| (Dream Stone: A crystal found on the planet Delirium of the Indigo constellation. Normally found with a flower or other plant trapped inside, this crystal is used in many different forms. One of the most used is as a gem for jewlery.
Easily mistaken for a pretty trinket, many people become victims of this particular crystal.
While it is not a living organisim, it boarders on the edge of being one simply because it needs to take in a nutrient to keep from becoming fragile like glass.
This nourishment is taken from hosts that pick it up and handle the crystal, allowing it contact with their skin and giving it the access it needs to absorb their energy.
It's 'feeding' does no harm to the host other than leaving them a little dizzy, it does give a rather interesting side effect during it's feeding phase. While the crystal absorbs it's host's energy, it sends them into a dream-like state along with whoever they are in contact with at the moment. The dream takes form of the most prominant train of thought inside of the host's mind.
Ex: If they are thinking about a person, their dream will take them to this person. If they are thinking of a place, they will dream of being in this place. If they are thinking of a problem they have, they face it in the dream. Ect, Ect.
Rare and hard to find in good condition (Polished, smooth and cut into a pleasing shape.), to be given a Dream Stone is a high honor only reserved for those that are well-known and respected.----------------------------------------------- "Excuse me, Miss. But you look like you're searching for something." A raspy voice broke through Sonya's thoughts, making her glance over at the shadowed stall along the street. Looking around the area curiously, she then turned back to the old Vinvochi woman and pointed at herself in question. At the woman's nod, she strolled over, hands tucked into her pockets as she leaned forward to look over the small items placed out on display. "You look lost, Miss. Like a man I once knew a long time ago, a smile on his face, helpful to everyone. But such a sad, lost look in his eyes. I couldn't help him, but perhaps I can help you?" A wry smile flickered over Sonya's lips, her blue eyes looking up into her faded, green face in interest. "What makes you think I'm in search of something, Ma'am?" She asked politely, curious to hear what she had to say despite herself. Curse that streak of curiosity, always got her into trouble to be honest, but she just couldn't help herself sometimes. "Your eyes don't stop looking around you no matter what you do. Always searching the area around you it seems, like you had dropped something very important a long time ago and continue to search for it after all these years. I've seen that look before, on myself." The Vinvochi woman smiled kindly, a hand reaching out to pat the top of Sonya's that reached out to pick up a pretty bauble to study in the light closer. Feeling herself freeze at the woman's words, Sonya put the trinket down and returned her hand to it's pocket, her feet shifting from side to side as a sudden rush of 'run run run' washed over her. Something wasn't sitting right with her and she wasn't sure if it was dangerous or not. "That may be, but whatever I lost can't really be picked up or found in the conventional way." She said idly, her sharp eyes not missing the small flicker of amusement in the old woman's eyes at her words. "Lost things of importance never are, Sweetie. Now, will you let me help you?" Chewing on her lower lip in thought, Sonya frowned for a second then slowly nodded her head. It couldn't hurt, besides, it wasn't like the old woman was dangerous, nothing bad came from her, she genuinely wanted to help in what way she could. The old woman glance around quickly before bringing out a small box covered in red cloth and tied with a white ribbon. "Here, take this. It'll help you more than you think. And please, if you ever meet a man calling himself the Doctor, tell him that Aniibe says thank you for me?" Her eyes twinkled kindly as she looked up at Sonya, wrinkled hands holding out the box for her to take. "Of course." Sonya promised, a small smile finding it's way onto her face as she reached out to take the gift and tuck it carefully into her sidebag. "I best be on my way then to find this Doctor and give him your message, yeah?" "No rush, just tell him when you can." The old woman waved her off and returned to polishing the gems on a small bracelet with the same gentle smile on her face as Sonya walked away, a bit unnerved with the knowing glint she spotted in the old woman's eyes before she turned away. As if she knew that she frequently met up with the Doctor. It could be, it wasn't often that a human-looking person appeared on the Vinvochi planet of trades during this time in the universe. Casting a final glance down at her sidebag, she pulled the sleeve back from her manipulator and tapped in a random string of numbers then vanished from sight once again. --------- Claxon Bar, Second sun of Orion, Judin Moon 2015
Plopping her chin into her hands, Sonya eyed the box in front of her curiously. "So.... That old woman knew something about me most people shouldn't. I know she knew, it was obvious really, but still... Helping me, huh?" Reaching out with a hand, she hooked a finger on the white ribbon and pulled it away from the cloth, letting the red materal fall away from a polished oak box with a latched lid, a carving of an old man's face on the top shone dully in the dim light of the bar. "Hmm... Now, why does that face look familiar?" She pondered outloud, the same finger that unwrapped the box tracing over the carving idly. "Almost like an old story... 'The little old man, with his bag of sand, watching over our dreams.' Sandman, of course, how couldn't I see it before?" Chuckling to herself, Sonya reached out and lifted the lid carefully, revealing a small choaker necklace with a braded leather cord and a small teardrop-shaped crystal with a yellow flower encased inside nestled into the fabric of the box. "Oh my, now that is something. Though not sure how it'll help, but still... Something interesting." Reaching out, she picked it up by the cord and dangled it in front of her eyes, watching the light shine off of the smooth surface of the crystal, lighting up the flower inside. Tipping her head to the right, she studied the plant with a small frown, trying to place where she had seen it before. "Hmm..."

