| ((Sonya, 10 return story. Limited to..guess who )) The stars outside were shinning brightly in the night sky, hanging, dangling above the heads of all planets. But there was a sorrow among-st them. A sorrow only they could understand...but the sorrow was soon engulfed by a sudden joy. A joy only coming upon a return...a return long awaited..the return..of the tenth..and of Sonya. The TARDIS hummed in the absence of it's controller, it's lights dimming frequently throughout the elapsed time, before coming slowly back on only to dim once more. There was a hallow sorrowfulness within the legendary vessel, it seemed as though it missed the presence of all those who had run madly around inside of it. But it was just a machine...just a machine..wasn't it? Or maybe it was something much more than that. Something intelligent..something living. The image of the first incarnation of The Doctor flashed before the TARDIS control console, projected solely by the consciousness of the TARDIS herself. There the incarnation stood, glaring down at the console, his hands gripping the edges of his coat before his eyes shot over to his left side. Suddenly, there was a burst of energy that penetrated him. With a thud he fell to the ground, and in a flash another face emerged, a grin slipping onto his face. Incarnation after incarnation, images of their finest hours flashed before their deaths overcame them until finally, the image of the tenth incarnation emerged. His face was curled up, clearly in agony, his body falling to the ramp floor as he yelled out in pain. The lights fell to a blood red as the TARDIS looked on to the pitiful image of the dying incarnation. Then, suddenly, the image flickered off as the doors of the TARDIS creaked open, the image of The Doctor entering could now be seen. His face turned back to Sonya as she entered in behind him, a grin displayed prominently, "I told you, i had no idea they wouldn't like the color blue. I mean, who doesn't like blue? I love...". His voice came to a stop as he turned to face the TARDIS console, his expression frozen in surprise and shock as he looked on to the red lighted interior, "Blue..." he mumbled, finishing what he had began to say earlier. Something was deeply wrong with the TARDIS, what? They would soon find out.... | |

| "Well you know, it would have been a bit better if you had remembered that wearing anything blue-like, including my eye color, thank you very much, would result in having the offending person tossed into prison for the night." Sonya complained, her tirade coming to an abrupt halt as she stopped behind the Doctor, her eyes taking in the odd color surrounding them. "Well... That's not good." She murmured quietly, striding forward and to the console, pulling the screen over and peering at the readings curiously. Just as she was about to announce what she saw, the lights suddenly flashed brightly and returned to their normal state, nearly blinding the Time Lady standing next to the controls.
"Bloody hell." Sonya swore quietly, rubbing at her eyes before peering with blurry vision at the Time Rotor in front of her with a raised eyebrow. "What was all that about, your time of the month, Lady?" Tearing her gaze from the machine in front of her, she looked over at the Doctor in utter confusion as a soft hum reached her ears, it sounded painful, whatever it was, something straining against an immense weight. Snapping her attention back to the screen, she began tapping in several commands into the keypad, eyes narrowed in concentration.
Then just as suddenly as they realized what was happening, it stopped. The sounds, the flickering lights, vanishing quickly to be replaced by the normal lights and sounds of the TARDIS they both knew so well. With her fingers frozen over top the keypad, Sonya cast another confused look around the room, slowly straightening back up and looking over at the Doctor once more. "Any idea what the hell that was about?"

| The Doctor snapped out of his gaze and promptly strode over to the side of his dear friend, and companion, Sonya. Glaring down at the scanner in front of her, "I don't know" he grumbled, flipping on his glasses as he bent over and pulled the scanner over to him, allowing him to read it in it's entirety, "Everything seems normal. Power levels fine. Gravity stabilizers good. Hand brake on. Wait..hang on..there is some odd activity in the central cortex of the TARDIS matrix..seems to be flowing at a rapidly throughout the center of the TARDIS". Sighing, he straightened himself out, leaning back as he placed his hands nonchalantly into his pockets then turning his attention over to Sonya, "Of all the places i've taken you..i've never taken you one place...never taken anyone really..not even Susan as been down there", his voice seemed to drift as he spoke but quickly he regained focus.
Shooting over to the edge of the control room, The Doctor took off his trench coat and slung it over the railing, "Won't need that" he told himself before gesturing Sonya to follow him, "Come on. Allons-y!" he exclaimed. Grabbing the sides of the spiral staircase, The Doctor propelled himself over three steps childishly, hitting the fourth step with a thud then jogging down. "These stairs lead to every place in this TARDIS..well..all except one" The Doctor called over his shoulder, already guessing/knowing Sonya was not far behind him, "But! Instead of taking the stairs..how about we take the elevator". Stopping, The Doctor turned and smirked, reaching inside of his suit to flip out his sonic screwdriver and activate it. Almost immediately beams of coral began to protrude out of the sides, all coming together to form a tube like support structure before a two person, cylinder sized elevator shot up and came to a hovering stop in front of them.
The doors of the elevator hissed open, allowing The Doctor to step through, and gesture for Sonya to follow him inside. The elevator was made out of glass apart from the top which was blue like the time rotor column and the buttons which glowed a bright blue like the sonic screwdriver. "Care the press the button?" The Doctor asked Sonya, a smile emerging on to his face, "On the way there i will answer the questions you have" he joked.

