Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Consequences of Vortex Manipulation   Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeThu Jun 27, 2013 5:51 pm

The Doctor returned the smile and followed Hanna inside of the elevation pod and once inside, he gestured to the door with his head, "Go on then" he said before quickly flipping out his sonic screwdriver, "Wait, hang on". Activating his screwdriver over the controls of the elevation pod, The Doctor took a step back and gestured to the controls once more, "Give it a little speed. Allons-y Hanna..the longer he wait, the more likely we could loose the signal".

Once the elevation pod was ordered by Hanna to go down, The Doctor prepared himself for a mad dash back to his TARDIS, "Get ready to run" he told her, "We need to get there as soon as possible if we are to lock onto the signal..if that person was smart, it would have tried to deactivate the signal from the biomites, meaning we have even less time now".

She watched as he came into the elevation pod and soniced the controls explaining why. She smiled, "Trying to take away my view?" She joked, a smile playing on her lips. She pressed he correct button, having remembered which one on the way up. As the zoomed down the side of the building, Hanna didn't bother to take in the view as she had last time. Instead she got ready to run, just like the Doctor was. "Of course they're smart. They blew up the inventor." She said, smiling over at the Doctor. She took a quick glance out the window, barely getting a glimpse of the city, and then the elevation pod was revolving back, opening up to the lobby. She smirked and looked over at the Doctor. "Race you there." She took off as soon as the doors were open.

Once she was outside, she looked at the top of the buildings. On the way to the observatory, she had looked up, noticing interesting things and whatnot. And, as her memory served, she used the interesting things and whatnot as landmarks. Making her way back to the TARDIS, having a head start on the Doctor. She weaved through the civilians and made her way back to the TARDIS in good time, waiting for the Doctor to get there too, since she couldn't get in without him being there.

The Doctor smiled and raced after her, nearly passing her a few times but thanks to groups of civilians, was cut off and forced to slow his pace. Seeing that Hanna as already at the TARDIS, The Doctor quickly extended his hand and snapped his fingers, the doors creaked open, allowing Hanna through and himself as he ran up to it and eventually through the open doors. The doors slammed shut behind him and he raced around the control console, fiddling with the controls to try and locate the signal, "If we are really lucky then the signal might still be there.." he mumbled mostly to himself, pulling over the scanner and gazing at the scans before pointing his index finger at the scans, "There's a faint trace! Faint! But it's there! Haha!!".

A grin overwhelmed The Doctor's face as he locked onto the signal and yanked down the main lever, immediately the TARDIS began to rock back and forth, forcing its way through the time vortex. With a thud that echoed through the entire interior of the TARDIS, the TARDIS landed where the signal was being broadcast just as it blinked away from existence on the scanner.

She smiled when she saw him in the crowd, racing towards her. When he snapped her fingers and the doors to the TARDIS opened on their own, Hanna let out a light laugh. "Oh. That's just brilliant." She commented on the fact he could open the doors with a snap of his finger. She walked into the TARDIS and up to the console, leaning against the railing as the Doctor came bounding in, having been not far behind her. As he raced up to the console and started messing with the buttons and levers, Hanna walked around to the other side of the console, excited. She peeked around the console as he started shouting that there was a faint trace of the signal, a small laugh emitting from her lips form the way he seemed to get really excited about it.

His grin was contagious, she couldn't help but smile too, even when the TARDIS took off and seemed to be trying to turn them into scrambled eggs. Hanna held onto the console, doing her best to not get thrown to the ground. When the TARDIS landed with a final thump, she couldn't help but laugh and look over at the Doctor. "I wonder what's outside." She said, regaining her balance and back on to her feet, having fallen when they had landed, she raced towards the door. But instead of opening it right away, she stood there waiting for the Doctor. What was on the other side of the door? What would they find?

PostSubject: Re: Consequences of Vortex Manipulation   Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeFri Jun 28, 2013 9:41 pm

The Doctor raced down the ramp, his smile holding firm as he glanced over to Hanna, gesturing towards the door with his head slightly, "Come on then, let's take a look" he mumbled. Placing one hand on the handle of the door, he pushed it open, his eyes immediately adjusting to the dark surroundings that welcomed him as he stepped out. Sound of damp, thin, metal boards echoed into his ears as The Doctor placed his foot onto the flooring; thankfully noticing a large gap a few feet in front of him, having to squint his eyes just to see the edges. "Hanna" The Doctor called over his shoulder, flipping out his sonic screwdriver and activating it, using it as light, "Stay close..and watch out where you step".