| Midshipman Frame was at the Claxon bar, sitting at the splintery bar counter, waiting for the android bartender to get around to him. It had been a rather tiring day, really. He was actually supposed to be his time off really, but he had ended up helping a smaller space liner cross an asteroid plane. Well, it actually turned out to be a life or death match not to get hit, with a little bit of luck. At least they were kind enough to drop him off at this bar. Well, more of a debilitating shack, but no judging. At least they had a good stock of beer. I mean, did they really have Slitheen Wheatiro beer!
He was wearing his Midshipmans uniform. He enjoyed wearing it out, and while he could throw on his more relaxed clothing which was in his knapsack, he liked the perks that sometimes came with wearing it. His Midshipmans hat, dark blue jacket,shoes...just everything...he would go so far as to say he looked very debonair...but he wouldn't.
"Oh, um yes, a glass of the Slitheen Wheatiro beer please...use my vone to transmit the currency...yeah, thanks mate." He said, waiting as the android poured him some beer. He took a sip after getting it back in a surprisingly clean glass, and smiled as it warmed his insides. He stood up, looking around the rather sparsely populated bar, and decided to head outside to look at the sky while he drank.
As he walked, he tripped over himself. And not the little trip that you catch yourself gracefully from. He tripped arms waving, body turning, landing on the floor with an oomph as his drink spilled over one of the patrons of the bar. Scrambling up quickly, he turned to find a beer soaked female. "Oh Vot! I'm really sorry about that, I really am!" He let out, his cheeks and ears turning a slight pink. "Here, let me try and help." He said as he began looking for some napkins,to pat her down with.

| Sonya blinked, her blue eyes looking down at her soaked clothing then up at the flustered man as he looked around frantically. "Well... I did say I wanted a shower this morning, however beer wasn't what I had in mind." She said brightly, a hand wiping at her face as she flicked the slightly sticky liquid from her hand. "So, tell me, how does someone manage to trip over air anyway? Did it harden suddenly? Always wondered about that myself." She added playfully, already getting to her feet and digging around in her bag she had (Thankfully) set on the seat across from her rather than beside where she sat, and pulled out a shirt with a large hole singed in the center of it. "This'll do."
Turning a wry smile over at the man, she wiped herself off the best she could before tossing the shirt back into her bag. She hadn't worn it since she was Tyra, but it was hard to let go of some memories to be honest. "So, tell me..." Sonya eyed his uniform curiously before a wide grin spread across her face, a hand popping out towards him to offer for a shake. "What company do you belong to? I don't see a name or title on your uniform, so I'm just guessing you're a bit of a freelance? Hopping from ship to ship, right?"
Glancing over her shoulder, she eyed the drenched box the necklace had been in with slight dismay. No way she could put it back now, the cloth acted like a damper for the crystal and now it was ruined. Turning back forward, she brought up the necklace and eyed it with a small frown on her lips, completely lost in thought as she dropped her other hand and wandered back to her table. Her concentration always did slip away easily, moreso lately than usual now.

