What goes up must come down...before going back up again

I'm walking down a dark corridor, there is barley any light. It all seems vagley familiar to me but i cant quite put my finger on it. Some thing had woken me up, a loud noise of sorts, and of course being the way i am i got out of the bed and went to find it. The corridor seemed to for ever and ever getting darker and darker. The noises getting louder and closer. I could now recognize what they were. Screams. Then suddenly they stopped and so did I. It was only when i heard the scratching and clawing of something coming towards me that My body turned and started to sprint back down the corridor, but i seemed be be getting no where. I started screaming out for help but what ever was chasing me kept getting closer and closer. I stumbled and i could scenes the thing leaping at me as I lay on the ground crying but then the thing stopped. I continue to lay there for a moment before suddenly turning around to see- BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ! I Shoot up in bed, brown hair flying in every which direction, and wildly looked around my orange bedroom turning off my buzzing alarm clock. It was just a dream Quinn, the same one you have every night. Pull you self together. I told my self. Ive always had that nightmare of our old family manor back in Scotland since I was a kid. It was normal now. I breathed a deep sigh of relief and just sat there head in hands for a few minutes before i looked over at my alarm clock witch read 7:30. I slowly slipped out of my bead and got ready for the day.Pulled on a pair of jeans, snow patrol t-shirt, and orange converse, while doing all the other normal morning stuff like brushing teeth and hair. 15 short minutes later i was grabbing my small back back purse and running down the stairs. I pocked my head inside the living room to see my gran staring at the telly. "Bye Gran I'm going into London today, but I promise to be home for supper." I tell her in my thick Scottish accent. She looks at me and gives me a small sleepy nod. I smile and sprint to the Bus stop to catch the next bus to London from Surrey. As the young Scott got on the bus she settled into a lone seat at the back and watched out the window.

The bus lurched forward as it sped off towards it's next stop; one of the woman on board the bus sighed and glanced around the bus then finally out of the window. Suddenly her face lit up with intrigue and life as her eyes rested upon the sight of The Doctor who stood waiting impatiently at the bus stop. His head looking upward, hands at his sides and his legs moving side to side, very jittery like. With another lurch, the bus came to a halting stop and The Doctor rushed on board, immediately flipping out his psychic paper and scanning it over the bus card. The bus driver nodded and the bus continued on as The Doctor made his way through the isle and glanced around at the seats, his body weaving in and out, making sure not to hit any of the people that hung out into the isle. Glancing up at The Doctor, the woman smiled, "In a hurry?" she asked rhetorically, already knowing the answer, "Yeah, i sort of am." The Doctor replied, taking one last glance around at the other available seats, including the one next to Quinn before sitting down next to the woman with a sigh, "Not used to taking human transportation. Going to have to get used to it i suppose" he mumbled.

Quinn hadnt been paying attention to anything until the bus came to a jerking halt almost throwing her against the sat in front of her. "bloddy heel," she mutterd as she sat back in her set. she say the jittery man climb on to the bus and scan a peice of paper. from where she was it appeared blank. she blinked and staired at him curiosly as made his way to one of the empty seats. she kept stairing at him, not even realizing it. The bus lurked forward again actualy sending her into the seat infront of her this time knocking head with who ever it is. "ooch" she mutters, "sorry" she rubbs her head and sat back.

The woman sitting next to The Doctor rolled her eyes and glanced back out of the window with a sigh as her attention had shifted greatly, seeing as this man she had acquainted herself with was obviously mad. The Doctor held his breath as he peered out of the same window, squinting for a moment as his eyes caught sight of a temporary displacement just above one of the skyscrapers of London. Raising his eyebrow, The Doctor turned back to front of the bus, getting out his sonic screwdriver in the process as the bus lurked forward to a stop.

Once the thrust of the bus hit, The Doctor bolted up from his seat and dashed out off the bus, nearly hitting the doors as the bus driver opened them. The bus driver shook his head with a chuckle, "Some people are in such a hurry" he mumbled as he waited and allowed others to get off as The Doctor jogged over to the building he had spotted earlier through the window, his sonic screwdriver extended upward towards the roof of the buildings.

Quinn, letting her curiosity get the bestof her again, hurried off after him. she stayed a fair distance away, trying to be sneaky about fallowing him. she slipped on her head phones but didnt turn on her music, keeping her head down and pulling up her hood. she watched him point something at the roof of a building and she stopped dumb fonded, "Is he bludy radge?" she mutterd dumbfounded, not realizing she was stairing again.

