| Alarm bells were going crazy, red lights flashing everywhere as the ISS Destiny was again battered mercilessly by the high powered laser cannon that the Strabotune ship was firing at them. The ship was jarred so heavily that Flight Officer Charity was thrown out of her chair and into the floor, while the rest of the crew were also thrown around a bit, crashing into things. Some where injured, but Charity couldn’t tell how badly anyone was hurt. At the moment, she could only tell that she wasn't injured save for a few scrapes and bruises, and that wasn't enough to keep her down. She hauled herself back upright, and reached for the grip of the rapid-fire fusion blaster that she'd been assigned to. She gritted her teeth as she prepared herself to return fire on the enemy ship, but before she could squeeze the trigger, another blast from the Strabotune's lasers slammed into the ISS Destiny, and this time Charity found herself sliding across the floor, to the other side of the control room, as the ship tilted sharply to one side. She winced as she slammed into the far wall, and then looked over to the captain's chair, expecting to see Captain Calvin Clearwater working frantically at the controls to right the ship. But to her shock, instead she saw the ship's captain slumped motionless over the controls, bleeding from a nasty head wound. Through the viewscreen of the ship, she saw a cluster of asteroids approaching. They were heading straight for a larger chunk of rock, which would likely damage the ship beyond hope of survival. "Someone take the controls!" She yelled, trying not to panic. If the captain was dead or unconscious, someone needed to take over the controls and steer the ship away from danger, or they would all die. She almost couldn't believe how quickly all of this chaos had come upon them. One moment they were flying peacefully through space, escorting a merchant ship from Luvecem, to take a supply of food to the colony planet Aquoshillon. Then, out of nowhere, the Strabotunes had attacked. Now, under heavy attack from the hostile aliens, the crew of the Imperial Spaceship Destiny were fighting desperately for their lives. Realizing that no one had responded to her yell, Charity glanced around and saw several of the crew members dead or unconscious on the floor, while others were frantically shooting back at the Strabotune ship, too busy to pay any attention to her, the newest and lowest ranking member of the crew. But even if they managed to shoot down the enemy ship, it would be all in vain if the Destiny crashed right into that big asteroid! She realized what she had to do, so she wasted no time. Struggling to stay upright and not be knocked to the floor again, the young woman ran to the controls and dragged the motionless form of her captain back from the controls, letting him slump back into his seat. She then stared at the various knobs and buttons for a moment before grabbing what looked like a joystick, and hoped that it was the right thing to guide the ship with. She realized that the unconscious captain had been lying on it, pushing it forward and to one side, which is why their ship was tilted so sharply to the side. Doing the best she could, she adjusted the tilt of the ship and then turned them away from the approaching asteroid, straining to make the large Imperial Spaceship change direction. It looked like she wasn't going to be able to make it turn enough to miss the asteroid, but then she braced herself against the control panel and pulled at the joystick with all her might, and made it turn enough that they just barely missed the asteroid. Once the ship was clear of the largest asteroid, she worked hard at navigating them through the asteroid belt without hitting anything. She wasn't completely successful, as their ship hit a few smaller rocks, but it wasn't as bad as the Strabotune lasers that were slamming into the Destiny's outer shell. She couldn't see the outside of the ship, but she could tell it was badly damaged. Alarms kept flashing, letting her know that stuff was damaged, but since she wasn't trained for the controls, she didn't know what most of those lights meant. However, she did know that the captain never had this much difficulty with navigating the ship, so that told her that one of those alarms must mean that the controls were damaged and that was why she was having trouble getting the ship to move properly. But all she knew to do was to keep using the joystick control thingy to try and avoid the chunks of rock that kept getting in the way. What she was doing was about the equivalent of trying to steer a power-steering car without any power steering fluid, and if she'd known anything about the various alarms that showed what was damaged, she could have seen that there was damage done to the lines that connected the stick