Age: 37
Gender: Male
Occupation: Pilot
Status: Wanted Criminal
::Appearance::Hair:Short black hair, consistently unkempt
Eyes:Hazel Eyes
Height:5’ 9”
Figure:Thin and wiry, the frame of a person who doesn’t eat nearly enough to sustain his body size. His face is rather gaunt and if you could see his stomach you could see the growing outline of ribs.
Other: On the left side of his face there is a distinctive scar pattern, as though some very inexperienced person tried to graft over his skin and made a mess of it. Otherwise the only other mark is on the underside of his right wrist. It looks like and L with thorny vines wrapped around it, the L is green while the vine is purple.
Clothing: Tey wears a lot of loose fitting and baggy clothes and is very rarely seen without his smugglers coat. It is a jacket that appears to bulk up his frame into the of fighter, it has golden clasps on the front and is the colour of tanned leather. it also has a large hood which Tey can use to almost completely conceal his face, making for the perfect place to hide.
::Info::Family: Tey is a child of the house Telios, he is the son of Kahler-Lif[Father] and Kahler-Mar[Mother], he has two siblings, Kahler-Lit[Older-Brother] and Kahler-Orv[Younger-Sister]. His parents and sister died in the Centari Wars. His brother is now a member of the High Kahler Council, and is the authority behind the Kahler-Restoration Program.
During the Centari Wars Tey had a relationship with a Centari woman called Gaelle. Before the Cybers destroyed the Centari homeworld she had informed him that she was with child... but since the end of the war he has had no further contact with her.
Personality:Tey has it within him to be a very warm and loving person, he wants people to feel safe and at ease when he is around, but he himself never does. Tey doesn't trust anyone and will refuse to allow people to get close to him. His kindness is something he puts on to make others feel better, and to mask the deep hurt he has within him. There are certain things that will set Tey off and elicit a cruel and angry demeanor, mostly it is people who try to step on those weaker than them, but he also has a special place for members of the Kahler and any upper class people. The anger and sadness within him can also be manipulated, usually to a darker end, as often Tey will believe that some horrible thing must be done to achieve a positive end. Finally Tey has dealt with the lowest depths of depression, he has considered ending it all, but has long since realized he is too much of a coward to actually do it. Now he just carries his pain, functioning once again, but still feeling its burden.

Dream:To one day make amends for the death of his sister and to one day be free of his Kahler Pursuers.
::History::Kahler-Tey was brought up under the house Telios in the city of Tabla. His parents were good enough people, but they valued status and achievement above all else. Their eldest Child, Kahler-Lif, was the pride of his parents eyes, he was considered the brightest of the Telios sect and had been accepted into the political program in the planet’s capital city of Soares. Kahler-Tey was never so blessed with his parents affections, he had not shown the aptitude of his brother, instead of a knowledge of books and facts Tey had been intrigued by ships and electronics. His parents tried to keep him away from the space stations and the pilots that used Tabla as an intergalactic stopping post, but Tey would just sneak out and go to explore.
It was when Tey turned 15 that he began to care about family once more. His younger sister, Kahler-Orv was born, and to all the world it seemed his parents had become devoted to this new child, but the truth was far different. His parent’s had long since decided that their younger children would not give them the prestige that Lif was providing, and so they began to leave their daughter and teenage son with babysitters and monitors for longer and longer periods, as they went to visit Lif in Soares, and eventually they just didn’t come back.
All throughout this time Tey had seen what his parent’s were doing, how it seemed to be tearing up his sister even though she could not speak, and it saddened him. Tey began to try and act as a father figure to his sister, taking care of her when the babysitters weren’t looking, out right forcing them to quit if Tey could convince them he was more trouble than he was worth, (they always left but within a day another would arrive to take their place) and when his sister was old enough, he would take her to the spaceports were he had finally felt at home, trying to spark her interests in a world away from the parents who had abandoned them.
This life continued until Tey turned 18 and could care for his sister without the minders, most of the Telios had joined his parents in looking down on him and Orv, but Tey had long since stopped caring what any of the Kahler thought of him. It was on Orv’s 5th birthday that everything went so wrong. Tey had spent the actual day going through the proper 5th birthday motions for his sister. First was the usual holo card from Mum, Dad and Lif, apparently his borther was going to be elected head of their Sect come that Sunday, not that Tey could care. Then there was The Tests, a group of mental and physical programs that were supposed to tell parents how high their child would rise, Orv seemed to enjoy them and the doctor’s presented Tey with an envelope containing her results, but he just threw it in the trash. All Tey wanted was for his sister to be happy.
