A low groan echoed through the streets of London as the TARDIS materialized in a small side rode, out of sight from passerby as it finally became solid. Opening the door, Sonya stepped out and studied the area curiously for a moment before nodding to herself and shutting the door tight behind her and slowly making her way into the busy sidewalk, blending in with the crowd, save for her gold eyes as they shone in the late afternoon sun. In all honesty, she rather liked how everyone avoided her, keeping a safe five-foot radius away from her as she walked along. Danger, they sensed it easily, the most primitive part of their minds warning them away from her once they spotted Sonya.
Her eyes flicked across the street towards her destination. A tall office building casting it's shadow onto the ground as the sun vanished behind it, giving the outline of the building an eery glow. Without bothering to look to see if the street was calm, she crossed over to the doors and stepped inside. Knowing full well the shriek of wheels and the crashing of glass was of two cars colliding head-on in an attempt to miss her as she walked in front of them. Walking up to the desk, she pointed over her shoulder at the doors where the wreck could be clearly seen by the woman sitting behind it, a small smile on her face as she got her attention. "I think they need any help, do you happen to have a mobile phone they can use? I don't have one." She said easily, watching as the young woman jumped to her feet and raced out the doors in her rush to help them.
Checking to be sure she wasn't in a position to see her, Sonya slid behind the desk and quickly hacked her way into the server, erasing the president's secretary's name and adding one of her Aliases instead after sending a terminating letter to the girl and president with plausible excuse as to why she should be replaced with the new woman. Standing back up, she resumed her position beside the desk as the woman walked back in and sat down in her seat again. "Now then, Miss. How can I help you today?"
Sonya reached into her pocket and pulled out her psychic paper, showing it to her with an easy smile, her eyes shining brightly as the human looked up into them. "I'm here to replace the receptionist that was recently fired." She said in a smooth tone, working a bit of her own influence into the gaze as the woman's eyes glazed over slightly then resumed their normal luster. "Ah yes, you must be Amee Smith. Welcome to UNIT organizations. Please, the elevators are to your right, take them to the top floor and your desk will be waiting for you in the foyer."
Nodding to her in thanks, Sonya took her paper back and tucked it back into her bag before making her way to the elevators with a cool smile as the old receptionist stepped out of them, her face stained with tears as she took in Sonya's appearance. Without a word to the old employee, she stepped into the lift and pressed the button for the top floor, her eyes remaining locked onto the human's as the doors shut between them. Step one... Complete.

| "You were an easier man to find when I had bad intentions." The Interfector hissed to himself as he leaned over the console, clicking rapidly at the keyboard as information quickly zoomed across his multiple screens. He had to find the Doctor, and quick. The connection with Sonya made it easier for him to gage her location. He wasn't sure why, but she was in UNIT. What did she want with them? His fingers moved faster, reading up on UNIT and their interaction with aliens and, specifically, the Doctor.
"Rassilon, Sonya. Why are you doing this? What is there to gain? Revenge is not what it is cracked up to be. I should know." Regret made itself known then. The Time Lord sighed and finally backed away from the console, running his hands over his face. If worse came to worse, he would stop his wife himself. That term almost didn't fit any more: wife. Though the marriage was unexpected, and though he did a terrible job at showing it at the time, he was glad it was with Sonya. She stopped him from pointlessly harming or getting what he wanted through violent means. Sonya was compassionate and kind, her heart went out to everyone.
Now? No, now she was no better than who he once was. The Interfector planned on returning the favour, to pull her away from violence and harm so she could be reminded how much better living in peace is. At the irony of his thoughts, he chuckled humourlessly. Funny. He would have never thought he would be going on a mission like this...
"To Earth once more, my dear." He commanded his ship, reaching a hand up to stroke the time rotor. The TARDIS whirred and materialized on the now familiar blue and green planet while the Time Lord worked on tracking the Doctor again.