| "All this time we've been running up and down those blasted stairs, you never once mentioned an elevator." Sonya grumbled quietly, stepping in after him and pressing the button in front of her curiously, watching as the glass doors closed in front of them and the small compartment began to move. Turning to the Time Lord next to her, Sonya raised an eyebrow, her arms folded over her chest as she waited for an answer. "I mean honestly, even when I had my ankle broken on Xaxus, those games were pointless by the way, you still insisted on having me lean on you until we got to med bay." Narrowing her eyes slightly, Sonya huffed and leaned her back against the wall behind her, her cheerful tone dropping to one of worry as she continued talking. "What on earth could have caused the TARDIS to act like that though... I've never seen anything affect Lady like this."
Falling silent, she chewed on her lower lip in thought, going over anything that might have done this to the wonderful ship. It had obviously been distressing to cause her to do anything like that. Even when the Doctor vanished for a while, her Doctor, the one she knew so long ago, the thirteenth incarnation, she wasn't this upset. Sure her lights dimmed on occasion, and her humming was softer for a while, but never did she do that. Turning her attention back to the Doctor beside her, she tugged on his sleeve for attention. "You don't even know... Do you?"

| By the time Sonya had begun her ramble fixated on the appearance and presentation of the elevator, The Doctor had already mentally began to stray away from the conversation. Pondering deeply, he thought about all of the conditions he had seen the TARDIS in, near death, dead, sad, angry, all of them close but none of them truly matching what he saw when he burst through those doors just minutes before. Then he thought about a child, having a bad dream, something catching his imagination and thought process but just before he fell even deeper into that thought, the tug from Sonya sent him jolting back into reality.
With a sniff, he snapped out of his daze and shook his head, "I don't know.." he mumbled, rubbing the back of his head, "I mean..the only thing i can think of is..is like when a child has a nightmare.." he paused, "And they don't know they're dreaming..". The doors of the elevator hissed open and The Doctor dashed out, not even taking in the scenery around him. The coral branched together, forming a tree before them, a tree that loomed over in it's gargantuan size. In the center shinned a blue light, calling out to them as they stepped out. Looking up at the coral, one could see just how far up it went. Levels upon levels of the TARDIS, branched and held together by the coral structure until finally coming to an end at the top three levels. The control room being level one.
Running inside, The Doctor halted once in front of the light, around it was like a control console, but one far more intricate and advanced than the one that controlled the flight up at the top level. This control console had far superior technology, something only seen on a type 70 or maybe even newer. Looking over the controls, The Doctor sniffed, "Everything seems fine" he mumbled, mostly to himself before peering upwards; the center of the coral tree was hollowed out, giving space for seemingly endless hallways and balcony's, all working around a sun like star in the center. "The eye is stable" The Doctor concluded, moving his attention back to the console just as the image of himself, dashing by the hallway in front of him, passed by proclaiming, "Run!!!".

| Sonya gaped at the tree in front of them, for once at a loss for words as she walked behind the Doctor on numb legs. She had never seen this part of the ship before, much less even guessed at it being there. Stopping beside him, she flicked her eyes over the controls eagerly, her fingers just itching to touch and learn how they worked. Just as she turned her head to tell the Doctor that she was about to, she caught a flicker of movement out of the corner of her eye followed by a very familiar voice yelling for someone to run.
Without casting another glance at her friend, she took off after the figure, a frown on her face as she turned the corner into the hallway just in time to see the back of his coat wave out from another corner off to the right and vanish once more. "Come on!" She yelled, taking off again without waiting for the Doctor as she darted after his, what? Clone, image, hologram? Narrowing her eyes, she picked up the pace, stretching her legs out as far as they would go as she struggled to catch up with whatever it was she chased.
Reaching the hallway up ahead, she looked in either direction before finally spotting him off to the left, standing stock-still in the middle of the walkway, staring at something in front of him. Biting down on her lip, she looked back down the way she came from then slowly strode over to the image of the Doctor, standing behind him once she got close enough. "Doctor..?"

