Emergence Event

Sonya let out an irritated groan at Darren's attempt at bravado, then again, he wasn't the first she ran into with that type of personality. "Fool." She muttered under her breath, red eyes narrowed as she watched him and Abaddon carefully, mind already running several calculations on the best way to walk away from the situation with minimal damage to herself. "Abaddon, Open the heart, surely you know how to do that, worthless lump that you are." She called, choosing the normal spiteful approach would be more amusing to the stronger man than a stupid direct one.

Choosing to simply ignore the fact he was stronger than her now, Sonya turned and hefted the crate closer towards the portal, sliding it through carefully before joining it on the other side, eyes adjusting to the change in lighting as she stepped into the TARDIS console room. A soft wave of nostalgia washed over her, causing a slight pain in the back of her mind once more, grimacing slightly, she shook her head and shoved the crate closer to the console, already prying the lid off in the process. "Come on, I want to be done with this. Once the Doctor's TARDIS is destroyed, we part ways. I can barely stand to look at your face as it is."

Robin rushed through the doors of the building, immediately noticing something rather important. The guards. Or lack thereof, really. Now that couldn't be good, but it was certainly convenient for her. But where was everyone, then? They had to have gone some place. Surely that's where all the employees went, how else could you explain their absence? Well, besides maybe mass murder, but no way it got cleaned up that fast.

She was still in a sort of situation, though. Not much use if she didn't know where to go. Lucky for her, a familiar figure caught her eye. A figure who happened to be hurrying somewhere. What else to do but follow him? It sunk in that she didn't need to - he was headed out. Oh. Running away, then? Was something about to explode? She wasn't taking her chances, no sir. 'Doctor! What's going on?' Best way to jump in, yeah? Just ask what's going on. Usually worked, if you were talking to the good guys, anyway. Starting into a sprint to keep up with the Time Lord, she glanced up to notice the smirk on his face. 'Thought of something, have you?' Her voice was already sounding huffy - blimey, the man moved fast.

((Assuming the TARDIS is outside, correct me if I'm wrong))

"His face is very distasteful," The Master agreed with Sonya, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. A grin was planted on his face but it hid beneath it a sort of anxiety. He was beginning to wonder what would happen if Abaddon was actually successful. The Doctor never lost, he always turned the tide at the end, but the stakes weren't usually this high. Abaddon didn't understand the game, if he was successful now then he would ruin everything, but on the other hand, with the dark matter at his disposal it would suicide to oppose him, and the destruction of Earth was definitely something the Master would benefit from. He wasn't going to complain if the highest population of Hive agents was destroyed by this emergence, but part of him was spiteful that it wasn't him killing them. Or the Doctor. He clicked his tongue then stood up straight. He wasn't going to take the dark matter to the TARDIS because he hadn't been asked to, and he wanted to keep an eye on what Abaddon would be doing. "So after you kill the Doctor and destroy this planet," The Master paced towards Abaddon with his hands shoved into his pockets and a non-chalant smirk on his face: "What next?"

Abaddon paused, setting down the crate onto the ramp flowing of the coral themed TARDIS, turning to The Master, "It's a good question" he replied with a nod, "But there are far more injustices in the universe than The Doctor....i propose an alliance. We can aid each other in our efforts to conquer this galaxy...you have faced The Doctor more than any other. You know his weaknesses and strengths and yet still cannot manage to defeat him. Allow me to help you...together we can take him down..together we can do anything we want with nobody to tell us otherwise. This is our time!". Glancing around the interior corridors, Abaddon paused before turning once more back to Sonya and The Master, "You want to know if i have the necessary drive to carry out my plan?" he asked them rhetorically, "You will get your answer soon" he added, feeling for the blaster in his coat before picking up the crate and beginning his walk down the corridor.

The Doctor looked over to Robin, keeping his smirk planted firmly across his face, "Well...i've always got something up my sleeve" he replied, turning to the control console before a noise stopped him in his tracks. The cloister bell. The Doctor stopped cold, his eyes widening, "Someones gotten in" he hissed before shooting up to the control console and dashing around it, "Don't know why but the TARDIS really doesn't like what's going on! She's put herself on lockdown!". Suddenly the lights dimmed red, the doors sealed themselves shut and the corridors began to shift and move, trying to keep the intruders away from the center console as best she could, "We're stuck here..." The Doctor mumbled, his eyes wide with shock and worry as he turned to Robin, "Whatever you do...don't leave this room".

