Unlikely Wedding

The sounds of ocean waves broke over the beach on an alien planet as Sonya oversaw the construction of the wedding pavilion. Honestly she hated weddings, with a passion, but Jack Harkness getting married? She owed him a favor from the past... Also he offered all access to Torchwood's files as a payment. Something she could not just pass up, she knew there were files of herself in there, and she wanted to know what they knew, or thought they knew rather. That and it would be interesting to find the Doctor's files as well, couldn't hurt to see what he had been up to before she met the man...

A sudden crash echoed behind her and she winced, instantly knowing what it was. The pavilion refused to stay up. Even after they had dug holes in the soft sand to try and keep it steady. Only this time, she realized why it was being difficult. The louts were trying to put it together while trying to balance it at the same time. Turning back around, she put her hands on her hips, glaring at the three-armed workers in irritation. "Oi! Lay it flat, nail it together, then put it up, yeah? Much simpler." She barked, her eyes narrowing at the native inhabitants of the planet Myra had decided on for the wedding. She couldn't be too angry at them, they were artists, not architects. They even sculpted a crystal statue of Jack and Myra as a present to them. But they were horrible at building anything, in fact, they lived in caves that they carved into the mountains that dotted the planet.

With a low sigh, Sonya made sure they knew how to use a hammer, then walked on to check the rest of the preparations. Only three hours left until the ceremony began, and she still had to dress herself in the proper attire. Wincing slightly, she remembered the night Jack asked her to plan the wedding, and in a fit of drunken stupidity, she offered to be the partition, on top of that, she's giving two humans a Time Lord wedding! And Jack had already accepted it in excitement, so she couldn't very well take it away and act like it was a stupid idea. The last thing she wanted was to hurt the man's feeling on his day. Stopping by the small, circular bar, she studied the bottles of liquor she had ordered, making sure all of the shipments had came in and cautioning the tender that some of the bottles were marked, and were NOT to be given to the human guests. In fact, she had already sent out small tags to be worn on the wrist, identifying them as human or non-human. The non-human liquors could kill them or... Give rather interesting side effects.

Letting out a sigh, she studied the area once more, making sure the set up was complete before she retired to the villa just down the beach she had rented for the reception to change into her clothing. Oh this would be an interesting day indeed...

Jack was getting ready to finish shaving everything, then finally put on the tux. what he didn't realize was that he was actually getting married! it was the biggest shocker alone to realize he was in a relationship, but now getting married! He never knew this day would come, let alone ever happen while he was still alive, but its happening. Jack then put the pure sliver laced tux on and it fit perfect, after about 20 minutes of trying to just get the pants on. Now looking into the mirror to over look everything he says in a bright tone, "Well today is the day. The day i finally walk down the aisle to get married, and not see others get married." then he looks down at his journal and picks it up," I have carried this with me through the dark times and the bright times, now its time to give this information up. everything about myself and tourchwood, but it couldn't have remained a secret forever." knowing that it will be in good hands jack puts the journal in his back pocket and takes a deep breath, then starts to smoke a cigarette to calm his nerves. " i sure hope myra isn't scared." jack says with a deep breath, then begins to walk outside and see people moving about everywhere putting the final touches on everything for this glorious day.

Myra was getting ready, she finished fixing her hair and put the dress on. "This is going to be wonderful." Myra said as she finished her makeup. She then looked to her right and saw the picture of her and her family. 'If only they were here to see me get married.' She thought as she picked up the photo and smiled. 'They would be happy to see me get married.' She put the picture down and added one last touch to her outfit and then looked herself over in the mirror. "Perfect." She said as she sat down on the chair. "Just hope Jack isn't nervous."

Stepping out of the villa, Sonya nervously straightened the blue-grey satin dress she wore, swearing under her breath in Gallifreyan before spotting Fitz in the distance. With a slight grin on her face, she gripped the shoes she planned to wear in one hand while quickly closing the distance between them. "Fitz! Glad you could make it, sorry about the delayed flight. It was the only one I could book for you." She managed to get out before spotting Jack stepping out of the villa himself, instantly easy to pick out from the shine on his suit. "Oh damn, I gotta go, remember, I want the jazzy version of the wedding march, yeah? Make it a bit upbeat, Jack isn't one for dreary songs." She added, flashing the man a dazzling smile then turning around to run back the way she came, catching up with Jack and falling into stride next to him. "Right then, nervous? Yes, no, good. I need you to go stand under the pavilian over there. Facing the ocean, on the right please. Thank you, I'm going to find your fiancee and make sure she knows what to do with herself." Turning around, she set off in search for Myra, finally finding her on the other side of the Villa like she had planned to meet her.

