Dr.Harry Turner vs Sonya round 1 ding!!!

Harry is sitting in his lair reading a book and listening to Fur Elise by Ludwig van Beethoven. As he does he chuckles then looks at the newspaper with a picture of Jack Harkness on it. Harry glares and growls at it then takes it and lighting it on fire with a match. "Filthy snake!" With that said he goes back to reading but notices something on his radar showing something or someone coming his way. The signal is a rhythm of four and he smirks at it "Timelord..." he whispers.

Sonya glanced around the area, a slight frown on her face as she adjusted the black scarf around her neck in idle thought. "Where the bloody hell is this place anyway? I only heard a few people talking about it, I really ought to listen more often." She mumbled with a low sigh, her feet stopping their wandering as she plopped onto the edge of the sidewalk, watching cars and people pass by in their daily lives. "Really, I need to get a life of my own. I look like a bum." Glancing up at the sky, she leaned back on her hands, letting out a low breath of exasperation before getting back up and continuing on her way. She'd find that damn book store if it killed her, not that it would, but still, it was the thought that counted.

"And I need to get a book on how to use common phrases." She added as an afterthought, a hand reaching up to fiddle with the small, round pendant dangling from her neck, vaguely registering the slight tingle on the tips of her fingers before glancing around the area again. "And a bloody map too!"

Harry heard someone yelling from above and he grumbled "Damn kids!" He runs over up the way from his lair. He runs and runs but stops because he is short of breath from the long run. "Why did I build this damn trail so long!" Finally he opens the secret doorway to his lair and shouts out "Hey you damn kids shut the F...". Before he had time to even say the F word he notices a familiar woman he had seen before he escaped from the Insane Asylum. He quickly runs back in shutting the door whispering "Damn it".

Sonya blinks at the door as it opened then slammed shut before she could even make out the person behind it. "Oh! Hey, you, can you help me out here?" She said quickly, walking over and knocking on the door lightly, a curious look on her face as she tilted her head to the side, trying to decide on if she should wait or not. With a slightly irritated huff, she knocked a little louder. "Oi, I saw you, no pretending you aren't home now, and i Heard you speak English too, so you can't pretend you don't understand me either." She added, arms folding over her chest as she shifted from foot to foot.

A slight tremor shook her form suddenly, making her blue eyes snap shut suddenly then slowly open to reveal red ones in their place. "Are you listening to me? I said open the damn door." Sonya said coolly, her normally light and curious voice coming out as old and emotionless, the spark in her eyes dying out to a dull shine of someone bored with everything around them. "Come on, don't play coy with me, it doesn't work."

Harry opens the door slowly and pokes his head out "Who might you be?" He looks at her from head to toe and blinks. "I think I have seen you before..." he says. He tilts his head and smirks "Ah yes you were one of the people that was at the hellhole that they locked me up in. "But you witnessed my great escape" he says. "But...unfortunately...No one sees the wizard! He slams the door shut.

"Why would I be interested in a wizard?" Sonya muttered, a touch of irritation coloring her tone as she reached forward and opened a small portal against the door to step through and stand beside him, her crimson eyes studying the man up and down for a moment before turning to look around the area. "Besides, I wanted to stop walking anyway. Perfect place to relax actually. Stop being rude and get me something to drink, would you?" With that said, she walked away from him, already poking around and snooping as her curious nature made her do.

Looking over her shoulder at him, Sonya raised an eyebrow. "Well? Get moving, something cold would be nice. A pop, tea, something that would soothe the throat. Been yelling like an idiot for the past couple hours. Don't know directions too well lately, a little mixed up in the head you see." Reaching up, she tapped herself on the forehead only to make her eyes blink and shift back to their normal blue. "Oh, well then... Anyway! Something to drink? Do you have something? I could get it actually, I'm kinda full of energy at the moment..."

