The Fwoopers

A colorful, humanoid species with slightly webbed hands and feet--6 fingers/toes per appendage. Their eyes glow when they meet someone or find something they particularly like and their hair can be either bright green, yellow, red, blue, or violet. Typically, they wear little clothing as their home planet is constantly warm. Overall, a rather lovely species. They visited Earth in the past but stopped some centuries ago when humans started becoming more violent towards them.

Name: Fwooper

Appearance: Humanoid (two arms, two legs, a head and a body)and rather slim, they have vibrantly colored skin in a variety of colors (bright violet, light blue, green, yellow, and orange) as well as similarly colored hair that comes in red as well. Their hands and feet are slightly webbed and they posses 6 fingers/toes per appendage. They typically don't wear much since their planet is constantly warm.

Attitude: They are a very peaceful people, averse to weapons of any kind, though they will use them if the absolutely have to (an event that has never been necessary). They welcome visitors and are avidly curious about other planets and their inhabitants, Earth in particular.

Technology: Their technology is rather basic: a simple form of electricity for lighting and appliances, radio (not television) for news.

Backstory: They visited Earth some centuries ago in their quest to learn more about the human race and the planet itself, but were forced to leave when humans started reacting violently to their presence. They harbor no grudges or ill will towards humans and hope to someday be able to return peacefully.

Present: Their main goal is learning all they can about every species in the universe (the galaxy first but eventually the universe). At present they have little information as most of the planets they have visited have attacked before they could learn much of anything.

I'm going to ask you provide with a little more detail before we can approve this.  

Some things you should add:

• More on their attitude. They are pacifists who enjoy exploring, but what else? How do they treat one another? Is there a hierarchy on their planet? Give us a bit on their culture and how that effects their daily lives.
  
• Technology. If their technology is so basic, how could they travel to earth? It's okay to say they have basic technology if there is another way for them to get to earth. Did they get their hands on a travelling device/vehicle from one of their visitors? Did they hitch a ride with someone?
  
• Backstory. Perhaps add a bit about what's happened to this species back at home (their planet's history). Does their home planet have a name?
  

Other than that I'm liking the idea! Keep at it and we would love to approve your creation :3

There is no true "rank" on the planet aside from a few elected officials that change every few years. Once a year there is "neighbor day", a day specifically set aside for giving gifts to their neighbors and celebrating their peace.

Technology: Their technology is rather basic: a simple form of electricity for lighting and appliances, radio (not television) for news. Almost 1500 years ago, an alien ship (they never learned what and are still searching) crash landed and they managed to repair it enough that they could travel to Earth and a few others afterward. They barely had enough fuel for the return trip and since they didn't know the ship's planet of origin they couldn't obtain more fuel.

Backstory: Fwop was once a rather violent planet, everyone attacking their neighbors until one Fwooper began a rebellion against the war. He refused to fight for either side. For a while, he was alone in his mission but soon others began joining. The cause? A misunderstanding. From then on they resolved to be open with each other, to have no secrets and tell no lies. It seems to be working (whether there really are no secrets or lies is unclear but as long as there is peace, the officials are loathe to really enforce the law). They visited Earth some centuries ago in their quest to learn more about the human race and the planet itself, but were forced to leave when humans started reacting violently to their presence. After Earth, they visited several other planets and were treated much the same after a while at each. They harbor no grudges or ill will towards humans or the other species and hope to someday be able to return peacefully.

So far, this is looking much better and in my eyes, I think that this approved. I'll wait on Jack's reply and probably go with that But so far, looking good!