| "Miss. Smith? Can you come in here please, I have something I want to ask you." Mr. Marril stuck his head out of the office door, looking over at Sonya with a slight frown on his face, his eyes not looking up from her desk as she glanced over at him. "Yes, Sir." She said smoothly, rising to her feet and walking over to him, watching as he flinched back when she passed him on the way into his office. "Ah, thank you. Please... Um, take a seat." He stammered, obviously unnerved by her presence as she walked over and sat in the chair across from his desk, her hands folded on her lap as she turned her gold eyes on him, watching as he walked around and sat down in his chair.
"It has come to my attention that you've been sending out emails without my permission or signature to our higher-ups. Status reports and the such, can you explain this to me?" He asked finally, looking down at his folded hands on the desk in front of him. Sonya blinked her eyes and tilted her head to the side, pretending to think over her response before talking finally, her sudden words causing the man to flinch. "I was told when I first started to send in reports about the week. I wasn't aware I had to take them to you for approval and your signature. No one had mentioned anything about it until now." She finally said smoothly, silently urging him with a little psychic nudge to look up at her and stare in her eyes. "In fact, they seemed to like that you didn't know or look over them. Don't you think we should keep them happy?"
The man blinked slightly then nodded, a slightly fazed look coming over his face as he agreed with her. "Yes, yes I suppose your right. Keep up the good work, Miss. Smith. You may go." He added, waving a hand before turning back to his computer and resuming whatever work he was doing before calling her into the room. "Yes, Sir." Sonya said quietly, turning her eyes away from him and standing to walk out before pausing in the doorway, looking over her shoulder at him with a coy smile on her face. "Would you like something to drink, Sir? I think there is a fresh pot of coffee in the kitchen..."
He looked up and glanced over at Sonya, suddenly at ease around her again as his body relaxed visibly in the chair he sat in. "Yes, that would be lovely. Cream and sugar please." Nodding at him quietly, Sonya slipped from his office and went to the elevator, pressing the button for the basement, her coy smile slipping from her face as a scowl replaced it, her gold eyes narrowing at the door to his office before it was blocked by the elevator doors as they closed in front of her.

| The Doctor danced around his TARDIS control console, happily singing along with a song that was blaring across and echoed through the interior of the time machine. "It's good to be a lunatic!" The Doctor joyfully said, matching the words of the song as they echoed outwards, holding a banana in one hand and fiddling with the controls with the other. One bite after another the banana slowly went down until finally leaving nothing but the peel, dangling in The Doctor's left hand as his right hand yanked down on the main lever, sending the TARDIS spiraling through the time vortex, "Alright! So! The planet of orion! Off we go! Ha!" he exclaimed, his mind pushing back the thought of noone else being inside of the TARDIS apart from him.
With a thud and a roar from the time rotor, the TARDIS materialized in downtown London, as it had done countless times before. Walking down the ramp and taking his time to put on his trench coat, The Doctor then turned his attention and focus to the doors before opening them and stepping outside, his eyes immediately squinting to adjust to the light. "Hang on! This..this..this is London!" The Doctor said with a groan, shaking his head as he tossed the banana peel into a nearby trash can, "Why is it always London? Why not..New Zealand or...Germany..well..not Germany..maybe China. Wouldn't mind some good old noodles and samauri..blimey..now i'm sounding stereotypical". Reaching back over his shoulder, he shut the door of the TARDIS before placing both hands nonchalantly into his pockets, sniffing as he began to walk out into the streets crowded with various groups of people of all shapes, sizes, skin tones and abnormalities.

| The Iterfector was pacing in his control room as his TARDIS was left to scan for any signs of the Doctor's. His hands has come up and fisted themselves in his hair as worried lines creased his forehead. It was unnerving that he wouldn't read Sonya's plans even when he prodded her mind. How was she keeping it from him? How? It took loads of energy to block out each other for an extended amount of time and yet here he was, only ever to tell how she feels but never what she thought.
Suddenly the screen blinked and a bell chimed which drew the Interfector away from his worry and over to the screen. The Doctor had landed, so it seemed. And so far away. He could either move his TARDIS closer or just run. It suddenly occurred to him that the other Time Lord would probably see him as a stalker considering this would be the third time he's hunted him down. Shaking his head, he decided just to go out and chase him. So he programmed the tracker to his device and ran out the doors. He didn't even think to activate the chameleon circuit so there was a white cylinder resting in an alley.
The Interfector pushed himself to run as fast as he could, drawing the attention and suspicion of everyone he passed. Well, there was no time to bother with them. This was urgent. The Doctor was in danger and Sonya was at risk of completely losing herself. He founded several corners and looked at the screen on his wrist, squinting and grunting when he realized he had several blocks to go. Good thing he had two hearts. A park drew his attention and according to how things looked, it was a short cut. So he took it and had to jump over sunbathing people, duck under a frisbees toss, and weave around children as they played. How irritating. Maybe he should have just moved his TARDIS. But he was close now so there was really no point in regret.
Jumping the gate, the Interfector looked around the street before glancing at the screen. It seemed the Doctor was just up the street. So he began to run and as soon as the lanky Time Lord came into view, he shouted, "Doctor!" He had an urgent tone and hoped the man heard him.

