[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Jack HarknessSpecies: Human
Age:Questionable. Looks to be in his late thirties but has lived through a few centuries.
Gender: Male
Occupation: Torchwood Agent
Status: Rich in charm
::Appearance::Hair: Brown and well styled
Eyes: Blue
Height: 6'0
Figure: Well built
Other: None
Clothing: His choice of wear is the blue uniform and overcoat he's so often found in. However, he has been caught wearing casual jeans and a plain t-shirt... well, and far less than that but we won't go there
::Info::Family: All deceased
Personality: Jack is as enigmatic as he was before he became as close to immortal as a human could get. He flirts with anyone and everyone, using his friendly demeanour and seductive attitude in hopes of getting them in bed. Was it ever mentioned he has a fantastic sense of humour?
However, beneath all his up-beat liveliness, he can be bitter and ruthless. Living long has put a bad taste in his mouth, not to mention a kink in his compassion. If anyone is perceived as a threat, he won't hesitate to kill them.
Strengths: His practical immortality, charm and powers of seduction, a gun, his allies
Weakness: His practical immortality, anyone willing to have sex with him, close friends considering they outlive him, cowardice (rare but still there)
Likes: Flirting, food, flirting, anything that can move, flirting, missions that go right
Dislikes: being tortured, having his friends used against him, rejection, his immortality
Dream: To bed every speci- To find the Doctor (everyone needs a close-to-immortal partner, right?), and to keep the Earth safe from threatening beings and situations
History: Jack was born in the Boeshane Peninsula in the 51st century under a different name that no one knows. There, he lived with his family until the place was invaded by an unknown enemy. The encounter caused him to become separated from his brother and to find both his parents dead.
Jack became the first person from the Boeshane Peninsula to join the Time Agency, becoming somewhat of an idol for the people back home. He worked hard but soon discovered that the organization had taken two years worth of memory from him, causing Jack to leave the Time Agency and become a con artist.
This is how he met Rose and the Doctor. He changed to be a better man after the whole nanogene zombie situation. This was not the only time he met up with the Doctor and the Time Lord's crazy life.
Jack was present during the dalek invasion on satellite five. Well, they were going for Earth but one step at a time, right? He died fighting off the daleks while the Doctor worked to create a weapon that would destroy the threat. However, this was when the Bad Wolf showed up in the form of Rose Tyler, accidentally reviving Jack eternally. Because of this, the Doctor left Jack on the satellite due to his unnatural state.
Jack spent a long time searching for the Doctor. Even when his vortex manipulator broke, he waited out the history of Earth in order to catch up with the Time Lord. Lots of good things and bad things happened during this time, a lot of it he chooses to keep to himself. Needless to say, he rejoined Torchwood at this time.
When the Master took over Earth, Jack was there. Well, he was enslaved for awhile but he was still around. Even when the daleks came back to, as Davros told, destroy the universe, Jack was around to try and stop it. Of course, his course of action wasn't a success since he ended up dying once and captive the next. But, things turned out in a way only the Doctor could make it turn out (in a good way), and Jack turned down travelling in the TARDIS since he didn't want to abandon Torchwood and all it had to offer.
Nowadays, Jack still works with Torchwood even though he spends a lot of time away from the place. Well, could you blame him for the sorts of things an old friend had asked of him? Jack is, or rather was, too busy with this task to work with Torchwood fulltime.