He stood frozen and blinked "Ummm...Ok then" he says. He walks with her up the very very very long path to his lair. "I should of considered building a shorter path then this...why did i build it this long?"He shrugged and kept walking before finally reaching his lair walking to the refrigerator " Does a Root beer sound good?"

"Root beer sounds fantastic actually." Sonya grinned in his direction before returning to her wandering, eyes sparkling with curiosity as she studied the area. "You know, it would make it shorter if you added a side-path only you could get through that intersected the main path others would take. Go straight up to the door rather than making it so winding. Use the main path as a set-up for traps." Straightening up, she stared at the wall in front of her for a moment before turning to look at him over her shoulder, a cruel smile curling her lips upwards. "Oh you know, the normal ones, fires, spikes, poison darts... Pits that they'd end up being crushed in once they landed." Waving a hand in the air, she started walking again, passing by Harry in her investigation, carefully avoiding any contact with him as she did.

"Why do you need this place anyway? Even if you are on the run, as I'm guessing, its for a good reason. Use that reason to your advantage to keep them away from you." Finally stopping, she turned to face him again, shoulders leaning against the wall behind her as her hands slipped into the pockets of her jeans. "I mean, I've a bounty on my own head, in most of space really, doesn't stop me. Wave a gun or knife around and they keep their distance."

He gets a root beer and hands it to her and shrugs. "I thought you were some stupid kid meddling around here" he says. He sits down rubbing his face softly with his hands after the long walk on the walk way. Then he looks up "Your on the run too huh?" "Small world...I am on the run for escaping the lunatic asylum but they tortured me so I thought to hell with it Im outta here".

"Understandable. Last person that tortured me ended up with a soldering Iron sticking from their eye." Sonya commented idly, not really caring what his reaction might be. One of her few secrets kept from everyone she knew in the past and present besides this one person. Looking down at the can in her hands, she tilted her head, eyes shifting from red to blue once again as she studied the fizz near the top. "Carbination makes people burp you know. Kinds find it amusing on plenty of occasions, did you know if you burp in the presence of the Queen on Ta'rid you're to be immediately executed? Apparently it's one of the worst insults you could give anyone there."

Looking over at Harry, she laughed lightly, a hand reaching up to rub at her hair idly as she did. "I didn't know until I had a sword swinging towards my head. Good thing I have fast reflexes or I might not be standing here telling you about it." Leaning forward, she lifted the can to her lips and took a drink with a slight sigh of appreciation. "Not to mention the Doctor's face, comical! He had no idea either and now he had to do what he could to swallow any burps that might have came up. We drank a couple of pops before showing up there, so you know... His face was so red from the effort!" Giggling softly, Sonya shook her head at the memory and lifted the can to her lips again before looking over at him with a small frown, her eyes shifting colors once more as she studied him.

"Why were you in there in the first place anyway?"

He looks at her blinking slowly then moving his neck to side to side cracking it. "Well I used to work for Torchwood". He really did not like talking about this subject much but he just decided to consider it."I was trying to create something my father could not". "And that was...creating Daleks with the mind of a human being". He grumbles "I would of done it if that thieving buildrat Jack Harkness didn't tattle on me like a four year old and had me committed".

"Hmm... Interesting concept. Though a bit flawed. The Dalek DNA inside of their little tanks wouldn't accept the Human DNA, would end up fighting with each other, the human's DNA is weak you know..." Sonya murmured thoughtfully, setting the can aside and slowly advancing on him with a sudden gleam in her eyes. "Though, another type might work, there are others that would be perfect. Sontarans, Judoon, Weeping Angels even. That would be an interesting combination. Especially the Judoon. Listen to all of your orders, completely untouchable. The perfect killing machine..." Trailing off, she glanced off to the side in thought, her red eyes narrowing slightly as she pondered over whatever happened to cross her mind.