The sonic screwdriver shed light on an otherwise pitch black room they were currently inside of. The boards creaked and groaned as The Doctor proceeded further and further through the dark, beaten down, rusted, building around and in front of him. His shape was illuminated by the back light of the sonic screwdriver as it shined out a few feet in front of him, eventually catching the outline of the figure that had stolen to biomites earlier. Shifting to the side quickly and hiding behind some cover, The Doctor pulled his sonic screwdriver down by his side and de-activated it, gazing over the edge of the broken off piece of the ceiling that he was hiding behind.

The figure hovered over the containers he had put the biomites in, studying each one under a lamp then turning to the table to the left of him and setting down his helmet. Folded whisker like tendrils protruded from the sides of his head and two antenna slithered up from it's forehead. A clicking sound emitted from the figure as it seemed to speak about the biomites, mumbling to itself just as The Doctor does constantly.

She smiled and nodded as he gestured toward the door. She was ready to catch a biomites thief/ inventor murderer. The moment the Doctor opened the door, the dark seemed to enevelope them. Her eyes, taking a while to adjust, hurt from the sudden change in lighting. When the Doctor told her to stay close, she grabbed onto his trench coat, not wanting to fall or run into anything she wouldn't see. She followed closely behind the Doctor as he used his sonic as a type of light. Once her eyes adjusted, she began to make out the shapes and different things of where they were. When the light from the sonic was turned off, she stumbled a second, but caught herself, shapes getting  a bit of detail. Carrots, were helpful in the dark. They improved your night vision.

She looked toward where the figure was working with the biomites, doing something she couldn't really see in the dark. She wanted to ask the Doctor what it was doing, but knew that if she spoke, it would get the attention of the figure itself, and she wasn't sure if the Doctor wanted it's attention just yet. So instead, she squinted a little, trying to make it out, but gave up when her eyes started to hurt from straining to see in the dark. Her curiosity was not a saint here, where she couldn't really do anything to satisfy it. She shifted her weight a second, but as a creak sounded and suddenly the floor gave way to nothing. She fell, catching herself on the way down on the edge. She had walked right into an opening in the ground. Hanna mentally cursed herself for being so stupid. The Doctor had said to stay close, knowing that she could have fallen into the holes herself, not being able to see that well in the dark, and yet, she had still fallen. She clung to the edge, hoping she wouldn't fall. She certainly wasn't much help in not exposing themselves to the figure, because with her falling, she must have made some noise and gotten it's attention.

PostSubject: Re: Consequences of Vortex Manipulation   Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeSat Jun 29, 2013 6:58 pm

The Doctor peered over to Hanna as she clung for her life on the edge of what remained of that portion of the floor; quickly he dashed over to her side and forcefully yanked her up and fell back just as the figure turned around. With Hanna now resting on top of him and his body barely hidden within the shadows, The Doctor watched the figure with widened eyes, his breathing coming down to almost nothing as the figure hovered in front of them. It peered around for a second before walking back to it's station allowing The Doctor to release a breath of relief as he gently moved Hanna off of him and made his way to the edge of the wall and peered around it.

The figure had the biomites lined up, their systems having been rewired, were colored green now, with only one the original color of blue. Having noticed this, The Doctor quietly extended out his sonic screwdriver and activated it in the direction of the remaining biomite that was unaltered. The biomite sparked, it's sparks flying up into the spiky face of the figure; it covered it's eyes with a painful roar as it instinctively swept up the mites it had altered and tucked them protectively until his pocket. Without a further thought, The Doctor burst from the shadows and jumped on top of the figure with a battle cry. The figure tried furiously to get The Doctor off of him, shaking and trashing about causing the still activated sonic screwdriver to fall to the floor just before the figure activated it's jet pack and burst through the roof with The Doctor still clinging on for dear life.

She could feel the thing looking at them, that feeling of being watched making the hairs on her neck stand on end. When she was off of the Doctor, she laid there for a few seconds, trying to calm down and steady her heartbeat. The sound the Doctor activating his sonic drew Hanna's attention. She sat up and watched as something sparked and then the Doctor burst from the shadows. The struggle brought Hanna to her feet and she came form the shadows just as the figure began to hover, taking the Doctor with it. When it burst through the roof, the Doctor clinging on and the sonic falling to the ground, Hanna dived for the sonic, knowing it might fall into one of the holes.