| The Doctor continued down the street, his hands in his pockets as he strode nonchalantly past various groups of people, some that looked at him and others that never even knew he was there. Then suddenly, something excited his senses. His name. Spinning around, his eyes immediately began to dance around the stores and alley ways around him, looking tirelessly until it roared out again and a smile appeared onto his face, "Who? Me?" he asked outloud before rushing off to the sound with a slight chuckle of happiness.
Danger. Running. Excitement. Joy. Feelings that burst through The Doctor as he ran towards the voice, fueling his legs that never seemed to tire no matter what. Then. Dashing around a corner, his eyes finally met the origin of his name being called out, The Interfector. His eyebrow raised as he stopped running and began walking slowly up to the fellow Time Lord. "Interfector" He said with a nod of his head, his bottom of his trench coat following his legs slowly after him as he walked

| "Doctor." The Interfector said again when the two of them came face-to-face. His expression was serious as he stared at the other Time Lord, figuring there were no need for petty greetings. "It's Sonya. I had to get to you before she did. To make a long story short, the two of us are wedded, I dumped her here on Earth and through some messed up issues she encountered a Dalek and regenerated. She is barely even Sonya any more. The amount of bitterness and desire for vengeance keeps rolling off of her." He shook his head and pointed at the Doctor, "She is coming after you and I have no idea what her plans are but they are not good. You have to help me talk sense into her. She is just going to hurt herself as well as everyone else here. Her exact intentions... are blocked but I keep hearing something about UNIT."
He ran his fingers through his hair in distress as he glanced around the street. This was not an ideal situation but he hoped it could be resolved and perhaps everyone could redeem themselves from past and present mistakes.

| Sitting back down at her desk after handing the man his coffee, Sonya tapped something onto her computer. A unique program she had installed to track TARDISs in the area and two rather large blips were blinking on the screen only a few blocks away from where she was. She didn't even have to know who they were, it was obvious from the constant stream of emotion and thoughts coming from Interfect it was her husband and the Doctor.
Powering her computer down, she stood up and straightened her top before walking to Mr. Marril's door and knocking on it lightly. "Yes?" She heard from inside and pushed it open just enough to stick her head through. "Excuse me, Sir. But I just got a call, my mother is in the hospital and I have to leave now. I'm sorry, but I'll finish up the paper work tomorrow when I get back." She explained in a rush, carefully adding an undertone of worry to her words to carry the urgency of needing to go. Her boss blinked slightly then nodded his head quickly, waving a hand at her as he did. "Yes, yes, go. I'll see you tomorrow." He said, his eyes shifting from her face and to the computer screen once more. "Take your time coming back."
"Yes, sir. Thank you." Sonya mumbled in a seemingly distracted tone while inside she was seething. Pulling the door shut, she strode over to the elevator once more, the heels of her boots clicking on the tile floor as she stepped inside and pressed the button for the ground floor. Reaching up, she adjusted the strap of her shoulder bag and tapped one of her boots impatiently on the floor before it finally reached the lobby. Without bothering to explain anything to the girl there, she strode out of the building and in the direction of the Doctor and Interfect, going by her husband's train of thought alone to find them.
Finally, she reached the corner where they were and stood there quietly, listening to what he was saying with a frown. Talk sense into her? She was sensible, in fact, her head has never been more clear than it was at this moment. Every thought she had was perfectly aligned and not even remotely fuzzy at all. Hearing enough, she cleared her throat and stepped out from her hiding spot, her eyes trained on the back of the Doctor's head as a slow and lazy smile spread across her face. "Ah... Doctor. It's been so long."

| The Doctor listened intently to The Interfector's words and nodded once he finished, "Regeneration can be tough..especially if you are in one form for a long time" he began with a sniff, "You become so in touch with that incarnation that when you finally regenerate..its hard to let go and even more..it's harder to retain things from that incarnation". After pondering the Interfectors words for a moment, The Doctor finally assessed fully what he had said, "Sonya's always been looking for me though..i mean..well..ever sense i've known her. Stalking my incarnations throughout time. For her to walk to kill me...either i've done something i shouldn't have in another regeneration or..something terrible has gone wrong with her regeneration".
Then, just as he stopped, he heard his name being called out to him from behind. Slowly he turned, trying and finally able to push a smirk onto his face just as he turned fully to face the new and improved Sonya, "Hello Sonya".

| "Trust me, it is her regeneration." The Interfector said but froze when Sonya rounded the corner. Magnificent. He took a step forward until he was standing beside the Doctor, eyeing Sonya with caution.
How well was this going to go? He wasn't sure. Nor was he sure about what to even say. He couldn't just ask what she was planning she would probably beat around the bush. Or worse, be very honest. A person in her condition was capable of brutal things.