| As she questioned how he tripped over nothing, Alonso, shrugged, grinning sheepishly, and began talking as she was washing herself off with a shirt she brought out of her sack."I dunno really. Happens a lot though. I can be clumsy at times..." he spoke out, blue eyes glancing at the gem necklace. Well, he was more clumsy all the time...but that didn't have to be discussed to a possible later date. He took off his hat and held it in his hand.
He was glad that she managed to get most of the beer off at least, and she didn't seem to irritated by it. He took a seat next to her as she continued to speak, wincing slightly as a splinter went into his hand. He took her hand with his other hand, which was a bit awkward, and shook it weirdly, grinning as she asked about him. "Oh, me? Yeah, your right, I'm a freelancer at the moment.I graduated at the Naval Academy on Sto, in the Casivanian Belt. I'm a Midshipman, so I work in the cockpits of ships! I generally work from ship to ship, wherever needed. I'm on a break at the moment...though I did help get a small ship through the asteroid belt here...almost blew up, it did!" He recounted, a bit proud of himself for his accomplishment.
He noticed though, that she did seem to not be paying much attention, her eyes a bit far away. He bit his lip, feeling a bit silly for how he said his job, the coughed a bit, clearing his throat. "So...erm, what do you do for a living then? Beautiful girl like you with a beautiful necklace in hand?" He asked a bit off, not sure if he was disturbing her thoughts to much or not.

| "I swear, Alonso, I am so not letting you drive the TARDIS anymore"
Theta had been on the TARDIS with his companion not two minutes ago, teaching the ever-curious midshipman the basics of flying a TARDIS. It'd been fun at first, they'd been joking around and acting in the way only two nerdy men could accomplish, and Alonso had been learning the controls relatively quick, too! But then he'd pressed... that button. TARDISes are very complex, and your human mind probably couldn't comprehend the consequences of pressing that button, but in simple terms the TARDIS had left...without it's inhabitants.
So now the frustrated Timelord was weaving through alien crowds on the Judin moon, trying to find his companion so he could give him a good berating (more like a stern word, Alonso was too nice to properly berate), then look for his TARDIS, which was certainly around somewhere. If it wasn't in the time vortex. Oh dear Rassilon, it better not be...
Theta sighed and trudged on, eyes and ears scanning the crowds around him for any sign of his missing friend. As intent as he was scanning the crowds, he almost missed the familiar midshipman's cap bobbing around in a bar on the side of the walkway. But something, luck, or chance, had him glance that way, and thank god he did. Theta wasted no time in finding the door and darting inside towards his companion.
Outside, a familiar cap passed by.
"Alonso! Rassilon, you had me worried there for a second, thought I'd never find you!" Theta walked up to the bar, where Alonso and a vaugely familiar woman sat, conversing. He slid into the seat next to the midshipman "I have to say, though...one hell of a ride, yeah?"

| Alonso quickly swiveled his head as he heard his name, which he found odd. He wasn't expecting someone to know him this far out of his usual zones of flight, but he wasn't that surprised, as he had helped out on a variety of ships. He put his hat back on his head as he looked towards the door, curious to who it could be.
The man he assumed had called his name appeared, and Alonso quickly looked over him with his eyes. "Okay, okay...c'mon, rack your brain...nope, I don't know him...but he obviously knows me! Oh Vot, I must have forgotten his name! Argh! Okay it's fine, I'll just...not use his name...no, that's not right. I'll just ask, and hope he isn't offended or anything..." his thoughts seemed to be showing on his face, which had a sheepishly surprised expression on it.
The man then walked over, sat down, and began talking as if they had just been doing something, and he gave the man a half-cocked confused look. "Okay...maybe he was one of the passengers on the vessel he helped through the asteroid belt...makes sense then" he thought to himself, rubbing the nape of his neck. "Erm, sorry to say mate, I don't seem to recognize ya? Your from the IGPTS vessel, right? Maybe if you say your name, it might help me remember," he said, with an apologetic voice.