| The Doctor, focused on the control console in front of him, did not notice Sonya dashing after his hologram, it wasn't until he peered up to ask her a question that he finally noticed her absence. "Sonya?" He asked in a hissing tone before jetting his attention to hallway a few feet in front of him, "Sonya!!!" he called out, bolting down the hallway with a quick turn of his heel. It wasn't long before he reached Sonya, who had her eyes fixed on the other Doctor. Silently, The Doctor approached Sonya from behind and quickly grabbed her, pulling her back just as the hologram flickered and the image showed him wearing a different colored suit, "Whoever you are you need to get back into that ship and fly off!!! Tell them you saw the library and lived, they won't believe you" the hologram proclaimed, pointing over to Sonya and the true Doctor as his eyes danced over several shadowed out holograms standing before him.
"Don't touch them.." The Doctor warned Sonya, releasing his grasp on her arm before moving back and up the hallway he had just ran down, "Come on. Images from our past showing up inside of the TARDIS is never a good thing..nor is it to give them attention. One moment you could be looking at it, the next touching it then wham! Next thing you know you're sent back in time, stuck in an infinite temporal loop".

| Nodding quietly, Sonya followed the Doctor back the way they had came from, a frown settling on her face as she watched the images play out then fade away. "I don't know anything powerful enough to do this to the TARDIS, Doctor." She finally said in a soft undertone, her head turning to look at him with plain confusion on her face. She still felt mentally younger than she should be, and quite possibly could be considering how often she came up with nothing to explain a situation. A sigh escaped her as they walked back into the room with a large tree and even more interesting control panel that finally distracted her from her thoughts.
Wandering over to them, Sonya slowly walked along the controls, a hand trailing along behind her as she traced the outlines with a wistful smile in place. "How could anything get inside the TARDIS in the first place? Your shielding won't allow for projections or anything to slip in like that. Even with the doors open, nothing could slip in with us." Looking over at the Doctor, she frowned, finally coming to a stop and leaning her back against the console behind her so she could face the Time Lord, her eyes flickering around the room, searching for another hologram or memory to resurface. Gasping suddenly, she looked over at him again, her eyes widening. "You said 'our memories', what made you say 'our memories' when all we've seen is you running around?"

| "It's coming from inside of the TARDIS itself" The Doctor quickly replied, glancing back over to Sonya as he approached the control console, his attention almost immediately shifting over to it, "The TARDIS is projecting the images...something is causing it but i don't know what". He paused. Turning around, a sudden shock about him as he looked at Sonya, "I've known you for many many years Sonya. Future..past..we've always been intertwined..so i know a Sonya when i see one" he began, his eyes moving slowly over to the image of a younger Sonya standing directly behind the current one. Then his eyes made their way back to Sonya, the Sonya he knew as the real one, "You just got shorter by three inches.." he commented, his mind picking up on the sudden height gain he had on Sonya now.
Something wasn't just projecting the past, it was creating it, pulling The Doctor and Sonya quickly back into their own pasts. But, completely unbeknownst to The Doctor, his sideburns began to become thinner, his extended out hair began to slowly recede. The closer they were to the holograms, the more they were affected by the shift of time polarity the TARDIS was currently going through. Suddenly, the younger Sonya reached out as if wanting to touch the older Sonya, her eyes daring The Doctor not to pull her back and out of harms way. Quickly, The Doctor grabbed Sonya and yanked her back, just in time as the hand from the younger Sonya missed her by inches, "We've got to get out of this room" The Doctor grumbled, already thinking over an idea to escape.

| Sonya shifted side to side on her feet, feeling a twinge of pain itching in her stomach as she stared around the room, finally allowing herself to see the images that played out around them. With each image came a memory, there was was when they were on that ship with the talking duck. She recognized that shirt she wore, in fact, she never could get it clean after that. Shaking her head sharply, she turned to look at the Doctor beside her, her mind working over several paths they could take before turning in a circle. "Best we can do is start running, I'm sure the TARDIS already knows what's going on and will do what she can to help us get back to the control room."
Reaching over, she grabbed the Doctor's hand and tugged on it slightly to get him moving, anything to get away from these images as they hovered and flickered in her line of view only to vanish and irritate her vision by being just on the edge of it. "Come on, Doctor, move it. Now." She hissed, irritation showing through as she pulled him along the corridor, carefully watching as a duel image of herself and the Time Lord next to her suddenly appeared, running beside each other as they dissapeared around a corner up ahead, leaving them behind. "You really need to get new shoes. Those were the same ones you were wearing back... Blimey, back to, what? A couple months before I melted..." Her voice trailed off as she came to a stop. "We're going backwards. Along our own timeline." She hissed out finally, understanding what happened as she watched another image of herself bolt down the hallway towards them.
Moving to the side carefully, she watched her image vanish behind a closed door and took a deep breath. The urge to look inside nearly too much as she turned and continued walking again, refusing to think of what might happen if they were to reach the very beginning of where they first met on common ground, in the labyrinth. They'd figure out how to stop it by then, they always figured out how to stop it, it wouldn't be long. All they needed to do was to reach the control room again without being sucked into their pasts.

