| Emma spun toward the door when she heard it opened, and was glad to see the Doctor although she noticed he was quite upset to see that Ryarya was gone.
"I told her not to go, but she put her cloak thing on so she went invisible and I didn't really know how to stop her.." She said apologetically, feeling that she should have done more to stop Rya. Maybe it was partly Emma's fault that she had wandered off, and she felt bad that she hadn't done more. "I'm sorry.." She said quietly as the Doctor complained about having to find Ryarya now.
She caught the clothes that he had tossed at her, and looked at them. She felt disappointed to see that it was the same clothes as the prisoners were wearing, and not guard's clothes. She had to dress up like one of the prisoners?
She wanted to protest and insist on having one of the guard's uniforms, but she glanced briefly up at the Doctor and could tell he was already pretty angry about Rya taking off. She didn't want him to be angry with her, and so she quietly put the clothes on over her other clothes, because she wasn't about to change in front of the Doctor and he seemed in a hurry. She tried not to think about it too much, but couldn't help feeling a little bit crestfallen about the disguise that had been provided.
After donning the prisoner's garb over her own clothes, Emma pulled her hair out of a ponytail so that it was loose down her back. "Ready." She said quietly, sounding just a tiny bit dispirited. She noticed this, and forced a smile as she moved to join the Doctor at the door of the Tardis. "Anything I need to know before we go out?" She added, her tone now neutral as well as her face.

| The Doctor arched his eyebrow, reaching into one of the pockets attached to his belt and flipped out a pair of cuffs he noticed all of the prisoners had. Turning to Emma, The Doctor gestured for her to place her wrists together, "These cuffs are linked to the digital system of the prison...linking the prisoners to a list...not sure how yet but i noticed the scanners on top of the ceiling in the lobby. More than likely they were keeping track of the cuff signals" he told her as he placed the cuffs on her. Immediately he noticed the small vile like glass space in the center of the cuffs fill up with Emma's blood, sparking a realization in The Doctors mind, "Blood...they control the prisoners by blood...well..that certainly clears things up doesn't it".
A sudden escalation of noise from the lobby grabbed The Doctor's attention, shifting it to the doors of the bathroom then back over to Emma, "Ready?" he asked her, "They're lining up the prisoners to get them into the prison. Which means we might get separated...if we do, you'l need this" he told her. Reaching into his pocket, The Doctor located his sonic screwdriver and held it out to Emma, "It can get you past locks on the prison and release the cuffs when it's time. Don't lose it. They will more than likely pat you down as your exiting the ship so in that case we'l need to conceal it...". Looking at Emma's thick wavy hair, The Doctor cocked his head to the side, "Well...could be a worse place" he mumbled before walking behind Emma.
Taking the screwdriver, The Doctor tied a lock of Emma's hair around the screwdriver. Once making sure it wouldn't fall, he tucked it behind the rest of her hair, "There we go..should be fine..just..just don't jump around or make any quick movements" he concluded. Grabbing her by the neck with one hand, The Doctor escorted Emma out of the bathroom and into the hall where he immediately met a guard, "What's she doing in there?" he hissed, "Kept trying to make up excuses to not get out of the stall. Had to go in there myself." The Doctor replied, "I'll take her to the line up". The guard shook his head, "I'll take care of her. You're on a maintenance check. Make sure everything is good before coming out, we don't want another prisoner hijack incident".
The Doctor nodded his head and handed Emma over to the guard, winking at her before turning to walk the other way down the hall. Inside he hoped Emma could cope without him, that the screwdriver stayed in place and most importantly, Ryraya found a way to blend in.

| Staying hidden behind the guard blocking her path wasn't easy, and Ryarya was beginning to stiffen from standing too long in the same position within the tiny opening she had found. She could hear the scuffling and clinking of the prisoners and slaves as they were lined up for departure into the prison. Slowly lowering herself to an opening between the guard and the wall, she scanned as much of her surroundings as she could. There wasn't much of a chance of her getting into the prison with this guard standing in her way. Luckily, no one could see her, but she was still at risk. Over the years, she had learned that invisibility didn't always help. She would have to tread carefully here.
A familiar voice reached her ears and she swiftly switched her attention to the hallway on the guard's other side. Although in disguise as a guard, Ryarya immediately recognized the Doctor. He was escorting Emma down the hallway when a guard blocked his path. She couldn't hear the details of the conversation, but she saw the guard take charge of Emma, leading her closer to where Ryarya resided. She had to get a message to both of a them. After pondering the situation for a moment, she figured out a plan. Closing her eyes, she stretched out her mind to reach the Doctor first. Telepathic messaging wasn't easy for her, so she quickly began to talk before her mind reached its limit and snapped back to her like a rubber band. "Doctor," she said hurriedly, "I don't have much time, but keep a close watch on the guards. There are traps and security measures everywhere. Pay attention to how they walk. There's also a small white box being delivered to my mother. One guard is to take it directly to her, but the order was generic. Keep a steady eye." Her connection was lost just barely after she finished her last sentence and she slowly exhaled a breath. Her body shook slightly from the amount of energy it required though she knew she wasn't done yet.
Finding Emma in the line up of slaves, she reached out to her as well. "I have you in my line of sight, Emma. I'll stay as close to you as I can. There's traps everywhere and security it tight. I think they've had an incident before. I've heard a couple guards mention it, but I'll do what I can to help you." She lost her focus when the guard blocking her path suddenly stepped away and moved down the line. No one seemed to notice she was there, so she quietly slipped out of her hiding place and made her way along the wall until she stood near where a few guards were discussing the unloading procedure. She was close enough to hear but far enough away to keep out of sight. She could only hope her luck held when the doors opened.

