The Greatest Moose of All (Ten, Charity, Sayo, Robin)

"You're going to love this, my Lady love!" Sayo crowed, running around the TARDIS console like an excitable child. Granted the fact that he had just finished shoveling down an entire sundae, complete with chocolate syrup and cherries, just a few moments ago could explain that.

The fact that he still had syrup staining the front of his grey shirt also pointed to how messy he was. Not that he noticed once his mind locked onto a specific idea. And that idea happened to be the reason the TARDIS was flying through the vortex at breakneck speeds.

A low whine from the console caused Sayo to skid to a stop in front of the monitor as he went to run past it, eyes quickly scanning the information before a wide grin broke out over his face. "Robin! Robin! Stop screaming at me and let's go, we're about to-"

A resounding thud and sharp jolt that knocked him to his back cut him off, ringing silence aside of a few beeps and groans from the ship echoing around the control room.

Sitting up with a low groan, Sayo rubbed his head lightly before remembering his companion and scrambled to his feet. "Robin! Robin, where are you?" Running his hands through his hair, he ran around the console, looking under it for whatever reason while he called for her. "Come on! We have a planet full of medical herbs you said you wanted to see, remember? Don't tell me you're still mad I spilled your ice cream..."

Then the panic started setting in when she still didn't answer, not the customary cursing or insults that he expected. "...Robin? Please don't be dead, don't die, don't die because if you die, then I'll be upset and you won't be here to slap me out of it and then it'll just get worse when I remember that-" Rambling, he scrambled around the console room before spotting a familiar plume of feathers and breathed out a low breath of relief.

"Don't scare me like that, Lady love!"

What an absolute mess.

Flying down the corridor towards the bathroom, Chris scowled at the ice cream stain Sayo'd left on her shorts. While she didn't expect any less, at this point, she couldn't say she wasn't frustrated. With all her other clothes in the wash, the best she could do was to try and scrub it out with a washcloth. This wouldn't even had been a problem if she'd told him she didn't want any ice cream.

Landing with her talons clicking against the bathroom tile, she snatched a towel out of the cupboard and ran it under the sink for a moment. "I'll have to convince him he's getting diabetes or something," she grumbled, wiping aggressively at the chocolate spot. "Or figure out how to keep the TARDIS away from all the sugar traces in the universe..." Sighing heavily, she grimaced at the wet spot on the edge of her shorts. Good enough. She ran the rag under the faucet again ("What am I, his f****** mother?") before flying off back towards the console.

As she entered, her ears caught sound of "Robin, stop screaming at me!" and she rolled her eyes. Of course he hadn't noticed she'd gone. Why would he? Before she could correct him, though, the ship lurched, sending her crashing into the railing.

Chris groaned, rubbing her forehead where it had collided. "...What the f*** did you do?" With a heaving sigh, she clung to the bars in front of her and dragged herself back to her feet. "I said I wanted to go see the herbs, I didn't mean I wanted to need them," she grumbled, flying up onto the console platform. "Here, jacka**." She passed him the wet cloth. "Fix that before we get out of here." She gestured to the stain on his shirt. "I know you like to act like an idiot, but you don't need to look like one, too," she huffed.

A peaceful rain forest hummed with it's usual sounds, birds chirping, snakes hissing, branches snapping under the weight of swinging animals and a screaming Doctor..wait a screaming Doctor?

The Doctor dashed across the rain forest floor, holding a jar with both hands extended outwards, inside the jar an elongated serpentine type reptile; it's jaws oozing with saliva as it snapped at The Doctor. Three armored guards chased after The Doctor not far behind, their blasters drawn and faces plastered with anger, "Get back here!" they barked.  Just inches away from biting The Doctor's hands or face, the serpent ran out of space and hand to retreat back into the jar. "Aaahh!! Stop trying to bite me! I'll give you a banana i promise!" The Doctor proclaimed as he bolted into the open doors of the TARDIS, "Charity!!! I could use that lid right about now!!".