| The Doctor rubbed the back of his head, his eyes darting over to the holographic images of themselves in previous times dash by them. If they were going back in time to their own time streams than it would explain certain things he was feeling and seeing in the appearance of Sonya. But it also gave him worry, worry that Sonya would find out that this incarnation went even further back in her time stream than she had ever known. "Yeah..well we've got a ways until it reaches the end" He mumbled, peering out of the corner, looking both ways then stepping out, "Come on. I may be able to stop it if i could just find out what caused it then i could go from there..". Thinking the situation over, The Doctor turned back to Sonya, "Get back to the main control room, see if there's anything there" he told her, "I need to get back to the core, see if i can dig up anything down there. Don't let those holograms touch you and don't look into their eyes! You'l be trapped forever in your own time stream".
After warning her firmly of the dangers, he knew she already knew, The Doctor spun around and raced back down the hallway, making his way to the core control room.

| Sonya stuck her tongue out at the Doctor's retreating back before turning in the other direction and heading off herself, her legs stretching out as she hurried towards what she hoped would be the control room eventually. Granted she knew the ship better than most others, she still liked to change the hallways and rooms around from time to time on them. Silently, Sonya pleaded with Lady as she jogged through the hallways to help arrange the paths so she'd end up where she wanted to be rather than some other room she never saw before.
Turning around a corner, she froze mid-stride, staring at the image in front of her with slight confusion. Another hologram, that was apparent from the flickering around the edges, but she didn't remember any situation where she might have been backed up against the wall staring at something in front of her that wasn't visible to the real Sonya. Frowning slightly, she studied the image in worry, she took a small step forward only to have the image in front of her waver then vanish before her eyes. Shaking her head slightly, Sonya focused back on what she was told to do and turned to continue jogging along. She'd worry about that later, for now she needed to find the control room.
Stopping at an intercetion of hallways, she shifted from foot to foot, trying to debate on where she should go before a sudden flicker of light caught her attention and caused her head to turn towards it. An image of her standing beside the Doctor, staring at nothing but obviously at ease as they observed something in front of them, both of their hands tucked away in their pockets before the light faded away leaving the hallway empty again. "What the hell is going on around here?" She snapped under her breath, turning to go in the opposite direction of where the holograms were only to end up in the very control room she had been searching for. Her delighted smile dropped away instantly at what she saw there. A doctor, not the one she was with now, but a familiar Doctor nonetheless stood in front of the console, hands leaning against it and staring at the controls in front of him. Leather jacket, buzzed hair and big ears in all of their glory.

| ((Oh lawd!! XDD))
The Doctor bolted down the hallways, running as fast as he possibly could before turning on his heel and spiraling into the next, his eyes immediately hitting a familiar back. His back. A back that he hadn't seen, or even had been in that form for so long now. A long brown hat sat curved on top of the man's head, filled with curly locks of hair. The edges of a colorful scarf hung dangling from the left side. The Doctor stood, frozen, his eyes wide with amazement and utter shock. Inside he knew it was only a hologram but, he couldn't help but stare as the hologram turned around, revealing the familiar face of his fourth incarnation. "Doctor" Fourth said, placing his hands nonchalantly into his pockets, "Doctor.." The Doctor replied, pushing back his frozen shock as he assessed the situation.
Quickly coming to grips with himself, The Doctor peered over to the control panel behind his past incarnation, turning them away from the eyes of the hologram. However, his mind could not stress the importance enough of seeing his past self, not just of himself and Sonya. "All these years and you simply center yourself around your image" Fourth commented, glaring at ten's attire, "I'm guessing i have become less intelligent as well" he huffed. The Doctor peered back to the hologram, "What?!" he exclaimed, walking up to it, "At least i don't hide myself under a scarf!", Fourth returned the widened eye gaze, "Says the man with the suit and bloody awful shoes!".