to the part that moved the ship. About the same as trying to steer a nautical ship with the rudder broken half off. Once they were clear of the asteroid belt, Charity looked back to see how things were going. Over half of the crew appeared to be either dead or unconscious, and those who were left were fighting desperately, but the Strabotunes had apparently just made a new and improved ship and the Destiny's weaponry was almost useless against it. They were going to need some backup, or she was sure the Strabotunes were going to destroy them. She searched the control console for a moment, then grabbed the communicator transmitter. "Mayday, mayday! This is the ISS Destiny, we're under heavy attack from a Strabotune Battleship, please, can anyone help us!" She hoped there might be someone out there who would hear and respond to the plea for help. She waited a moment, then repeated her message. "Please, someone help us! This is the ISS Destiny, we are under attack from a Strab--" the rest of her message was cut off as the Strabotune ship suddenly rammed hard into the Imperial ship. The impact sent Charity flying across the room with a gasp, and the transmitter hung bouncing from the end of the spirally cord that attached it to the console. Everything that wasn't bolted down to the floor or attached to something went flying as the Destiny hurtled through space, spinning, flipping, and rolling uncontrollably with the Strabotune ship pursuing close behind. Charity tried to grab onto something but ended up being slammed into what seemed like every part of the room, along with everyone else in the ship, both dead and alive, who weren't strapped down to their seats. As Charity was thrown about the room, she hit her head on something and was rendered unconscious, bleeding from a gash on the side of her forehead. ___________________________________________________________________________ The ISS Destiny, unmanned and basically damaged beyond repair, spun wildly through space, still pursued by the stubborn Strabotune ship, until it finally entered the atmosphere of a nearby planet, and once the gravity of the planet took hold of it, the ship fell rapidly until it crashed into the ground, leaving a small crater where it landed. The Strabotune battle ship followed after the wrecked ship, and hovered over the crash site for a moment before descending to the ground slowly, landing next to the Destiny. Strabotune warriors soon forced their way into the Imperial ship, looking for any survivors to take as prisoners. ((OOC: Note, for anyone who joins. I intentionally left it vague on which planet they crashed on, so that it could be earth, or it could be some other planet, whichever makes it easier for people to join. If you approach the crash site, you will find the wrecked ship, along with the Strabotune ship landed nearby, herding any survivors into their ship, and carrying the dead into their ship. For more info on the Strabotunes, check here: https://docwhorp.forumotion.org/t1645-strabotunes#19375There will be no sign of Charity, either among those being taken into the Strab ship, or in the wreckage of the ship. any other questions, just pm me! )) | |

| The sound of waves crashing against the outline of the beach roared across the surrounding area, the glimmering coral reefs beneath the water shinning like the sun above. A nearby speaker system blared Bob Marley's "Don't worry", much to the delight of its listener who was dozing off in a lawn chair. The Doctor. His sun glasses hung from his face while a smirk peacefully clung to his face as his nerves began to unravel and thoughts began to dissipate. Lifting his eye lids, The Doctor gazed out into the sky, his eyes dancing across the various clouds that passed by. Releasing a sigh he closed his eyes once more and nearly fell asleep; that's when the nightmares happened.
There was nothing, just deep space in front of The Doctor, his TARDIS releasing its familiar hum as The Doctor looked out. "That's impossible" He said, "It...it has to be here!". With a swift turn on his heel, The Doctor shot up to the control console with profound rage, "I've done everything! Mapped out the entire bilateral plain! It's has to be here!!" He exclaimed, slamming his fists onto the control console. The Doctor worked for years to find Gallifrey but every time he thought he found a sign, it turned out to be yet another dead end. To him it felt as if the doors of his home were right in front of him, but he could not open them. "What do i need to do?!" He asked out loud, falling back into his chair and running his hand through his hair. Suddenly a noise began to penetrate the walls of the TARDIS, the sound of a bomb falling. The Doctor shot up, looking around frantically for the source until a loud BANG knocked the Doctor onto his back and out of his dream...