Setting the jar down on the steel ramp below him, The Doctor took a step back and reached into his pockets, desperately trying to find a banana. The serpent slowly rose up from the jar, it's yellow eyes glaring at The Doctor, "Charity!" he called once more before finally finding the banana. Tossing it up, the serpents eyes locked onto it's prey as it fell down towards it. Extending upward, the serpent caught the banana in it's mouth and fell back into the jar, water splashing up from the rim of the jar as it returned to the depths of the jar. "There he is!" Proclaimed a voice from behind The Doctor, the guards had caught up and marched towards the TARDIS from a few feet away, The Doctor's eyes growing wide as he looked behind him. Grinning, The Doctor waved his hand at them, "Sorry! Love to chat but we've gotta Allons-y!" he called out to them before snapping his fingers which caused the TARDIS doors to slam shut and lock in place.

Charity was barely a step behind the Doctor, keeping just to his left as they ran through the forest. She turned to look at him as he asked for the lid.
"Lid!?" She asked, but then fell back a step when she ducked a blaster shot aimed at them. She didn't have time to even think about returning fire even if she'd wanted to. Instead she focused her efforts on making it into the Tardis. She ran into the ship and skidded to a halt once she had reached the safety within, turning back she was just in time to see the Doctor do his thing to make the doors close. She let out a sigh of relief and leaned against one of the support beams in the Tardis' console room, catching her breath.

"Stop yelling, I'm right here." She answered him. "I can't give you the lid," She added, frowning a little. "You dropped it in the thing, remember?" She waved her hand back toward the direction they had come. "What does a snake want with a banana, anyway? I thought they were meat eaters?" She frowned in confusion, trying to understand. "Could you please explain things now that we aren't running from the guards and things?" She asked, trying to figure out what the purpose was of stealing a snake. "Also, where are we going now?" She added, curious.

Fumbling with the rag, Sayo glanced down at his shirt and blinked at the stain sitting there. "Where did that come from? I swear I didn't spill a drop." Muttering under his breath, he rubbed at the chocolate beginning to dry on the cloth furiously before growling and stripping out of it and tossing it to the side. "I'll just go get another one, hold on!" Running out of the room, he made his way down the hall towards his room and slammed the door open, a quick glance around showed the floor littered with dirty clothes and other random items his attention had been held by while Robin slept only to be tossed aside when he grew bored of it.

Stumbling over the mess, he made his way to the closet and yanked it open, eyeing the clothes before yanking out a bright purple shirt and a suit jacket and yanked them on while trying not to trip over everything as he made his way back out the door. "Ahhh! Too much stuff in here!" Tripping over a transistor radio, he stumbled out of his room and fell flat on his back in the hallway with a groan. "Lady, you haven't been cleaning up!" He accused the ship, one hand raising up to point at the ceiling above him, her answering hum sounded accusing and made him wince.

"Alright, sorry, yes, my mistake." He mumbled sheepishly, clambering back to his feet and finished yanking the shirt on and tugged the jacket on over top while he made his way back to the control room, a wide grin spreading across his face once he caught sight of Robin still there. "Where was I?" He asked suddenly, bouncing up to her side and pulled the screen over in front of them. "Ah, the planet of... Medicine." He waved at the image in front of them, his words falling lamely before he glanced at the screen when Gallifreyan popped up. "Traxion!"

Chris rolled her eyes as Sayo retreated to change his shirt. Drama queen. He could have just wiped it out. He better leave her time to do the laundry when they get back. Sighing, she flopped into the seat near the console, waiting impatiently for him to return.

She perked up as he reentered the room, raising an eyebrow at the jacket. She was unaware that it was fashion week. Sitting up, she brightened as he introduced the planet. "Traxion? Sparrow's been there! He said it was a doctor's dream," she cooed, getting up from her seat. "Can I bring anything back? Oh, I should get Crow some theliops leaves- she doesn't believe they exist," she rambled, flying towards the door before pausing and turning over her shoulder. "They totally do, right?" Her eyebrows were scrunched in a way that dared him to challenge her.

The Doctor reached into his jacket and pulled out the psychic paper, showing it to Charity before moving over to the control panel and yanking the main lever down with authority. "Got a psychic message from Jim the Fish. Told me they were going to execute her for eating all the bananas on their farm, now i can't have that happen...especially if Jim and her have a love connection" The Doctor replied to Charity, looking back to the scanner before continuing, "Don't ask, i don't want to imagine them two together..".