| Sonya nodded quietly along with what he was saying, her gaze dropped to the flower inside of the gem once more, a faint prickle of familiarity crossing her mind once again. I know you from somewhere dammit. Now where was it? "Hm? Oh, I don't really have a job to be honest. A bit rich to be honest, spend my fortune on the less fortunite." She chuckled to herself, a hand running through her hair as she brought her eyes back up to study her new company with a wide smile on her face.
Then, that voice. A familiar tingle and a brush of psycic awareness assulted Sonya's senses, making her head whip around expectantly only to spy a male Time Lord, but not the one she was hoping. Damn, I could have used his brain for sure... "Hold up. I know you from somewhere... Fluffy, no, not fluffy. A scatterbrain, yea... Fish too. Theta! how long has it been?" Sonya jumped up from her seat, setting the necklace on the table carefully before pouncing on the poor unsuspecting Time Lord cheerfully in an excited hug.
(Sorry its short, but typing with one hand while bottle feeding a child with the other, I think i did a good job anyway lol)

| Theta stood in place awkwardly as Sonya hugged him, stiff like a plank and very startled. After a second of this, he cleared his throat and stepped out of the hug, giving Alonso a look like 'did you set her up to this'?
"Uhm, you'll have to excuse me, but...who are you, exactly?" Theta racked his mind, but no matter what, he failed to recognize her face. But, wait...was that a telepathic presence he sensed? Oh my god, this lady wasn't just a lady...she, she was a timelord! But no, that wasn't possible...there were only a few timeladies out there, and none of them could ever be this woman. He might have said Candy, but the telepathic presence certainly didn't feel like her. Sonya? Pfft, as if. Sonya was gone, replaced by an evil lunatic that had haunted Robin's nightmares.
Robin...Theta forced himself back to the matter at hand, trying not to think about his murdered friend. He'd mourned, that was over with, why did he feel like it wasn't over with??
"I'm just going to go out on a limb here, and say I have never met you before. Timestreams, and such..."

| Alonso watched the two. He saw as the female went up and hugged the male. The man looked very awkward yes. He heard the name Theta though. "Okay, so the mans name is Theta....I don't know him...not his face, not his name...so how can he know me!" This was all very confusing to him. What became more confusing was the fact the he didn't know her, but she obviously did know him. "Okay, so, lets see..." he began thinking to himself, hopefully trying to become less confused. "This girl knows Theta, but Theta doesn't know her. Theta knows me, but I don't know him. Me and the girl don't really know each other...yep, still confused!" He looked down elbows on table and head in hands, trying to get things together.
He didn't really catch what Theta ended up saying. He heard Timestreams, but just shook his head, not getting it. He wanted his beer.It had cost him some credit, and that sip he had sipped tasted so nice. How did it come to the point in his break where he was dealing with people who say they know people but the others don't. Maybe there was something in that drink?
He glanced over and noticed the necklace. It looked very pretty. Teardrop shaped, with a flower in it. He resisted the urge to pick it up and look closer, not wanting to irritate the girl who seemed alright, and wasn't made he spilled alcohol on her...maybe he could wring out the shirt..."Okay Alonso, lets get back to the conversation,"he thought, sighing to himself as he picked up his head, looking between the two.

| Sonya frowned slightly then grinned mischeviously. "How's your TARDIS doing, Thet? Taking care of her I hope. Better than the other Doctor, you know the one, always wears that suit with the fluffy hair on his head." She poked his nose cheerfully then glanced over at the midshipman curiously, the poor boy looked absolutely lost as to what was going on, if this kept going, she worried his brain might just fry out if he didn't get something to ease himself with.
Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a credit stick and tossed it over at him, letting it clatter across the table to land in front of his arms. "Here, get us all a couple of drinks yeah? Hypervodka for me, thanks. And whatever the boy here wants." She said idly, a thumb pointing at Theta next to her then dropping back to her side as she glanced back at the Time Lord curiously. "What's with the sudden change in heart anyway? I know we've met by now because you got the whole 'I belong here' look on your face rather than the 'I feel lost and alone' look you had when we first met."