| Sonya's eyebrow rose up as she observed the two in front of her. "Honestly, Interfector. How could you go against your own wife? Shame on you, we're together until death do us part." She said with another slow smile, one of her fingers shaking at him as she spoke before returning her attention to the Doctor. "Besides, my love. This is between myself and an old friend. Why don't you wander off and abandon another girl on a planet, yeah?" Walking forward, she stopped in front of the Doctor and looked into his eyes, for once level with them with her new height and heels.
"Oh, Doctor, Doctor, Doctor. What shall I do? You realize you've done this to yourself. Do you know, if I hadn't spent all that time looking for you in my life, then I would have had more time to devote to getting myself back together? I would have been whole a long time ago if it weren't for you." Shaking her head in mock disappointment, she turned around and took a couple of steps away from him. "Come on then, I don't have all day. You know you want to come with because your curiosity would kill you if you didn't see what I had to show you." She added over her shoulder, then continued walking back to her TARDIS without another word.

| The Doctor did not say anything the whole time Sonya spoke, keeping in mind what Interfector had said to him just moments before. As Sonya left, The Doctor looked back to The Interfector, a plan running throughout his mind and thoughts, "She has my TARDIS..well..my previous incarnations TARDIS. I can fuse them together..or at the very least get it back to myself in the past. I just need her to be distracted for a bit. But wait until i give you the signal, i will nod when i need that distraction...first we need to get her out of the TARDIS so that i can create the bond between that one and mine. Then from there i can control it with my sonic..".
Looking back at the end of the alley, The Doctor made his way towards it, already pondering what Sonya was doing at this point, whether she was waiting for him or worse, listening in on the conversation. Unlikely, but still probable. Upon exiting the alley way, The Doctor peered over to his left, his eyes immediately meeting the sight of his predecessors TARDIS; following Sonya towards it without another word and a strict, emotionless facial expression.

| The Interfector was frowning at Sonya as she spoke. Her voice was so calm yet so threatening. Much like his second incarnation. He hoped her temper wasn't as short. A scowl was then placed on his face when she made a stab at him but still elected to remain silent. There was nothing he would say to her, not yet at least.
As Sonya walked away the Time Lord turned to the Doctor and nodded a little. He threw up mental barricades so Sonya wasn't aware of what was going on. This was going to take a lot of concentration to keep them there. "Be careful what you say to me, Doctor. She can read me like a book after all. I will be your distraction whenever you need it."
The Interfector followed, trailing behind at a slower pace as his brows knitted together. He really hoped the Doctor's plan worked. Then they could go on and... and what? It frustrated him that he felt so clueless and helpless on this whole manner. Shouldn't he be the first in line to draw up a course of action? Of course he knew how to deal with threats... but not ones based on the hearts.

| Sonya stood in the open doorway of the TARDIS, the golden light from the controls filtering around her frame as she watched the Doctor round the corner. "Come on, I may have all the time in the Universe right at my fingertips, but I honestly don't have any patience." She called before turning around and wandering back towards the controls, side-stepping one of the five columns paced around the controls, her heels clicking on the marble floor while she walked around. "Do you like the new design? I rather think it's wonderful myself, especially the red metal reflecting everything. Gives the new meaning to 'red as red reflections.' Don't you agree?" She laughed suddenly, the cold sound echoing around in the spacious control room before cutting off suddenly.
Her gold eyes glinted in the light, studying the Doctor for a moment with a small frown on her face, as if she was trying to think of something to say then shook her head sharply and went back to what she was doing. "Come on in, Doctor. I have many things to do and you are the one stalling me from doing them, yet again." She called over to him, her hands shifting some of the levers in front of her, causing the TARDIS to emit an odd assortment of sounds as she did. Looking over at the screen in front of her, she tilted her head then smiled thinly. "Oh, I have just enough energy to do it too. Wonderful."

| The Doctor circled the control console, glancing around at the new decor of the TARDIS that once belonged to his former self, the red glow of the new time rotor gave The Doctor an ominous feeling, a feeling of sickness. The connection between the machine and The Doctor dwindling in the balance. Placing his hand lightly on the side of the control console, an immediate connection echoed through them both; in The Doctor, images of Sonya flashed through his mind, what she had been doing and most of all, her regeneration. In the TARDIS, a greenish blue hue struck through the core of the, currently, red console. Leaving a solid line straight through the middle that continued to go up and touch the time rotor before The Doctor released his grip.
His eyes widened, anger growing inside of him as he peered over to Sonya, a sound stern and serious facial expression now planted onto his face, "This is still MY TARDIS! You may have been a good friend once but that won't stop me from stopping you!" he hissed, "Just let me help you. I have been through far more regeneration's then you...some i didn't enjoy..and i know how it feels. If you let me help you then all of this can be behind us". While speaking with Sonya, trying to convince her of another way, The Doctor signaled The Interfector with a flick of his index finger, hovering it slightly behind his back to conceal it from Sonya.