His eyes danced across the screen as he maneuvered past Gallifreyan symbols until he finally found what he was looking for, "Aha! Traxion! That's where Jim told me to drop her off...bit weird to leave her here though" he deduced. The Doctor looked over to the snake, who glared at The Doctor from the safety of her jar, "What? Don't give me that look. I told you i ran out of bananas but you still gobbled it down! Not my fault you didn't listen" he argued with the serpent. Groaning, The Doctor turned back to the controls and yanked down the main lever once more, setting the course and locking it in doing so, "Last time!" he proclaimed as he sauntered around the controls, "Last time i'm doing a errand for Jim. He'll be lucky if he gets pebbles instead of flakes next time i see him".

The serpent slowly descended back into the water inside of her jar, a sniff of disapproval exerting from her nostrils before becoming submerged under water. Bubbles blew to the top of the surface them popped one at a time, which caught The Doctor's attention from across the control panel, "Oi! Language!" he called out without looking up from the controls.

Charity wondered who Jim the Fish was, but she didn't ask. She nodded slowly at the Doctor's explanation, and read the paper that he showed her.
"Alright." She nodded, understanding a little bit more now, but there were still questions not answered. "So, the big deal with the bananas?" She asked him, confused and curious about this whole ordeal. She figured that she had helped him without question in this whole.. rescue mission? And now, surely, was entitled to a few answers. "Where's Traxion?" She grinned at the thought of going to a brand new planet. What would they find here? She was excited and eager to see this place.

She grinned in amusement, watching the Doctor talk to the snake and watching the snake in the jar.
"So what are we doing, taking her to Traxion and.. then find Jim? Or what?" She asked, wondering what the plan was. "How do you know what she says, anyway?" She asked, going over to watch the Doctor at the controls. This was far more exciting than the things at home, after being stationed on a colony planet where hardly anything ever happened. She didn't know if she would ever get put back on a spaceship, but at least she could travel with the Doctor and see new planets and explore as much as she wanted, while also helping people at the same time. That was the best thing she could imagine!

Smiling like he knew a secret, Sayo waved at the door across the room from him. "Why don't we go find out, Lady Love?" With a wink, he bound around the console and yanked the door open with a flourish, eyes eagerly scanning the trees in front of them. "Looks like we landed in one of the wooded areas here, plenty to find, Robin." Moving back to her side, he grabbed her hand and started tugging, excited like a child as he lead her outside, the doors shutting behind them as soon as they set foot on the moss below them.

Trees stretched tall above them, growing for what seemed like miles, the tops brushing through clouds that gathered overhead. Dropping Robin's hand, Sayo bounced in one place, spinning around in a circle before spotting a blue fern-like plant and darted over to it, fingers running along it's leaves with excitement. "Look! Look! Abentine! It makes the perfect cure all when dried and boiled in a tea! And this!" He crouched down in the dirt, not caring one bit if he stained his pants. "Tharium! The cure for the common cold!"

Crawling through the bushes, he reached out and picked the purple and yellow flower before standing up and moving over to stand in front of Robin, eyes dancing with excitement as he held it out in both hands for her to see. "Have you ever used this before, Robin? There's a planet, a large one with so many space ports they stretch into space, that prize these above anything else. A desert planet, so ice is a rarity, these flowers cost more than ice there. They would trade an entire shipment of materials and food for one of these flowers."

Chris rolled her eyes as Sayo drug her out of the ship, shaking her wrist free so she could fly on her own. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. She stared in awe at the abundance of life stretching up towards the sky. "Holy s***," she murmured, flying to catch up with the Time Lord. She laughed as he zoomed through explanations of plants - only one of which she had recognized so far. When he returned from some bushes sporting a large purple flower, she rolled her eyes at the dirt he had already accumulated on his clothes. He had literally just changed into those!

"What could possibly be that impressive...?" she murmured, reaching out hesitantly to feel one of the petals. They were rougher than they looked. "What does it do?" She looked up into his eyes, face full of wonder and excitement. Her wings couldn't help but flutter a bit. "If it's something ridiculous like curing bug bites, I will actually die of laughter."