| Emma bit her lip and kept quiet as the Doctor put the cuffs on her wrists. She winced slightly when it felt like it pricked her, and then frowned as she watched her blood fill the little vial. She didn't like this at all. She started to mention that this was the second time today she'd been 'arrested', but she kept quiet. Â She reminded herself that it was partly her idea to do this rescue.
When the Doctor asked if she was ready, she was thinking no, but she gave a tiny nod anyway. Then he mentioned possibly getting separated, and she bit her lip as she felt a little nervous about that idea. She took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself, and reminded herself that she was capable of taking care of herself. She kept still while the Doctor was tying his sonic screwdriver into her hair. "You'd better not be tying knots in my hair." She said quietly, as a sort of weak joke.
As they left the Tardis, Emma looked down and tried to act like a prisoner. Or rather, she was trying to keep from protesting this disguise and refusing to be a prisoner. She was disappointed when the Doctor had to turn her over to another guard. She bit her lip and kept her head down, hoping that this guard wouldn't discover the sonic screwdriver hidden in her hair. What if the Doctor hadn't hidden it well enough? And how was she going to get to it with her hands in these cuffs? She frowned as she wondered about this.
As she walked, she tried to think about other things. Like, what was to happen to all of these other prisoners? And if she was put in with them, what was going to happen to her? She tried to reassure herself that the Doctor would rescue her, and probably everyone, but it was still a little troubling to wonder, what if something happened and he couldn't? Or, what if he couldn't find her? She took a few deep breaths and remembered that she wasn't without any help; she had the sonic screwdriver, so as long as she could get it out of her hair and unlock the cuffs, she should be fine.
Still, she couldn't help feeling a little uneasy, but she reminded herself why they were doing this; to rescue Ryarya's mom. She knew she would do anything to rescue one of her own family members from anything, and so she understood how Rya felt. Emma would do whatever she could to help Rya get her mother back. She just hoped that, unlike Emma's mother, Rya's mom would appreciate this.

| The Doctor listened closely to Ryarya's telepathically given heed before walking off in the opposite direction, turning the corner and turning his attention to the hall in front of him. If there were security measures in the hallways, The Doctor had no idea where they were or what they were. Eternal technology has always been a blur for The Doctor, and the Time Lords in general; their very existence was just recently discovered in the past couple hundred years to the Time Lords. First Eternals. Now their infamous prison and top of the line technology...brilliant
Suddenly a pair of voices echoed throughout the hall, catching The Doctor's attention just in time for him to shift behind the corner as two guards passed by. "Why do i have to give this stupid thing to that prisoner?" One guard groaned, "The boss gave it to you..you gotta do it. Unless you find some poor sap who would trade places with you" the other replied with a chuckle. Jumping out from his cover, The Doctor called out, "Did someone say trade places?" he asked.
The guards turned around, the one holding the fabled white box arched his eyebrow curiously, smirking with sudden delight at The Doctor's words. "You mean you'd take this thing to the prisoner?" He asked happily, "They say she burns your soul with her very eyes...your mind melts....we...we have to give her gifts to keep her at bay for the boss. Nobody who has ever gone in there has came out alive". The Doctor nodded his head with a sniff, "Alright then. Easy enough" he replied, "Give it here. I'll take care of it. You cover my shift, i'll cover yours". The guard nodded in agreement, handing The Doctor the box and laughing as he strode down the hall with his fellow guard, "Good luck..and thanks!". Turning away from them, The Doctor closed his eyes and focused on the psychic link he once shared with Ryarya, I have the box....i'm on my way to your mother. Keep your eyes on Emma

| While Ryarya waited patiently for a reply from either the Doctor or Emma, she casually made her forward through the ranks of the prisoners, making sure not to stray to far from Emma. She noticed how perpetually ill-tempered the guards were with the prisoners. One of them was even delivering a lash or two to prisoners that were disembarking too slowly. By the looks of it, the whip was electrically charged. A blow from that would do more than just leave a gash on the skin. She turned and headed back to Emma, quickly swiping a small set of leather gloves from the back pocket of one of the guards as she tucked her hands into the sleeves of her coat to keep them invisible. "Emma," she whispered so low that only Emma could hear her. She kept enough distance between them to not draw attention, but placed a hidden gloved hand on her shoulder. "Keep your ground and try to stay calm. These guards are severely ill-tempered. They're disembarking now, but make sure you move quick or they'll whip you. I'll be with you the whole time. Just keep steady."
She turned slightly to see if she could still see the Doctor. He seemed to be out of her immediate line of sight, but she knew he was there somewhere. His voice suddenly rang through her mind as he told her that he had the box and was going to her mother. She nodded even though he couldn't see her. Without replying, she turned her attention back to Emma. The line was very slowly beginning to move forward as each of the prisoners disembarked inside the prison itself. It was showtime.