| "My TARDIS is just fine, but that's not the point-" Theta blinked as his mind caught up to the action of Sonya poking him on the nose. Not many people he knew poked him on a regular basis; usually he was the one doing all the poking and prodding about. And there was only one Timelord he could think of out of that small pool of people-
"You're not crazy!" Theta blurted as the revelation came to him, that this was Sonya. Sonya, his first friend in this universe. Sonya, who he had traveled with the longest. Sonya..who had gone insane and caused Robin nightmares, branding her as if she were...were some thing. Sonya his friend, Sonya his enemy.
His entire stance did a complete 180 at those three words; his eyes were wide, disbelieving, his posture guarded, as if Sonya was going to take a laser to his head at any moment. He took a half-step backwards, but then seemed to catch himself in the action of doing so and forced himself to stand still, even if the action of doing so made Theta seem a bit stiff. His hands curled into fists, nails making his palms go white as he tried to not punch her in the face...or run away, or hug her, or scream or cry, all of which his mind was supporting more than just standing here, taking in breaths like some wheezy dying fish.

| Alonso tried to catch the credit stick with grace, but it ended up hitting his face and landing into the palm of his hand. He smiled sheepishly. "Okay, so, that's one hypervodka, and..." as he turned to Theta, he caught himself. It looked like the man was going through a revelation the way he was looking and acting. "Well,I'll be,erm, right back then!" He said quickly, moving up from the chair. As he walked away, he could hear a name coming from his lips...Sonya.
"Okay, so Sonya and Theta do know each other...that clears up that bit at least," he said, making his way to the bar. "Hey, yeah,erm...give me a hypervodka...a Slitheen Wheation beer...and the strongest thing you got...strongest as in you can fly a ship in low-sec space and remain relatively sound," He said, giving the android the credit stick. Soon, he got three glasses. A small one with a transparent view, but seemed to give back an aura, a nice amber liquid that was his, and a bright pink drink for Theta.
He quickly walked back to the table, and set down the drinks, hoping he hadn't missed anything. This whole situation was starting to remind him of the soap operas his friends mom used to watch. He chuckled at the thought, but sort of wanted to see how it would play out. "Drinks,"he said, sitting back down.

| Sonya winked at Alonso as she took her glass and raised it in thanks. "Cheers, Mate." She chirped brightly, her eyes flicking back over to Theta, a small haze of pain and regret swimming in her gaze before it dropped away to be replaced by it's usual good cheer. "Well, couldn't really help what happened then, now could I? Wasn't really me doing all of that. Not sure if it was ever cleared up for you, but long story short, I had something evil taking over my brain basically..." She trailed off, not really wanting to give the details behind what caused the 'evil' in the first place.
"Not sure if you've heard of it from where you lived, but the Nightmare Child is pretty well known here in Gallifreyan circles." She finally added, plopping down into her seat across from Alonso and lifting the glass to her lips, taking a small sip and curling her lip slightly when the taste registered on her tongue. "Ooh, too sweet. Why do people like sweet things? It kills me half the time." She mumbled to herself, glaring at the liquid in her hand before shrugging and downing the rest of it quickly, gimacing once the sweetness touched her tongue again. "Isn't a hypervodka meant to be bitter and dry? Why do you humans insist on changing a perfectly good thing, hm?" Sonya eyed the Midshipman with a teasing grin on her face.
"And don't mind him, I think I broke his brain to be honest. Not hard to do if you ask me, I've done it so often, I've lost count by now." Leaning towards the young man, she nodded her head over towards Theta while she spoke, explaining a bit of what happened. "I have a bit of a problem with my past, don't remember some of it, and apparently what I don't remember is best if I don't. Things happened, things I wouldn't do. So yeah. but I'm all better now, no more of that and it's just me up here." A finger tapped her forehead lightly as she leaned back in her seat, setting the glass down on the table beside her and glancing at the necklace with a small frown. "Thet, perhaps you can help me. Tell me why an old Vinvochi woman would give me a Dream Stone to help me find what I might have lost."

| "You" was growled and disbelievingly said and even said as a question several times by the shocked Timelord, who paced around for several moments, looking everything like a lost but slightly feral puppy. Eventually, he just gave up trying to understand and slumped into the open seat next to Alonso. Theta grabbed the pink drink like it was water to a burning man, drowning nearly half of it all in one go. He set it back down and stared over at Sonya.
"So all that...stuff, I heard that you did, that wasn't you? Or, at least not you mentally?" his sounds sounded like they sounded weird now, heh. Hopefully that was just him, and he still sounded normal; he severely needed that drink for this conversation. It was much easier to talk to a person when pink spots danced in front of your eyes, covering up the other person's eyes and mouth and basically their entire face, which he could not look at right now.