Sonya looked up at the ceiling as the TARDIS's lock down started, sending her up against the wall beside her and planted firmly against it as it shifted. "Ah, thought this might happen, she really don't like me at this point." She commented, an idle smile on her face as the wall bucked up against her, trying to push the Time Lady away as if with a sharp shrug. "Easy girl, just me." Turning to look at Abaddon and her brother, shoulders lifted in a light gesture. "Come on then, keep moving, she'll be swapping the corridors around at this point and unless you want to be slid right into the Doctor's arms without warning, start walking boys."

Without bothering to wait for them, she shifted forward and hefted the crate once more before walking down the hallway, carefully side-stepping an open door as the hallway tilted under her feet. "Well?" Looking over her shoulder, Sonya glanced back at them with a raised eyebrow as if in question.

Darren stood in the TARDIS, eye widened in surprise of the decor, it was rather nice. But in his little moment of 'awe', he had forgotten that he was carrying a dangerous substance, abiding and helping another criminal. Something he had rarely done, and many of them had unfortunate ends. This one was no different, Abbadon was going to die, if not, Darren would had been killed himself. Something was stirring inside him, an itch above the shoulder-blade, his call to kill.

He could see the bulge under Abbadon's jacket, remembering the blaster used at the market stalls. Darren narrowed his eyes at this, already on high alert as Sonya had gone over to apparently soothe the machine.

"Right…Dark matter, caution." Darren tried to joke, but his facial features said something entirely different. Anyone in the right mind could see that he was going to lash out and kill somebody, but this group were not in the right mind at all.

The Master was related to Sonya, meaning there were two aliens and two humans, whether Abbadon actually counted as a human from the swallowed Dark Matter, he did not know.

"What are we supposed to do with it?" Darren growled, catching up to Abbadon. There was no real need to hide behind his mask with this man, it was certain things would end in bloodshed. His min aim was to remove the blaster and turn it upon him.

"You can stop being so cryptic. We'd be dead by the time your plan come's to life. Or it'd be you that's dead…" Darren muttered the last line.

The Master cocked his head to the side at Abaddon's words, keeping his mouth shut. He nodded as if he was thinking about it then headed into the TARDIS after the others. He was silent as Sonya issued her instructions but did as she suggested, walking after her. "Watch your tongue," he whispered to Darren as he passed by him. Then he grinned and whispered: "The best moment is always the most ambiguous." He kept on walking as if he had said nothing to him. His meaning was just as vague as it always was the key point was obvious: make sure you could turn the moment either way depending on the victor. The advice was the Master's way of honoring their friendship, because in all honesty, The Master had no idea what he was going to do next.

"Abaddon, no matter what you do today, it won't change the past. Your planet, your history, it's a constant, a fixed point in time. No use in trying to kill me, your revenge will be bittersweet." The Doctor paces back and forth. "I suggest you quit while you're ahead, and while I'm still calm. You're messing with my TARDIS, and my friends. Do whatever you must to me, but when you mess with the people I care about, and the machine that made your existence possible, I suggest you leave now, or face the bringer of darkness, the oncoming storm. I will end you, so now, as a warning, all three of you," Thirteen refers to Sonya, The Master, and Abaddon. "run, and hide. Because my anger is coming, and it won't be pretty." With that last part, he adds firmness, an almost intimidating tone to his voice. No plan, but winging it was what he did best.

Abaddon stepped out from the shadows, quickly finding his way to the control room and entering it from the spiral staircase; setting the container of Dark Matter firmly down in front of him. "Doctor" He sighed, stepping forward towards the Tenth and Thirteenth incarnations of his adversary, glaring them down before he caught sight of Robin, "Oh and i see you brought me another target practice" he chuckled, "Not that it matters anyways. One of you won't see her die...while the other..well...lets just say will feel the worst pain he has ever felt in all of his lives". Smirking, Abaddon peered from the two incarnations of The Doctor, his left hand feeling up against the blaster in his left pocket, "Abaddon you don't have to do this" The Tenth Doctor insisted, "Let me help..let us help you. I'm sorry what i did. I am, i truly am. But you are putting way too many lives at stake here, if you don't stop now...i'm going to have to stop you".