The Doctor jumped from his lawn chair, his converse hitting the white sand with a thud as he peered over the area around him until his eyes landed on a nearby cloud of smoke. Dashing up the beach and up the nearby hill, The Doctor looked over the wreckage, first gazing at the dead and alive crew being escorted and tossed into a ship, then to the beings escorting those crew members. "Oh..that's new" The Doctor mumbled, "I've never seen one of you before", The Doctor listened to two warriors speak to one another with grunts and growls. Waiting for the right moment, The Doctor bolted over to a couple of trees to get a closer look. Quickly leaning against one, he popped his head around the hull of the tree, "Why Ghlata Flo Kor...more importantly..why are they taking those people in?" he asked himself, holding his tongue to the roof of his mouth. Flipping his sonic screwdriver out, The Doctor pointed it at the ship and began to take scans in hopes of getting a read out of why it crashed.

| (Just gonna jump in here) The LTTS landed on the sandy beach, disguised as a small closed surf shack, the door behind opened, Zarack took a big sniff and sighed contently, "Vacation time!" she called, stepping out, she wore a pink 1-piece with brown highlights, and wearing a brown swimming cap, and wearing sharkhead goggles (Sharkhead as in it has a sharks' dorsel fin on it) and pink sandals, a thin layer of sunscreen showing on her nose, with surfboard and bag in hand, she stepped out of the LTTS, locking the door before stepping out to enjoy the sunshine, she put her surfboard and bag down and streched, and when she opened her eyes, she saw a ship of sorts heading towards the surface, she quickly opened the bag and put on a shirt she stored inside, grabbed the key also in the bag, took off her goggles and tossed her stuff inside the LTTS, locked the door, stuffed the key in her swim cap and ran where the ship was heading, when she got there, four-armed, anthropomorphic crocodiles were hauling the dead and alive from the crash site into their own ship, she calmly walked over, "Excuse me, what is going on here?" she said, slightly yelling, she didn't wanna jump to conclusions, but she swore she might hurt somebody if their imprisoning survivors, she was gonna KILL somebody if they were the reason they crashed, but she expected they may not tell the truth

| Flannagan Ryder had wanted a vacation, but of course, him being him, he was not allowed one by some omnipresent force up above. The blond haired male had been on a sandy beach, trying to relax with a newspaper in hand and his trusty weapons holstered underneath his trenchcoat. Many would have said it was far too hot for a coat but Al did not have to listen to what others had to say about fashion, everyone had their own opinion.
But, his so-called 'vacation' was ruined when a ship had decided to crash land. Flannagan tried hard not to roll his eyes but it happened anyway. He rose from his seated position, throwing down the newspaper and jogged towards the wreckage, his shoes digging in deep as he ran in the sand toward where it seemed a few other figures had the ship surrounded.
A small heartless chuckle found itself escaping his lips as he glanced at the more 'foreign' creatures, more like two-legged crocodiles. Flannagan couldn't help but stick himself in trouble, so he walked closer, towards a woman who seemed rather irritated by what was happening.
"I don't think that would help ye, love." He said, shooting the two creatures a glancing look. "Ye know, they don't look friendly. Jus' a 'elpful tip."
It would have been so easy to pull out both pistols and gun the creatures down, but he did not want to cause reason to aggravate, as he did not know what he was up against. The creatures looked over at him and the woman, staring at Flannagan before jerking him along with the rest of the crew. That wasn't what he wanted to do, rather wanting a better look at the crash site but at the same time, it was trouble.
That should have been his middle name.
Flannagan followed the other members of the crew, dead or alive, scratching his head before placing his hands in his pockets of his trenchcoat. "Let's go on a lil' adventure, it'll be fun I said. Heh. You comin', lass?" He said, looking at the woman.