| Alonso's eyebrows raised, he sipped his beer as Sonya talked. The Nightmare Child....Gallifreyan circles...too sweet hypervodka. The beer warmed up his body, and he let out a small chuckle. Perhaps he just happened to have found the two most confusing people on this moon. He listened to the female as she explained about her sketchy passed. Really, he wasn't that fazed, and he lightly twirled the bottle with his fingers. His just went along with it, even though her explaining that brought up more questions then answers.
He felt a bit nervous when Theta sat down next to him, as he didn't seem in the best of moods. As he watched Theta down the drink, his jaw almost unhinged. He didn't think even a Judoon could chug that drink like Theta could. He finally go out what he had been meaning to ask though, hopefully to finally clear up any confusion. "So, how exactly do you know me, Theta?" he asked, earnestly.

| "Me." Sonya chirped cheerfully, one hand drumming it's fingers on the top of the table out of habit. "And no. It wasn't technically me." A dark expression crossed her face at the vague memory it brought up. "What happened to me was more or less a punishment I believe. Giving up my regenerations like I used to, something was bound to snap. It didn't help much when I finally regained my memories of Gallifrey. Not a happy childhood."
She trailed off, her eyes drifing down from Thet's face and landing on the Dream Stone in thought. She thought shewas done explaining all of this before she died again, yet here was one last person that had to hear the story themselves. "This is what I get for knowing so many people. Really, over twenty years in my timestream, and I'm still running into people left in the dark." Closing her eyes, Sonya dropped her head into her hands with a low groan of frustration.

| "That one rights rally, 'member" Theta mumbled absentmindedly, distracted by Sonya. Part of him wanted to try to comfort her, like he would have done back when they still traveled together. But he'd always been rubbish at the comforting side of friendship, and anyways, he wasn't sure if Sonya even was his friend anymore.
No, that was silly, of course they were friends. But then again, he couldn't just talk with her as if nothing had happened. Years had passed, Sonya had gone through hell and back, she'd even regenerated; to be honest, Theta wasn't sure he was talking with the same Sonya who had burst into his TARDIS his first day on Earth. Time changed people, and the Timelord had no delusions about knowing how much it'd changed his old friend.
And so Theta kept his mouth closed and let his eyes slowly drift away from the brunette, landing on the counter in front of him. He was tempted to take another sip out of his drink, but that last gulp was starting to catch up to him, leaving his head hurting and mouth dry with the taste of alcohol. Frowning at the vibrant colored, drink, he used his finger to subtly push it away from him a few inches, the action making a hollow sliding sound, barely audible over the talking and clinking of glasses of the other bar occupants.
"'m sorry" he wasn't really sure what else to say, really. It wasn't that he was personally sorry or anything, just... what else could he really say? He nervously rubbed his index finger on the bar, the counter cool against the pad of his finger. Maybe he could say something along the lines of 'better than having no friends', or make a joke to cheer her up. No, no, it was already to late for him to do so, it'd just come out awkward if he said it now. Not that it wasn't already awkward. Perhaps he should just converse with Alonso, try to put it out of his mind...but no, the midshipman would be sure to get on his case about being rude, or some rubbish like that.