Abaddon chuckled, lowering his head as he shook it, "No Doctor..." he mumbled as he gazed up at The Tenth Doctor, "You won't stop me at all". Quickly Abaddon yanked out the blaster, pointed it directly at The Tenth Doctor and shot him dead on between the two hearts. The blasters end smoked as The Tenth Doctor sank to the ramp floor, coughing as he struggled to hang on to life. "Funny thing is...The Valeyard told me what we did for you Doctor...all of you. He brought you all back as punishment..but you can't regenerate. Let's mark that as one down...twelve to go" Abaddon proclaimed, turning his attention and blaster towards Thirteen, "It all ends here...i kill you and The Doctor's stop...him..he's just an echo of your past incarnation..but you...you are the true Doctor..." he concluded, his finger inching on the trigger. The Tenth Doctor lowered his hands, causing them to hit the ramp flooring with a thud and he glanced off to the coral support columns nearest him, his life flashing before his eyes. This is it... He thought, This is how my song truly ends....

Sonya's eyes widened at the shot, a sudden pain slicing through her mind as she watched the Doctor slump to the floor. With a strangled scream, she felt a sudden wave wash over her body, sending a soft, yellow glow to float around her as she raced over to her friend's side. Eyes blinking away frantic tears as she fell to the grating beside him. Without looking over, she flashed out a hand in Abaddon's direction, sending a sharp wave of energy to push him back and send him sprawling to the floor. "Time, I need time." She mumbled to herself, already pressing her hands against the Doctor's chest, trying to stop the blood as it spilled out. 'His blood is coming out, meaning at least one heart is working, if one is working then he isn't dead. Remember that, focus.' The Time Lady sternly told herself, trying to calm the panic that washed over her from the sight of red staining her skin.

Looking over at the thirteenth Doctor, she opened her mouth, trying to think of something to say only to clamp it shut again and shake her head from side to side. No words could ever make up for what she's done. Nothing could, except... Looking back down at the Doctor, she felt an idea take hold in her head, not the best one she's had, but it would work, if he would just stay out of his senses long enough to give her the time to do it. Without bothering to warn him, she clamped her hands over the wound tightly, wincing in sympathy at the pain she caused from it and closed her eyes, focusing everything in her body and mind, sending it all into him with a wash of warm light.

Everything she said and did echoed around in Sonya's mind, reminding her of what and who she was. Darkness, evil, vile thing that dared to call herself a Time Lord and friend. Well no more, this act... This one act ought to make up for some of it, right? It has to, something good has to come of this, something good sent towards someone that needs a bright light in the dark universe they lived in. "Abaddon..." She gasped out, refusing to look up from her friend's face as she worked, already her body felt tired, weak and unable to move. "Thank you, ironically, if you didn't shoot him... I wouldn't have been able to push the Nightmare Child aside. So this... This is your fault and you have to live with it now." With a manic laugh, she closed her eyes and leaned over, resting her forehead against the Doctor's, the last of her own energy knitting the wound closed and leaving her empty for the first time in many lives. "This time I get to say I'm sorry, Doctor. How about that?"

"True Doctor? I might be. I could possibly be the last to exist. But then again, you don't know about what happened on Trenzalore. And neither do I, but I can comprehend one thing. Chin Boy did something there, that made it possible for us to be here today. I could possible be 13 out of 24 Doctors. So shoot me, go ahead Abaddon, hit me with you little laser. But I'll come back better than before, and point that gun at me, go ahead. I won't go down without a fight!" He exclaims. "You've taken too many lives, and you're bound to take more. Abaddon, I tell you this, no second chances. No clever plot. Just good ol' fashioned revenge. Revenge for what you did to all those people, and what you did to me, the one who's hearts could fail at any moment.." Walking up to Abaddon, Thirteen looks back. At himself, and at Sonya. "If the Nightmare Child is truly gone, help me, both of me. Lets kill Abaddon quick, I have a planet to go pull from a pocket universe at 8, and I'm behind schedule."

Looking up from where she slumped over, Sonya cast a slightly amused look over at the Doctor, a wry smile flitting around her lips. "Not gone, pushed aside at the moment more like. Can't get through. And to be honest... I don't think I can get up, Doctor Man. You're on your own unless your double here decides to stop being lazy and gets up for a bit." Returning her attention to the Doctor in front of her, she patted at his cheeks lightly before frowning in frustration. "Oi! Space man, get up and start doing something, don't you dare tell me I wasted what I have on you." She snapped, a flare of anger giving her the strength to give his cheek a hard enough pinch to leave a red mark.