| ((Couldn't resist xD))
Hesitating for a moment, Sonya took a small step forward and cleared her throat, almost expecting the hologram to ignore her like the others. Well, except that one of her, but that was beside the point. Turning around, the Doctor studied her curiously for a moment then crossed his arms over his chest, eyebrow raised up with the signature expression he always wore when surprised by something but unwilling to show it. "What are you doing in here?" He finally asked her curiously, blue eyes taking in her appearance then settling on her face, a small frown tugging at the corners of his mouth.
The usual flare of irritation that normally rose when around this particular Doctor appeared again, making Sonya narrow her eyes slightly and plant her hands on her hips. "I ought to ask you the same question considering this isn't your TARDIS. This is your next incarnations. You're not even real! You're a hologram of some kind, the Doctor's past is running backwards in the TARDIS matrix or something..." Trailing off, Sonya let out a slight groan and leaned against the handrail behind her, a hand pressing to her temple tightly. "Bloody headache..."
The Hologram took a step forward, his intense gaze remaining fixed on her face. "Headache? Why would you have a headache, you are a headache." He announced with his usual cheer, only this time it pushed Sonya to near-violence as she debated on if slapping him would really affect a hologram. "Look, I wasn't asking for your advice. Just, go swan off somewhere, yeah? I have to do something in here and I can't go anywhere near you." She snapped, her patience reaching it's end as she shot a dark look at the Doctor in front of her. And as she stared at him, his image wavered slightly then vanished, leaving her alone in the control room with only her thoughts and a pounding in her head that reminded her vaguely of a jackhammer as she walked over to the controls.

| The Doctor rolled his eyes and spun around on his heel, his hands now placed into his pockets as he groaned and moved his attention back to his past incarnation, "I am you, you are me" he began, the tone of his voice quickly shifting to serious, "I can read your thoughts and you can read mine. The TARDIS is in a flux, bringing not only my past but Sonya's, my companion, past back as well. Now we both know what that can do to time. The longer we wait the more this time will be affected, i need to get to those controls behind you and do a full interior analysis..including the matrix". The Fourth Doctor placed his left hand ontop of his hat, peering back at the controls with a sigh before turning back to The Tenth Doctor, "Well for that we need two sonic screwdrivers won't we?" he asked rhetorically, a grin flashing on his face just as a grin synchronously made it's way onto ten's. "Come on!" Four proclaimed, flipping out his sonic screwdriver and spinning around to the control console, Ten proclaiming, "Allons-y!" at the same time as he raced to the other side with his sonic screwdriver.
"We need to send the analysis up to the main control room Doctor" Ten called across the controls to Four as the scanners began reading the overall report, "Already doing it Doctor" Four replied. The two Doctor's peered up to one another, once their eyes met they both immediately began to laugh, "We're quite good together Doctor" Ten commented, smirking as he walked over to Four, "Quite. I say this calls of a Jelly Baby", "Oh yes!". Pulling out a small white bag filled with Jelly Baby's, Four and Ten both popped one into their mouths before counting down from three synchronously with each other, speaking while chewing the candy. "3. 2. 1" Then both extended their sonic screwdrivers into the slots located on the control panel, sending a jolt of sonic wave energy to carry the report up through the biological circuits of the TARDIS where it reached the scanner in the main control room where Sonya was currently located.

| Flipping several switches, Sonya eyed the screen next to her with slight distrust when a loud beeping noise caught her attention. "Alright, what is it now? Black holes, imploding stars? Brain larvae?" She mumbled, already feeling tired after what had happened as she pulled the screen over to look at it curiously. Reports from the room the Doctor was in, internal scans of the ship along with systems checks done to minute detail. "Ah, clever man, Doctor." She said brightly, her fingers already tapping against the keypad in front of her, going through every bit of the information with a concentrated frown.
A figure peered out from behind the edge of the hallway, watching her with a scowl without Sonya's knowing. Hands clenched slightly, they looked over their shoulder quickly then began to disappear down the hallway, a faint hand trailing along the wall next to her until she reached a familiar door. The Time Lady's room, it had to be it... Without another glance back, the figure vanished through the door with a soft laugh left to echo in the hallway behind it.

| The two Doctors enjoyed themselves in a synchronized laugh before reality struck them both and the fourth turned his attention fully over to ten, "I suppose i must be going then" he started, glancing down at the controls with a smirk, "I can leave happy knowing one day, i'll be you Doctor". With a tip of his hat, which the tenth responded with a two fingered salute, the fourth incarnation disappeared, fading off into the past, but unbeknownst to The Doctor at the time, so was bits of the TARDIS. Objects collected by The Doctor on his travels were quickly disappearing, and he himself was experiencing slight changes in his physical form. His face was now much younger, a youthful glow now about it, one which had not shown sense his first years after regenerating. A change that The Doctor finally noticed as he peered back to the controls and saw himself in the reflection of one of the scanners.
With eyes shooting widely open, The Doctor spun on his heels and dashed out of the core control room, jetting to the edge of the level where he summoned the elevator with the snap of his fingers. "Come on, come on, come on" He grumbled, waiting impatiently for the arrival of the elevator, tapping his feet as he waited, until it finally appeared before him and beckoned him in as the doors hissed open. Thrusting his thumb on the control room button, The Doctor used his other hand to reach in and flip out his sonic screwdriver, which he used to speed up the elevator to where it roared, bursting up the levels. Within five seconds, it appeared before the staircase, which lead to the main control room, and The Doctor dashed out, bursting up the steps with ease and lighting fast speed. "Sonya, find anything?" He called out as he entered the main control room, tucking his sonic screwdriver back into his suit breast pocket and rushing over to her side.