| Sonya's eyes flickered around the room then back to the Doctor, sudden confusion crossing her features before it vanished behind another look of intense anger. "Don't you dare try that on me, Doctor." She hissed, her eyes sparking dangerously as she advanced on him, her finger pointing directly into his face as she did. "Don't you dare make this about how I'm messed up! You did this to me, Doctor, you, Interfector and everyone else that left me or died in my arms!" She shouted, her voice echoing around the control room before she stepped back a pace, visibly struggling to keep herself calm.
Closing her eyes tightly, she sucked in a breath and let it out slowly before opening them once more to look back into the Doctor's eyes. "The TARDIS is the only thing that has been constant in my life. She is the one thing that kept me grounded when I was left behind, when I was alone and when everyone else I knew and loved died on me." She finally stated, a sudden flash of pain crossing her face then being hidden behind the mask she now wore. "I have nothing but myself and the TARDIS now, and I plan on keeping it that way. Now you, Doctor..." She spun around, walking over to the controls and flicking a switch, causing the doors to swing shut and lock. "You are always popping up in my life, you are always around when I need to do anything... And I know for a fact from watching my brother that you'll be on my tail the entire time I'm around..." She glanced over at the Doctor, her eyes glinting dangerously in the light emitting from the time rotor.
"I plan on making sure you can't get in my way, Doctor. And you can't stop me. Your little Sonic won't have any effect, your calm speeches, your righteous anger... None of it will make me stop what I'm about to do." She stated in a simple tone of voice, as if saying a fact, not a plan that will or will not happen. Her eyes shifted from his face and back to the controls next to her, a hand hovering over the button there as she debated on something. "I suppose this will hurt, I honestly can say it will actually." Her eyes moved to the floor he stood on, the square bit of metal stuck in the floor that she had spent months setting up for this exact moment. "If I were you... I'd stay out of my way, Doctor."
Pushing her finger down on the button, she activated the device under his feet the sent ten thousand volts of electricity arcing up through the floor and melting through his shoes to reach his feet and rest of him. Her gold eyes moved up to his, emotionless as the electricity roared through his body. "I never claimed to be kind, Doctor. Everyone assumed I was."

| The Interfector watched from close by. The TARDIS doors were open so it was easy enough to look within the blue box. A frown seemed to permanently remain on his face as he listened and began to worry. Something wasn't right here. Actually, it was terribly wrong. Just as the Doctor gave the Interfector the single, the TARDIS doors slammed shut.
Rassilon!" The Time Lord shouted as he ran over and pounded on the TARDIS as if that would help him. He couldn't just blow a whole into her, that would intensify any hatred Sonya and the Doctor had towards him. But he couldn't just leave. Sonya meant to kill the Doctor or the very least harm him. A thought suddenly shot through his head. The key.
Yes, Sonya had left one of the Doctor's TARDIS key in his room. She rarely needed it so had left it behind and forgot about it countless times. But he didn't forget. He could never forget the amount of times he stared at that key with mild interest and annoyance. But it appeared it would come in handy.
The Interfector returned to the alley and spoke through his communicator. "Transfer to my location." Almost immediately his TARDIS materialized in the alley. He ran into the control room, through the corridor, and pushed open the door to his room. The search was quick and the Interfector held that silver key between his fingers like it was a godsend.
A sudden feeling of fear pierced through the connection between Sonya and himself, causing his head to jerk up. What? What was that? Which one of them was afraid and why? He swallowed and dreaded what he may find in the other man's TARDIS. So he began to sprint in that direction, wondering why in the worlds his training was failing him in a time of such need.

| The Doctor's body roared with immense pain as electricity coursed through his body, "AAAaaaahhhh!!" he exclaimed, his hands curling up as they extended up to the side of him before his body fell backwards and onto the ramp floor with a thud. Breathing heavily, The Doctor gazed up at the new Sonya, grunting as he forced himself up, wobbling for a moment before gaining his balance as he looked her down. "Is that it then?" He asked her, mocking the plan she obviously had, with a sniff and a relaxed expression, "I mean really....after all these years, after all this time to plot against me. First you try to convert the TARDIS from me to you..what? You didn't think i noticed? The little catch phrases..hints spread throughout your words. Then of course you accidentally slip..let me see exactly what you are..what you've always been".
Pausing for a moment, he allowed Sonya to think before starting once more, flipping out his sonic screwdriver out and glancing at it then back over to Sonya with a sniff, "You see" he began, "When i was young...Gallifrey was filled with fear..death..turmoil, hate and greed for power. And what it needed most..was a Doctor. So i became the solution...i became the word and it's meaning. Protector. Healer. Wise man..i mean i don't like to boast..well..never mind, course i do. But i've been fighting people..monsters and intergalactic beings like you for years..the very thing hiding inside of you haunted my childhood and ran rapid during the Time War. I beat you before..no matter what form you have taken i have beaten you. And today is no different". Extending his arm down to the console, sonic screwdriver held firmly in his grip, The Doctor looked back up at Sonya, a smile appearing, "The TARDIS was attracted to me because of what i stood for, what i could and never would. We were bonded the moment i stepped inside. A bond that not even you could sever, not then and especially not now. So i wonder what would happen if..instead of me helping her. She helped me?"; The Doctor activated his sonic screwdriver, immediately he began to dematerialize, the time rotor groaning with each second he disappeared before finally he was gone from the control room.