Scanning just above the roof top of the building commonly known to locals as The Shard, the sonic screwdriver gave back a positive reading, bringing not only hope, but a smile to The Doctor's facial expression. "Brilliant" He mumbled underneath his breath as he glanced around him for a moment before proceeding up to The Shard and entering through the lobby, "City inspector" The Doctor proclaimed, flipping out his psychic paper once more to the woman at the counter. Before she could even respond, The Doctor had already bolted past her and had ordered down an elevator using his sonic screwdriver with one hand and tucked the psychic paper back where it belonged with the other. Once the elevator opened, The Doctor rushed inside, immediately pressing the top floor button and awaiting for the elevator to ascend.

Quinn fallowed him but wasnt able to make the elevator. cursing colorfully she paused for a moment and slipped past every onve while they were stairing at the peticular man that had just ran to the elevaror, slippiong up the stairs. after the first 15 flights she was winded and out of breath. "ah screw thes," she said exasperatedly and hurried over to the elevators and pressed the button and waited leaning against the wall for one to come to her floor. "Noo Ah min' wa ye hate god damn stairs" (now i remember why i hat the god damn stairs) she sighed.

The last beep of the elevator brought a sigh of relief to The Doctor as the doors slid open and he stepped through, glancing around at the top floor before his eyes caught a glimpse of the stairs. Bolting over the last two rows of stairs, The Doctor reached the roof top within a few seconds and firmly drew out his sonic screwdriver. With an extension of his arm to just above the roof top he stood on, The Doctor activated the sonic screwdriver and it carefully scanned and scrutinized the area in question. Almost immediately, the sonic screwdriver roared to life and scans given to The Doctor, upon reading it, conveys that there is a ship hovering a hundred feet off of the roof top. The ship he has been tracking for quite some time now; the ship that stole his TARDIS.

"Now all i need is a rudimentary teleportation system" The Doctor mumbled to himself, rubbing the back of his head as he glimpsed around the roof top then strode over to the edge and peered over it, "If i can just find a shop. Then maybe i'll be able to make one..might take some time but. From the scans, it doesn't look like the ship will be going anywhere anytime soon. Lucky that i did what i did or else it would be gone".

Gregory remembered the shard from his Agency lessons in history. It was a point of curiosity one of the places that seemed to attract danger at one point it will become home to UNIT.. or will it? he wasn't sure he was always bad at history. He went back to tinkering with his vortex manipulator it was almost useless but he had managed to enable limited short range teleportation but he could only manage to teleport once without needing to refresh the battery he was trying to find an electronics shop so that he could buy some parts that would enhance the capability of his battery.

Quinn waited impatiently tapping her foot, arms crossed. "Finally, dang slaw machine" she grumbled and imedatltly started banging on the top floor button like it would make it go any faster. she scowled at the elevation doors as it made its slow assent. Quinn out of boredum on the long way up put her hair into a puny poney tail and sat down in the center of the elevator car bored

Peering over the edge of the rooftop, The Doctor spotted an electronic's shop, "Fantastic!" he proclaimed before turning on his heel and bolting to the roof access door. Within a minute, he was once more descending down the two flights of stairs and standing impatiently in front of the elevator, waiting for it to open. Once the doors shot open, The Doctor was about to enter but his eyes caught sight of the young woman sitting on the floor, "Oh.." he mumbled, glaring down at her with a surprised facial expression, "Sorry..". Squeezing inside and moving to the left where the buttons were, The Doctor kept a fair distance away from the girl as he pressed the main lobby button and held the elevators double doors with his foot, "Go on then. I'll hold it open for you" he told her, glancing slightly over his shoulder before turning his attention over to the buttons on the panel in front of him.

The Stranger was standing at the bottom floor when the Doctor and Quinn came along. He said, "Hello!" but was interrupted by a horrible headache and blacked out...

