Confusion on Calont

Dakota sat at a café, slowly drinking a latte. She thought about going back home, but there was nothing there for her. Her best friend Alexa sat across from her, staring out the window. Alexa, what do we do? We need a plan. Since Dakota's brother and sister had vanished without a trace, Alexa and Dakota had left their 'home' to search for David and Morgan. To no avail, of course. With just the two of them, there was no way to do find her siblings. They could be in an alternate universe! They could be anywhere in time and space! But neither Alexa nor Dakota had a spaceship, or anything they could use to find Morgan or David. So Dakota was stuck with looking for them on Earth. Which she had done, with Alexa right beside her the whole time. But they could not find Dakota's siblings. In plain terms, they needed a spaceship. Or a time traveler. Either would suffice.

Darren was busy, busy finishing his last kill. But unfortunately, he was caught taking out the trash by a passing alien druggie.

"Urgh!" He swung the bags into the large dumpster next to a bus stop. No alien or human would expect him to be the killer that he was. Darren needed a drink, something to satisfy a new urge that arose in him. Hunger.

He walked briskly into the cafe opposite the road, hiding the blade quickly as he entered the door. Darren gave a quick flash of a smile to the waitress and sat besides the window. He was surrounded by thought. All of his history had been wiped off the police database, but those files would be retrieved soon enough, floating around the matrix somewhere.

There was that alien that kept stalking him. He muttered something beneath his breath and their eyes interlocked. Darren was used to stare-offs but he needed to get this threat out of the way first. He nodded his head, not releasing eye contact yet. He then moved over to a table where a girl was sat at.

The waitress came over again, asked what he would like.

"Cappacino. Please." Darren, once again, smiled. His eyes fell on the girl. "Hi, I'm Markus."

Uh... Hello? Dakota said. She flicked her eyes to Alexa, then flicked them to Markus, who had just sat next to her. I'm Dakota... Why are you sitting next to us?
I'm Alexa. Same question, actually. Alexa says, glaring at the stranger.
Dakota's thoughts of her siblings vanish as Markus actually orders a cappacino!
What...
What are you doing? Dakota questions. She really didn't want to talk to anyone unless she knew they could help her and her search for her siblings. Aaaaaaaaaand the thoughts were back. Great. she thought.

"Sorry to be rude, I'm rather new around here and just wanted to say hi." Darren said, he looked down at his sleeve and saw trace amounts of blood. He looked up again, smiling, trying to mask the fact that he had blood on his sleeve.

The cappuccino arrived and he took sips, glancing up at the group. Have they fallen for it? Well, they fell for the fake name…possibly.

Darren looked out the window, still that alien was staring. He could have held the world record for staring at one single person but he knew that if he was to leave this 'safety' zone, it would be kill or be killed and right now, he had a clean slate with no criminal record and he didn't want to ruin that…yet.

Another girl had piped up as well and one of them looked rather rich, he could sense the sort of vibe that was being emanated off Alexa but he couldn't really say the same for the other girl...

"Just wondering, do either of you have a spaceship? I've been meaning to buy myself one with the amount of money I had earned from my previous…job. But you see, I don't really know where…to get one." Darren said, sipping his cappuccino.

Dakota looked at Markus in shock. A spaceship. SHE needed a spaceship. She clenched her coffee cup tighter and sat there for a second, registering his question. Of course, Alexa had no clue about spaceships or aliens, but to Dak it was like cold water splashed on her. 
"No, I do not have a spaceship. What do you need one for?" She asked, very calm. But inside, she was thinking, This guy could be their ticket to finding Daniel and Morgan! She looked at Alexa, and Dak could see she was questioning Dakota's calmness at the question. All of a sudden, Alexa jumps up from the table!
"I don't know why you need a spaceship, but I really don't want to know. I don't want to get caught in something that could get me in trouble, so I'm outta here!" she exclaimed, and stormed out of the café. Dakota made a move to go after her, but decided it wasn't worth it. Here in front of her, Markus could be the one to help her! Even though neither of them had a spaceship. But why did HE need one, in the first place?

"So, what do you need a spaceship for?" she asked casually, still holding her cup in a death grip. She needed to know, just in case he knew anyone who did have one. She needed to either get in touch with the Doctor, or find her own way to her lost brother and sister.