| Emma was well aware of the guard's treatment of the prisoners, having observed plenty already. She was being very careful not to move too slow or anything, because she really, really did not want to experience that whip. Her heart beat fast and she was keeping very alert to everything around her, though her face remained blank and emotionless. To say she wasn't enjoying this disguise was a major understatement.
She was just wondering where Ryarya had gotten to, when she felt a touch on her shoulder and Rya whispered to her. Emma was a bit surprised but didn't show it. She dipped her head faintly as a nod to let Rya know that she had heard her. She hoped this plan of the Doctor's was going to work, and she wondered just how much of the plan he had worked out so far.
She was feeling nervous about this whole operation. What if they all got caught and captured? What if the Doctor was caught, and Emma made a prisoner here? She thought of many possible negative outcomes of this rescue mission, should something go wrong, and she hoped that none of them would happen. She really hoped that they would be able to get Rya's mom out, rescue the other people if possible, and get out of there fast. She also hoped that Rya's mother would be more appreciative about being rescued than Emma's mother had been, from a similar sort of situation.
Emma did her best to keep up the pace that the guard wanted from her, and really wished she could get those cuffs off of her wrists. She was shoved a few times, and nearly fell to her knees with one shove from the guard, who yelled at her to keep moving. Although she was very scared, she kept a stony, blank look on her face the whole time, taking as deep breaths that she could manage, in an attempt to remain calm, though it was a bit difficult.
She constantly worried if they might find the sonic screwdriver that the Doctor had hidden in her hair, and wondered what would happen if they found it. She also worried that the Doctor might get discovered and captured, or Rya might be caught. She hoped that this rescue mission would go smoothly, but she had a feeling she would be disappointed on that hope. She also wasn't really sure what purpose she was serving by even being part of it. She was stuck posing as a prisoner, what was she supposed to do? What could she do? She kept thinking about these things as she walked, and trying to form a mini-plan of her own.

| The Doctor kept to himself as he strode down the ramp, box in hand and eyes wondering across the prisoners as they were slowly escorted off of the ship. Guards glared as he poked and prodded the prisoners into formation and through the force field scanner at the gate of the prison. An old man stood to the left of The Doctor, waiting his turn for the scanner, the green light indicating allowed passage for the woman in front of him. However, when the old man passed through, there was a much different outcome.
The light sparked a bright red and an alarm sounded out loud, echoing throughout the prison and back into the open ramp of the ship. The old man panicked, looking back over his shoulder just in time to catch sight of two guards rushing over to him, "Please! No! I did nothing!" he pleaded. Unfortunately for the old man, his words were too little, too late as the guards dragged him away to a nearby building to the right of the gate. The man's cries echoed for several minutes after being dragged out of sight and through an automated metal door. Then there was silence. Silence that emitted a horrible end for the old man and yet another cloak of sorrow over the remaining prisoners as they continued to trudge through the gate single file.
Using the distraction set by the old man, The Doctor slipped through the scanner, the red light and alarm still going off from the old man passing through. The guards and prisoners still distracted by the old man to care about the alarms still ringing. Only when his cries ended, did the line continue and the lights finally go off, but not by the design that the system intended. The Doctor quickly stood up, turning with the box to continue his way to the tower and to Ryarya's mother. A small output box on the side of the gate sparking and now permanently fixed on green thanks to The Doctors temperament. Get Emma and Ryarya through the security gate..check...now the mother.

| Ryarya eyed the bay warily as she stood close by Emma, waiting for their turn to step through the scanner up ahead and head down the ramp into the prison. The Doctor had the box that was meant for her mother, and while she had a hard time resisting the urge to follow him all the way there, she had already risked her safety too much by leaving the TARDIS and venturing off on her own. It was best not to repeat that again considering that she had no prior knowledge of the facility. Her heists were simple to follow up on because she spent so much time casing the place before she made an official move. This was different. She had no idea what could be lying in wait beyond this ship's interior and a simple scout ahead might risk exposing everyone. It seemed as though the Doctor already had a plan in motion, so she hoped that he knew what he was doing. Her focus snapped back to the present as she watched the guards drag away an older man who hadn't managed to pass safely under the scanner. His screams were like flashbacks to her for reasons she couldn't quite explain. Her head began to throb and her eyes became clouded as she swayed a little beside Emma, letting out a quiet, "Oh." Something played in her mental image when she closed her eyes, but it came in pieces to the point where she wasn't sure if she'd even call it a vision. She didn't know what it was. A moment later, her body returned to its normal state and she shook her head to clear it. They were getting closer to the scanner. She needed to stay alert. Something caught her eye. The outbox on the scanner was sparking like crazy though it wasn't quite enough to attract attention. There were several pieces of technology in this ship that were sparking. She smiled appreciatively. The Doctor must have meddled with it while the guards were distracted by the old man. Clever. She waited until Emma had stepped through the scanner before slipping through in the space provided between her and the prisoner behind her. It appeared that the prisoners were being sorted into groups by the cell blocks they were assigned to once they disembarked from the ship. "I wonder...," she whispered aloud, thinking of something. "Any preference on accommodations, Emma? It looks like their sorting prisoners down there. I might be able to tamper with their system for a minute, just to put you in the system until they sort you...that is, unless the Doctor already has a plan for that." (OOC: Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for not really being on to RP recently, guys! There's been a lot going on at home. Sorry! ^^ | |

