My name is Mary Sanchez. I'm practically living a 21st century Cinderella story. My father remarried when I was seven, six years after my mother died. When I turned fifteen, he died in a car crash with my dog, Moon. He was on his way to pick me up from a dance class. Once he passed away, my step-mother blamed me for the death and refused to allow me to go to another dance class. I have a step-sister and a step-brother, whom I don't necessarily like. My step-sister dances as well, thinking it'll get her a full scholarship to college. She's awful at it. I work part-time at a bait shack down by the docks in rural Louisiana. My house is in the... More rich area, in the midst of a large city. I'm a normal nineteen year old, who's trying her best to get into the Dance Academy in New York City. Or at least finding something else to do with my life.
My hair is long and dark brown. My eyes are a light brown ringed with dark brown, which my dad had loved to comment on all the time. My mother was a dancer, so I guess it's in my blood. I don't have a car, so I get around by my skateboard.
