The Emink (one of two species from Calont)

Name: The Emink

Appearance: The Emink are all of the trees on Calont. Calont is a forest planet, with every kind of tree imaginable. Ash, Oak, Birch, Maple, any kind of tree you can think of is on Calont. They are the trees, but the trees all have faces. Ominous eyes that seem to stare into your soul, and a gaping, toothless mouth. But beware! For if you come too close, the Emink suddenly have a mouthful of razor-sharp teeth! No other important features- they are the trees.

Attitude: They are trees, they don't really have an attitude, but i guess they are aggressive when provoked.

Technology:  Since they are trees, they don't have any technology, they are rooted in one spot but can reach you with their branches. If I had to say what stage they were in, I'd say behind Earth. They have invented nothing, being stuck in one spot.

Backstory: It all started when their planet, Calont, was created. When the planet was created, the Emink were already made with the dust and rocks that created the planet. Along with the Emink, there was one other alien species created, but nothing else lives in the small planet of Calont. The Emink started evil. Their only purpose is to hurt or seriously injure anyone or anything that gets too near.

Present:
The Emink's goals are to live, basically. Frigid temperatures in Calont make the two creatures struggle to live. Some of the Emink are apple trees, and give apples for the other species to eat. The Emink look out for the other species, as far as food-wise. But ANYTHING that gets too near an Emink will be attacked.

I'd ask for a bit more information but that's pretty good considering they're just trees.

Just wondering, though, anything else you think you can note about them?