She grabbed the sonic and was inches away from one of the holes, she gave a sigh of half relief and then got to her feet again, looking up through the hole in the roof and to the Doctor for dear life. "Doctor!" She shouted, knowing she could try doing something with the sonic, or hurry back to the TARDIS. But she couldn't pilot the TARDIS herself, and what was she to do with the sonic? She thought for a second and smiled. "Maybe. Just maybe." She inspected the sonic quickly finding the way to activate it. Once it glowed a second, she smiled and pointed it up at the Doctor and the thing. If she was lucky, the jet pack of the thing would malfunction because of the sonic. She turned the sonic on and crossed the fingers of her free hand. "Please work. Please work." She whispered, hoping she had chosen the right thing.

Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Consequences of Vortex Manipulation   Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeSun Jun 30, 2013 8:35 pm

The figure roared with anger as it's jet pack malfunctioned because of Hanna's activation of the sonic screwdriver. The pack, The Doctor and the figure wavered, shaking violently back and forth causing The Doctor to quickly slip off and fall to the weak wooden floor below while the figure and the pack raced upwards then to the left, smoking pouring from it's sides. With a loud crash, The Doctor fell through the weakened wood and straight through to the dirt floor below. He groaned and within a minute of following through, slapped his hands on the edges of what remained of the flooring above him and forced himself slowly up, "Never doing that again!" he grunted as he rose above the hole and unstably stood up, his legs still shaking.

The Doctor forced a smile and a chuckle as he glanced over to Hanna before his eyes and attention turned to the gap in the roof where the figure flew out of, "If it wasn't for you..it may have gotten me killed..or worse..other people outside.". Finally stepping out of the hole, he patted Hanna on the shoulder gently then made his way out of the back door, his eyes immediately dashing up to the sky where a black streak of smoke still lingered, "Come on! Maybe we can see where he was heading!" he called over his shoulder.

Without thinking further, The Doctor ran out of the alley way which the back door of the broken down building lead to, and turned his attention once more to the sky where he pointed out the direction of the streak with his index finger. "There!" He exclaimed, following the streak not only with his index finger but also his eyes until it stopped and plummeted down to the houses below, "But where was he heading?" he asked himself before taking a step forward and following the streak and looking past that to where the figure might have gone if Hanna did not interfere.

The streak lead directly to the tallest building in the city, it's greatness looming over them as The Doctor gazed up at it, "The consulate building.." he hissed, his eyes darting down as his mind connected pieces, "No...Yes! No..Yes! Of course! The consulate building isn't just the tallest building but it's the broadcasting signal for all incoming ships..guiding them through the waters and the ever moving current. But! If someone was to place the biomites there with their incredibly strong frequencies..altered to your desire...you could..sink the city..it's dome would fall down. Come on! We've got to beat him there!!!!". He sprang into action as if he had never been sent through plaques of wood just moments before as he dashed down the streets, weaving past groups of people, his attention and eyes set on the consulate building which loomed overhead.

Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Consequences of Vortex Manipulation   Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeWed Jul 03, 2013 8:57 pm

She let out a yelp as the figure roared and watched, holding the screwdriver tight in her hand, which was now at her side, as the Doctor and the figure wavered in the are. She was glad she had gotten the screwdriver to work for her in the way she had wanted it to, but not so glad that she had now caused the Doctor to fall. She jumped back, careful of the holes in the floor, as the Doctor plummeted downward and through the floor below, giving a slight glance towards the sky, up at the figure. Her attention was soon turned back to the Doctor, whom she was glad to see was rising from beneath the wooden boards, the feeling of knowing she had done the right thing settling in, even if she had caused him to fall from such a height.

She gave him a small smile back and then too, turned her attention to the gap where the figure had once been. Hanna nodded, glad to have save dhim and the others that could still possibly be hurt. One danger avoided, but the others still remained, they still needed to catch the villain on this adventure. "Happy to help." She said before following after  the Doctor to the alley and giving a look up to the sky, seeing the black streak of smoke. She had seen it at a glance from inside, but out here she could see it much better, able to identify the direction the figure was going. But the Doctor was already ahead of her. She listened as the Doctor talked, trying to decipher where the figure had been heading. Once he had, Hanna gave a light smile and chased after the Doctor again.

She knew that whatever the figure was planning to do was bad, but the Doctor had said that the biomites could sink the city, who would want to sink the city while they were inside? But then again, they would have a means of escape themselves. So, how did they plan on escaping after they had set the biomites in place? And where was it?