"Myra! Good girl, I want you to go wait with your witnesses until you hear the wedding march. Then you step out from under those trees there..." She pointed at a small hill overlooking the wedding area, far enough away to not be seen easily. "Just be patient, yeah? It won't be much longer." Smiling softly at the woman, she wrapped her in a gentle hug before rushing off to the parking area for various modes of transportation that was bound to arrive. Mostly the time/space shuttle she had managed to book with some persuasion for this specifically. Every single one of the guests on Earth and/or out of this timeline would be picked up at their homes and brought here.

jack then headed to where sonya told him to go. looking out into the distance he could see all the beauty around him and all nervousness dropped completely. "just waiting here feels nice, i can't wait to say i do and kiss her." jack fiddled his thumbs back and forth waiting for the march to start and the ceremony to begin.

"Ok. Oh and do you like you like my dress?" Myra asked as she stood up to show sonya her purple wedding dress. "Where is Jenny at? She should be here by now." Myra said as she looked around for Jenny then sat down. "Oh god I'm nervous." She said to Sonya as she turned to the mirror once more to double check herself. 'Im so happy about today that I'm nervous.' She thought as she waited for Jenny to get there.

Jenny looked in the mirror and smiled she looked at her dress it was light green with a bow in the back it was a long dress it went down to her ankles she did her hair in a bun but decided to do her hair like normal since she couldn't really she opened the door a crack seeing she was still in the dress shop,"eerrr" She grabbed her Vortex Manipulator and entered the co-ordinates she disappeared in a flash then reappeared in the parking area she looked around then looked at Sonya, "Hi Sonya! Hi Myra!!" She said and smiled laughing a bit since she was excited she never really has been at a wedding so she didn't really get it and she wanted to go because it was her sister's wedding Myra's wedding and she wanted to show some support.

Ok, that was really weird. First of all, Mal retrieved a letter when she was in the shower. The thing came out of nowhere and caused her to scream rather loudly, startling her roommate out of slumber and caused a very awkward situation when Ash burst into the bathroom. Second, she had no idea who this Jack Hardabs was... Harkness. Jack Harkness. Mal had to struggle with her computer to research the guy and once she found out he was a very important man, she cracked open her closet and pulled out her best outfit. Mal wasn't one for dresses so she wore black pants and dress shirt, a grey vest and a blue bow tie. Fancy, oh yes. The third, and most oddest of today's events, was her means of transportation that would send Mal to the location of the wedding. When she found out it was on an alien planet, she almost passed out.

Mal was seen stumbling towards Sonya, fiddling with her hands nervously and her face was as white as a ghost. She didn't look well at all and when she finally stopped with the other three all she managed to get out was, "H-h-hey." Yeah, she was going to need a drink before she could socialize. Make that six.

Xeltia and her best friend, Violet, were running around in the parking lot, playing tag. "Xel, why do you like children's games?" Violet called to her, trying to catch her. "Just because I'm eight hundred ninety-nine years old, doesn't mean I can't have fun, Violet!" Xeltia called back, almost tripping. Laughing gleefully, she passed Sonya, saying, "Hi, stranger!", Violet soon following suit. Xeltia giggled childishly, using the Vortex Manipulator that she stole from Jack when they first met to disappear, causing Violet to stop, whining. "Aw, come on, Xeltia, that's no fair!"
"It is to fair!"
Violet turned around, the ginger right behind her. They stared t each other, daring one another to move. Violet stuck out her hand, trying to tag Xeltia, though she moved out of the way, Violet's hand brushing the material of her black trench coat. "I touched your coat, still counts!"

Cue loud argument on what's fair and what's not.