The Doctor smirked, "I speak snake..well...partially. There's so many different varieties sometimes it's hard to tell which one they are speaking" he replied to Charity as he raced across the controls before yanking down the main lever. Hanging onto the control console, The Doctor focused on the controls as the TARDIS zoomed towards its destination with break neck speeds; the serpent barely able to stay in her jar with all the thrashes. She hissed annoyingly, "I know, i know!" The Doctor replied back to her just before a final thud signified a successful landing, "There! No need to get antsy, we've landed...and by the looks of it we've parked just outside the forest of flowers. Been a long time since i've been here, don't know what could be outside of those doors...".

Trialing off towards the end, The Doctor looked over to Charity, grinning from ear to ear before bolting for the ramp and grabbing his trench coat. As he flipped on his favorite coat, The Doctor looked over to the serpent, his eyebrow arching as he pointed his index finger at her, "Now behave! Can't have you getting snappy with me while i take you to Jim. It's bad enough he's made at me for not going tap dancing with him last time". Grabbing the jar with both hands, The Doctor headed out of the TARDIS, leaving the door open for Charity behind him as he stepped out onto the mossy surface of the surrounding forest.

Birds hummed their chirpy tunes, bugs buzzed and hovered around their favorite pollinated flowers which covered the forest floor with various colors and sizes. Ranging from mixed dark colors, to bright colors, the flowers hung not only from the trees above but also were found rooted on the forest floor; their beauty undeniable. "Many developed civilizations come here to make medicines from the plants here. Traxion is the third planet in the Torajii system...nice galaxy..best stay away from it's sun though, bit cranky. Many call this the medicine planet like i just said..ingredients found here are extremely rare and often very pricey. Wonder why Jim had us meet here? Unless i read the message wrong...".

Flipping out his psychic paper, The Doctor read over the note he had received earlier; the serpent hissing at him and stretching out to try and read the pamphlet, "Oi! I think i know Traxion when i see it okay?" The Doctor retaliated. The serpent hissed back at The Doctor before descending back into the waters of its jar, "Of course it isn't Jim's hand writing, it's a psychic message...bloody snake" The Doctor mumbled.

Charity grinned a little to hear the Doctor claim to speak 'snake'. It seemed so funny to think of a person speaking Snake's language. If she had been from Earth, she might have asked if he was a parseltongue, but alas she had no knowledge of the Harry Potter books. She hastily grabbed onto something when the ship began to take off toward it's destination. Having traveled with him a few times now, she was aware of the need to hold onto something or get thrown around the room. She wasn't too eager to get any bruises, so she held onto a support beam as tight as she could until they had landed. She reluctantly let go once it seemed safe.
"Is.." She thought for a moment before realizing she didn't actually know the serpent's name. "Is she alright?" She asked, indicating the jar of irritated serpent.

She watched in amusement as the Doctor scolded the snake for its language, and then proceeded to carry on a conversation with it. She laughed lightly as she watched him take off out of the doors, carrying the jar. Not wanting to miss out on anything new and exciting, Charity hastily followed after them. She stopped and stared with wide, wondering eyes as she took in the beautiful planet before her.
"Ohhh! It's so beautiful!" She grinned widely, looking all around. She went to inspect a very pretty flower nearby, and then looked upward to try and catch a glimpse of the birds that she could hear chirping. "This place is amazing!" She exclaimed happily. She felt like bouncing a little, and was eager to explore more of this planet.

Sayo laughed and shook his head, hair slipping in front of his eyes for a moment before he flicked it back out of the way, excitement bubbling up inside of him as he motioned for Robin to take the flower from him. "It's a desert planet, lots of venomous beasties and bugs. I suppose it could be used for bug bites, but!" He held up a finger, his eyes dancing with amusement while he spoke. "It's a main ingredient for poison cures. You always have a bunch of those handy, I thought maybe... Well." He shrugged, suddenly sheepish as he looked back down at the flower with a wry smile. "Thought you could use it in your bag of medical things."