"Get up, help yourself out and then fix me. Because honestly, I don't know how long I can keep awake." She added, her voice already dying back down to the low one she barely managed to force between her lips. A soft thud in her chest making her red and blue eyes slam shut and her body to curl forward, arms wrapped around herself as she waited for the pain to recede. "Come on, get moving, don't make me waste energy pinching you again."

The Master felt a sort of sickness grow in his stomach as he watched Sonya. His own sister, willing to give up anything for her Doctor. But it wasn't a feeling because of that, it was there because he didn't feel anything else. It was like she was already dead to him. He tapped his foot impatiently beside Abaddon but kept his mouth shut. Whenever the Valetard was mentioned he wanted to curl up and hide from the world in fear, but he forced himself to stay still, showing no signs of fear or regret. The only telltale sign was that his sly twisted smirk had faded from his face to a bland emotionless scowl.

Robin hadn't really known what to say, honestly. Trapped in the control room, alright. At least she wasn't alone, and none of the bad guys were going to- oh. Her eyes locked onto Abaddon's form, his words practically floating right past her ears. She probably would have found him simply annoying, but the fact that he was nearly glowing purple was an indication that she should be scared. What was she going to do, though? Still trapped in the control room, no where to run. And even if she did, that... thing would shoot her down before she'd crossed the threshold. 

So she was useless, was that it, then? This looked to be a power fight, more than anything, and the best she could do wouldn't even make a difference. Well, she'd probably be shot, but not the kind of difference she was looking for. Robin started listening - actually listening - waiting for something to do, but quickly realized it was a bit late for that. The blaster's noise stung her ears, but before she even knew who was hit, Sonya was helping him. Sonya, helping. That was something she hadn't seen in a long time... 

But she still didn't know how to help. Standing there, looking like a frozen statue. Maybe she could get his attention for a minute, but that wasn't really going to help anyone, was it? Glancing over at the other members of his team, she couldn't tell who was human and who was killing machine, so that didn't help. Bloody hell...

The Doctor breathed lightly, his body taking in the regenerative energy from Sonya and processing it, the edges of his finger tips glowing with gold dust before suddenly he shot up into a sitting upright position, gasping. His eyes grew wide as he gasped in air before shooting up to his feet with new found energy, "Woohhoohhooo!" he exclaimed, "Blimey! Hold on...what's that? Oh! Yes! That's brilliant!". Turning to the Thirteenth Doctor, The Tenth Doctor quickly placed his hand on his shoulder, relaying the newly transmitted ideas given to him by Sonya. The Valeyard, Abaddon, Dark Matter, everything was connected and The Doctor finally saw it, all thanks to his friend. Spinning around to Abaddon and The Master, The Doctor grinned, "What do you find so amusing? This only stops me from killing you..not the other you" Abaddon spat, turning his blaster to the Thirteenth Doctor, "Well..simply because you made a huge mistake".

Abaddon rolled his eyes with an aggravated sigh, "And what is that Doctor?" he asked him rhetorically, his mind telling him to shoot the Time Lord twice to make sure he was down for good before he went on his monologue. "You came into the TARDIS" The Doctor began, pacing around the control console, "In an emergency, the TARDIS will deploy every single option it has to get rid of the threat within its walls. As well as leaving the inhabitants and flying away into the time vortex, leaving them wherever it was parked before. What if i reprogrammed the TARDIS's emergency landing spot in times of danger before you entered to the Tower of London? That would mean..this". Just as The Doctor began to stop talking, the TARDIS interior walls began to dematerialize, coral being replaced with brick walls, the grating with concrete floors and finally, the doors with the forms of several people.

The forms cleared up as the TARDIS fully dematerialized, revealing Kate and her team of UNIT officers surrounding the group of people, their guns aimed at Abaddon, The Master, Darren and Sonya. Abaddon glared around, amazed at how quickly he was fooled; quickly he turned his blaster to Kate but before he could fire, the blaster sparked. Abaddon let go of the gun, letting it hit the floor as it smoked and turning to aid his now burnt left hand. "Don't even try it" The Doctor hissed, his sonic screwdriver peaking out from his sleeve, "Arrest them!" Kate ordered, nodding to Abaddon and The Master and Sonya with her head before turning to the two doctors, "We can deal with this Doctor, you got an angry time lord in a crack to deal with".

