Personality: jen is a spunky teenager who just needs some reason for life. all she does is draw. jen may seem rude, and probably is, but one she opens up she's nice and passionate. she's just depressed and a little over worked from dropping out of school and loosing her job.
Strengths: smart, tech geek, astrology smarts, SASS
Weakness:depression, talking about school, life or death situations
Likes: roses, the color grey, adventure
Dislikes:people, haters, armadillos (only my close friend who i rp with will get that but....)
Dream: jen believes there is a reason for everyone, even if she hasn't met it or found it yet, she knows she'll be needed

History: as a kid jen grew up in the busy city, she had to walk home from school at night, meaning she had to drop her girly side to protect herself, as she grew older her parents hated her, preference for her sister lila, one year, she got a small apartment for her birthday and left, she had reached the knowledge of her mother at the age of 10, she stayed in school until she was 14, then she dropped out and got a job at a newspaper stand, but then lost that job at the age of 15, the rest of her life up until now has been walking around the city looking for a job

The Doctor is stuck under a flickering streetlamp, you are on the opposite side of the street. It's midnight, no moon or stars, the only lights around are the lamp the Doctor is under, and the light in front of a closed store you stand under.

The only way to the Doctor is to cross the dark street, easy, right? Wrong. This planet is well-known for being infested with Vashta Nerada. Any shadow anywhere could be infested with them. You have a small pack on your back with several items in it that you could use to get to him.

jen was petrified she had seen a couple people go the the vashta nerada and knew what would happen, she reached into her pack and grabbed the flash light, she turned it on but no more than what seemed a second later, it flickered off "damn it!" she screamed, not caring who heard as she thought she found herself humming a song her mother had taught her, she stopped quickly and shed. she opened the book of matches and lit one, she noticed that the street had a clear pathway to the doctor. she tossed the chicken leg along with a new match into the street, it immediately is eaten, she grabbed the sonic screwdriver out of her pack and turn it on, its dim light illuminating her face, she grabbed the matches and the carrot, 'please work' she said in her mind, she lit the match and held it up to the carrot 'this is the stupidest thing I've done in years' she said in her mind. the carrot flared up and made a makeshift torch, holding it towards the ground she carefully made her way to the doctor. "your welcome" she said bowing elegantly her spiky hair falling out of place

Creative way to move across the problem in your RP sample, i am impressed.

Aside from comma issues, meant for the keen grammar nazi, i do not see anything wrong with your application. As you RP here and meet different types of people you will pick up on their writing styles and improve.

thanks! I'm not the best at grammar, (ask anyone who knows me) but I've gotten better at adapting to many different rp styles

I'd be more than happy to help you along if need be. This place can seem a bit scary with all the information but once your out there...i see it as just imagining an episode in your mind and playing it out through writing and with friends.