Glancing up at her from under his hair, Sayo offered her a hopeful smile. "And I hope it makes up for the fiasco on that planet... The one we crashed on, with the information trades?" He added hesitantly, things were still a little tense between the two of them after his sudden emotional reveal of why he had been rather... Clingy to her while there. It had been a few weeks at best, but he still tiptoed around her whenever they ended up going somewhere, afraid of saying the wrong thing or doing something that made her angry again.

Last thing he wanted was to drop her back off at home because she demanded it. "So... Do you like it? I can show you more! There's a moss here that cleans dirty cuts without anything, you just put it on and bam! Cleans it by itself. It's living, but only just, a little bit of life keeps it twitching long enough to wipe out any dirt that might be there. Then there's this bush, the berries on it make a good painkiller when mixed with water..." He gently deposited the flower in Robin's hands and rushed off, already plucking a few other plants that he spoke about while he jabbered on nervously.

Chris hadn't spotted his paranoia at first, but she began to frown as it exposed itself. She took the flower carefully, watching as he scurried off to go find some other thing to please her. He looked like he was trying so hard and he really didn't have to. "Hey," she called, carefully tucking the precious flower into her bag. "Are you okay? I think it's time to move on from this," she tried, waddling towards him. "... I mean it's just gonna get weirder if you keep acting like this," she huffed, arms crossing. She took a seat on the grass and patted the spot next to her, trying to get him to calm down for just a second. That ice cream wasn't going to help that.

"Just sit with me for a minute, alright? Let's just take this in," she suggested, trying to offer some sort of sincere smile. Sticking her legs out in front of her, she leaned back onto her arms, tilting her head back to look up at the sky. After a moment she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and tasting the forest air. "You need to be you," she sighed, exhaling and looking back towards Sayo. "I'm not going anywhere, but I just... don't like it when it's weird like this. Chill."

The Doctor squinted his eyes, glancing around the surrounding forest as his ears locked on to nearby voices, "You hear that?" he whispered back to Charity. A tinkle shivered down The Doctor's spine as he slowly moved closer to the voices, making sure to not step on any branches that might give away their position. Then a connection jolted inside of The Doctor that he hadn't felt in a long time, one that nearly made him drop the serpent on the forest floor. Sonya... The word barely slipped out of his mouth as he lunged forward, no completely intent on finding the source of the voices.

A slight hesitation stopped The Doctor from calling out to his old friend as he followed the voices until approaching the edge of the forest. A line of thick brush stood between The Doctor and the vast open field in front of them. In the distance The Doctor could make out two figures, none of which looked like Sonya; The Doctor sighed, "Do you mind holding her for a second, i need to check something" he whispered back to Charity, "I'll explain in a moment".

Closing his eyes, The Doctor tried focusing on sending Sonya a telepathic message, "Where are you?". Opening his eyes once again, The Doctor arched his eyebrow as he focused in on the two figures, "I can feel it Charity...when someone that's my species is near i can feel it..well..usually. This time it's strong, very strong. I think it's my friend but i can't be sure right now..".

Charity paused to listen. She'd been so excited, going on about how beautiful it was here, that she had, at first, not heard anything else. But now that the Doctor mentioned it, she stayed quiet and listened carefully. She wasn't sure what he hear, but she mostly just heard birds and things. But then, she'd come to suspect that his hearing was more acute than hers, so maybe she'd hear something once she started getting closer. She quietly followed the Doctor as he began to walk through the forest, curious about what was going on.

She was a bit surprised when he passed her the snake.
"Uh.. alright." She answered, holding it carefully and not quite sure what else to do. She peered through the bush to see the other two who were out there. She wondered what had made the Doctor so intent all of the sudden. Was it another case of having to rescue something from someone? She glanced around and then focused on the two walking around in the forest ahead of them.

Then she glanced curiously at the Doctor when he said he could feel 'it'. What was it? She gave him a puzzled look before he explained about being able to feel when another of his kind was near. She raised her eyebrows in surprise to hear this, then looked back at the other two. It surely wasn't the one with the wings and feathers. The man, then, must be his friend? But he seemed unsure, and she just nodded in reply to him, not really sure what to say. Besides, it was hard to stay quiet enough not to draw attention to them while also asking questions.