The next day, with all the formalities out of the way, Tey took Orv down to the spaceport, where one of their old friends (A Chula by the name of Zyos) was stopped by and had promised Tey to provide a brilliant present for his sister. They never quite made it to Zyos’ ship, as they were attacked on the way. Three men yanked them into a darkened space between two ships and zapped Tey with some sort of immobilization device, the young Kahler could not move. The bandits then pulled out another device, a helmet shaped thing with wires and crystals running off the top, they tried to put it on Orv’s head, but the young girl just screamed. The bigger of the three punched her to shut the girl up, which just set Tey off. He broke through the immobilization field and began to savagely beat the first guy. He punched and punched until he could feel the bones in the man's nose break and push back into his face. The second fellow threw himself at the enraged youth and tried to hold him down, but Tey just snapped and bit like an animal, ripping a chunk from the mans arm before he managed to slide back and give the man a sizable boot into his chest. The man fell on his compatriot, giving Tey enough time to get up, grab Orv and run.
The two ran back to their home, never looking back and praying all the way. They hid inside for two days, hoping the men wouldn’t find them, praying they wouldn’t receive a knock on the door. Eventually they did, but it wasn’t the bandit who had found them, it was the police. They hauled Tey down to the station where they grilled him for 7 hours on what had happened. Tey tried to explain that he and Orv had been the ones attacked, but the police didn’t seem to believe him. Instead they seemed more interested in Orv, as they kept grilling him for information on how he had become her sole caretaker. Tey tried to explain, but it was readily apparent what these officers thought he had done, he wasn’t here to explain the assault, he was here to explain Orv’s kidnapping.
The officers eventually agreed to let him go, but they warned him that if they saw him near Orv again he would be arrested and thrown in jail. Tey ran back to his home, terrified that someone may have done something horrible to his sister in the extended time he had been gone, what he found made his blood turn to ice. His family had returned. Out the front of his building stood his Mother, Father and Lif, in front of a massive crowd as they held Orv tightly to them and spoke of their great loss. According to the story they were spinning, Tey had kidnapped Orv when she was young and had hidden her from them, trying to turn her into a degenerate like himself. But after all these years they had finally tracked her down, and they were now whole again.
Tey was furious, he wanted to storm the stage and speak the truth, but before he could muster the anger and resolve he saw the officers. Police were scattered everywhere in the crowd, just waiting for the chance to grab him and haul him away. So Tey left. He ran back to the spaceport and begged Zyos to take him along to wherever he was headed. Fortunately Zyos had lost his engineer not too long ago, and Tey’s Kahlen prowess with mechanics was enough to persuade the mighty Chulan to hire him.
With that Tey left his planet, his home and his sister behind. It hadn’t taken him long to work out why his parents had seemed to change their tone so fast, The Test results were still in his pocket and when he finally read them they seemed to suggest that Orv had the potential for genius level intellect. Somehow his parent’s had found out and, with stars in their eyes, swooped in to bask in the glory. Tey attempted to get letters to Orv so he could explain, but each courier he sent was simply turned away, the letters torn apart and sent back. After a year he just gave up, and accepted that his sister, the one he had raised from infancy, was lost to him.
Over the next three years Tey rose through the ranks of Zyos’ crew. He proved to be an adept mechanic, keeping the Chulan engines humming along and never suffering a breakdown. Eventually Zyos began to tutor Tey in the finer arts of piloting and the young Kahler began to do the odd job for his Chulan employer in a small jump ship. It continued like this for 5 year until Tey, finally with enough money, bought his own ship and began to work his own supply runs, never anything illegal mind you, just supplies and provisions to pioneer planets. It was during this time that he set up a stable base in what was known as The Market Station (The largest courier station in the known universe) and began a relationship with a Centari woman called Gaelle. This relationship was met with much contention by fellow Kahler that lived on the station, as the Kahler had been embroiled in a great and bloody war with the Centari for the last 4 years. But Tey hadn't considered himself Kahler for a long time, in fact the only reason he left his facial mark uncovered was so he would remember Orv.