Robin stepped out of the shuttle, feeling very awkward. She folded her arms for a moment, before deciding that wasn't helping and putting her arms back down. She barely knew Myra. She'd never met Jack. So why was she at their wedding? Sure, Jack was sort of famous and all but that didn't give her the right to barge in on their wedding. Not to mention she was to be the flower girl of all things. Wait a minute... how does that work again? Mentally shrugging, she walked forward a bit and saw Sonya, some woman she'd never met before (Oh gosh, I'm not going to know anyone here...), and Mal. Well at least that's two familiar faces so far. Maybe she could just gravitate to them and try not to be awkward? Weddings, ugh. She put a false smile on her face and waved to the 3 women.

Sonya looked down her list with a small frown, mentally checking off each name as their face appeared and moved towards her. "Right, I need Jenny and Myra to go stand on that hill just beyond the trees there until the march is played. Flower girl Robin, you and Mal come with me..." Her eyes drifted over to Xeltia for a moment, studying her with a scowl. "You are not on my list, why are you even here? With your friend too, of course. Your lucky we have plenty of chairs on the groom's side, come on." She sighed, glancing down at the pad of paper in her hands before motioning for the small group to follow her towards the chairs and pavilion set up for the wedding.

Motioning to Mal ,Xeltia and her friend to sit in the chairs before them then turned to Robin with a smile. "You go stand by the back of the chairs, wait for Myra to get close, then step out in front of her about five or six feet ahead then do your thing." She patted the young girl on the head before walking over by Jack, a hand clapping him on the shoulder as she passed him to stand behind the small altar set up there. "Right... I think we're ready..." She announced to the crowd gathered, looking over at Fitz, she nodded the go-ahead to begin to play.

"Jack, I want you to continue staring at the ocean behind me. Do not turn around to look at her either, its part of the ritual, yeah?" Sonya murmured in an undertone to her longtime friend, a weak smile on her face as she studied his expression. "You ready for this, mate?"

Xeltia pouted when she heard her name wasn't on the list, Violet snickering. "What? Jack and I are friends! Well, not really, I almost killed him. Twice. I would've gotten away with it of it weren't for little Miss Tyler-" She stopped, the two women glaring at her. She cleared her throat awkwardly, looking down. "I know him, that's all that matters." She muttered, following Sonya to her chair. Sitting in the chair, she slouched, glaring at the back of Jack's head. Violet rolled her eyes, shaking her head.
Noticing Mal for the first time, she smiled, waving to her. "Hi, Mal!" She then went back to her original pouting state.
The Master plopped down next to Xeltia, also pouting. "I have no idea how you convinced me to come." He said, looking at her. She smiled childishly, giggling. "Because I'm just that awesome." She replied, nudging him. He smiled lightly at her attitude, chuckling. "You never fail to amaze me, sweetheart." Xeltia glared at him, thumping his head.
"Ow!"

"Don't call me sweetheart."

Violet smirked, softly singing, "Xeltia and Master, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G~" The two Timelords glared at her, pouting. Violet stopped, deciding to complain about Xeltia's attire. "Why are you wearing that?"
Xeltia looked down to her clothing. A black and white checkered skirt, a checkered belt, black and white tights, black and white boots, a white dress shirt, a black tie, and a black trench coat.
"What's wrong with it?" She asked innocently, frowning. Violet gave her a 'Really.' look, gesturing to her clothing. "You look like a chess board." She said flatly. Xeltia glared. "You don't see me criticising your clothes!" She defended, the Master leaning back in his chair, amused greatly. "Yeah, 'cuz I'm wearing suitable clothes for a wedding!" She hissed, not wanting to be heard by anyone else. Though they weren't invited, she didn't want to get kicked out. Xeltia looked around, checking to see if no one was listening, then leaned forward to Violet, whispering, "This is a wedding?"
Violet rolled her eyes, the Master stifling his laughter.
"What? What'd I do?"

Myra went to the hill that Sonya had told her to go wait at and waited for Jenny to join her. 'I need to calm down.' She thought to herself as she took in deep breaths to calm herself down. She then looked out over the wedding set up at the ocean. 'It looks so pretty.' She thought as she smiled happy that she was getting married.

Jenny walked over to where Sonya told her to go she looked then she looked at Myra, "Don't be nervous..It's going to be fine.." She smiled then looked at the ocean, "Nice..." She rocked on her heels and crossed her arms she looked at Robin, "Is that the Flower girl or something..." She didn't know who half of these people were she uncrossed her arms and leaned on the tree waiting.

