From Sonya to... What? (Robin/Strawberry)

"Fly faster!" Sonya grunted out, hand gripping her stomach as she tried not to trip over the uneven ground as she ran towards the TARDIS. Arrows zipped past her head as she ducked down, glancing over her shoulder at the small army chasing them.

All she wanted was to visit Cleopatra, all she wanted was to meet the one influential character from Earth's past and talk about all the things she had achieved. But no, after getting to befriend her, she was escorted to a room with Robin and told to wait.

Drinks were laid out for them, how was she to say no? It was hot! Take a sip from one of the cups only to have her entire system start to shut down moments later. Of course it was poisoned!

Go to leave so she can get to the TARDIS and fix herself up, get accused of trying to kill the queen of the Nile! A tearing feeling radiated up her right side, bringing tears to her eyes as she ignored what was obviously her kidney shredding to bits from the force being exerted on it.

Swallowing thickly, she stumbled against the TARDIS and fumbled with the lock. "Come on, come on!" Blood dripping down her lip and chin as she struggled to fit the key into place. "Robin, in!" Falling inward and onto the floor, she kicked the door shut behind her companion. "Emergency protocol, Regen: Star one!" Dragging herself towards the console, the time rotor already moving from the command she shouted out.

"Robin, med bay-" She gasped as her hearts shuddered in her chest. "Now!"

"F***, f***, f***, f***, f***!" Chris cursed, darting in the doors of the TARDIS, practically crash landing into the console. "Okay, okay, s***, okay, uh..." Chris stumbled to her feet, glancing over her shoulder at the dying alien. "F****** idiot, why did you drink that? Whatever, do you know what the poison is? WoAH," Chris yelped, slipping as the time machine shook with the emergency lift off. "You know what? I'm just gonna go get a s*** ton of detox s***, you, uh, try not to pass the f*** out." 

With that, Chris was flying down the hall that led to the med bay, knowing she wasn't about to drag Sonya down here like this. She was going to be too slow. Slamming the door aggressively, Chris burst into the room and immediately began rummaging for anything useful. Antitoxins, chemicals lying around to make antitoxins with, syringes - anything she could get her hands on. She never studied the ancient history of Earth, and she had no idea what symptoms she was looking for in a time lord. Time lady? Who cared? A woman was dying. "F***," Chris growled, knocking equipment on the floor left and right. It'd be a mess now, but she'd thank her later, if she lived. When she lived. She'd be just fine.

"TARDIS, can you connect me to the console or something? I need her to tell me what the f*** is going on!"

Groaning in pain, Sonya slapped a few buttons on the console, ignoring the worried chime from the ship. "Get- Get me... Holy S*** this hurts, get me to London!" Falling back down to the floor, she gripped at the front of her shirt, grimacing at the dual thudding of her hearts as they frantically beat out of sync. "Robin! Robin, get me-" Another sharp pain, this time from her back cut her off momentarily. "Get me a table ready! I'm coming in!"

Gritting her teeth, Sonya grabbed the edge of the console, blood dripping from her mouth onto the controls as she leaned over them with a groan. "Come on, old girl, run it though." She whispered to the ship softly, patting it with her fingers as she turned to face the ten or so steps she needed to take to get to the med bay.

"Come on then, let's do this." Uttering a soft curse, she pushed herself away from the console, she stumbled across the floor, a hand gripping the edge of the door frame and slumping to the floor, "Get, me. Up, I need up. Bed, bed!" Flapping a hand wildly in Robin's general direction, she breathed a soft sigh of relief when the TARDIS landed softly, the familiar wheezing and groaning echoing around the room before falling silent.

Chris sighed in frustration, dropping all the things she'd gathered onto the nearly cleared table before her, her talons scraping the floor as she ran over to try and lift Sonya. "You're too f****** heavy, you gotta help me get you up," she hissed, struggling to get her up enough to get her on the bed. "And you still haven't told me what you think the poison is - I can only do so much to combat it if you can't figure this s*** out, man," she sighed, all but dragging the time lady in the general direction of the things she'd found.

"Here." Chris tossed a ribbon of rubber her direction. "Tie that tight on your arm, I don't care which. I don't have time to find your veins." Rummaging through the mess of needles and medicine, she struggled to think of what she could administer if she didn't know what the poison was. "F*** it," she growled, giving up on finding something useful and returning to her efforts to get Sonya somewhere comfortable. "I don't want you lying down; you'll choke on your own blood. Just lean against the bed or something," she tried to order as soothingly as she could - which wasn't very - and knelt down before her.