Hanna thought all of this as she ran, catching up to the Doctor and keeping a few paces behind him, weaving through the groups of civilians that had no idea what danger they were in. Hopefully they could save them, the Doctor and her. Hopefully this city wouldn't sink. She made her way around a group of the civilians and found herself looking at the consulate building, that had been what he had called it, right? it had to be, that's where they were heading, and so was the figure, the trail of fading black smoke the proof of it. The screwdriver still clasped in her hands, she followed the Doctor, off to save this world. To save this city.

The stairs of the consulate building fell back under the heel of The Doctor's shoes as he raced up the stairs and then eventually through the lobbies set of automatic doors, a gush of cooling air immediately hitting his face a she entered. Without a further thought in mind, he rushed over to the elevator and stopped the door from shutting just inches before it did; it slid back open, much to the dislike of the passengers inside before The Doctor flashed them his psychic paper. "Police. Special emergency, we need this elevation pod immediately, sorry for the inconvenience in advance, another one will be on it's way shortly" He told them in a firm toned voice.

Many of the passengers inside of the pod glanced at each other before moving out but eventually they all moved out of the pod, allowing The Doctor and Hanna plenty of space as The Doctor pressed the button for the roof. As the elevator roared upwards to the roof of the consulate building, The Doctor turned to Hanna, "Now i want you to listen and listen very closely" he began, "I want you to stay close. Do everything i tell you to if i tell you. This city is counting on us..millions and millions of people resting on our shoulders.." he paused, "And yes..it's always like this".

She stopped at the bottom of the stairs to the consulate building and looked up, taking in the view before she ran up them after the Doctor. As she reached the top of the stairs, she saw the Doctor was already inside the building, Hanna noticing the groups of people inside and the small details most people missed, like the color of the floor of the walls. Something ordinary people paid no attention to. She went through the automatic doors, welcoming the rush of cool air of her face. She hurried over to the elevator, of which she had noticed the Doctor clearing of people, telling them something she hadn't been close enough to hear. once she reached the elevator, which was empty except for her and the Doctor, she took a deep breath and watched as he pressed a button.

The feeling of going upwards made her stomach twist, she wasn't particularly fond of heights...in a way. She could go up really high, but being real close to the edge gave her that feeling of falling, even if she wasn't. She stayed standing where she was, but looked over at the Doctor as he spoke. She nodded when he told her to stay close, "Trust me, as long as we're this high, I won't have much choice but to stay close to you." She muttered under her breath, hoping he hadn't heard her. She smiled, to cover the small feeling, and nodded again. "I couldn't imagine it any other way, where would the fun in that be?" She said more than asked, looking up.

The Doctor smirked before the elevator came to a complete stop, it's doors opening with a hiss as a rush of cool air brushed over the bodies of The Doctor and Hanna as they stepped through. Immediately the sight of the figure hovering over the antenna atop the roof hit the eyes of The Doctor as he rushed over to the edge of the device, looking up at the figure who was slowly inserting the biomites into the antenna and signal disputer, which constantly sent out a pulse of blue light which encompassed the entire city, creating the dome, "You can stop this now!!!" he shouted up to the figure who glanced down to The Doctor and menacingly laughed through his helmet, "Never! This is my destiny!!" he proclaimed.

Releasing a sigh, The Doctor placed his foot on the antenna and got a firm grip onto it before making his climb up towards the figure, pausing as his mind received an idea. Peering back down to Hanna, he flipped out his sonic screwdriver and gently dropped it down to her, "Whatever happens, i need you to make sure the biomites do not get sent into that signal. Just activate it in the direction of the blue light every time it fluctuates". Once giving Hanna her objective, The Doctor turned his attention over to the figure, his eyes fixated on it as he climbed up and eventually caught a handful of the figures clothes, turning it's attention over to him.

The figure kicked at The Doctor, trying to get him off as The Doctor tried to reach out to the biomites who were still inside of their containment pods, having been inserted into the socket but not activated. Unbeknownst to The Doctor, the figure wore a vortex manipulator on it's wrist which it used to send a punch down to The Doctor; he instinctively moved out of the way, pushing it away from from him, causing the manipulator to hit the side of the antenna, activating it, the coordinates spinning on it's screen, completely unbeknownst to both the figure and The Doctor.

Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Consequences of Vortex Manipulation   Consequences of Vortex Manipulation - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeWed Aug 14, 2013 2:32 pm

As the elevator rose upward, thoughts of how all this could go wrong flew through her mind, the gears turning into the deadly zone of doubt. As the air hit her face, she brought forth her attention, pushing back the doubtful thoughts and stepped out of the elevator. Immediately, she tensed up, watching as the Doctor made his way over to the base of the antenna. Even though she hadn't looked over the edge yet, she could feel that they were high up. It was something she could just tell. Stupid over active imagination. Sometimes, is was just a pest. A pestilence. But, other times, it was the best thing she could possibly have. It kept her....entertained. Which is why, as the Doctor shouted up to the hovering figure, Hanna saw in her mind the horrible things that would happen if they didn't stop this person.

Relaxing her shoulders, completely forgetting about the fact that they were so high up, she made her way over to the antenna just as she noticed the Doctor climbing up it. "Because falling through the floor isn't enough of a warning not to climb up." She muttered under her breath, watching as the man she had only previously met risked his life, yet again, with the danger of heights. That was when she lowered her eyes only slightly, seeing exactly how high up they were. Muscles tensed, minds went into overdrive in the deadly thoughts. Oh, how stupid was she? "Brave. Be brave. People are at stake and they don't need you mucking it up because you're scared of bloody heights." She told herself, looking back up at the Doctor tossed his sonic screwdriver down to her. Catching it, she smiled. At least she knew how to make it work. So, she pointed it up at the place where the figure was placing the biomites into the antenna. "Stop the signal." She whispered to herself, watching the Doctor climb, while keeping her eyes on the figure and the antenna at the same time.

Hanna grimaced at the figure kicked at the Doctor. "Don't fall. Not again." She said, turning her attention to the task the Doctor had given her. And as soon as she saw something hit the antenna, she jumped a bit, the thought of them both falling to their deaths running through her mind. She mentally cursed her brain and turned the sonic on. "Please, please work. Don't need a million deaths in one day." She breathed, knowing full well that if they did, she'd feel the guilt for the rest of her life, however long that lasted while she was with this mad man.

((You replied to this RP exactly a month after i did Razz))

The biomites exploded with a spark, sending the figure backwards with a cry, "Aghh!!" he proclaimed, The Doctor was quick to extend his arm, grabbing him by the edge of his protective vest. The man dangled from The Doctor's left hand; The Doctor trying furiously to keep the man up, his eyes closed hard, "I can't hold him much longer!!!" he exclaimed before finally, the vortex manipulator activated, engulfing the three just as The Doctor fell off of the antenna. One moment, The Doctor and the man were plummeting to the pavement around the building, Hanna on the rooftop watching; the next, they fell onto sandy white beaches, the crystal blue ocean breaching just before their feet.

The Doctor lay on his back, groaning, the man not a foot away from him, completely unconscious, his slow breathes being covered by the sounds of the repeating waves.

(And again, I reply late. -_- Sorry)

Salt. It smelled like salt. Tasted like sand. Groaning down in her throat, she pushed herself to a sitting position, spitting sand from her mouth. It didn't completely register with her about what had happened until she saw the two people, the Doctor and the figure. Using her hands to push herself to her feet, she moved over to the Doctor, brushing off some sand as she went. Yes, she did wonder exactly how they had gotten there. And yes, she didn't wonder where 'there' was. But she felt that there were more important matters at hand than silly questions. Looking over at the figure as she stood a few feet from the Doctor, she felt horrible. Maybe that was because sand tasted like...well like sand. Or maybe it was because she didn't really know this man and could possibly end up dead. But she settled on one thing. It was probably the way they had gotten here. Considering some things.

Looking down at the Doctor, she raised and eyebrow. "That." She said, meaning the means of travel they just took. "Was horrible." She continued, looking over at the figure, wondering if it would come to any time soon. Turning her attention to where she had been before, she saw something sticking out of the sand. Going over and picking it up, she smiled. Once back at the Doctor's side, she waved it. "Might come in handy." She said, looking at their surroundings. The sand was white, but not as white as snow and the ocean water, wow. But was caught her attention most were the rocks. Or cliffs. Or...mountains? They were odd looking to her, not quite like rocks. Looking down at the Doctor, she held out her hand. "I'd call you a hero, but I don't think hero's usually have sand in their hair. And," Nodding toward the figure. "Not done yet. Are you?" She said, not saying 'we'. She felt, at the moment, it was more a 'him' than a 'them'. All she had done was use his sonic screwdriver while he dangled in the air from an antenna.