| The Strabotunian warriors began herding their prisoners into their ship. They carried all of the dead out of the ship as well, and were in the process of directing the live prisoners into the ship when two people suddenly sprang out of nowhere. Immediately the two were surrounded by the Strabotune's weapons which were pointed at them. A Strab in charge spoke with authority, ordering them to get in line and join the other prisoners, but of course this was said in the Strabotune language, so it was highly unlikely that the two would know what was said. However, with the gestures the warrior was making with his large gun, it was probably not hard to figure out what he meant. Meanwhile, inside the ISS Destiny, there was still one person that had been overlooked when the Strabotunes had searched the ship for prisoners. Charity had been thrown over against the wall when the ship landed, and the impact had caused anything that wasn't bolted down to slid over and land on top of her, therefore covering her and hiding her from sight. While the Strabotunes were dealing with the two people who had jumped out and confronted them, Charity was just starting to wake up, slowly. The Doctor's sonic screwdriver scan would probably show that there was still someone alive in there, along with showing him the damage that the ship had taken from the Strabotunian's weapons and from the battering it had taken during the battle. ((ooc: I'm so so sorry it took me so long to reply. Naturally, after waiting so long for someone to join, the same day that someone did, my computer messed up. Finally got it fixed though, so hopefully we can get this RP going! )) | |

| The Doctors eyes widened with intrigue as the data came pouring back from the screwdrivers readout; emitting a beeping noise upon discovering life signs towards the left hand side of the debris. Suddenly a pair of voices burst into the scene in front of him, first a woman who was preceded by a man wearing a trench coat. "No no no, what are you doing?" The Doctor mumbled under his breath, arching his eyebrow as he watched patiently for the outcome. With sonic screwdriver held firmly in his right hand, The Doctor readied himself for a harmful encounter in case the two found themselves at the end of a sword or any other weapon.
Thankfully the creatures just shoved the two into the formation of the other surviving crewmen and women, giving The Doctor ample time to inch his way over to a nearby piece of debris. The Doctor bolted down past the trees to a sheet of thick metal laying on the ground nearby. Tucking his sonic screwdriver away, The Doctor propped it up as a way to cover him from getting caught by the creatures. Silence... The Doctor peered over the top of the sheet of metal; once he was sure he could move without being detected he shifted closer to the main crash site where his sonic picked up the life sign.
Suddenly one of the guards turned, his reptilian eyes baring down on the metal covering The Doctor and with a sniff he, thankfully, looked away. Slowly, The Doctor scooted to his right until he was under the cover of the crashed ships hull where he acquired more ground to hide. Although he could not see how close he was to the nearby enemy ship, The Doctor knew it wasn't far as the sound of boots hitting the metal ramp of the ship echoed to his ears. Silently, The Doctor did a mental count of how many pairs of boots he heard, 1....2...3....4.....so, guessing the two passerby's haven't made it to the ship yet..i'd say at least three or four. Well...i'm guessing it won't be that for much longer, i need to board that ship. Flipping out his screwdriver, he adjusted the volume level to its near lowest setting, just enough for someone to hear and hopefully not enough to catch the attention of the guards, "Come on...i know you're here somewhere" he whispered.

| Charity's head was pounding, throbbing with pain as she slowly returned to the land of consciousness. At first, she wasn't aware of anything except the headache. Then she slowly opened her eyes, to find that the world was blurred and unfocused. She wasn't sure where she was, and blinked a couple of times to try and clear her vision. As the blurring faded away and she was able to see what she was looking at, she was confused and disoriented. Nothing looked familiar, at first. Why was that chair so close to her face? After staring at it for a moment, as the throbbing continued in her head, she turned her head and noticed a lot of things that seemed to be in a pile on top of her. She pushed at the chair and the pile shifted a bit. There was enough noise that someone just outside of the ship could probably hear things shifting as she tried to move, but to her it was like she was trying to listen to something underwater. She found it hard to hear anything through the ringing in her ears, and then there was a buzzing noise added to that.