It was a small shop but Gregory hadn't seen any others so this one would have to do. "Hi welcome to the shop" "yea thanks Gregory" replied barely paying attention as he started to search for the parts he needed through the shops surprisingly large inventory

Quinn finaly reached the top floor but when she stepped out it was empty. "Ah damn it tae heel." she mutterd and leaned against the halway. surley he would have to come back to the elevator..right? she slid down onto the floor huphing in annoyanbce at her self/

The elevator dinged at it reached the main lobby once more and The Doctor stepped out, his hands placed nonchalantly in his pockets and a smirk on his face as he strode through the lobby, the faces of the lobby workers and some visitors scrutinizing his every move as he exited. The fresh air rushed through his hair and past his face as the doors of the lobby opened in front of him automatically and The Doctor stepped outside, the sun blazing down upon his face as he glanced around the street side buildings and shops. Finally seeing the electronic shop, The Doctor peered over his shoulder, left then right for cars then dashed across the street and over to the shop. The Doctor pulled the door open and stepped into the shop, immediately rushing over to the replacement parts isle and quickly scanning over their inventory, "Come on, come on" he whispered to himself as he ran his finger over the various parts dangling in front him.

Gregory was browsing through the mountain of parts thrown in the barging bin at the back when he was startled by the strange man running into the store. He hadnt ever seen anyone searching through broken motherboards with such enthusiasm, but Gregorys attention was quickly focussed back to the parts as he found some parts that would do the job. He gathered his parts and proceded twords the front of the shop to purchase his haul.

QUinn sighed, "Glaikit, glaikit, glaikit. wa did ye hink it woods be a guid idea tae fallaw th' cheil? coz naethin' bad can happen if ye fallaw a strange cheil aroond sure." (stupid, stupid, stupid. why did you think it would be a good idea to fallow the man? because nothing bad can happen if ya fallow a strange man around, sure) she said spitting out the last statement. she grumbled unintelligible words and hoped on the next elevator. as she exited in the lobby, she went and waited at the bus stop for the next bus to arrive looking quite annoyed.

The Doctor quickly snagged the required parts and dashed out of the isle, near knocking over the young man who was bringing the items he had in his hands to the front desk to pay for them. "Sorry" The Doctor called back over his shoulder to the man as he flipped out his psychic paper and showed it to the clerk behind the front desk, "Secret service. I need to borrow these items, a matter of national security!" he told the man. The man glared at the psychic paper for the split second it was showed to him then gave an approving nod to The Doctor just as he burst through the double doors. Jolting across the street and back over to The Shard, The Doctor carried the supplies he, practically, stole and rested them onto one of the several small benches located in front of the building. Tucking his psychic paper back into his suit and taking out his sonic screwdriver, The Doctor went to work, keeping his eyes and attention focused on the task at hand and that was building the device he had in mind, that of which was to be revealed soon and used.

"damn it" Gregory muttered under his breath as he reclaimed his jumble of parts strewn across the floor by the strange man. When the man claimed to be secret service he knew something was up he saw his ID but something was off, the way he carried himself or even the venue, the secret service has resources for this stuff. His curiosity piqued Gregory decided to follow the man, so he quickly purchased his goods and ran after the supposed "agent"

Quinn grumbled as she leaned against a building, arms crossed scowling, still waiting for the next bus. She glanced to her left to see the strange man she had been chasing earlier on a bench, building..something. she could hear the bus approaching and glanced back and forth between the man and the approaching bus. Quinn heaved a sigh, "Lassie ye hae some searious aishans" (girl you have some serious issues) she mumbled and pushed herself off the wall and walked toward the bench. "Oi! pipe cleaner wi' een!"(oi! pipe cleaner with eyes) quin called as she was paces away from the bench "whit urr ye daein'?" (what are you doing?) she asked raising an eye brow at the suspicious thing he was building

The Doctor raised an eyebrow and glanced over to the woman who approached him and at the man that was running over from the building he had just came from. But just as his attention was diverted from the device he was building, it went back to it just as fast then, within another split second, the device lit up with life. As the device lit up, so did The Doctor's facial expression and body language as he shot up from his squatting position up into a standing position. With a grin, he turned to the woman, "Sorry, i was building my timey wimey detector." he explained, glancing down at the device he had just created, "Goes ding when there's stuff and i need to look for stuff right now because stuff has my thing...or is it the other way around...not sure. Anyways, gotta go. Bit of Allons-y, see ya!". The Doctor's ramble was interrupted by the buzzing sound the timey wimey detector, causing him to turn on his heel and bolt back to The Spire, the device held out in front of him and his pacing from it and back up to the doors of the building as they came up to him.