((:3))

The Doctor groaned and forced himself up to a sitting position as Hannah returned to his side with his sonic screwdriver and with a smile, he gently took it from her then glanced over to the man who laid unconscious on the sandy beach. "Some sort of teleportation" He reasoned, getting up to his feet and walking over to the man where he immediately recognized a device located on his wrist and ripped it off then showed it to Hannah for her to see, "Vortex manipulator...like a mobile TARDIS but worse. It rips a hole in the time vortex and shots you through it..popping you up at a set located or..anywhere". Peering around the beach, The Doctor rubbed the back of his head, dangling the manipulator in his hand as he walked to the edge of the crystal clear waters, "I know where we are!!" he suddenly proclaimed upon his eyes catching the glimpse of the rock formations in the background and the shining coral reefs wavering beneath the waters surface.

"Glata Flokor!" The Doctor explained, spreading his arms out happily with a grin as he turned back to Hannah and the, still unconscious, man, "At least he had a set destination to a nice place" he chuckled. Suddenly the man began to stir causing The Doctor to release a sigh as he tucked his sonic screwdriver back into his coat pocket. "I wouldn't usually do this unless i have to and i can't call the TARDIS here..to far away for the screwdrivers signal" He began again, walking over to the man, kneeling down to him, placing one hand on his chest and with the other began to set the coordinates on the wrist watch like device. "Take my hand..it makes the trip much more bearable when you have someone to lean up against. Vortex manipulation is tough and it's a horrible piece of technology...." The Doctor spoke to Hannah, looking over to her as he attached the device to his wrist then offered his hand to her, "Allons-y?"

She looked around the area, "Glata Flokor?" She said to herself, sounding out the name before looking back at the Doctor. She saw he was walking towards the figure and she took a step towards him herself, not sure what to do exactly. "Vortex Manipulation?" She asked, walking over to him as he set in the coordinates. "Like the Vortex energy and Time vortex you told me about when we met?" She asked, tilting her head slightly to the side. Her mind made the connections before she stopped, pulling herself back to what the Doctor had said. What was it? Allen....Allon...Allons-y! Yes! That was it! She smiled and nodded and took his hand. "Oui, nous allons voyager à travers le temps et l'espace!" She replied, happy she recalled at least a bit of French class from school.

(Okay, sorry that it's short...)

The Doctor nodded with a grin before activating the vortex manipulator, sending the trio back to the city where immediately they were surrounded. Gazing up, The Doctor placed his hand over his eyes to shield him from the suns glare before immediately noticing something present that was not there before. "Hang on" He mumbled, taking a step forward as the police grabbed the man, still laying unconscious on the floor, and drug him off, "Smell that? That..that...breeze! Atlantic! This is the Atlantic Ocean!". Spinning around to take in the full view, The Doctor's grin pulled out to its full extent. The city was now surrounded completely by the Atlantic Ocean, the shield still up but the city no longer underwater, "Hannah..." he called back to Hannah, "I think we just solved the legend of the lost city of Atlantis" he added, turning around to her.

The landing was definitely softer, that was for sure. And this time, she didn't get a mouthful of sand either. But hey! Sand was definitely better than a lungful of water! Which...oh! She Turned around and smiled, giving a laugh. The taste of salt lingered in the air like a forgotten kiss that hadn't been quite received yet, and never would. And the sound of lapping waves? or was that just her imagination? And only the Doctor's shouts got her to come full circle and understand. "No...that can't be possi...well..." She thought back to the TARDIS and everything so far. Anything could be possible. Just don't apply logic and Voila! You have impossible things that are possible! She smiled and laughed again. At the sound of her name, she snapped her attention to the Doctor and smiled again, raising her eyebrows. Her mind made quick calculations, some facts not adding up, but this was the Doctor. He may not be right all the time, but give him the benefit of the doubt. He knew more than she did. And that was fact. "What's the fun in finishing? I think the solving bit was better." She said, looking around. "Wonder how it sunk..." She said looking up at the sky and at the shield. 'So they were prepared?' She wondered, watching as several civilians walked by, giving her an odd look. Okay sure, she was probably covered in sand, but that was no reason to look at her funny. The breeze picked up a bit and she took a gulp of air. "Alright," she said, turning to face the Doctor, "We found Atlantis. But I have one question. Well, more than one. But anyways. Do we get to SEE Atlantis now?" She asked, hopeful to see the city of legend.