"Please tell me you know what the f*** this is. Also where are we?"

Letting out a low growl, Sonya tossed the rubber back at Robin with a groan. "No, no, I need up. Get me up, up up! Standing, Woman!" Rolling her eyes, she grabbed the edge of the table and struggled to her feet, ignoring the way they tried to give out as she leaned against the bed. "Much- Owwww! Much better. Asp, it was venom from an Asp and it's too late to fix-"

Cutting herself off, she held up a hand with a faint smile, the familiar gold beginning to weave it's way between her fingers. "There, see it? This will, will fix me." Holding a hand to Robin, she shot her a warning look. "Something's gonna happen. I'm gonna explode. And poof!" Flinging her hands out in a poorly timed excited motion, she crumpled to the floor again with a pained groan. "Be good as new. Ig- Ig, Ignore me at the moment."

Coughing into her hand, she grimaced at the blood spotting her palm and hoisted herself back to her feet reluctantly. "Gonna change, You'll see. Much- Much better, maybe. Kind of. Hard to tell tho. Just smile, Woman. Damn your- Your blood pressure is higher- higher than mine. An' I'm the one with two hearts."

"What the f*** are you doing?! I can't help you if you don't just f******- ...what the actual f***?" Chris frowned, taking a step back at the golden energy between Sonya's fingers. "Wait wait what the hell are you talking about? You're f****** dying, let me f****** help you! I..." Chris growled in frustration, looking around the room as if she could find something that would help her now. If she would have tied the rubber on her arm instead of flinging it at her, she'd probably already be on the road to recovery, that stupid b****. "You really are just going to let yourself die this time, aren't you? You absolute piece of s***! You've lost your f****** mind! You can't just... aaaagh!" Chris shouted, holding her head in her hands. She's never lost a patient before. She had never had to experience someone die on her hands. This was so much worse than anyone could have described to her. She had no idea what was going on, and she knew so little about her physiology, and this was so overwhelming, and... and...

"Why the f*** won't you let me save you?!" Chris shouted, voice wavering as tears brimmed in her eyes.

Opening her mouth to bark back a reply at Robin, she paused, staring at the strange woman sliding, yes sliding, into the med bay. "Err.... What?" Blinking, she stared at the girl before spasming in pain and slipping a little bit on the floor. "Um... Who the hell are you?" She slipped a little more and groaned as she lifted herself back up with a grimace. "The Doctor? Um... Uh... I ate him! Yeah, ate him and now I'm digesting him!"

A pained laugh slipped out as she shuddered, another small cloud of energy drifting around her face. "No, But I am going to explode, so step back, seriously...." Grunting again, she hoisted herself to her feet and stepped away from the bed. Holding out her hands, she shook them a bit, a fond smile twisting her lips upward as the gold energy flowed up her arms. "Here we go, Ladies... See ya on the other side." A sudden laugh burst out of her as the energy swirled away from her, bursting out as she tipped her head back and let it happen.

Seconds into the light show, it stopped, suddenly sending the room into darkness, her head tipped down as she leaned against the bed. "Ah... Oh, Oh... Bloody hell, this is..." Sonya looked up, a man's face peering out from behind long bangs, a slow smile curling lips upward. "Brilliant!"

Chris couldn't find words. In the midst of her questionable friend dying, a strange child slip-and-sliding into the room, and warnings of literally explosions, she found it best to just shield herself from what was coming. And boy, was it coming. The light was so bright it felt like it was burning her eyes, no matter how tight she had shut them. The room was definitely noticeably warmer. The most important part, however, was the fact that her friend had actually just exploded into star dust. Like... for real, that happened.

As the regeneration died off, Chris looked up cautiously, trying to blink the spots out of her eyes. A man was here, and Sonya was not. She looked around the room desperately, as if that would reveal where Sonya had gotten to, but it was clear she was just gone.

Was she dead? How did this man get here? Sonya just... disappeared, after all of that. That explosion couldn't have been her final send off, could it?

... Could it?

"What. The. F***?" Chris spat, positively shaking in outrage. She didn't quite know what she was asking, but she was going to need some answers immediately.

Stretching his fingers out in front of him, he frowned curiously. "This is just weird, this is.. Proper weird. Never been a man before, this is... Oh! Oh! I gotta see myself! Outta the way!" With a sudden burst of energy, the man bolted out of the med bay and into the hall. "Lady, my dear, wardrobe please! Cannot be seen wearing women's clothing, while charming, they are a bit tight." With a chuckle, he pulled open the door across from the med bay.