The rest of the Centari war continued without affecting Tey. He saw that his brother had moved to a head of Special Defence back on Kahler, and in the 7th year of the war an AWOL Kahler soldier had informed him that his parents had died due to a Centari surprise attack on Andos. Tey did not weep, so far as he was concerned his parents died a long time ago. Tey continued to keep as far away from the war as he could, but in it’s ninth and final year it finally caught up with him. Gaelle had remained in contact with her home planet and had been informed that the Kahler were building organic weapons to end the war in a day. Normally there wouldn’t be much stock to this, but when she and Tey had been drinking with more AWOL soldiers, they had begun to talk of metal men and the horrible experiments going on it the ruins of Andos. Something about it set off her moral imperative and she began to rant to Tey about how they needed to stop this before innocent people died. Tey tried to agree, while keeping his head down as much as possible. But unlike previous rants where Gaelle had eventually settled back into their fringe lifestyle, this time she did not. It was a week later she came to him with the Centari plan.
The Centari council wanted to hire him to sneak a bomb into the Cybernetics laboratories and destroy them before these weapons could be set upon the Centari populus. Tey stood firmly for a while, refusing to be a party to such destruction, but that was when Gaelle told him of her pregnancy, and how they needed to stop these sort of things and protect their child from coming into a world where these monsters can exist. Tey was still torn, but something else eventually persuaded him. Apparently his brother was the one in charge of the plan, and to destroy it would shame him beyond compare.
It took another week to get everything into place, but eventually Tey was able to pilot a Kahler egg pod down to the base and, using stolen codes, unload 2 high grade explosives right into their fuel dumps. With the job done Tey activated emergency procedures and was transmatted back to his ship, and watched as a small crater was blown out of his old homeworld. For all to see that attack appeared to have worked, but then the Cyborgs began to land on Centuri. They had been too late, any important scientists and the creatures had already been enroute when Tey had blown up their base, it had all been for naught.
Tey returned to The Market Station, but Gaelle was nowhere to be found. Some of her friends said she had gone home to Centari, but Tey didn’t believe them. Within a week the war was over and his brother Lif’s face was plastered over every surface with the words ‘national hero’ glowing below it. Tey didn’t care, there was nothing this world could do to him anymore, with Gaelle gone he had given up on seeing happiness again. But the universe can be fickle, and just when Tey thought he was at his lowest, the rug was pulled out and he fell further.
Ten days after he had destroyed the Cybernetics base, Tey caught a list of the dead. He didn’t care who he had killed, all of them had been willing to commit atrocities against both the Centari and their own people, but he looked anyway. Scrolling through he noticed the names of a few scientists, no one he knew well, just famous names he'd seen as a boy. He peered on to the second list and continued his bored appraisal, but at the bottom of the list he stopped, his blood turned to ice. There at the end of the list, under the title of assistants/other staff sat a name Tey knew, a name he could never forget..
Kahler-Orv
Tey fell into a fit of depression, he locked himself away in his room for weeks, never eating, never leaving and never speaking. For what he had done he knew there was no going back. In this state he took a knife to his own face, cutting off the mark that was natural to his people. It was then that one of the stations systems noticed he was dying and Tey was rushed to the onboard med-facility. He was unconscious for 5 day before finally returning to the world. The doctor’s told him that the had needed to graft skin from his calf in order to cover the damage and that he would need to remain in the hospital for a week. In that week he spent time with a psychologist to try and stop him from trying to harm himself again, She managed to talk him out of hiding away in the dark, but Tey had not even begun to forgive himself.
The week came and went and Tey was all set to be released, but before he could go one of his AWOL-Kahler drinking buddies came to see him. He chained Tey to the bed and revealed he knew what Tey had done, that he had been a spy on station for the Kaler High Council and that members of the Kahler military were coming to take Tey away for execution (the guy seemed to like the sound of his own voice). Tey may have been weak, but the solider had not been the best at tying knots. As the boy turned his back for a moment Tey had slipped out and run.
Before he was just a drifter, a criminal lost to the wind. Now he was a mass murderer and a wanted fugitive, Tey would have to run.