"Time Lord might work better, though I wouldn't suggest setting your eyes on me. I'd kill you before I let a human touch me." She finally said, turning her attention back to him, a cold smile crossing her face as her eyes flicked down to the pulse beating in his neck. "A single flick of my finger could send you into spasms then straight into death."

Harry smirked and chuckled slightly as she touched him "Yes I can see that". He crossed his arms slowly and then raised an eyebrow "But...If you killed me you would have to deal with my love...her name is Ivy" he says. "She is rather...special and even myself would not deal with her" he says. He smiled "But no matter I have no attention of harming you" he says. He shrugged "Any way what do you need?" "Place to stay, food, bathroom, anything at all?"

He tilted his head to the side slowly "If you need a place to stay there is a gues bedroom". "But stay out of my room with my double bed only Ivy sleeps with me" he says. He shows her the gues bedroom "Besides you have a double bed to your own and a tv" he says. He looks at her and smirks "What is your name may I ask"? "If your going to stay I must know your name".

"Nothing in particular. Right now I'm collecting things, specific things really... Interesting people." Turning away, she wandered around the room before coming to a stop at the wall she had been at before. "People with clever minds and enough imagination to create things that are needed." Turning her head from side to side, a scowl crossed her face, a mental battle taking place before she cast another cold smile at him. "And your love? A plant is hardly fearful, I happen to be stronger than an average Time Lord, dear. In fact, I would go as far as to say I'm more than one, better in every way."

Her eyes shut and Sonya let out a low sigh and leaned back against the wall again, her hands coming up to rub at her temples before her blue eyes flashed again, a pained expression crossing her face. "Listen, I'm not really myself right now. Anything I say, don't really pay attention to it, yeah? I'm having some issues and I don't really want to drag anyone-" Her voice cut off, eyes flashing red as another angry frown appeared. "Dragging people into my troubles, hardly, but dragging you into my plans and games would be more fun."

Harry stared at her for about ten seconds and shrugged. "I am not what you would call the sanest person either" he says. He turns around lifting up his shirt to reveal his badly scarred back "My father was a mad scientist as well" he says. "He did experiments on me but then something went wrong and he lit my back on fire". He put his shirt down and looked at her "You have nothing to worry about actually".

He looked at her and then pointed to the guest bedroom "You look like you need some rest" he says. "You have been travelling alot and running like I have before I found this place" he says. "So please make yourself comfortable". He walked off to the bathroom but stops in his tracks and says."But remember...No patty fingers" he says before walking into the bathroom closing the door.

"You aren't the only one that was experimented on you know." Sonya called out before turning and wandering into the bedroom to fall back onto the bed, eyes staring blankly up at the ceiling above her. "I have stories that could give a Dalek nightmares." With that, she sighed slightly then turned onto her side and closed her eyes, trying to force her body to relax and fall asleep for several minutes but gave up quickly. In truth, she hardly ever needed to sleep. A few hours a week worked for her.

Sitting in the middle of the bed, she folded her legs in front of her and simply stared out at the empty space in front of her, idly wandering through her thoughts as she did, looking at memories, checking ideas she had stored away and running over any information she collected through her many years. It was the only thing that kept her from going completely mad most of the time, she hated sitting around doing nothing, no matter what state of mind she was in.

Harry walked out of the bathroom and peeked in the room slowly to see her staring at the wall. He frowned and could not help but feel sorry for her they were alike in many ways. He walked to the kitchen and got himself a root beer sipping it softly he sat in the living room thinking. He could not help but think how she said he wasn't the only one who was experimented on. He sips his root beer again and then got up and walked into her room slowly.

"Hello...you ok?" He walked in and sat down in a chair next to the bed. "I thought about what you said when you said I wasn't the only one experimented on". He looked away and then back at her."That is why I think Torchwood is a pathetic excuse" he says.

