Rise of the beast

The Inventor's tardis stayed parked in a quiet place in the alley. He is in his lab inside working on a serum injective that will making him powerful and stronger. The Reason he is doing so is because he is trying to show Myra who left him for Jack Harkness that he is somebody and will show her what she is losing. " This will show her" he whispers. In order to make this serum he is using cross species genetics with a Timelord and Lizard DNA. Finally he finishes the serum and puts it in a syringe and injects himself with it. He smiles feeling the adrenaline and he lips up a big piano without trouble. After he puts it down he smiles and laughs until finally he falls on the ground and screams. He then turns into a giant lizard and opens the door to the tardis and runs out roaring and attacking cars and people.

Jack was walking down the street carrying a water bottle, making his way home to myra after a long day at work. suddenly out of the corner of his vision he notices a giant lizard about 20 yards away attacking the town. "what the hell is that? some sort of alien lizard, or a mutation?" Jack quickly shoots a picture of it, sending it to myra to send the reason why he will be home late tonight. then pulls out a new gadget he made today, a DNA splitter and time rifted pistol. now running in behind the beast jack take a telephone pole and lifts it out of the ground and swings at the back of the monsters head with full force. then slides out of sight under a car not to be seen. while waiting to see if what he did worked or not he gets the pistol ready to tear apart the beast before him.

The Giant lizard version of The Inventor fell to the ground outcold. The tail swings slowly and slowly stops.

jack now gets out from under the car and sees the giant lizard outsold, and much to his dismay, the thing, or more now a person. Jack puts the pistol away and notices the lizard turning back into the inventor. Jack then picks him up and carries him back to the allay and notices the tardis. goes in and sees the lab where it all started. it doesn't take jack long to figure out how he did this to himself. Heck the man left an instruction manual open on the table and the labeled containers out in the open. Jack then lays him down on the near by table and straps him down good and tight. jack then begins crafting the "turn back" solution for the inventor. after about two minutes he is done. but stops at the sight of the man with his eyes wide open staring at Jack. Jack takes a deep breath and only because he had to be careful, takes and knocks the man out just so he doesn't turn into a raged lizard monster again, then injects him and uses the pistol to strip the lizard DNA out and whatever else was recently put it. then jack calls myra and explains what append on his end. and then waits.

The Inventor wakes up now back to normal. "W-what just happened? "Jack is that you?"

"yes it is me, what ever you were trying to do mate, caused you to basically turn into lizard man from spiderman, but much worse, luckily i was able to knock you out in one hit, then carry you back here to your tardis and help you." Jack then rubs his neck and looks down "did you try to become stronger to show myra what she was losing? because i know how that goes mate and I'm sorry that I've been a bit of a show off. look thats all done now and i guess it wasn't right of me to even do that, I'm sorry I've caused you to do that mate." Jack then takes out a cigarette and begins to smoke it and sits down casually next to The inventor.

The Inventor nods and sighs,"yes...thats why". "I just feel like I did something bad to her that she didnt like".

Jack pauses for a moment, "look it wasn't you, things just happen, sometimes we can't control them and people fall for random people, i didn't choose to fall in love with her mate." Jack then finishes his smoke, and hands tor one after un strapping from the table. "it will be alright just take some time and clear your head, and please don't go doing any of this again please."

The Inventor nods and he takes the smoke and lights it up. "Dr.Curtis Connors he is a scientist from manhattan he gave me the research to create that". "I just dont know if I can find someone else though Jack".

" you can do it, i know you can, your smart, charming and well just look at you, ill even put a good word in for you. ever since i got married every girl i knew has been looking for someone new, so you never know." the jack hands for his little black book and then leaves the tardis and heads on home.

The Inventor nods then looks at the ground ashamed about what happened and he just sits in his lab alone. He thinks about what happened...the power the adrenaline but he knew its too dangerous and he shakes his head and whispers,"Never again.

jack then turns around and throws an apple at the inventor, "an apple a day will keep the doctor away, mate" jack smiles and then walks back to him and sits to have another smoke "and it helps keep the body strong, i eat fruit to keep me strong. that and of course alien food, hahahaha"

The Inventor eats the apple and he nods and sighs. "I just want to find someone and have a family again and have kids. "I want to have people with me all the time because I hate being alone". "I want to have a kid I can show how to fly the tardis and everything and I thought Myra could give me that".

jack sighs for a bit after taking a long drag off of his cigarette then says "sometimes being alone is the best way to communicate with yourself and find your place in life, the doctor did that once and then he found his wife. you don't like being alone but sometimes its better than having people around that aren't right for you at the moment." then jacks holds his hand out and says " maybe i could help you meet someone new in the world and you can go from there."

The Inventor nods and shakes his hand. "Yeah that sounds good". The Inventor smiles at him.