Sliding in, he stopped in front of the mirror and tipped it back to get a proper look at his face, fingers reaching up to brush across the features now there. "Nose, ears, eyes! Oh look at those eyes! and this JAW! I am handsome! Look at that!" He spun around and stripped down to his underwear and grimaced at them. "No... Wait!" A manic gleam shone in his eyes as he started jumping up and down in one spot. "No more bouncing! Look! Robin, I don't bounce up here anymore!"

Reaching back, he unclipped the bra and flung it off into the clothes at random before running deeper into the room. "New clothes! New look! I am LOVING THIS!"

Chris wasn't moving. She was absolutely petrified. He ran out of the room and she just let him. With a shaky breath, she sunk down, leaning against the cabinet behind her. She put her face in her palms, sniffling to herself. No matter what had just happened, no matter how suddenly very strange things had just got, Sonya was gone. She could have saved her, the selfish b****. It was just a venom, she could have done something about it. Now she had absolutely no idea what was happening, and no one seemed to be taking this literal death seriously. Taking a deep breath, she looked up again, face carefully blank as she leaned on her arms, crossed on top of her knees.

There was someone else in here.

"... Who are you?" Chris murmured softly, brokenly, eyes still locked on the wall ahead of her.

"Look! Robin, I don't bounce up here anymore!"

"Shut the f*** up! You do not get to call me that!" Chris screamed, covering her head in her arms.

Tugging on a tie, the man poked his head back into the med bay, a small frown on his face as he studied the two women there. "Why aren't you laughing? You should smile, smiley faces, you know..." He grinned wide, showing off his white teeth then frowned again, pointing a finger at Strawberry. "Who are you? I don't remember bringing another tag-along with..." Turning to look over at Robin, he raised an eyebrow at her. "Did you bring this along? I told you no pets!" Ruffling his hair, he sighed loudly and disappeared back out of the room and slinging the tie over his head with a 'tsking' noise.

"No ties, no scarves, I want... Oh! Yes, this!" Pulling out a button up shirt, he slipped it on and buttoned it up, leaving the top two undone before turning to the mirror and eyeing the leggings he wore. "No. Definitely not." Stripping them off, he flung them out the door and turned to eye the pile of clothes he had yanked out of place earlier. "Slacks? No... Hmmm..." Tugging out a old pair of jeans, he eyed them before putting them on with a shrug. "Nice fit..."

Looking over at the mirror, he eyed his figure. "Yes.. yes this will do nicely." Chuckling, he winked at himself and strode out of the room, a slight skip to his step. Stepping back into the med bay, he flung out his arms and turned on the spot. "Well? What do you think? Be honest, I can take criticism. If you can find anything anyway." He winked at Robin and gestured down himself. "See? Told you I'd be fine, venom? No problem!"

"No, no, I mean..." Chris thought about it for a moment, frowning and finally turning towards the girl. "Did we? I'm really not sure; it wouldn't be a weird thing for her to do. Or uh..." She trailed off, eyes falling to the floor. "To have done..."

And then this mega weirdo waltz into the room.

Chris sat as this man ran around as if he owned the place, rage boiling inside of her. How dare he carry on as if a woman hadn't just died? While she didn't exactly know how to process any of the s*** that was going down, she couldn't deny the pure anger and absolute terror that she was feeling right now. It wasn't going to simply move on, as he clearly was.

As he entered the room for the second time, Chris struggled to her feet, brimming with anxiety and fire. Staring this man directly in the eyes, she stood as strong and solid as she could get herself to, wanting to convey the overwhelming outrage she was feeling right now. Small and fragile looking as she was, it was difficult to have people take you seriously when you were mad - and boy, she was f****** mad.

"You have ten seconds to tell me every single detail of what the f*** just happened before I use whatever the f*** I can find in this room to tear you to literal ribbons. I'll use the f****** kid if I have to," Chris growled, breathing heavily, knuckles white as her fists clenched at her sides.

"Sonya! Oh, no, too feminine... Er... Call me Sayo now, yes, that will do nicely. Sayo." With a smile, he turned to Robin and held out a hand. "Just give me a moment..." Making a calming gesture, he pulled out a drawer and held up a stethoscope. "And girl, I will have you know, the Doctor knows I borrow Lady all the time, he just doesn't know when I do." Turning to look at Strawberry curiously, Sayo eyed her up and down.