| "Found some interesting things actually, your ninth incarnation was here, had a bit of a chat with him." Sonya mumbled, her eyes not moving an inch from the screen in front of her as she continued taking in the information as quickly as she could, trying to ignore the painfully apparent youthful appearance on the Doctor's face as she caught sight of his reflection. "I don't think it's just the TARDIS... Something's pulling us along with whatever is going on too. Your not the only one with changes." Turning her head to look over at him, she gestured to her now-blue eyes with a frown. "Last I looked, these were still gold."
Turning back to the screen, she sucked in a breath and leaned in closer. "There, see that? It's a fluxuation in the power, like something's draining it bit by bit." She murmured, straightening back up and rubbing a hand over her eyes before casting a look around the control room, suddenly realizing they weren't alone anymore. "Ah, we have company again, Doctor." Sonya muttered, her eyes locking onto a familiar face across from her, blue eyes, red hair and a manic grin. "What are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here? You should be gone already." Her copy stated simply, her eyes moving over to look at the Doctor curiously before back to Sonya's face again. "With all of this, you should be feeling drained, it's your life being rewound after all. Not to a very pretty end either, I might add. Should start running if you ask me, then again, you never ask me for any opinion at all." Sonya scowled at the double then turned back to the screen, ignoring her once more as she wandered around the console and stood behind the screen, watching the two of them with quiet amusement. "You don't have long you know. It'll get in here."

| The Doctor glared and stared down the previous incarnation of Sonya before slowly, he too, turned away from her and shifted his attention to the console, a shot of pain rushing through him as he did so, "You've got a few hours" he started, glancing over to her, "As time rewinds itself it will just jerk you back into your previous incarnations...but i can't do the same". Pausing, he placed his left hand onto his stomach, trying to force back the prominent sign of pain on his face as it cringed, "I am cut off from all of my past incarnations..every past Doctor is the same. When...when we were brought back we were cut off from our time lines...and forced to live on. Live on without regeneration. I can't regenerate Sonya..i'll just die..it's the only way i can..other wise i will live forever. That's the curse placed upon us when we returned...the curse of The Doctor".
Fighting back another roar of pain, The Doctor bent over slightly then looked back up to Sonya, "Don't worry about me. I have ten minutes...the TARDIS..the TARDIS..it needs power. Something that can force it out of the vortex before..it reaches the end of our time streams and it's own". Suddenly, The Doctor jerked back in an out burst of pain, falling down to the floor with a thud before crawling over to the railing and using it to prop himself up. Breathing heavily, he reached in to his suit's breast pocket, "This is the only thing that can get into the TARDIS core matrix..open it..and initiate..ini...", before he could finish his sentence, The Doctor passed out, letting the screwdriver and his hand fall to the floor beside him.
Time was running out, every second was acting as a year, every minute five years, the more and more they waited, the more of themselves they would lose. Even the hue of the TARDIS began to fade to green as it had been during the early time of the tenth incarnations life meanwhile, his mind was fighting it's own battle. The battle of memories. Slowly his memory began to fade, falling back to the times of Donna, of Martha and finally, Rose. The image of Sonya was quickly fading, but only because The Doctor was fighting to keep it alive, otherwise it would be gone just like the memories of his adventures post regeneration.