| Emma glanced around slightly as she walked, trying to keep alert to what was going on, but trying also not to let it be obvious she was looking around. She took slow, deep breaths as she moved, trying to keep calm and not feel so afraid. They would be ok, she kept telling herself. They would all get out of here and be perfectly fine. She tried to convince herself of this.
Hearing someone screaming, however, didn't help her feel as convinced. She bit her lip lightly, watching the scene unfold, and hoped that she wasn't about to follow that poor old guy. She kept telling herself to stay calm and keep moving steadily. Before long they had reached the scanner thing, and although she was very nervous inside, Emma walked through with outward confidence. Only after she was through did she notice that it had apparently been tampered with and realized it probably wouldn't work. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
Hearing Rya's question about if she had any preferene on her cell, Emma hesitated slightly. She didn't plan on staying very long at all, so why would she care? But then she thought more on it, and wondered if she might be able to get put near wherever Rya's mom was. She took a moment before replying, to think through it more fully first. "Near as I can get to your mom." She whispered under her breath, hoping Rya would hear her.
This way, she thought that even if something caused the Doctor to not be able to get her out, Emma might have some chance of helping her. Also, if all went according to plan and the Doctor did get Rya's mom out, then if Emma was located nearby, he wouldn't have as far to go to find Emma as well. She hoped this would make everything easier. She took a deep breath and waited to be sorted and assigned to a cell, and hoped that nothing would go wrong and her get stuck there or something.

| A guard slowly sorted through the line up of prisoners, scanning a two or three digit number on the prisoners ragged clothes, indicating where each one went. One by one they went sent off to the left or right, sometimes even straight forward towards the center of the prison. When Emma's turn came up, the guard looked up at her then released a sigh, holding up his scanner and just seconds away from flopping her into a random cell before a hand was suddenly placed on his shoulder.
"This one is of high importance..she is to be placed inside of the tower" The newcomer informed the guard who aggravatingly rolled his eyes, "I have been given no such orders" he retorted. Quickly, a pamphlet was flashed in the guards face from the guard behind him in the same swift motion of jumping out in front of Emma. "Good enough?" The new guard asked rhetorically, tucking the pamphlet away and turning to the prisoner as the scanning guard sighed once more and scanned Emma, "Very well. To the tower with this one" he submitted. Taking Emma by the arm, the new guard urged her to the right and kept her close as he leaned over once out of sight from the other guards, "Sorry for the harshness, needed to get you out of there quick..plus the faster we do this the better. They won't be numb to what's going on for much longer".
Moments Earlier....
The Doctor looked around him as he strode into the elevation pod, box in hand and mind swirling in thoughts and ideas on how this meeting would go. Just as his mind began to fall back into complete thought, the doors hissed open and a guards voice came to his attention. "Door at the end" The guard instructed The Doctor, gesturing him towards the door at the very end of the hallway. Lining the walls to his left and right stood glass like doors, each housing one person inside of them in a completely white room, much like the color of the hallway itself. Pure white with no color on any single part of any room or clothes that the prisoners wore.
Approaching the room holding Ryarya's mother, The Doctor took mental note of the security beams and cameras throughout the cells and hallways. If a break out was going to occur, it wasn't going to be easy. Ryarya's mother turned to The Doctor, walking over to the wall to greet him, "You are being watched all over. There is no possible means of escape...unless you have something that is impossible that you could use. Funny thought that is" The Doctor said to the mother, extending the box out, the wall wavered open just enough for the box to be put through. The woman was confused at first but chose to nod and appear sad as she glanced over to the cameras watching her then back down to her cell.
Receiving a grunt from the guard at the other end of the hallway marked The Doctor's time with the mother had come to a sudden end. Although not much had been accomplished from this meeting, The Doctor did discover the security protecting Ryarya's mother and exactly how much he had to defeat to get her out. Turning and walking back to the elevation pod, The Doctor shuffled through his plans, his mind lost in thought while his body made its way back to the prisoner line up, where he hoped to find Emma just in time to get here where he needed her to be for the eventual escape.

| Lyriasharyn was gazing silently through the wide window at the far end of her cell, sadly doing the only thing she had been doing since she'd been imprisoned, reflecting on her life. She blinked back a few tears and was suddenly alerted by the sound of someone entering the Tower. There were hardly any prisoners up here. Most were accomplices that she had managed to persuade to join her side all those years ago. Why would someone come this far into the prison? Moving swiftly over to the cell entrance, she caught sight of a rather unusual looking guard moving in her direction carrying a simple white box.
She was about to say something in greeting to the guard, whom she assumed was the Doctor when he mentioned the tight security that was keeping her imprisoned. She simple accepted the box with a small nod and the same expression of despair she had worn from the start. Turning away from the cell entrance, she opened the white box.
___ Ryarya took a cautionary glance around to make sure that no one had caught on to her presence as she continued to stay by Emma's side through the sorting of the prisoners. She only strayed when they got close enough to the guard that was keeping track of which prisoners went where. Taking care that her footsteps were silent, she slowly slipped beside him to peer at the list he was looking at. Emma had said to get her as close to her mother as possible. By the looks of the list, the only way to do that was to get her into a separate containment unit called the Tower. That must be where they kept the inmates requiring maximum security.
She was about to start working on moving Emma into the Tower when a hand was placed on the shoulder of the guard she was standing beside, causing her to instinctively lean back out of reach. She almost released a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. The hand and arm were centimeters from touching her, and since she didn't dare turn to see who the hand was attached to, she remained still despite the uncomfortable position she was now in. She closed her eyes, and hearing a voice that she thought belonged to the Doctor, slowly moved out of reach and back to Emma's side where she quietly let out the breath she'd been holding. When Emma was ushered to the right, Ryarya followed at a close distance behind the two.

