The Unexpected but was it...

It was mid-noon London, England year 2015 or 2016 June, 18th. Jenny entered a Shop a Coffee shop and ordered a drink she looked around and walked to a seat sitting down she put her Coffee down and looked at the time a the clocked ticked. She leaned in her chair as she saw everyone pass out at the same exact time, "What the hell?" She got up from her seat and looked at the people, she looked back at her Coffee, then ran outside, "Everyone..." She ran back into the Coffee Shop looking at everyone confused, "Who or what did this.." She looked around, "And how come it didn't effect me..." She crossed her arms, "They can't just pass out all at the same time..." She walked out and looked at the sky she saw nothing, "Nothing no sign of anything...Well by the eye can see..." She sighed and walked back into the Coffee Shop," What ever the hell it was.. It could be powerful..."

When Medwyn materialized within a flash of light she took a quick look around.
Early 21st century - A most interesting period in which most of all earth-relevand near-catastrophes seemed to have taken place.
Medwyn actually simply wanted to get a proper recipe for coffee. Meaning - Historical coffee, for the coffee in her era tasted awful - at leasst to her...
She had aimed for that little coffee shop she knew and visited every now and then she had to do work within the time it existed.
Walking down the street she suddenly realized that the traffic was stopped, and so were the people.
Everyone appeared to be either unconscious or dead.
She knelt down besides two people lying around and checking. They were certainly alive. Luckily.
"What the..." She started, getting up again, quickly running down the street, checking how many people passed out, until she realized that everyone around here was.
Getting back to the place she appeared she became slightly nervous.
She did not remember records about an event like this, and if this was some strange sort of disease she might now have been infected herself, which meant she could not even travel away...
Releasing a silent sigh she decided to have a coffee first, for she needed to figure out what was happening here, and the best way to do so was filled up with caffeine and sugar.

Jenny looked at a person, "Could be dead..." She felt the person pulse, "Alive..." She looked around running into the back of the shop she messed with the computer trying to find something, "Nothing..." She turned off the computer then walked back into the front of the shop, "Everyone seems to be fine pulses are fine everything..." She went behide the counter and looked at the stuff there, "Nothing.." She walked over to her seat and sat down thinking, "Who could have this type of technology there not human or maybe they are I don't know..." She sighed putting her hands in her pockets, "Human or Alien there aboulstly brilliant but...Not at the same time..." She sat there thinking....

Medwyn was about to get herself a coffee - She had never been behind the bar before, but she watched the employees often enough to figure out how the coffee-machines worked.
After she got herself a big cup of coffee, she put some money next to the machine, then went back into the customer's area where she saw another person who was obviousely awake.
"What the?!" Medwyn exclaimed surprised and did some quick steps towards the young woman staring at her trying to figure out whether there was something different on her.
"...What's happening here? Hope you can tell me and ain't responsible for this, lady..."

Jenny looked at the lady standing there, "I don't know they all just passed out..." She looked at the lady, "How are you..." She stood up and looked at her for a moment, "All I could guess is that it could be aliens or something very powerful..." She crossed her arms, "How are you not passed out...There has to be a reason..." She looked around, "Doesn't seem like everyone has gotten up from this mysterious out break..." She looked at the Coffee machines, "I was wondering why that was still on.." She uncrossed her arms and put her hands in her pockets, "If only I could figure this out sooner..." She looked out the window, "Then this would be a lot easier... Well Sorta..." She sighed and looked at the lady, "Oh and I'm Jenny By the way what about you?"

"I think the reason is, that I arrived here after... Whatever in the name of all good things happened here." Medwyn answered, looking at the young woman.
"...Guess I was just lucky - I'm more or less human like the rest of these people, so I don't see, why this would not have affected me. That's at least my theory... Feel free to come up with a more suitable one"
She took a sip of her coffee, and did another step towards the young woman.
"Glad to meet you, Miss Jenny! I'm Medwyn, and I'm non-hostile."
Medwyn did a polite hailing nod, and offered some of her coffee to Jenny
"...So, the question is - What about you? Why didn't you... Well... Pass out as well? What's different about you? Alien, Android? Vegan maybe?"
She gave her a sneaky smile and (softly) poked her forehead with her index-finger.
"Well, no Android - Very glad you ain't."