"Let's see, young, curious about the world, slightly dangerous... You rode with the big eared one, didn't you? Well, his TARDIS possibly took off because I landed her here... Doesn't like to be too close to herself." Turning back to Robin, he held out the scope to her. "Come on, Medic. Give me a checkup, won't complain like I did with the cactus needles last time." A wry smile twisted his lips as he jumped up on the bed and patted his chest. 'Take a listen."

Chris stood, frozen, listening as they half sorted the reason they were here, but it was nearly more frustrating than being given no information. It felt as if she were being ignored. Was no one going to define the literal explosion that had just occured?! This was absolutely ridiculous.

Finally being offered some kind of anything, Chris snatched the stethoscope out of "Sayo's" hands, quickly putting the ends in her ears. "You'll have to shut up for this to work - good f****** luck," she growled, pulling his shirt over and pressing the end of the instrument to his skin.

Thump thump. Thump thump.

That was the left side, though. Nothing to write home about - everyone has a heart there, and that proved nothing. Shifting the cool metal to the other side of his chest, her scowl deepened as she listened for the other heart.

Thump thump. Thump thump.

Taking the stethoscope out of her ears, she chucked the thing at his face with a shout of frustration. "Did you f****** die just so you could name yourself after a condiment? You f****** idiot."

Chris turned towards the girl with the dagger, gesturing to Sayo over her shoulder with her thumb. "Take him out."

Flailing his arms, Sayo tumbled off the back of the bed and groaned when he hit the floor. "I just regenerated and you're gonna throw things at me! See if I take you anywhere else- No wait! Cleo! Cleo's in trouble!" Scrambling back to his feet, he bolted out of the room and back into the console room, hands flying across the switches. "Lady, take us back! We gotta-" He stopped, coughing up a cloud of gold in the process before shaking his head "Cleopatra! Get back there!" With a spin, he flung a lever up and sent the TARDIS back into the vortex.

"You two, get up here! I don't have all day, well I do, but that's beside the point. You can tell ninny I had his TARDIS he'll never figure out when I grabbed it so he'll just have to cool his hide. Tell him Sonya told you, then tell him I turned into a man and ended up wayyyy hotter than him." With a wild laugh, Sayo slammed down a button and bolted to the doors just as the ship landed back in Egypt. "Come on! Someone tried to poison the queen of the nile, isn't that interesting enough to get you going! Move it!" With that, he flung open the doors only to run smack into a wall the ship parked against.

Falling onto his back, he rubbed his nose with another groan. "Steering's a bit off..."

"F*** Cleo, you have s*** to explain! Wait! You f******- agh!" Chris screamed after him, running towards the doorway and slipping off her feet. These damned talons were killing her in here, but it wasn't like she had time to waste, with this idiot about to speed off to get poisoned again and all. Cursing under her breath, she pulled herself up with the help of the bed and flew for the door, wings hitting all sorts of things, including the Doctor's poor companion. "Sorry!" She called over her shoulder half-heartedly, soaring into the control room to try and become the voice of reason in this f***** up situation. At the very least, she'd be the voice of violence and incapacitation.

"Mayonnaise, get your a** back in this ship!" Chris slid to a stop, and by to a stop, she means directly into the newly regenerated time lord. "You literally just f****** died, do you mind if we don't go and do that again? Didn't think you did, thank you!" She shouted, slamming the doors shut in his face. "F****** idiot. Slow the f*** down and start explaining. To me and blade-wielding child."

"Oi! What was that for?" Growling softly, Sayo got to his feet and narrowed his eyes at Robin, a finger pointing at her. "You aren't nice." Spinning around, he flashed Strawberry a smile and fiddled with the console again. "Dunno about your bag, Luv. TARDIS'll have it somewhere, in your room probably, either way that isn't here nor there. Now then-" Yanking on a lever, he turned back around and strode towards Nat with a gentle look on his face.

"I will explain everything later, right now there is a queen out there that is in trouble... Save her first, then questions, yeah?" Putting his hands on her shoulders, he moved her out of the way carefully and opened the door to look out this time. "Ah, much better, see that? Sky and a road." With a laugh, he stepped outside and looked around. "Ah... Hmmm....." Humming to himself, he strolled over to a nearby stall and swiped a cloak when the owner wasn't looking. Turning around, he held it in the TARDIS doorway.

"Come on, Robin. Help me save her, it's the least I can do."
