The Confessions of the Christmas Love

24th December 2013. Christmas Eve. 7:45 am.

It was that time of year again, Christmas Day was tomorrow and Shauna was sorting out the Christmas decorations around the TARDIS. She hadn't celebrated Christmas in over 3,000 years and she knew she had to make up that time somehow. I wonder if The Doctor likes my decorating? She asked herself with a soft smile. Ah, The Doctor... she seemed to always think about him... and she had no idea why. Then it hit her, d-did she really like him? Did she really like, like him? Did she want him to love her like she loved him?

Shauna finished the decorating and she wandered towards the console room of the TARDIS, where she spotted The Doctor examining the screen and pressing random buttons. Shauna grinned a little to herself and she slowly entered the room and smiled at The Doctor, "Hey, Doctor." She said with a toothy grin, her fangs visible. The Doctor looked to her and he smiled happily at his companion, "Ah, Shauna. Good morning, how is the decorating going?" He asked her curiously and Shauna blushed a little, taking a while to respond.

"Erm, I was wondering if you could look at my decorating so you could say whether it was good or not..." She said as she rubbed the back of her head a little - with a nervous and shy expression on her face. The Doctor nodded and smiled at her softly, noticing the nervous feeling coming off of her. They both walked towards the decorated room and The Doctor grinned, "It looks fantastic!" He said with a toothy grin. Shauna smiled happily and blushed a little, "T-t-thanks, Doctor!" She said happily, she was so glad her decorating was a success. B-but... is my confession going to be a success too? She asked herself with a small sigh escaping her lips.

The Doctor turned to Shauna, "You seem troubled. Are you ok, Shauna?" He asked her with some concern but he smiled nonetheless. Shauna snapped out of her thought and without thinking she blurted out: "I really like, like you!" She then blushed bright red and looked straight down. The Doctor blinked before chuckling a little and patting her head, "I like you too, Shauna." He said with a big smile. Shauna looked up, her cheeks still red in embarrassment and she was really shy now. "Y-you do?" She tilted her head in curiosity and confusion. The Doctor nodded, "Yeah, I really like, like you too." He said with a gentle smile.

Shauna's heart skipped a beat in surprise. T-the Doctor likes me?! O-oh... wow. I didn't think he would like someone as strange as me...! She smiled happily and then something above her caught her eye and apparently it caught The Doctor's too as he looked up as well. It was mistletoe; the mistletoe was hanging above their heads and Shauna blushed a bit and The Doctor had a light blush. Shauna looked into his eyes as he gazed into her's. Shauna felt her heart race as her eyes slowly closed as she began to lean up to The Doctor; they both slowly leaned in to share a passionate kiss...