| "Why apologize? You know I hate it when someone says sorry for something they had nothing to do with. Was it your fault that I cracked and went crazy? No, it wasn't your fault that I died either, so shut up and drink your nasty-smelling drink, yeah?" Sonya laughed and slid the drink back towards him with a challange twinkling in her eyes, daring him to push it back and say it was nasty. "Of course, if you want to wuss out and not drink it, I can always get you a PearDaquori instead... Because Daquori's are so completely a man's drink and all..."
Turning her head, she raised a hand, getting one of the waitress's attentions and have her walk over to where they were sitting. "Another Hypervodka for me, less sweet this time, it'll rot the teeth right out of my head if I drink another one like that." Flicking her gaze back over to Thet, Sonya smirked playfully then looked back up at the woman waiting for her to finish. "And a PearDaquori for my friend here, a bit of a lightweight if you ask me." She added in an undertone, earning an amused giggle from the woman as she walked off to get their drinks.
"Now that's over with..." She picked up the necklace and dangled it above the table for the other two sitting there to see better. "Tell me what you know about this interesting bit of jewlery. I know a bit, but I'm a little stuck as to how it can help me." Frowning slightly, Sonya passed a hand through her hair in thought, frustrated that she couldn't figure out what it was the old woman was getting at when she gave her this in the first place. She obviously thought it could help in some way, but honestly, there wasn't really anything she could get from a dream that wouldn't end up being a nightmare. "Well?"

| Alonso attempted to remember any rally where he had met Theta "Are you sure about a rally?" he asked, thinking back. Thinking back, he couldn't remember ever meeting someone like him...well, no, that's not true...but his name was Jeff, so different people. He took another swig from his beer, looking between the two, almost tasting the awkward...or maybe that was the smell of the tears of broken seamen as they drowned their sorrow in a bottle at the bar...same difference.
He looked at the teardrop shaped stone, with the flower in it. What had she called it before...a dream stone,or something like that. He'd never heard of one. "Well...dreams are known to help people, yeah?I mean, dreams are a.bout symbolism and patterns and the mind processing everything. Maybe that's how?" he said, taking another sip from his beer.

| "Oi, I am not a lightweight!" the effect was, of course, ruined by Theta sipping his 'manly' PearDaquori as soon as it arrived. Unlike whatever pink monstrosity he had been drinking before, the PearDaquori was sweet like his favourite fruit, with an added tang from the lime. Not to mention it contained much less alcohol, which was good, because in all reality he really was a horrible lightweight when it came to drinking. And not just drinking alcohol, no; sodas, coffee, even warm milk. They all seemed to have a greater effect on him than most, which was rather sad when you remembered that he possessed so-called 'superior' Timelord biology.
Theta rested his cheek on his palm and took another sip of his daquori, glancing down at the pink drink he'd been drinking before. It had been okay, yeah, but it was just so strong; he suspected he might just regret having any more of it. He glanced over at his two bar-mates. Suppose they might want some...well, maybe not Alonso, but Sonya defiantly. It was his belief that she could drink a Judoon under the table, if she so wished. Well, that'd been back when he knew she could do so (he'd actually seen it once), but seeing from the way she drank now he supposed that particular trait of hers hadn't changed all that much.
Thet turned his attention back to the conversation at hand, his eyes roaming over the necklace as she talked. The shape of it looked very smooth, machine made even. He would have guessed it belonged in an Earth gift shop if it weren't for one thing; the flower in the middle of the stone. The flower wasn't fake looking at all, in fact, he thought, it looked more real than an actual flower!
"I wouldn't know much about it helping you, but it's a pretty necklace, at least. Maybe whoever gave it to you thought it'd help in picking up guys?" Theta gave a half shrug "What I'm really wondering, though, is how they got the flower to look that way. Must've been a really good craftsman"
Theta turned the words he'd said over in his mind several times, and it took only a brief moment before he shot up straight, idea shining in his eyes, finger half raised as if to press an imaginary button.
"Do you know who the craftsman was? Maybe if we knew the craftsman, we could figure out how it's supposed to help you! You never know, maybe someone mass produces these things, and they've got a nifty little about page for it on their site"

| "No dice there, Time Lord. It's a Dream Stone, very rare I'm afraid. And just looking at it I can tell the blasted thing is the real deal. The flower is a dead giveaway as you pointed out." Sonya frowned at the gem, a finger of her other hand tapping against her lower lip while she thought to herself then shifted her attention back to the two sitting across from her. "I don't know exact details, but these are pretty potent. It's not alive, per-say, but it takes energy as a nutrient to keep the crystal from becoming fragile and breaking. Touch the stone, and it starts taking a bit of your energy, touch someone else while doing it, and it takes it from them too. Only a couple side effects were noted when I asked about them a while ago."
Placing the necklace on the table between the three of them carefully, Sonya arranged the leather braid around it with a random artistic bout before folding her hands in front of her and resting her chin on top of them, blue eyes locked onto the two men with a twinkle of mischief in their debths. "One of them is, you feel dizzy afterwards. Another is you get sent into a dream-state and forced to face whatever thought is most prominant in your mind. Though if another person is touching the 'host' that the stone intially is feeding from, they are carried along into their dream instead of having one of their own."
Dropping her stare back to the stone, she sighed deeply, her frame slumping forward onto the table until she was nearly laying on it in frustration. "The problem is, I don't get why she thinks that will help me. Apparently I lost something according to her, and this will help me find it. I haven't lost a damn thing besides my common sense, but I never had that in the first place to be honest."

