| Siren glanced around. Her surroundings had stayed pretty much the same for the past few days. Open fields and the highway that had been her guide. She tapped a beat on her leg in time with the ticking of her clockwork. Not having any need for food or water had become a blessing, since this world seemed to be dictated by currency. The walking began once more. It took some time, but Siren travelled the next few miles to her destination. This destination was Indianapolis, not that she knew that. All that was seen was a city. It was where the Cel had resided previously, after her initial... arrival on Earth. Another hour passed. Her feet found themselves approaching an apartment complex where she maintained a base of operations. It was the only thing Siren spent money on. Another two hours. She was standing on a sidewalk, watching the primitive creatures drive by in automobiles. Another three hours. She was counting blades of grass. Another four hours. She was trying not to think about her home. Earth was no place for a Cel. It wasn't a place for any alien, really. | |

| Sonya had spent hours, watching this creature wander about in the small area, studying it's movements before she finally realized what it was. Feeling a slow, empty smile spread across her face, she melted back into the shadows of an alleyway across from where the Cel stood. Heading back to her TARDIS tucked into the very far corner of the darkened area, hiding it's white exterior from anyone that might have peered into the shadows for some reason or another. Yes, she needed to do some things before contacting the Cel. But from the looks of things, she had plenty of time to set it up. Yes... It would take a few hours, but then, then things would be fun.
Pushing the TARDIS doors open, she ignored the loud creak they sounded from the intrusion. "Stop complaining and listen. The lab needs to have power diverted to it now, the lights, machines, everything in there must be fully operational within an hour. Get to it." She snapped at the console, already sliding out of her jacket and making her way to the back hallway, she needed to gather some things. | |

| Tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock. The Siren frowned at a passing human, who was wearing particularly showy clothing. Why do they leave themselves unprotected? It's bad enough no humans seem to wear armor. She sighed at yet another problem with human society and began walking once more. This time her walking led to the apartment complex where she lived. The rooms she had were used as more of a workshop than a living space. The bathroom had been torn apart for it's pipes. Said pipes had been modified to pump several gallons of water every half-hour. This water cooled the primitive generator she had created, commonly known as an Aether Engine by Cel. It converted light into electricity, and sat under the window that received sunlight for the longest periods of time. The generator worked to charge her multitool, which was taking far longer than Siren would have preferred. It had been charging for two weeks. The Cel looked around at her workplace. The kitchen appliances had been unplugged and pushed against one wall to make space for (stolen) power tools. The kitchen counter was littered with bits and pieces of projects all devoted towards bringing her body back to full power. Light manipulation systems were still offline, energy shielding was barely functioning, teleportation systems offline... Everything was a mess. The only bright-side seemed to be that this apartment complex was owned by some species of alien Siren had never encountered. He wouldn't giver her passage off-planet without an obscene amount of money, but at least he looked the other way when she tore apart her room. | |