Jumping slightly, Sonya whirled around to stare at Harry, her eyes wild before settling back down and resuming her usual expressionless face once more. "Torchwood never laid a finger on me. It was my own parents." She finally said, eyes narrowing slightly as she watched him from where she sat on the bed, legs still folded in front of her as she leaned forward on her elbows. "They tried to make the perfect killing machine. Ended up splitting my consciousness into two separate forms. One was an older version of myself, the other, left in a parallel universe to rot. Didn't work out too well, I came back anyway, re-bonded with myself and found things out about what happened to me that were probably better left locked away."

Blinking her blue eyes at him, Sonya let out a soft sigh before falling back onto the bed and staring up at the ceiling. One half of me was a killer during the war you know, I destroyed everyone in my path, Time Lords, Daleks, any species I came across was left slaughtered in my dust. I can still see some of it if I think about it hard enough, so I try not to on most occasions." Propping herself up with her arms, she looked over at Harry again. "Why were you experimented on?"

He looked at her and let out a sigh. "My father was a very sick man...he just enjoyed experimenting on babies and burning them watching them suffer" he says. "He killed himself though due to his stupidity and wrecklessness with chemicals". "So I grew up and was raised by Torchwood and became a scientist a very intelligent one". "I wanted to do what my father could not do...and they sabotaged it for me".

He sighs looking at his feet "I never talked about that ever" he says. He gets up slowly and walks out but sadly bumps his head on the doorway "Damn it!" He walks out ducking this time and sitting on the couch. He lies down on the couch looking at the ceiling. He blinked and sighed softly.

"Hmm. Curious past, though I wouldn't say horrible." Sonya muttered from where she reclined on the bed, eyes fixated on the door as she frowned in thought. "If anything, burning alive would be preferable to the pain I went through. Do you know that Time Lords have things that you humans would never dream of? They set out trying to split me in two, ended up succeeding, abandoned one half of me on Earth in this universe, kept the other and continued testing her, injecting me with all sorts of drugs and computers... Every day that passed I wanted to tear my hair out." She stopped long enough to let out an empty laugh, her head tilting back again as she closed her eyes, vividly remembering the day it happened. "I killed my mother first, tore her head from her body, then my father... He was left without a soul. I broke him completely, and I didn't even feel a thing."

Slipping from the bed, Sonya walked over to the doorway and leaned a shoulder against it, arms across her chest as she stared at Harry's form on the couch with a wry smile curling her lips upward once more. "Afterwards, I never felt better. I let my brother deal with the repercussions of what happened. He ended up loosing his mind. Rassilon lost his greatest weapon after I escaped. I say escaped, but in truth I hid myself so deep, I couldn't even remember where I hid until recently. He sent me away to another universe, Earth again, but so far apart from my other half that I had no hope. He even went so far as to implant false memories to make me think I had been there all my life."

Turning her head away, she stared out across the room blankly, recalling the memory of his face as he drug her away from her hiding place in the forests of Gallifrey. Silver leaves still shining in her hair as he pulled her into the sunlight and towards the dome-covered city. "He knew I was dangerous. One half of me, the original half in this universe, healed others with my regeneration energy. While the other half, this body, used my energy to make doorways to other places using actual doors. I could travel thousands of miles with a single step. Though now of course, I don't need a door, I could just snap my fingers, step through and end up anywhere I want without a single waste of energy." Reaching up, Sonya brushed her hand over the top of her head, silently contemplating something before looking back over at him. "I've been killed, melted, attacked, changed, forced to kill in both forms, forgotten myself, and now... I'm almost complete once more. I thought I was before, but no... There's something missing, something doesn't add up, Harry. And I need to find out what it is."

He grows absolutely speechless at her story but then says. "You've been through alot..." he says."When I was at the Asylum they treated me like I was some freak...they tortured me...electrocuted me all the time". "They often starved me to death" he says. "I just decided to abandon that place and so I did".

"So I thought of this one thing in my mind...and that was... Never again". He rubs his face softly then looks at her. "I often have night terrors over it". "I don't leave this place often unless I really need to". Finally he stares at her and thinks then says "That thing you mentioned...regeneration how does that work...it must be cool to have more then one life".