| "Wonderful, pass out before you can tell me what it is you want." Sonya snapped, irritation showing through as she passed a hand through her much-longer hair in frustration, staring at her friend as he lay there. "Right, open the TARDIS matrix, and... Oh. It needs a jump start. Yea... I could re-route the energy from other rooms into the matrix, give her a little boost." Sonya murmured, already tapping in commands into the controls in front of her, working frantically as she deleted the rooms one by one and sent the extra energy into the matrix, trying to work as fast as she could before having to open it up.
"Right..." Sonya sighed, a hand reaching up to tug on a strand of her hair in thought, something she hasn't done in many years actually, as she stared at the screen in thought. "Open the Matrix, boost the signal and get her to jerk away from the rewind... But there isn't really that much power in her to do that, Doctor. What on earth were you talking about." She snapped, shooting a sharp look over at him laying there, a pained expression crossing his face even as she watched him. "Right..." Leaning over, she scooped up the Sonic he dropped onto the floor, a hand passing over his burning face in comfort before turning back around and facing the console. "Open the Matrix, easier said than done."
"You won't be able to do it, you know. The TARDIS doesn't have enough power." Sonya's back stiffened at the voice before she continued fiddling with the Doctor's sonic, searching for the right setting. "I have to try. He won't last much longer and you know it." She snapped without looking over her shoulder. "Oh yes, poor Doctor. A man that everyone believes they love, someone they think they know better than anyone else. Why should you care? He didn't even bother to help you as a child." Sonya snorted slightly, completely ignoring her other self as she walked around into her view, watching as she turned the Sonic around in her hands frantically with amusement. "Why do you even care?"
Finally a small tingle brushed against her fingers, alerting Sonya that she found the setting she had been looking for, causing a smile to flash across her face when she finally looked into her counterpart's eyes. "Because I can. No other reason than that. Now if you don't mind, I have a Matrix to open." She snapped, ignoring the slight widening of eyes on her mirrors face as she turned to face the console, holding the Sonic towards it and activating it. With a small hiss, a portion of it opened, streaming a bright light into the room as she backed up and covered her eyes. "Come on girl, you need to shake this off, he's dying and you know it." She murmured quietly, listening to the soft singing in her head as she braced herself against the railing behind her.
"What do you mean you don't have enough energy! I just gave you everything you had plus your reserves!" She cried in frustration as she screwed her eyes shut tighter, a small headache beginning to pound in her temples as the singing changed pitch in her head. "You need... Extra, it's too strong... Right, right." She murmured, a small sigh of defeat escaping her as she slowly pushed herself away from the railing and stumbling towards the light, her hands reaching out to brace themselves against the edge of the console in front of where it had opened. "Well... Be ready to run girl." Sonya whispered softly, her eyes squeezing slightly in concentration before a small cloud of light began to rise from her body, making her hair hover slightly around her narrow face. "Take what I give, and use it for something practical, yeah?"
With a choked laugh, she leaned her head back and stared at the ceiling above her, the light beginning to blur the lines around her as the first small spasm of pain shook her frame. Then, with a burst of her own light, she let out a loud cry, her arms flinging out as she forced her regeneration, the light flowing from her body as it changed changed it's direction and drifted into the matrix of the TARDIS, causing the entire ship to jolt sharply and begin shaking violently, sending Sonya toppling to the floor as the last of the light faded from her body.
The figure stared at the new face of the Time Lady, a look of loathing crossing hers as her eyes drifted over to the Doctor's now-peaceful face. Without a word, the figure turned and walked through the TARDIS doors, vanishing from sight once more.

| Just as the energy from Sonya's, forced, regeneration poured into the TARDIS matrix, the rewound time line reached the edge, the TARDIS herself nearly falling over it before being yanked back by the sudden surge of power. However, something was grabbed with it, something The Doctor failed to notice as he stood up, lighting touching the side of his head as he groaned. On the other side of the TARDIS, the image of the 10th incarnation walking over to the unconscious body of a young girl. An image, The Doctor didn't see as he flew to the side of the newly regenerated form of Sonya, studying her new looks with a smirk, "You did it..." he mumbled, glancing back over his shoulder to the console, "Always knew you-". Before he could finish his sentence, finally The Doctor caught the sight of himself, a younger version of himself, a version he had not seen or been in a long time.
Slowly, The Doctor stood up and walked over to the hologram, watching it from a distance as it peered down to the body of the girl and knelt down to it. The hologram Doctor studied the girl before lifting her up and began to walk. Though the hologram did not cover any ground inside of the TARDIS, and in reality, the hologram did cover ground in its time as buildings could be seen slowly moving past the hologram as it continued to walk. Finally it stopped, kneeling down at the edge of a door where it set the young girl down, yanking out a piece of paper and pen afterwards and wrote one word. Folding the paper, the hologram Doctor set it down on the girl and smiled, "They will take care of you...until i find you or..you find me. They always said i was the wise man.." the hologram chuckled, as did the real Doctor as he watched, "But you were always wiser than me...after all..your name does mean wise".
Nodding, the hologram Doctor turned and rang the doorbell then dashed away completely mad as the door behind the young girl opened, revealing a man and a woman, each looking at the girl then glancing around. "What's that paper?" The woman asked, in a way ordering the man to read what it said, and as he did, he mumbled the word that was written, "Sonya...". The couple looked back down to the young girl with baffled expressions before the hologram wavered then finally disappeared, leaving the familiar hum of the TARDIS to echo throughout it's interior. The TARDIS had come back to reality, and was, just in the nick of time, pulled out of the rewinding time vortex. Everything seemed to fall back to normal in the seconds that preceded the hologram, but nothing was ever normal, especially with these two inside of the same TARDIS.