| Emma became increasingly more nervous inside as she neared the guard who would sort her into a cell. What if something went wrong with the scanning thing? They might not have her on some list of prisoners, and that might raise questions about where she came from. Her cover might be blown, and the whole operation might be messed up, and it would all be her fault. She practically held her breath as she waited for the result, and then someone intervened. She turned her gaze to the new guard, and felt a thrill of relief as she realized it was the Doctor. She couldn't see his face, but she knew it was him.
She listened with an impassive face to the conversation, and allowed herself to be led away by the Doctor. She breathed easier now, knowing he was with her. Rya was still nearby too, as far as she could tell. She was glad they weren't separated anymore. "What's the plan?" she whispered, once they were out of sight of the other guards. She wanted to know if there was anything she could do to help besides walking along with her hands cuffed and pretending to be a prisoner. She also didn't like having the cuffs on at all, and she kept worrying something might go wrong and she might get trapped here as a prisoner. What if this rescue mission ended up the same as the one she did for her mom? She tried not to think about it, but regardless, the thought continued to bother her.

| The Doctor kept close to Emma as they approached the elevation pod, the one place in the prison he knew was not under security thanks to his previous trip. Once the two stepped in, The Doctor placed his foot in front of the door to keep it open two seconds longer before moving it away and letting the doors shut. "Sorry but Ryarya you really need to change your perfume. Can't believe none of the guards have noticed it" The Doctor commented, glancing at the space in front of him and Emma, " But i'm glad they haven't because we'l need you to make this work. Alright so here's the plan".
Pausing for a moment, The Doctor pressed the emergency stop button on the panel in front of him, causing the pod to hover to a stop just below the floor level, away from cameras and just out of range for guards to hear their conversation. Turning back to the group, The Doctor untangled Emma's hair and handed her the sonic screwdriver, "Keep this close to you at all times. It's very important you don't lose it" he told her, "Now listen. On the top of the cells there is a blue neon strip lining the roof and walls, that is a security beam commonly used in place of cameras. Every six or so seconds there is a blip in the strip..it's what i guess to be a power surge. To power this big of a prison, large amounts of electricity course through this place constantly and sometimes the power doesn't get there immediately..so that's our break. Look for it and count the seconds til the next one. Activate the screwdriver exactly when the blip occurs and we can slap this place with a blackout for at least a few minutes until they get the power back on. The Eternals will be watching and are far from stupid so we have to do this quick and as stealth-fully as possible...or else we'll end up in this place".
Turning to the empty space in front of him, The Doctor smelt first to make sure Ryarya was there then continued, "As for your part, there is a guard standing next to the elevator. Once Emma gets the power trip it'l be up to you to knockout the guard before he can sound an alarm or get to Emma. Once you two have your mum, use the screwdriver to get the pod back into service and take it down. I'll be waiting for you and we can run back to the TARDIS. From listening to the guards i estimate the slave ship to leave in exactly...eleven minutes..give or take. We need to be on that ship before that happens...if anything happens get out of there..i won't risk either of you being trapped in here anymore than i already have". Nodding at the end of his speech, The Doctor breathed a sigh of nervousness as he hovered his finger over the release button, "Alright then...Allons-y" he mumbled. Pressing the button, the pod shot up to the floor level and hissed open it's doors, the guard turned his attention to The Doctor and Emma, directing them to the cell to the right of Ryarya's mothers cell, "I'll take her from here" he ordered, "They need you back on ground level. Some old guy troubles what i hear.". The Doctor nodded and turned back to the pod as the guard took possession of Emma; with a wink The Doctor wished Emma good luck just before the doors of the pod closed and raced him back down the tower. Game time..

| Ryarya followed them into the elevation pod, slipping inside just before the doors shut. She gently leaned back against the pod's walls upon entering, just barely in front of Emma and the Doctor. Just as a puppy tilted its head when it was listening or didn't understand, she did the same when the Doctor mentioned perfume. She had never worn perfume in her life; she didn't own any. With his mention of it, however, she detected a faint scent coming from her hands. The gloves! She hadn't paid any attention to the guard she had swiped them from, but it must have been a female. She must have been so preoccupied earlier that she hadn't paid attention. "Repulsive..." she mumbled, not wishing to inhale the scent. The guards probably hadn't noticed it because they were used to it.
As the Doctor explained each of their role in rescuing her mother, she listened attentively and assessed her options. The most effective means of completing her task would be to shoot the guard with a blast from her shock pistol. The pistol was derived from alien technology, however, and would undoubtedly get them caught before they had a chance to complete the objective. The quickest way would be more painful for Ryarya than anything, but it would get the job done. She nodded her understanding of the situation silently knowing that both the Doctor and Emma couldn't see her. During his brief pause at the end of his directions, she turned to Emma. "We'll have to keep an eye out for a back-up protocol for the strip. Most of my technology is derived from the base of their system, so they no doubt have one in place unless you already tampered with it, Doctor."
She pulled back her sleeve for them both to see the prototype vortex manipulator on her wrist. "I hope we won't need this, but it may come in handy should we get held up for any reason during the execution of this plan. It's not exactly stable yet, and can't transport through time, but it makes an excellent short range teleport. From here, it can get us back to the loading bay without a problem. I've made longer jumps with four people before." She sighed deeply. "For a rainy day..."
She pulled her sleeve back down, slipping back into silent invisibility as they reached the Tower and stepped out to meet another guard. Ryarya mentally readied herself for the pounce. It wasn't going to be a pleasant one for either one of them.