"Hm, not really. You change completely when you regenerate, the person you are, underneath, your thoughts and memories are there. All of your connections with people are the same, but your attitude changes completely." Sonya said with a bored tone of voice, lifting one of her hands to examine the nails idly while she spoke. "Not to mention the entire problem with not knowing what you'll end up with. I constantly worry I'll end up a man one day. Not that I haven't been curious, mind, but still, it would be rather awkward. I'd prolly end up forcing regeneration if I did."

Glancing over at him with a tilt of her head, Sonya flashed him one of her smiles that didn't touch her eyes. "And what I've been though? I don't have nightmares, rather, I remember things I didn't before and just file it away for use later. Of course, in another state of mind, I would be frightened, then again, I don't need to sleep much either." Closing her eyes again, she rubbed at her forehead before jolting forward with a soft gasp, her blue eyes sparkling with anger. "Anyway, I ought to be going now. I'll see myself out, I really don't think anyone could help me at this point."

He quickly looks at her. "No...why don't you stay I don't really have anyone else here". What Harry said was indeed true he never has anyone here ever barely. He sits up looking at the ground slowly."Mostly no one is ever even here besides me...Ivy comes and goes but still".

He looked up at her. "Besides...from what I hear you do not really have anywhere to go so you might as well stay". "Every now and then at night I will go outside...but that is hardly it". He stands"But please stay it would be my pleasure if you did". He smiles to her.

"It would be a pleasure to have a Time Lady with mental instability spending time with you? For all I know I'll end up killing you because of something you said. I snap so easily right now, there's really no telling when I switch either." Sonya muttered in frustration, a fist crashing into the wall next to her in an outburst of anger. "I mean, really, I haven't done anything! Yet things like this happen to me all the time. The other me, the one from this universe? Melted down with acid. The only reason she's still in here is because her consciousness was still barely there when the universe brought me through here in order to keep the balance. Apparently I'm too damn important to die."

Fuming quietly, she began pacing back and forth, hands clasped behind her back and blue eyes narrowed at the ground as she walked along it furiously. "Anything I do, no matter what it is, always ends up coming back to bite me, ruin my life some more and make me go crazy. I've been through so much right now, I don't even think I could function properly unless my life or mental state was in danger. If everything was fine, I'd prolly go crazy from that too." Suddenly turning on her heel, she stomped over to stand in front of Harry, a hand reaching out to hover over his neck again, her icy eyes locked onto his furiously. "Tell me something, Harry. What would you do right now, if I were to tell you that no matter what you did, I could end your life with the snap of a finger, a single breath and tendril of energy? What could you do? Your girlfriend would show up eventually, but not soon enough. Your life could end so easily and pointlessly it's funny. But here I am, just standing here, why? I don't even know anymore. I don't know why it was so important to be in here to talk to you. I don't even understand why I told you all of that about myself."

Gritting her teeth, she crouched down, her arms dropping down to rest against her knees as she steadied herself. "You humans have such easy lives. You live, you eat, you work, you die. Nothing more, nothing less. While I, I live on, every damn life I have being a complete horror story. One after another, why? Because I can't die, I haven't been able to for hundreds of years, if not a thousand. I don't even know how old I am anymore. Isn't that sad? Isn't it funny to you that there's an all-mighty Time Lady sitting right in front of you, complaining about her life being so long and full of adventure?"

Harry blinked not knowing what to say. He was frozen in shock at what she just said. But finally as she asked that question he spoke. "I feel your pain" he says. "Never...in my life have I ever encountered someone who has dealt with pain like I have".

Harry didn't know if this was just a coincidence or fate. He never knew that she would show up and this would happen. He never really studied timelords until now. He knew she was someone not to anger or get on her bad side. So he nodded to her and walked to the kitchen to make himself a cup of tea but still was thinking.