The Master clicked his tongue in irritation. "Well, this is awkward," he grinned devilishly. "You need my help," the smirk on his face showed this had been planned out as a contingency all along. "To close that crack you could use up the TARDIS. Not favourable. Or you could use up the energy of a time lord. One single Gallifreyan would burn up to stop that crack. Two, on the other hand could close it up without fatal consequences. You're hardly suitable," he pointed at the 10th Doctor, "you're barely an echo of your true self. And she's in no state to do this," he gestured to Sonya. "So that leaves the true Doctor," he grinned, glancing at 13 as he quoted Abaddon, "and Me."

The Master stepped out of Abaddon's reach, his hands up in the air in surrender. There was a fire of triumph in his eye. "I've committed no crime, I entered the tower with the sole aim of looking after my dear sister and then, as Darren here will testify, we were all forced in here against our will. Several threats were made..." He flashed a grin back at Abaddon as he stepped towards the Doctors and their allies. "Of course, the only way to be absolutely certain there were no negative consequences for the Doctor and myself would be a little dark matter boost..."
His trickster's tongue was finally pulling for what he had been after the whole time. "You do need that crack closed don't you?"

Looking up from where she was slumped over, Sonya eyed the group gathered, distaste spreading across her face when her mismatched eyes landed on Abaddon. "I'll do it. Wouldn't take much, it just needs a little complication thrown into it, and the Doctor knows very well that I am a very complicated person with an even worse life." Reaching over, she gripped the coral strut beside her and slowly got to her feet. "And don't look at me like that, You know for a fact you can't do a damn thing about that... Creature in there and I can." She snapped, without bothering to turn around and see the expression she just knew her brother and best friend aimed in her direction.

"Abaddon, one last favor before you decide to put your little plan for me into motion. Close the crack with me, and I'll go with you. I know one Time Lord isn't enough, but perhaps one will do for now, then you can get your dirty little petty revenge against the Doctor later." Sonya said sweetly, each word dripping with sarcasm as she slowly turned around to face the crowd there, eyebrows raised up in her customary expression while her hands planted themselves on her hips. "Not a question. A demand actually. Not really a favor either, but there you are."

Darren growled, showing his teeth. There were things that really annoyed him, one being that he was surrounded by all sides and the fact that he had not a clue to what exactly was going on. But none the less, he silently agreed to play along.

"Yes, this crazy man right here…he…he forced us to come here and work for him! Can you believe this? Well, because I sure as well can't!" Darren used an strained and tired tone of voice to assure the soldiers that he wasn't really a bad guy, as his records had been wiped from most of the government's databases.

The cuffs were already on him, he needed to up his game. When they mentioned something about a crack, he could spot several. But by the way they were talking about it, it wasn't some ordinary crack in which a DIY kit could fix up. Sonya was back up on her feet with the same old attitude, but her eyes were discolored, which confused Darren greatly.

"Crack? I mean, tell me what I can do and…I'll help. So…" Darren tongue clicked as he quickly managed to undo the cuffs, shooting his hands into the air.

He had noticed a great deal of explosives laying around the warehouse, enough to bring the entire place down. That would be used for another time perhaps. Darren dived forward, grabbing the blaster and pointing it at Abbadon's chest.

"Hand's where I can see them!"

The Doctor glanced around the room, Darren with the blaster towards Abaddon, The Master and Sonya offering/demanding they aid in the issue with the crack. Kate looked over to The Doctors, "I'd say we just lock the baffling one with the gun up. The other two have legitimate cases" she commented, The Tenth Doctor glanced over his shoulder then back at the three, mainly Darren, "Right now he is our only link to this crack. If we don't shut it, it will destroy this entire city..including you". Nodding, The Tenth Doctor tried to ease Darren out of shooting Abaddon, extending his hand out to him, "Give me the gun...we need him. Millions will die if you shoot him now".

Suddenly the building shook with great intensity for a quick eleven seconds, then stopped. Kate immediately became worried, looking up at the ceiling as bits of rumble and dust fell on top of them from the shake. "Doctor, the decision is now" Kate called out to the two Doctors, The Tenth Doctor looked over to Sonya and The Master, "Just like in the academy then? Atomic fusion class all over again, but this time...we do it together instead of sabotaging each others project" he joked, edging a smirk onto his face.

"I never sabotaged your project, it kept failing of its accord," The Master lied, lieing was what he did best. "And he's right, don't shoot him..." The Master said to Darren. "Maybe later?" He shrugged. "Well then," he pushed open the TARDIS doors with a confident grin and his jacket caught in the breeze, billowing behind him:"let's go close a crack!"