Robin winced - not exactly remembering how this works. Looking down at the basket in her hands, she tried her best to remember the one wedding she went to. So just wait for Myra, then start walking a few feet ahead of her. Then.... stand by the bridesmaids because I have no idea where I'm supposed to actually be. Looking up at Myra, she smiled, realizing she wasn't really the one who was nervous. Calming down a bit, she decided to focus on the happy couple more then her own stupid worries. At this point she was more concerned with messing up their wedding than looking like an idiot.

Jack took a deep breath after listening to Sonya. "alright, its going to be alright." jack thought to himself as he smiled and looked out at the sunset like sonya said to. standing there in a sliver polished and laced tux, all trimmed up and fancy looking for the day he would be married. half the people he saw in the crowd behind him, he didn't even know, but who cares he is a famous guy, and if anyone knows him or knows that he is will be willing to show some excitement and care. god knows that his own family wouldn't be here today to see him marry anyone. Not even if he married anyone they wanted him to, but that doesn't matter at all, what matters is being happy and seeing the girl he loves be happy. "god i hope she isn't nervous."

Sonya eyed the crowd for a moment, making sure no one was about to start shouting or causing problems before her eyes locked with Myra's. A smile spread across her face as she nodded at her, indicating she should start walking towards the altar now as the jazzy upbeat version of the march began to play around them. Folding her hands in front of her calmly, she took a slow breath and closed her eyes, going over all she had to say and do. Making sure she knew what she was up for, honestly, she had never gotten married, never been to a wedding or given the vows either. The only reason she offered was she had read it somewhere in a book once, the details that she recalled just recently. With a low groan to herself, she glanced around the area, hoping she had gotten everything right now, but honestly... The one thing she worried about was the vows. If she screwed up, then the marriage would be null and void, and then she couldn't face them for quite a few years. In fact, she possibly wouldn't be able to face Jack until Myra was dead and gone.

Mal cleared her throat and made her way over to the chairs with Xeltia and Violet. She eyed the bar all the way over and knew that's where she'd be headed as soon as the ceremony was done. The Master, seemingly coming from no where, took the chair she wanted so Mal ended up sitting next to Violet. The commotion they were causing was one she decided to ignore and instead she stared straight ahead, pondering why she even got an invitation in the first place. Not that she was't flattered, though.

Jack opened his mind and let all the joy come into his aura while sensing something weird. he could tell sonya was nervous about given this. he knew all too well, maybe more then anyone else in the galaxy, that sonya absolutely hated weddings. he leaned in a little bit closer with his head, still looking out in the distance where she told him to, and calmly said to the nervous time lady, "calm yourself sonya, you'll do wonderful. don't stress to much alright." he then leaned back over and straightened his pose while smiling that special Jack Harkness smile of his that no one could help but smile at.

Xeltia swung her legs, bored, while Violet crossed her arms, annoyed. The Master just stared at Xeltia, then kicked her, causing her to stop swinging her legs and pout. Violet smiled at Mal, saying, "Hello, I'm Violet."

Xeltia and the Master started bickering about nothing, occasionally kicking each other. "Stop kicking me!" The blonde man hissed, glaring. The ginger glared back, kicking him again. "Then you stop kicking me!"
Violet thwacked both of their heads, scolding them.
"Sorry." The two Timelords whispered, looking down.

Myra started to walk down the hill. As she walked down the hill she smiled to hide her nervousness. 'Oh I hope this doesn't go bad' Myra thought as she looked at two people kicking each other then get thwacked in the back of the head by another girl. She continued to walk and noticed robin as she got closer to te iasle. She was happy that Robin was there because she was a lovely young girl.

Robin smiled at Myra as she walked closer, waiting for the right moment. Timing herself to the music in her head, she stepped out onto the aisle and began to scatter the silver and purple flowers in Myra's path. Once she made it to the end, she moved over to join the bridesmaids, holding the basket in front of her with both hands. She tried to give the bride a reassuring smile, wondering why she didn't go to weddings. This was so sweet, and she felt so happy for the soon to be newlyweds.

Jenny walked down the aisle and stood at thing at the front of the aisle's thingy she smiled and looked around,"this is nice..." she whispered to herself and watched Myra come down the aisle's.