| The Interfector reached the blue doors. His hand went up and stroked the TARDIS with an odd sense of affection. This was urgent so why was he taking his sweet time? The Doctor could be dead. Or dying. The fear was back, indescribable and confusing. Once again he couldn't explain if it was his own or Sonya's. Stop being Shakri fodder and get in there!
He shook his head roughly and inserted the key, twisting the lock open and burst through the door. The Time Lord was just in time to see the Doctor vanish from sight. What? Where did he go? The Interfector's head snapped up to Sonya and he stalked closer though remained at a safe distance. His voice was hard when he snapped in hot anger, "What have you done to him, Sonya? Snap out of this, you are not well! This is not you. Just snap out of it and tell me what you have done with the Doctor!"

| Sonya turned her burning eyes on Interfect, the only thing left in the room for her to take her anger out on. Without saying a word, she flicked the switch next to her, causing the doors to shut once more, locking out anyone that might be outside. Then walking around the console, she studied the buttons for a moment, debating on several courses of action that she could take at this moment. "I haven't done anything to him. He left me, just like everyone does." She finally said, looking up at her husband from the other side of the console, studying his stance for a moment with what looked to be confusion on her face. "Your afraid of me. Why are you so afraid. I haven't done anything to you." She murmured quietly, unsure if he even heard her or not.
Walking back around the controls, she approached him, her heels clicking on the floor as she slowly made her way over to where he stood and stopped inches away, looking up into his face. "Why do you fear? You fear what you cannot understand, Interfector. I've been inside of your head. I know your fears, and that is, what you don't know. Anything you don't understand or don't know how to react, you fear it." She said in a cold tone devoid of any emotion. Her eyes blinked slowly, as if she were processing the very information she said rather than knowing what spilled from between her lips. "You don't understand me."
Then without warning, she pushed him back against the column behind him, a hidden syringe appearing out of her pocket flashing in the light for a moment only to vanish as the needle sank into the skin of his neck and the plunger was pressed, passing the burning liquid into his blood. "Don't bother regenerating either... It will stop your hearts long before you finish letting your energy repair your body." Sonya said in a softer tone, almost caring as she slowly helped him slide to the floor. "You betrayed me, husband... I cannot allow someone to stand in my way. Your fears are what I need, and I plan on inciting plenty of fear before my reign is over." She smiled slightly, crouching down and staring into his eyes with her gold ones as they shone brilliantly. Reaching up, she placed a hand on his cheek and stroked the rough patch of hair that had grown on his jaw.
"It's the juice from the Juju berries on Tarin... Very toxic. Very potent and very quick to act... Even now as I'm talking it's making it's way through your blood, shutting your organs down one by one in rapid succession." Sonya continued, her eyes traveling down to Interfector's chest, watching as it rose and fell with each breath he took with curiosity and interest. "I've never used it before... But I've been told it works wonderful on anything, including Time Lords, especially Time Lords I should say, works through the blood faster with the twin vascular system after all..."

| The Doctor finally reappeared inside of his own TARDIS, in the position he had left Sonya in just seconds before, then braking it as he dashed around the controls, preparing her for flight. "Alright! Let's follow her, see what's she's up to...oh and..thank you..sexy" Suddenly, the TARDIS jerked forward, as if reacting to her name spoken by The Doctor. Her controls activating by themselves, all The Doctor had to do was hold on tight, gripping the sides of the console with a childish grin on his face as he peered up to the time rotor, "Woooohhhhooooo!!!!" he proclaimed as the TARDIS spiraled through the time vortex.
The image of Sonya/9's TARDIS appeared on the scanner of The Doctor's TARDIS, immediately shifting his attention to it from t he time rotor, "Keep out of range of her scans" he told his TARDIS, sounding completely mad as he spoke to his machine, "You know how you operate so you can choose the best way to go about this". The TARDIS obeyed him, flying just outside of the other TARDIS's signal reach in the time vortex; The Doctor smirked, "And now i wonder why Interfector just loves not having to pilot his TARDIS" he mumbled, "Where's the fun in that?!" he exclaimed before dashing once more around the controls, fiddling with them and aiding his TARDIS while in flight.

