| Britain.
Lilith had never really been to Britain before, but it had seemed interesting enough. The flight had been long... And definitely worth it. So, here she sat, watching TV in a hotel room in Britain. A fitting scene, but as she surfed through the channels, one caught her eye. The news channel. Breaking news, it said- An alien ship above Britain! Perhaps it was just a hoax, but she had to know where it was at.
The internet held every bit of information within minutes of its' revelation, these days, so she opened her laptop and went straight to Google. In a few minutes, she pulled up an article and began to read. It hovered directly above Terrin Street and covered several others. Terrin Street... Only a few blocks away from her. The first screams and shouts started up outside her hotel room and she shut her laptop, rushing out the door.
She took the elevator and was shortly outside, gazing at the massive thing. It wasn't the first time something had invaded Britain- Or so she had heard. It was... Huge. She stood in the street alongside what must have been hundreds of other people, still in shock from the awesome sight. Then, a smile spread across her face. Now, this was exciting!
A door seemed to open on the bottom of the huge spaceship-looking-thing. It began as a crack in the metal through which light shone, then broadened until it was wide enough for a ladder to fall through. Wait- a ladder? Advanced alien technology and they used a ladder to descend? Lilith bit her lip to keep from laughing, trying to tell herself that this situation was serious. What a welcome, indeed, she said to herself as she backed up onto the sidewalk again. The further from the door she was, the better she felt.
Another moment and Lilith felt a little dizzy. The weight of what was going on seemed to hit everyone at that moment, and chaos broke loose. People ran and screamed while others simply stared, their loved ones tugging at their sleeves and begging them to run, too. Lilith squinted at the light coming from the open door, swearing she could see something moving.
The ladder jiggled a few times, and something began to descend. Something humanoid. She thought so, anyways.

| Emma had her head resting against the window of the taxi cab as it took her toward her destination. She figured this tiredness must be what was known as jet lag, considering that by her time it was probably like the middle of the night, or possibly early morning, but here in Britian it was what, like morning or afternoon? She hadn't had a nap on the plane either, because she was busy looking over the files and stuff that she was supposed to be familiar with when she met with Agent Prentiss of Interpol. But she was fine, she'd gone plenty of days with little to no sleep, in college and in high school, and before that even. She figured her body was probably conditioned to run on little sleep or something.
Regardless, she must have been starting to doze off because she was startled awake when the taxi came to a quick stop. She sat up and looked around, pushing her sunglasses up slightly to rub her eyes. "Wha..?" She mumbled in confusion, coming back to the world of wakefulness. She looked ahead and saw a crowd of people gathered in the street. What was going on? Some sort of parade? She frowned as she noticed their behavior, however. The cab driver got out of the car to get a better look at what was happening out there. "Uh.. what are you doing?" Emma asked. She frowned and tried to get a look out of the window, but the crowd blocked her view. Sighing in frustration, she stepped out of the car and looked around, trying to find the source of the crowd's fascination.
They were all looking upward, it seemed. Emma did as well, and her eyes widened. "What the..huh?" She blinked and looked more closely. That had to be an illusion, right? She noticed a sort of ladder thing coming down, and her frown deepened. Someone's idea of a prank? She studied this thing closely, trying to see any sort of flaws that might give away the prank, or whatever. But, what made her a bit uneasy was, this looked totally genuine.
Her attention was suddenly drawn back to the crowd when they started to scream and push and run away. Then she spun around as she heard a car door slam behind her. The cab driver was back in the car and looked panicked as he put the car in reverse. "Hey, stop!" She ran a few steps after the car as he reversed, spun the car, and sped off in a panic. She then sighed and put her hands up to her forehead in frustration. She'd lost her ride, her luggage, even her files.. wonderful. At least she didn't use a purse, because that would've been gone too. All the important stuff she carried, like a cell phone and money and stuff, she kept in her pockets.
Since she was now apparently stranded here in this spot, she figured she might as well stick around and find out what would happen. She turned her attention back to the space ship thing and watched, folding her arms. Her sunglasses hid her eyes, but from the part of her face that showed, she looked thoughtful and perhaps curious, not afraid like most of the crowd which had by now fled.

| Logan was wandering around, aimlessly as he had his day off but his police badge tucked safely in his pocket. It was strange not being on the battlefield, strange that everyone seemed rather calm and simply getting along with their lives. It was a fun day being around London, but suddenly people craned their necks upward, and so did he. For some reason, it was a descending ladder. He was definitely spooked but not yet ready to run, people ran, screaming at the top of their lungs, wasting their breath. He wanted to run, logan really did, it reminded him of the time that his troops had to retreat from an advancing enemy, the screams and shouts…Then he saw it, a large spaceship. Maybe it was because he wasn't looking properly but it was definitely a UFO, well, maybe a IFO that did not carry a name.
"Okay…slowly back up…" He had no weapon on him, which was his first initial action upon facing a threatening situation. Constantly, he had to remind himself that he was part of the police force and not part of the army anymore. Logan stumbled, falling into a woman wearing sunglasses.
"Sorry, ma'am." He said, a calm tone despite the situation. Logan hoped that the scenario could not get any weirder. The ladder kept descending, finally touching the floor and the humanoid figure reaching the ground. Yep, was definitely going to get much weirder. Logan groaned, crossing his arms and going over to any far wall and watching from a distance.
The crowd was watching from a safe distance and he thought it best that he pulled on his badge before getting manhandled away from the scene. So the chain of the ID card went across his neck and he continued to look at the scene, feeling rather stumped on what on earth was the humanoid figure that had come to earth.

| Emma frowned as she watched a humanoid type creature descend from the ladder that extended down from the space ship. She wondered what was going on. Was this an alien invasion, or some trick using advanced special effects? Or, maybe this whole crowd was unknowingly involved in a movie scene or something. That would make a bit of sense, but somehow, something told her that this was not the case.. that this was totally real and not staged at all.
Then, some guy bumped into her. She glanced in his direction and shrugged a little at his apology. "It's fine.." She said, fixing her shades from where they'd gotten knocked slightly sideways when he bumped her. She surveyed the guy briefly. "What's going on, officer?" She asked, recognizing the ID card that said he was a cop. And a local one, apparently. At least he, unlike her, was not out of his jurisdiction. Maybe he'd know what was going on? She hoped so, she'd really like to get an explanation for this stuff.
