. "Psychic paper!" The Doctor yelled to Oli, "Unless you've lost yours again like last time you can message me if you find anything. I think one genius is enough for old captain there" he joked with a smile before turning and continuing his run after the creature. In his mind he pondered the possible locations the creature could be right now by connecting them with the known murders of Jack the Ripper. The murders never had a pattern but always took place a night; the final two having taken place on the same night. If Oli could identify the woman killed than The Doctor could know where and who to look for, until then, he was chasing after a shadow. | |