| Alonso pushed his chair back slightly as she talked more about the dream stone. He didn't really like the thought of going into someones hallucinogenic dream via some almost living rock...stone...whatever. He looked between the two again. He heard something a bit more resonating this time around. "Time Lord...now that rings a tone...ah, beer, making it hard to think." Alonso decided to relax a bit more, for in this state of mind,he learned that the best way to go about things is not to stress.
Alonso also decided to be done with being confused. He let out a sigh, trying to get over it. Obviously, these people were rather insane, and vague, so he wasn't going to get an answer out of them anyways. So heleaned his chair back and watched, getting 3/4 of the way down his beer.

| Theta glanced down at the stone, suddenly very wary of being so close to it. A stone that could send you into a dream if you simply touched it, a dream about whatever mess you had going on in your head at the time...that sounded very unfortunate. Well, some people might enjoy the stone and it's instant-dream capabilities, but what if you didn't know it did that, or it touched you by accident? It seemed to him that whoever would give you that sort of thing would be looking for a good laugh out of the situation.
"Maybe...maybe you could just think 'what do I need help finding', then touch the stone?" ok, now Theta was really floundering. But, well, what else could they do? It wasn't technology, so they couldn't just scan it and see if it had a 'show me life's answers' code within it somewhere. If all the stone could do is put you to sleep, the most likely way it would help is by putting you to sleep... but there were so, so many things that could go wrong. What if you were thinking of the wrong thing when it put you to sleep, or if someone you didn't know accidentally touched you while you were under? And...and...there were too many complications with that, no way they could use the dream stone in that way.

| Staying quiet while the other two spoke their opinions, Sonya rubbed her chin with a hand thoughtfully, her eyes not moving away from the stone while she went over several different scenarieos in her head before coming to a final conclusion. "Thet, where is your TARDIS? I'd like to test this out, but would rather like to be where I feel safe rather than worry offhandedly about being robbed while sleeping." She finally said softly, her voice carrying over the music so the other two could hear her easily though, the usual cheer and good mood gone from her expression and eyes as a sharp look of concentration clouded her face.
"In truth, I have an idea of what it is I'll be facing, and if need be, I have to be somewhere I won't react badly to when I wake up. The TARDIS ought to at least offer some comfort with it's familiarity should I wake up badly." Looking up, she locked gazes with the other Time Lord, her lips twisted downward into a small frown as she spoke. "So, I'll be needing a helping hand in this. You too, Alonso. I don't know you, but anyone that exudes your level of calm would be welcome during this." she trailed off finally, unwilling to voice her next question just yet. It was rather awkward to ask someone she knew from years ago that thought she was still evil, and a complete stranger, human no less, to help her work out whatever dream she'll be sent into while a stone feeds off of her life energy.
Really, there was no real polite way to ask it other than straight out.

| Alonso listened as Sonya spoke, his hands wrapped firmly around his drink, eyebrows furrowed. "Half the words they say make no sense...TARDIS? It's like they make it up on the spot" he thought, sipping from the beer, which was almost gone. Her facial cues had hanged as well, and she was much more serious then she was just moments ago. He sat up in his seat a bit, looking around the room, which had increased a bit in people.
He could understand Sonya's concern with taking the trip at such a public place. "Well...I mean,I don't see too much harm in doing it. I've also gotten along this far with you, so this should be interesting. Anything to help, I suppose," he said, nodding towards her. The drink he just had probably helped him in agreeing, no doubt. "Also, what is a TARDIS?"
