| Warning: This is the only time you'll ever see a poem by me on here. Soooo yea.
Eyes like Ice, Words like fire, Roll the dice, Balance on the wire.
Waves on the sand, washing away memories past, I'll take your hand, If you promise me this will last.
Watching the passing of time, With eyes so ageless, You ache to climb, But your life is aimless.
Stuck in the middle, Unable to move, Your life a riddle, Nothing left to prove.
Pain in your heart, When left behind, The tears fall with a start, Fear and loneliness combined.
Aching with need, Wanting to be wanted, No one pays heed, To eyes of the haunted.
You force a smile, You force a laugh, You've walked the mile, Only to still fall in half.
Clutching to your past, Racing for tomorrow, Nothing good will last, Leaving behind sorrow.
Words without meaning, Anguish so pure, Emotions so demeaning, Hesitation so unsure.
Fall into a sea, Of questioning voices, You only have to be, Sure of your choices.
Give in, Give out, Accept the sin, Have no doubt.
You saw my eyes, You've read my mind, I heard your cries, I've been left behind.
Now your gone, Running off again, I feel drawn, Left with your pain.