| Emma nodded silently after listening to the Doctor's plan. She made sure to remember every part of the plan he had outlined, and she hoped that it would all work out right. She held onto the sonic screwdriver that he had handed her, and wondered why he couldn't have just kept it with him until now, instead of tying it into her hair. She wondered how difficult it was going to be to brush her hair, later.
Putting that from her mind, she waited as the elevator doors opened, sending a faint smile in the Doctor's direction before stepping out of the elevator. She glanced briefly at the guard, keeping her face blank and unreadable. She walked along with them, keeping the sonic screwdriver hidden from the guard's sight. She felt slightly nervous when the Doctor had to leave, but she knew she could do this and didn't need him to help her with something simple like this, so she shouldn't feel nervous. She also reminded herself that Ryarya was there close by, even though she couldn't see her.
Emma looked up toward the top of the doors and saw the blue neon strip the Doctor had mentioned. She watched it and noticed the tiny flicker that he had told her to watch for. She counted the seconds until the next one. All she had to do was activate the sonic, right? She thought back, and nodded faintly to herself as she remembered his words. She counted until the next flicker would occur, trying to time it perfectly. Three.. four.. five.. six. She pressed the button on the sonic screwdriver at the exact moment the power flickered.
In the next moment, all the lights went out. It was just like a power outage back home on Earth, everything just shut off and went dark, everything losing the power to operate. Now if she could just get these cuffs off.. but she couldn't turn the sonic around in her hand to point at the cuffs, it was too awkward of an angle, and she didn't even know whether it would be on the correct setting for doing so anyway. She wondered if the guard might have a key to it, but she didn't know. She listened in the darkness to hear for Ryarya taking the guard down, and hoped nothing would go wrong there. Hopefully they could get Rya's mom out without any problems..

| The Doctor stepped out of the newly arrived pod on the ground floor, glancing back and forth as he walked out and took position next to the door of the tower a few yards in front of the elevation pod. Then suddenly a guards voice called out to him, "Hey you!" he yelled, "We've got a power outage. Prison wide. We need you to help with repairs. The main engines are damaged from the relapse of the electricity when it cycled through". Without another word, the guard ran off to, what The Doctor guessed, fend off the now rioting prisoners and eager escapees.
With his eyes pacing around, The Doctor took one last look back at the elevation pod then made his way to the engine room. There was no reason to draw attention to himself by ignoring the guards orders, at the very least he could stall for Emma and Ryarya that much longer by tampering with the engines. As far as the other prisoners within the prison; a simple open doors could shift the hands of fortune on his teams side.
Progressing through the prison, The Doctor made his way through the cell holds, directions through the various levels of the prison plastered on the wall aiding The Doctor in his journey. All the while, The Doctor quickly opened as many cells as he could as he passed by them, stopping and acting normal when a fellow guard came up the stairs and greeted him with a nod. Engine room..two floors down..got it.

| Ryarya carefully followed Emma out into the prison room where the guard began leading her to her cell. She fell silently into step behind him, ready to pounce once Emma had moved the plan into motion. Looking around, she noticed there were barely any prisoners up here. That was most likely because this area was reserved for traitors and the like. It didn't take long for her to notice the electrical strip the Doctor had mentioned for Emma to short out with his sonic screwdriver. It was flickering overhead just as he said it would be. You'd think they'd, at least, try and upgrade their generators, she thought as a shower of sparks landed on the dusty, hard floor where they fizzled out and died. The amount of security and electricity running the prison made her think their generators were extremely vulnerable considering how a majority of the lights, scanners, and security measures were malfunctioning on their own.
Her mother's cell must be at the very back. She cast a cautionary glance around them at the other prisoners up here. Most were very calm and just eyed Emma as though she were just like them. None made any moves towards the cell entrances. The simply watched at the guard let Emma down the dimly lit corridor. Ryarya was surprised to find that some of the faces up here were familiar to her though she would have sworn that she had never laid eyes on any of them before. Something stirred in the back of her mind, making her sway slightly and sharply draw in a breath. The guard must have heard her because he turned on his heel just as Emma shorted out the light with the sonic screwdriver.
Ryarya leapt into action, grabbing the guard around the neck and tossing him over her shoulder. The second his back collided with the ground, she delivered a swift rabbit punch directly between his eyes that knocked him unconscious. "Sorry about this," she said apologetically to Emma as she stood up and drew a small pocket knife from the inside of one of her boots. She quickly swept it across Emma's palm and squeezed the area until blood seeped from it onto the outside locks of the handcuffs, freeing her. Using a quick burst of healing energy, she closed up the wound and wiped away the remaining blood on Emma's wrist. "Let's go."
She sprinted to the back of the Tower, keeping an eye on the electrical strip, to where her mother stood expectantly at the entrance to her cell. She smiled warmly at her daughter and Emma as she motioned to the lock keeping her trapped inside. With the prison blacked out, the locks wouldn't be operating as normal, so Ryarya kicked the lock open with the heel of her boot. "We can reunite when we're all out of here," she told her mother, who nodded in agreement. She looked back at Emma. "Do we have time to free the rest?"