Pausing, Sayo glanced back at Robin and slumped his shoulders, a low sigh slipping out of him as he moved to plop down on the ground beside her. "I... I don't want you to go." He finally murmured, staring at the ground at his feet, fingers picking at the bits of grass still stuck to his pants while he spoke. "I don't want to be alone, that's all, and I-" Pausing mid-sentence, Sayo frowned, a faint tickle at the back of his mind alerting him of someone nearby.

Before he could call out to them, he heard the question in his head and jerked around, trying to pinpoint where the voice came from. Uh, trees? he answered back hesitantly before finally spotting a familiar head of gravity defying hair and jumped to his feet, a wide grin spreading across his face as he reached out to Robin. "Come on! Come on, get up, fly, Lady Love!" He urged her, eyes still locked onto the figure of his friend.

Practically bouncing with excitement, he turned sparkling eyes to Robin as he waited for her to get moving. "Come on! There's someone you have to meet! You'll love him-" Pausing again, he eyed her for a moment, face turning serious. "On second thought, maybe you shouldn't go."

Chris nodded as Sayo spoke, unsure of how to respond to him. She'd already done her fair share of assuring him that she wasn't leaving and she wasn't quite sure what else to say about the matter. Her eyebrows raised in question as he paused, beginning to look around the area. What, was someone here? Was someone listening? Frowning, she turned to look around herself, but didn't see anything even vaguely like a person nearby. As Sayo began to return to his usual enthusiastic shouting, her frown turned to a smirk. Laughing slightly, she took his hand and quite literally dragged herself to her feet, taking a step to steady herself before letting go. She was already rolling her eyes and crossing her arms, prepared to fly after him. She was probably the one person to whom his speed was a blessing rather than a hindrance - at least she didn't have to walk.

It was all fun and games again until he gave her that look. Her expression immediately dropped into one of annoyance.

"Keep up the clingy boyfriend act and I will."

The Doctor received the reply, his mind working on processing the sound of the voice and how distinctly different it was compared to that of Sonya's he was used to. "Wait..hold on.." The Doctor questioned out loud as he stood up and out of cover, "Was that a man's voice?". His eyes danced across the field until landing on two distant figures, who appeared to be speaking with one another.

Looking across the filed, The Doctor eyed the man and the woman curiously, mentally trying to figure out what was going on as he slowly approached them. His eyebrow arched as he got closer, the tingling feeling becoming more and more prominent as he got closer. "Excuse me!" The Doctor called out to them, "I'm looking for a friend, maybe you can help me find her".

Charity watched in some confusion as the Doctor suddenly asked if that was a man's voice. She glanced at him, then looked around.
"I didn't hear anyone.." She replied quietly, unaware that h was talking to people psychically. Watching him suddenly jump up and go toward the people, she stayed where she was for a moment, glancing around while holing the serpent in the jar. Should she follow him? It might be a dangerous situation where he'd rather she stayed where she was. But then, if it was dangerous, he was walking right into it without seeming to have any caution. Plus, he hadn't told her to stay or anything, so why should she?

Standing up, she continued holding the jar he had asked her to hold as she followed after him, a little behind him. She smiled, waving with her free hand, at the two strangers. Whether they were dangerous or not, she thought it best to appear friendly and non-threatening to them so that hopefully they could all get off to a good start.

Waving his hands in front of himself, Sayo winced and backtracked quickly, walking backwards away from the annoyed woman in front of him. "Sorry! I swear, I'll stop... Eventually." He muttered the last word under his breath then spun around and began walking at a clipped pace towards the Doctor and a small woman beside him. Raising his hand over his head, he waved back at Ten's companion and broke into a jog.

Hearing the Doctor's question, a wide grin broke out across Sayo's face as he began sprinting towards his friend. Not even bothering to answer the man, he tackled the Time Lord and locked him in a bear hug, easily picking him up off of his feet and laughing wildly. "Time Boy! It's been ages!" Letting go, he stopped back and looked the Doctor right in the eye with a smug grin.

"Finally the same height as you." Reaching over, he flicked the Doctor's nose and looked over his shoulder at Robin, raising his hand over his head to wave her over. "Lady Love, kick it into high gear! Might have to give you more caffeine in the mornings if you're going to be that slow!"