| The Interfector's tough demeanour slipped away as soon as Sonya called him out. It was him who was feeling fear. Him. It didn't seem right. The Academy would never have allowed this and would promptly manage to make him convert that fear into fuel to fight. Don't let the opponent get inside your head. Pity his opponent was always there. To make it all worse for him he wasn't an Academy soldier any more. He was just a man trying to help out his wife.
She read him like a book. Of course she did. She had access to everything he was just with a little poke to his head. It was an easy thing to do with the style of bond these two shared. So, so easy. And now her words were frightening him even more. So much fear from only one being. A being he should be able to trust with his life. Yet he didn't. Perhaps for good reason.
The Interfector was unaware of what Sonya had planned for him. She was feeling angry and cheated and that was always a recipe for disaster. He couldn't bring himself to say anything. His throat was dry and Rassilon knew he didn't have the right words to calm a raging storm.
And suddenly she pounced. It happened so fast not even his keen reflexes could counter it. His back was pressed against the column and a long, drawn out, groan escaped him as the needle was plunged into his skin. This was exactly the same move as he preformed on the Meta-crisis Doctor. The needle held a poison, of course, that was now coursing through his body. He use to be very fond of poisons. They were quick and easy and left the victim speechless. And oh Rassilon, was he speechless. The only thing escaping his lips were the heavy pants as he struggled to calm his burning veins and lower the beating of his hearts. The faster they beat the faster he would die. His fate was too clear, unlike his head.
The Interfector's brain was fuzzy and through his panic he tried his damnedest to regenerate. The golden glow begn, the energy twisting and flickering around his body. The attempt at regenerating, as Sonya had warned him, was futile. He only felt worse and no better. Was this it then? Sonya was laying him on the ground, her words barely registering in his slowing mind. It wasn't fair. Hardly fair at all. The gold sizzled out and faded like a wisp in the wind. There was nothing left to do now but wait.
He was suppose to die in a glorious manner. And his own wife had cheated him out of that dream. In that moment, in that exact moment the Interfector could see how much he failed in his life. He failed at saving the Time Lords, failed Rassilon, failed the Academy and himself, failed Sonya in more ways than one and failed his TARDIS. What would become of his precious type 70? Hell, add the Doctor to that list of failures and you got it all.
His muscles twitched weakly as he lost control. His breathing was shallow now, everything shutting off and closing down. Where was his glory? His victory? The Time Lord couldn't even save the one he loved. Damn life! Cursed hell he lived. Just when he was beginning to truly live for himself it was just going to end with a single poke to the neck? He didn't even get the honour of being part of the fight to bring his wife back to clarity. Back to herself. To the compassionate, caring Time Lady he knew she was.
But even as he laid there, even as he laid by the feet of the one who killed him, he figured he could redeem himself in some way. Sonya always had been unimpressed with his lack of affection. Sure he felt it but he never revealed it to her, not really. And as a last form of apology and love, he pushed all he ever felt for her through their bond. At least if she regretted this, if she ever did, she would know he didn't hate her.
The Interfector started to wheeze, his body shutting down until nothing worked. He remained conscious for long, drawn out moments that had brought the most prominent milestones to flash through his mind. So much he had done and yet so little. There was much more he could have been. But alas this was what it came down to. And with a final roll of his eyes, he was no more. The exact moment was noted by Sonya, surly, for the connection went completely blank. What was once there was ripped away cleanly to leave a void, nothing, empty, abyss. She was completely alone in her own head. But it was what she wanted, wasn't it?

| Sonya blinked down at the man laying at her feet, a small spark of confusion as the usual link that hummed with vague thoughts and feelings suddenly snapped. Leaving her alone in her head for the first time in months, mentally she reached out, searching for the link only to find dead space. She was alone, utterly alone for the first time in years, no Doctor nearby to feel the faint buzz of his chaotic mind, no one around for her to feel. Even the TARDIS seemed to close itself off from her.
Crouching back down, she hesitantly touched his face, marveling at the coolness there when it had been so warm only moments ago. As she stared at his relaxed expression, she tried to dredge up some form of pity for killing him. After all, she did love him at one point didn't she? But nothing showed, only a blank emptiness floating around in her, as if a great hole had opened up in her mind, swallowing everything in sight. With a low sigh of frustration with how she was acting, she stood back up and walked over to the controls, piloting the TARDIS to an empty, barren planet. If she would be alone, then so would his body for the rest of time. He would lay here on this frozen planet, no one to visit his grave and nothing to mark where he lay. A forgotten someone floating around in space, just like she was now.
Looking back over at his body, she again tried to feel, something. Anything towards this man that was her husband, anything. Anger, resentment, love, sadness, regret. But nothing came, nothing rose in her mind as she looked at his body. Her emotions seemingly swallowed up by this hole in her head, this great, hungry hole that fed on everything she felt, leaving her an empty shell of what she once was. Walking over, she picked up his body and walked towards the TARDIS doors, feeling a small twitch of her lips as they creaked open slowly to allow her outside. Stopping several feet from the ship, she set his body on the ground a little rougher than she should have, staring blankly down at him as his head made an odd popping noise from hitting a rock. What did he care? He was dead.
She walked back into the TARDIS and pulled a shovel from under the console, giving it a quick pat before returning outside and beginning to dig a shallow grave for the man she once new. Several minutes later, the dumped the last bit of loose soil from the small trench she had built and jumped out. Three feet was enough, she wasn't going to waste time here on this Rassilon-deserted planet digging a six foot grave when the soil under where she was turned out to be solid rock. Tossing the shovel to the side, she kicked his body into the hole and pushed the dirt back on top of him with her hands, too bothered to pick the shovel back up and do it properly.
Stopping after she was done, she cast a quick look around the planet then walked back to the TARDIS. Not bothering to say a single word over his grave, nothing to say really. She had no words, she had no emotion. Nothing in her head but to find the Doctor and to make him pay for the things she knew he had done. Vanishing back into the TARDIS, she fiddled with the controls and dematerialized from the rocky surface of the grave site planet. A lonely wind blew over it's surface, rustling the newly dug earth over the body that lay, forgotten and alone, the planet as empty as the woman that had left him there,