| Emma found it a strange sight, when the guard suddenly was thrown around by an unseen opponent. She almost laughed a little at the sight, but instead she stepped back to give Rya more room to work. She would have helped, but her hands were cuffed together and she couldn't do much like this.
As Rya cut across her palm, Emma was a bit surprised but kept still despite any pain from it. She watched how she got the cuffs off, and wondered why people would make a lock like that. It worked if you didn't know how to get it off, sure, but if you knew how, it would be easy to get off. She didn't like having to be cut to get them off, but at least Rya wa able to heal the spot afterward.
Having had her hands freed, Emma was much happier and slipped the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver into her sleeve, where it would be hidden, easily accessible, and not too easy to slide out. She wondered why he couldn't have just hidden it there to begin with, but then she thought maybe they would have checked there. She decided it wasn't that big of a deal, it had worked out well enough so far. She followed Rya to the cell where her mother was locked up, and smiled faintly to the woman.
At Rya's question, Emma paused and thought for a moment. "As easily as you got that lock open, they should be able to get themselves out, shouldn't they?" She asked, hoping that were the case because it would make things so much easier and quicker. "But we'd better get moving, we only have a few minutes. We have to meet the Doctor and get back to the ship quickly." She reminded her.

| The Doctor stumbled, nearly falling in the process as a hand reached out and grabbed his foot then let go once The Doctor had come to a complete stop. Turning around, The Doctor stared at the Eternal as it rose up from the metal grating of the floor, its body wavering like the waves on the ocean before solidifying into it's full form when its feet touched the floor. "You seem nervous guard..why is that?" The Eternal hissed, hovering around The Doctor, eyeing every inch of his uniform and body critically, "Yes..there has been talk of a riot and the prisoners escaping" The Doctor replied.
"Oh that..yes...indeed. But the prisoners will never leave this place. You of all people should know that. The chips we insert them with prevent them from moving five feet from the perimeters of the prison...a chip found in every guard as well" The Eternal replied, waving his hand over the exposed portion of The Doctors neck, "Fascinating...no chip in you...which can mean only one thing". Without hesitation, The Doctor quickly spun around, jumping back from The Eternal and tossing his helmet off and to the side, "Miss me?" The Doctor hissed. "Doctor!" The Eternal proclaimed, "You have been a thorn in our side for too long! This ends here!" he hissed, telekinetic powers lifting a nearby wrench to his side. With a thrust of his hand, The Eternal sent the wrench hurtling towards The Doctor.
In a split second decision, The Doctor flung his body to the left, dodging the wrench by inches; sending the wrench smashing into a nearby generator. Sparks flew, flames burst out of the machine and a mighty siren roared overhead. "Key bit of advise" The Doctor exclaimed, standing up with an eyebrow raised and a crazy, exhilarated look in his eyes, "Never let me stand next to something important". Picking up the fallen wrench, The Doctor took one last mighty swing at the generator then bolted back up the steps. Covering his face with his hand, The Eternal shielded his eyes, giving The Doctor just enough time to escape the villainous creature. With nearly all the prisoners now out of their cells and fleeing to the ship, all The Doctor had to do was follow the stampeding horde. The lights on the surrounding buildings and cells flickering off as the power from the now broken generator began to deteriorate. "Emma!!! Ryarya!!!" The Doctor called once inside of the courtyard, his eyes frantically trying to find them as he was shoved forward by the eager escapees.