| Jerking upright suddenly, Sonya cast a quick look around the control room, blue eyes wild as she stared around her in surprise and shock. "Wh... What?" She grumbled softly, a hand going to her head quickly as she clambered to her feet, swaying slightly once she stood upright. "Oh, regeneration. Right." Trailing a hand along her hair, she made a face at the length before reaching up to her face and tracing it lightly with her fingers. Completely ignoring the Doctor, she stalked over to the screen and pulled it around so she could stare at herself with a frown set firmly on her features.
"Well then... Would you look at that. I'm nearly as tall as you now." Sonya finally said, straightening back up and glancing over at her friend, a narrow eyebrow raising up slightly as she took in the sudden change in view. Cracking a smile, she ran her tongue over her teeth and hissed slightly. "I will never get used to this. I swear, look at these things, they're like daggers." Turning away from him again, she began fiddling with the controls in front of her with practiced ease. "Right then, where to next? Still missing something here, ever figure out what it was that caught us? Because I have a fair idea of what it might have been, not going to say anything though because it really shouldn't be possible at all."
Pausing, Sonya stopped and stared down at the console, her hands resting on the edge of it as she filtered through her thoughts and fragmented memories of what she saw. What happened when she opened the matrix and offered her own regeneration energy into the TARDIS. "Doctor, something happened. I saw things, things I shouldn't have seen and now I'm not even sure what's reality right now. The TARDIS. She was inside my head... More than she usually is, it's like she moved there from the machine... I still feel her, like I can reach out and touch her even now."

| The Doctor turned slowly around, taking in the new appearance once more of the new Sonya, blue eyes and all, his head down slightly before he raised it up and released a sniff as he put his hands into his pockets, "Don't know" he mumbled a reply he glanced down at the controls and flipped a nearby switch, "Could have been anything. Sometimes..it's best not to know". Peering over to her, he listened to her explanation of her visions and newly reinforced connection to the TARDIS and her matrix, "It's the connection between the TARDIS and her pilot. All TARDIS's have this ability..well...the older models before Rassilon restructured them for battle just before the Time War. Her and I have the same one..but when you opened up the matrix and fed everything about you into her, you fused with her conscious".
Pausing, The Doctor looked back down to the TARDIS, "The past is the most dangerous parts of time..not because of what is there..but because of how much can be changed and how much it affects time around it" he started again, glancing back up to Sonya, "Why do you think i run? Not because i'm scared..far from it actually" he chuckled, "I don't know..but it's best to just take what those holograms said and toss them out and run away from the thought of it".

| "Right, toss aside things that were shown to us, from our pasts. Doctor, they wouldn't have said anything if it wasn't true in some form." Sonya scoffed, her arms folding over her chest as she scuffed a shoe against the grating she stood on in frustration. "Honestly, I don't get why anyone sees things they don't like or understand, then they say to just ignore it, move on. Your no better than a normal human, your a Time Lord for Rassilon's sake, act like it!" Letting out a low gasp, she clapped a hand over her mouth and stared at the Doctor with wide eyes. "Blimey, I don't even know where that came from. It's like there's no stop between my thoughts and my mouth anymore."
Dropping her hand back down, Sonya twisted her mouth to the side in thought before shaking her head and lifting a shoulder into a half shrug. "Your probably right. Forget about it. Move on, keep going." Waving a hand in the air with her announcement, she turned back to the controls and began idly fiddling with them, her eyes flicking up to the Time Rotor from time to time with an odd expression flickering across them. "I've always heard her voice before, but now, it's like she's right next to me. How do you even get used to this? It's like being bonded all over again."

| The Doctor smirked, glancing up at the new form of Sonya as she posed yet another question; sighing, he moved over to her side and reached over her shoulder, flipping another switch as he replied, "Over eight hundred years of having people traveling with me, asking non stop questions, and random people approaching me with questions. Yeah..you tend to get used to it". Chuckling, he turned his attention once more to Sonya then glanced down, shaking his head, "Your regenerations have always been a bit off" he commented, pulling his attention back to the controls, "When i regenerate, everything about me changes..well..apart from my name and good looks..well..except for a few incarnations. But still! You, you just change your face. Same personality, same Sonya every time" he joked.
Try to pry his mind off the thought of the image brought forth before him which not only yanked up past emotions but also memories. Memories he thought would never come to rise again, but thinking back to his past friends, past cause and effect lines that eventually lead the truth to be revealed. Shaking his head, The Doctor paused, "Acting like a Time Lord has far more outlined parts of life than you know" he began, placing his hands on the edges of the console in front of him,"Being a Time Lord doesn't just mean knowing everything. Know when things are going to happen and what is supposed to happen. That's what Rassilon got wrong. It's knowing what you should do with the knowledge you have. What i do inside of this ship..what you see inside of here works off of that belief. When a Time Lord becomes too full of themselves there are consequences...locked inside of a never ending Time Lock....regeneration..".