"Don't go looking at me, I never had the pleasure/pain of going to school with you lot of madmen." Sonya snickered, her hand still pressed firmly against her support as she debated her ability to walk before finally stepping out and slowly making her way to join the small group. "Right then." She piped up with forced cheer, her smile already feeling painful as she looked around, both her red and her blue eyes taking in their faces for a moment for continuing with what she planned on saying.

"Either way, we'll need everyone to fix this..." With a shrug, she glanced over at Abaddon, her eyes sparkling with irritation followed by a dull ache in the back of her head. She knew what needed to be done, just didn't plan on telling anyone what it was. The last thing she needed was to prolong the inevitable. Turning back to the tenth Doctor, she flashed him a wide grin, imitating the one she always used during their many adventures. "Come on then, Space boy, let's get to work, yeah?"

The Tenth Doctor nodded, a smile emerging onto his face as everyone fused together all to face a greater threat. Kate nodded back at The Doctor, signalling her men to move Abaddon to follow the group as they made their way out of the building and eventually back to the crack in the fabric of reality. There it stood, shining, in front of the Tower of London, the figure of The Valeyard in the center, gazing out onto Earth and its people before the approaching group caught his attention. There they stood, all in a row, staring out at the common enemy, The Valeyard glaring back, "So here it has come" he hissed, "All my enemies...former allies..come to seal the one thing allowing their people to come back! Is this what you have come to be Doctor? Master? Not a healer, wise man or even a deranged child. But killers of your own people".

The Tenth Doctor shook his head, "No" he replied, "Our people aren't dead nor dying. They are alive and i will bring them back..but not this way..not now". Abaddon peered from The Tenth Doctor to The Valeyard, his eyebrows narrowed as he nodded to The Valeyard with a slight smirk quickly emerging, only to be pressed down as he lifted his head. The Valeyard showed no acknowledgment of the signal from Abaddon and turned his attention to The Master and Sonya, "Oh look at this. Brother and sister back together at once...and here they stand. Facing the truth of why they were separated..oops...i'm sorry. Forgot to mention that little detail. There are so many answers..for both of you..behind this crack...and you want to close it? What is this planet vs your family? Your friends..your people?!".

"Stop trying to tempt them. Your attempts at seeking out help and more lives have failed you once again. To think, a man of such greatness and caliber, lowering himself to that of the scum of the universe." Thirteen shook his head in disbelief. This man was going to be him someday, and there was no possible way to change that. He just had to live with the fact that he would become The Valeyard. "Valeyard, you were once a great man, surely you have some of that still in you. But, what you are now, is no better than a Dalek, Cyberman, you name it. Sacrificing the milliond of lives you once tried to save." Disappointed in well...Himself, The Doctor looked over at Ten with a grin.

"I will save Gallifrey, and when I do, The Doctors will be there, to stand in triumph." Turning to the group, Thirteen said firmly. "Let's get this over with. Still gotta pull a planet through a pocket universe, and then have to attend a Beatles party. It's gonna be groovy!"

(Sorry everyone, had to sneak "groovy" in at least once during this)

Sony narrowed her eyes at the Valeyard, absolute loathing emanating from her form as she clenched her hands into fists before reaching over and squeezing her brother's quickly in a rare attempt at affection and stepping forward. "I don't need the reason why I was sent away. What I think may be wrong, but my thoughts have brought me towards the one thing I needed, a family, better than the one I had at the start, I'll add." She snorted, arms crossed over her chest and feet planted apart to give her better balance as she used the last of her strength to stand in front of the one being she despised more than her parents.

"You may be the Doctor in the future, you may be trying to save your own people, but your doing it wrong and you know it. Looking over her shoulder at both of the Doctors standing there, she flashed them a wry smile. "These two men are more than you could ever hope to be. More in everything, more Time Lord, more Doctor and more of a friend. Not that you care, do you?"

Turning back to the crack, Sonya let out a low sigh, shoulders slumped slightly as she contemplated what to say next. "And for once, I don't have the words to throw at you that would cause a wound. My mind just doesn't want to work right at the moment considering the mental battle I've been going through for the past month or so..." Trailing off, she stared at the ground between her feet silently. "Gallifrey will come back, when it's the right time. And if you can't wait, then you'll just have to deal with the lash of failure once again."