| Ryarya nodded silently at Emma's reply, then spun on her heel and raced towards the door with her mother on her heels. The lights began flickering rapidly overhead before cutting out completely followed by the distinct sound of something powering down. That wasn't good. If the entire power supply had been cut, the lift they had used to get up to these cells wouldn't be operational anymore. They'd have to find another way down if the Doctor's sonic screwdriver didn't do what it needed to. She hoped it would, and voiced this concern aloud to Emma as she skidded to a halt at the entrance. "I hope that screwdriver he gave you works, and fast." She kept her mother close in the stance that a bodyguard would take with their charge.
As she waited for Emma to call the pod up with the screwdriver, she took the time to get a good look around the Tower corridor. Most of the prisoners had taken the opportunity as soon as it presented itself to be free of their cells. Some were even waiting for the pod, so they could also take it back down to the ground level. There was one in the cell next to the door, however, who was casually sitting back on the cot with his hands behind his head and his eyes locked on her. She moved to take a step forward toward his cell, but her mother stopped her. "Don't," she said sternly. "That man is not to be trifled with. He's not-" "I'm not a prisoner of the Eternals," he finished for her in a lighthearted tone that didn't match the malicious smirk on his face. "But you might be, Your Highness."
Ryarya blinked, taken back by this statement. She still had no memories of the so-called life she had before the 51st century. How did this man know her? Were they already acquainted somehow? She shot her mother a questioning look that was answered only by one that said they would discuss once they were all out of danger. The sound of the pod doors opening pulled her back to reality as she followed Emma and Lyriasharyn inside. Once they had reached the ground floor and the doors opened, Ryarya ran out in the direction the Doctor had instructed them to go. She vaguely heard her mother say something about hearing the Doctor calling for them before she headed off in that direction, but she couldn't quite make out the exact words. Her vision had suddenly gone blurry and a high pitched ringing erupted in her ears. She felt weak and dizzy. No, she thought, recognizing the side effects of using her abilities. Not now; I have to keep going.
Her body betrayed her wishes, and her legs buckled beneath her. She hit the ground in a crumpled heap as hundreds of prisoners swept past her in a sea of blurred feet. Her body was completely exhausted from all the power she had used that day. She tried to fight it, but her eyes drifted close as the darkness of unconsciousness claimed her. The only thought she had was if her mother, Emma, and the Doctor would be able to find her again. She didn't even register the dark shadow of a figure as it loomed over her.

| Emma ran with the others to the elevator. As Rya mentioned hoping the Doctor's screwdriver worked quickly, Emma was hoping the same thing. She also hoped there wasn't any trick to using it that she was unaware of. She had to push through the crowd of freed prisoners to get through to the elevator, then she began trying to figure out what to do. It took her a moment before she realized she just had to point the screwdriver at the button to call the elevator, and activate the screwdriver. It took another moment for the elevator to arrive. Just as the man Ryarya was talking to finished what he was saying, the elevator dinged to signal its arrival. The doors slid open, and Emma made sure Rya and her mom came inside with her.
Emma hoped the elevator would remain usable for the rest of the prisoners after this trip. She didn't want the others to get trapped here, but there was only room for so many people, in there. When the elevator reached the lower level that they needed, Emma rushed out into a crowd of people rushing to exit the place. She made sure not to get separated from Ryarya and her mother, and paused a moment to make sure the elevator returned for the next load of people.
Having ensured that they would have a way down, Emma next turned her attention to getting her group out of here, and finding the Doctor. Wasn't he supposed to meet them at the elevator? But something probably came up.. so they'd have to find him, she guessed. She looked around, and then Rya's mom said she heard him calling. She started in that direction with her, but then she stopped and looked back when Rya stopped walking. She wasn't sure what was wrong, but she didn't look too good. Emma frowned and called out to Rya's mom, then she went over to Rya.
"Are you ok?" She asked Rya. "What's wrong?" She wasn't sure what was wrong, but she wasn't about to leave Rya here. Careful not to touch Rya's skin, Emma pulled her friend's arm over her shoulders and put her arm around Rya's waist, putting Rya's weight on herself as she helped her. She wasn't sure what was wrong, but she was hoping that if they could get to the Tardis, the Doctor might be able to help her. She continued onward toward the direction that the Doctor seemed to be, slowed a little from having to support Rya's weight, but she didn't complain, and kept going steadily forward, hoping she wouldn't get lost in the crowd or anything.

| A sudden bump from a woman on his left shifted The Doctor's attention away from the massing crowd around him and solely onto the person who touched him. Turning to the woman, The Doctor eyed her for a second before realizing who she was and embracing her in a tight hug, "Haha! Told you i'd come inside one day" The Doctor exclaimed happily. Quickly glancing around, The Doctor kept one hand on Ryarya's mother and peered behind her, "Hold on..Emma! Ryarya!!" he called.
Bolting forward, The Doctor snatched Ryarya's mother's hand as he reached back, making sure he did not lose her in the midst of the horde. Looking up, The Doctor spotted the tower and began to force his way towards its direction. Luckily out of the midst of swarming bodies and cries of freedom, The Doctor spotted two figures huddled together, one helping the other walk. "Emma!" The Doctor called out, rushing over to them and immediately helping her pick up Ryarya, "We need to get her out as quickly as possible...i ran into an Eternal on the way there..they know we're here. Just follow the crowd and get her to the TARDIS. Once we're inside the ship i've got a plan".

| Lyriasharyn embraced the Doctor almost desperately with tears welling in her eyes as she was finally free thanks to him. She turned as he looked back around for his companion and her daughter. She gasped upon seeing Ryarya being supported by Emma as the two slowly made their way up to meet them. The Doctor took off in their direction, and so did she.
Ryarya was struggling to hang onto what little of reality she could manage. Her body was quickly betraying her and her brief return to the conscious world was slipping yet again. She couldn't really tell who was helping her along, but since they hadn't tried to kill her, she assumed it was either Emma or the Doctor. She was having a difficult time breathing and her skin had broken out into cold sweat, which meant her temperature was rising. Someone was speaking now, but she couldn't make out enough of it to tell whose voice it was. It sounded like a slurred hum of deep musical tones. Next came a much higher pitch laced with emotion, and she assumed that that voice must belong to her mother.
"Her body is giving out," Lyriasharyn was saying, placing her hands on Ryarya's shoulders. "She's used too much of her power. She's burning from the inside out."