"Two seconds ago you were telling me to stay here!" Chris yelled back, flying after her friend into the clearing. She landed with a stumble, holding her arms out and swaying before regaining her balance. Brushing a piece of hair out of her face, she looked up and offered a smile to the pair she'd been led to. Looking between them, she could tell Sayo had done something stupid in the time she'd taken to get here.

"He said he knows you. Sorry for just...." She grimaced and gestured to the entirety of Sayo, "This." She looked towards the woman and examined the snake she was carrying. It didn't look particularly pleased to be there, and she wondered if they were kidnapping it from this forest. It was one thing to snag a plant or two, but it was another to take a whole creature.... It was Sayo's friends, though, so she decided to cautiously wait for an explanation before passing judgement.

Winged woman...man flicking me in the nose...same height...transporting this snake...is this some sort of messed up dream? The Doctor thought as he arched his eyebrow towards Sayo, his eyes wide with surprise and confusion, "Okay..not sure.." he mumbled. Suddenly his nose caught wind of a certain smell, it wasn't quite a fragrance but more like a homey smell. The Doctor leaned forward, "Wait...hang on.." he added as he began to circle and sniff Sayo.

Straightening up as he finished his circle, The Doctor became more baffled, "But that's...nooo" a grin began to emerge, "Don't tell me!". Squinting to look into Sayo's eyes, The Doctor made the connection, "It is you! Didn't recognize you with the Adam's apple, i like it..although i must say you've got to fix that carburetor it leaves a residue. Had to fix mine a while back otherwise i'd be walking around smelling like you".

Smirking, The Doctor placed his hands nonchalantly into his pockets as he glanced over to the woman next to Sayo, "And who might this be?" he asked, "Oh! This is Charity by the way! And the snake she's holding is..Jim the fishes girlfriend, i think..or maybe divorced wife, not sure to be honest". The serpent spit water at The Doctor before retreating back into it's jar and away from view.

Sayo grinned at the Doctor and slung an arm around Robin's shoulders, pulling her to his side with a chuckle. "This is my one and only Lady Love, Robin." Then the smile dropped of his face as he tugged her back a step away from the man across from them. "No you can't have her." He added quickly, pointing a finger at his nose. "She's mine, she saved me and you can't have her."

His eyes drifted down to the jar the Doctor had gestured at, a familiar sparkle of excitement sparking in his blue eyes. He could feel his fingers itch with the chance to pick the snake up and cradle it. Despite the many changes he endured during his new regeneration, one thing that never left was his love of snakes. They were adorable and deserved to be held!

"Jim the fish's wife? Shame, she deserves better." He commented loud enough for the snake inside to hear him as he looked up at Charity now, curiously taking in her features and committing them to memory.

Then Sayo bowed slightly and took her hand so he could press it to his forehead with a smile. "A wonderful pleasure to meet someone who can keep up with this maniac. Worse than my brother, sometimes. If you ever get bored..." Winking, he left the suggestion hanging in the air and straightened back up, a second later realization dawning on his face.

"...What do you mean I smell?"

Charity was rather baffled, but also amused, as she watched the things happen. First the strange man came and tackled the Doctor in a hug. She was rather surprised by that, and at first when he was running at him she thought he was attacking him, but then realized he was grinning and then hugging. She relaxed faintly.. fortunately she hadn't even gone for her blaster. She turned her attention next to the winged girl and offered her a smile when she apologized for the man.

Charity couldn't help giving the Doctor an odd look as he circled the man.. sniffing him. She held onto the jar, rather amused by this whole thing, and trying her best not to laugh. The snake spitting water at the Doctor was more than she could take, and she laughed. Finally introduced, she smiled at the strangers.
"Hi." She was slightly puzzled by the guy putting her hand to his forehead, but thought perhaps it was a customary greeting where he was from. "Thanks for the offer but there's never actually a boring moment around him." She grinned. "Actually I went with him to get away from boredom." She added, glancing teasingly at the Doctor, followed by a stifled giggle when the guy suddenly realized the Doctor had said he smelled.

"So, Doctor.. you told them who I am, and who this is," She indicated the jar of serpent. "But you sorta forgot to tell me who your friend is." She pointed out, since she had no idea what to call this guy.