"Yea..." Jenny took her hands out of her pockets and looked out the window, "More or less Human?" She looked at the lady, "Nice to meet you too Medwyn." She smiled then crossed her arms," Well I am an alien...Timelord actually or Timelady..." She looked at the window then back at Medwyn, " I think I would know if I was an Android." She joked, "It could be Androids but I don't think so..." She looked around, " Don't think they would have the power..." She uncrossed her arms and walked around the Coffee Shop looking at the people, "Why not when there actually sleeping..." She stopped, " Someone or something must of been an idot they could of done this when they all were actually sleeping in their beds at home...Well not everyone would be asleep..." She looked at Medwyn, "Maybe there waiting...For something..." She looked at the people passed out, "Cause they could just actually simply use Teleportaion..."

"You're indicating that something wants to have these people out of their way, right?
Seems plausible, since no one got hurt at all.
Maybe we should check for something unusual happening right now..."
She looked out of the window herself - Almost in anticipation to see something like a chunky alien mothership hovering over the city, but yet... Nothing like that at all.
When she returned her gaze to Jenny, Medwyn put her hands into her pockets for some seconds and simply looked at her.
Of course... it hat to be.
There was no doubt about it... Yet another Time Lord.
Medwyn was haunted by Time Lords.
What in the name of all good things was wrong with her that wherever she appeared she determinedly found the Time Lords?...

Rising an eyebrow Medwyn leaned against one of the tables and wanted to ask something related to her inner confusion about this to jenny, until suddenly a more important idea crossed her mind.
She quickly turned around and knelt down besides a sleeping woman.
"What if something actually needs this people to be asleep? I once read about several creatures able to use human brain capacity for their own purposes, but only as long as they were unconscious."
Very well, she did not think about bringing along her scanner - She did not expect something like this to happen in a place and era she knew so well. Stupid me! She thought by herself, and opened the sleeping woman's eye, staring into it for some seconds until she looked back at Jenny again.
"I guess you have nothing to detect brainwave activity, right? No one does when he's visiting a coffee shop.
I need to do so the next times I come here..."

"Maybe..."Jenny looked at Medwyn, "Maybe..They do need them asleep....Or something..." She put one of her hands into her pockets looking for something," No...Blast...These pockets don't have anything to detect brainwave activity..." She crossed her arms, "Unless your a mad man in a box..." She walked out the door she looked up in the sky, "Doesn't make sense.." She looked at the people laying around on the sidewalks in there cars on a bus even, "Everyone..." She sighed and looked up in the sky," Theres something..." She uncrossed her arms and looked at the people," This just doesn't make sense..."

"Yes of course it does not make sense, but what aspect of not making any sense at all are you relying on in particular?" Medwyn asked, jumping back on her feet again, and quickly following Jenny.
"...And no, I happen to be a mad woman without a box, and I haven't even the slightest idea what this means - Is this some special 21st century slang?"
Looking in the sky as well Medwyn shrugged.
"Yep, unexpectedly no chunky alien mothership.." She sighted, scratched her neck, than gave Jenny a grinning look.
"What do you think - Is this some local phenomenon, or does this affect the entire planet?
...Maybe we should check that, for it might lead us to the source."

Jenny looked around, " There's just always something Daleks no don't have the right minds for it..." She laughed a bit then looked at Medwyn, " I'm just talking about a mad man iin a blue box well a police public call box..." She looked at the sky, "Yep no motherships in sight..." She looked at the people again, "I wouldn't like to see if any of them crashed into anything in ther cars that would be horrible..." She muttered to herself, " You got a point we should check hmmm but what maybe a radio... News not gonna get a lot out of that radio it is then..." She looked around, "Hopefuly it can find something to answer this..."