| With a echoing thud, the TARDIS landed on the grave sight planet, The Doctor quick to rush out of the double blue wooden doors, only for his eyes to meet a newly dug grave. There was a sorrowful emptiness that overcame The Doctor as he approached the grave, kneeling down beside it, a connection that was once prominent and reminiscent of his people became ever more faint until finally, it disappeared into the past. Not even the connection with Sonya, as a Time Lady was present. No..she's something new now, something not even worthy of the false name of Sonya she was given all those years ago on Gallifrey. For the first time sense before the discovery of Sonya, The Doctor felt the loneliness he had felt for hundreds of years after the Time War. The last...the last true Time Lord..not any of the make shift ones created by flesh or a metacrisis, he was now the true last Time Lord.
Placing his hand over the dirt, that which covered the mangled form of Interfector, The Doctor's facial expression went coldly blank, "I'm sorry" he mumbled, "I'm so sorry......i watched my people burn within the walls of the time lock i created...their lives fleeting before my eyes. I thought..i thought i was the last...suppose i am now. Thought it would be best you know...get to do what i want when i want with nobody to tell me otherwise...but it hurts..it hurts thinking you're the only one. Even the best soldiers..the nightmarish demons..even me..feel that loneliness, that fear of what's next, what might come, what might not come.". Glancing down at the grave, The Doctor forced a sorrowful smile before looking away, "You're not alone Interfect...you were never alone. I don't know how she killed you but..she will be stopped. I promise you that. I will stop her..whatever it takes. Just..just do one thing for me...say hello to her for me..you'll know who she is when you see her..she's been waiting for me for a while..".
Pulling himself together, The Doctor lowered his head as he rose up from his kneeling position, turning his attention and body back to his TARDIS. "It's still my TARDIS.." He mumbled to himself, flipping out his sonic screwdriver then pointing it upwards and activating it, "She will listen to me before she ever listens and obey's you".

| Sonya sat in the jumper seat, staring blankly at the console in front of her as it flew through the vortex. Something, she had something to do, what was it? What did she need? Frowning, she glanced down at her dirty hands, studying her fingernails that now had the rust-red dust under them. "Ah, shower." She finally said, the frown disappearing as she got to her feet and wandered out of the control room, heading back to where she slept before, the room she stayed away from since regenerating.
Pushing it open, she was assaulted by memories of the past with the Doctor. The TARDIS was the same with each of his forms, it carried the imprint of memories past and ones to be made in the future. Casting a glance around the room, she snorted and headed for the bathroom door only to be flung back against the wall as the direction of flight changed suddenly. Pulling her, something was pulling her back to that damnable planet!
Stumbling to her feet, she darted down the hallway, rage flowing through her once more, fuling her, giving her the sudden burst of energy she needed to flip the lever upwards and land the TARDIS in a different spot than before. She was NOT loosing the TARDIS to a meddling Time Lord! This ship was all she had left to her and she was never loosing her. Looking up at the Time Rotor, Sonya reached up and patted it gently, watching as a couple ribbions of energy flowed from her hand and curled around it. "Easy, girl. I'm not mad at you." She murmured, feeling another odd sense of emptiness as she spoke. No connection, everything was... Gone, like the emotions. Nothing left but herself and her thoughts now.
Turning to face the doors, Sonya straightened her back and stalked towards them, stepping out on the opposite side of the grave and folding her arms over her chest as she stared at the Doctor standing across from her. "You called?"
