Family: Her parent's names are David and Janet Elmstone. She has two older brothers named Keith and Daniel (Wife: Helen, children Emily and David), and a younger brother named Josh.
Personality: Charity has a very sweet and bubbly personality. She is very outgoing and almost always cheerful, enthusiastic, and friendly. She tries to always be optimistic and to help anyone she can. She tries always to be kind and see the best in people. She is generally fearless, and brave when others are afraid. She likes to explore new places and is eager to have adventures and see new things. She always tries her best with everything she does, and it could be said that her only fear is a fear of failure.
Strengths: She can almost always find something good in a person, or she can find something nice to say about someone. She can usually find a 'silver lining' for any cloud.
Weakness: She can be a little too optimistic and cheerful to a fault at times. She knows how to use weapons, but is too kind-hearted to be able to kill someone. She also has a slight weakness for sweets.
Likes: Space/stars/astronomy, animals, exploring, making friends, helping others, cookies and sweets
Dislikes: bullies, people not liking her/being mean to her, being stuck somewhere, failure at anything

History: Charity grew up on a small farm, about a half-hour drive from the large city of Falence, Astronia. She and her brothers were all homeschooled, and rarely had anyone else to play with but each other. The siblings were all close, and often would play outside in the forest or fields. Charity grew up as more of a tomboy than a young lady, although her mother tried to get her to be more girlish, she just wasn't interested. She learned a little bit of how to cook, but she was much more interested in learning how to camp and fish and cook over a campfire than sit inside and do girly things like cook and sew.

When Charity was a teenager, her father got sick and died. Charity was deeply saddened by her father's death, having been very close to him. But she also knew that he wouldn't want her to be sad and mourn for too long over his death, so she tried not to let anyone see how sad she was. The next year, her middle brother Daniel got married, and then her oldest brother Keith joined the Imperial Naval Forces. Charity had to stay at home for a few more years, but when she turned 20 she quickly signed up for the Imperial Forces as well.

It was less common for women to join the forces, but not unheard of. Charity shared a dorm with 24 other women, and it took her a little while to adjust to being around so many other women when she'd only ever been around her mother, father, and brothers. However, she quickly befriended everyone she met, and throughout the six months of training she usually did better at everything than even the boys that were training with her. Having grown up with three brothers, she only knew how to be competitive and be better than the boys, so she often pushed herself to be better; stronger, faster, tougher, etc. This caused her to have some trouble with boys not asking her on dates, and it didn't help her that she had a tendency to hang out with some guy friends, who begin to view her more as a friend or sister that they talk to about their dates, rather than asking her out on a date, while other guys would see her hanging out with those guys and decide she must have a boyfriend, so then they wouldn't ask her out.

After finishing her basic training, she graduated and went home for the two week break before going on to the more specialized training for the Galactic branch of the Forces, where she again determined to be the best. After her six months of training, Charity finally graduated to the lower rank of the Imperial Galactic Forces, and then was stationed at the spaceport on Astronia.

Despite being disappointed about not being posted on a spaceship, she remained cheerful and optimistic and did her job to the best of her ability. After three years of being stationed there, she finally got her wish; she was promoted and given a position on a spaceship called the ISS Destiny. Excited about her dream coming true at last, Charity was determined to be the very best that she could be. She learned her duties well and quickly, and at last they had their first mission, escorting a shipment of dairy products from Luvecem to Aquoshillon by spaceship. However, the shipment was attacked by Strabotunians. Charity and her crew fought hard but their ship was damaged, and then the captain was killed.

During the chaos, Charity realized the ship was unmanned and going down, so she yelled for someone to take the controls, but everyone was either busy fighting, injured, or dead. So she ran to the controls and managed to avoid the ship crashing into a nearby asteroid, but she wasn't trained for piloting and she didn't know all of the necessary controls and unintentionally led the attacking ship away from the merchant ship, which allowed it to continue on to its destination. However, the ISS Destiny was badly damaged and still under heavy attack, and eventually the enemy ship rammed into the Destiny, and Charity was thrown from the captain's chair. She was momentarily knocked unconscious, and the ship crashed down to another planet, killing almost everyone on board.. Charity being one of the only survivors. (and here is where her history ends and her ongoing story will begin)

Everything looks good, I'm only curious what century she's currently in/from.

I hadn't really thought much about what time period it would be on earth. She's from Astronia, and they're on a different year system than Earth, and much more technologically advanced. So, she could be in modern day times for Earth, I guess. I probably need to work on that part and decide on it for sure.. Razz