She lay still for a minute as she tried to figure out what was happening, and the ringing in her ears slowly faded.. but the buzzing didn't stop. After a moment, she realized that the buzzing was outside somewhere, not in her ears. She tried to think of what that could be, but nothing came to her. However, as she was trying to figure that out, she began to remember what happened. It all came back to her, and she suddenly felt panicked as she started looking around, and didn't see any of the crew members left. Where were they all? There was only one possible answer.. the Strabotunians had them. She tried again to push the chair off of her, desperate to do something to help them. She didn't know what she could do, but she had to do something. She was able to crawl halfway out from the pile of debris before it shifted again, due to the extra space without her under there, and her legs were pinned.
She tried in vain to tug her legs free, then stopped and tried to think of something that she could do to get free, pressing her hand to the side of her forehead where the throbbing seemed worst. What was that buzzing noise, anyway? She winced and wished it would stop. And why did her head feel sticky? She pulled her hand away and was worried to see that it was now covered in blood. She quickly put her hand back and pressed it to the wound, realizing that her head was bleeding. She wasn't sure how bad it was, but hoped it wasn't too serious. She didn't have anything within her reach that she could bandage it with. Trying her best to remain calm and not panic, she started to call out for help, before remembering that there were likely Strabotunians nearby. She couldn't be of any help to her friends if she got captured too.. so what could she do?

| The Doctors eyes winced as the heat from the nearby burning debris found its way to him as he slowly made his way, as stealthily as he could, up to the ship. Running his eyes across the hull of the ship, The Doctor looked for an opening that he could get into the vessel without detection from the large scaled monsters guarding the nearby entrance. Suddenly luck was granted to him in the form of a small gashed opening just big enough for a very thin person to get through. Smirking, The Doctor turned off and flipped his sonic screwdriver in his hand before tucking it away and approaching the gash.
Popping his head through first, The Doctor looked around before slowly squeezing his body through and stepping on a pile of cargo boxes inside of the ship. Just barely scathing into the ship, The Doctor breathed a sigh of relief as he flopped down onto the metal floor of the Imperial star ship. Squinting, The Doctor continued the search for the life form his screwdriver had picked up on, his eyes dancing across the corridors littered with debris and sparking wires. As the hallway curved and The Doctor progressed through the ship, his attention became more aware of a echoing groan and rustling from the corresponding part of the ship ahead.
Quickening his pace, The Doctor turned the corner and entered the lobby like section of the ship that lead to the command bridge a few feet back. Blood lined the walls and floors, obviously from the impact of the crash and also the apparent removal of bodies from the blood thirsty scavengers. In the top left hand corner of the lobby laid a heap of debris, it also turned out to be the origin of the life sign and groans as The Doctors eyes landed on the woman. Dashing over to her, The Doctor knelt beside her, "Sssh sshh ssh. It's okay, you don't have to talk. I'm a doctor, i'm here to help" he whispered. Noticing the blood on the woman's forehead, The Doctor quickly removed his tie and lightly tied it around her head, "Not exactly a fashion statement i know...but clever people can pull it off. From your pupil dilation you only have a mild concussion, not that much of a problem unless you can on going to a rock concert anytime soon" he joked.
Shifting his attention to the debris around the woman, he noticed the large pieces of beams that lay across her legs, preventing her from escaping. Sighing, The Doctor moved over to the pieces of debris and, as lightly as he could, began to move them off of her legs. With a thud, the last piece of debris was removed; unsure if the nearby guards heard the thud, The Doctor arched his eyebrow and kept an eye on the entrance as the woman got free just in case.

| Charity was a bit startled when someone appeared in the control room. To her relief, it was not a Strabotune, but a man. She didn't recognize him, but he quickly came to her aid whispering that he was a doctor. Where did a doctor come from, way out in space like this? She was confused but watched him pull off his tie and start to wrap it around her head. She started to protest, because she didn't want to ruin his tie. "There's a.. medical kit.." She managed to say, pointing toward the far wall. But she didn't catch him in time, and soon his tie was bound around her bleeding head. "Thanks.." She looked confused about the comment about rock concerts but didn't bother asking.
She watched as he began to move the things that had her trapped, and when she felt that she was free, she sighed in relief and pulled herself forward until she was clear of the debris. She checked to see if there was any injury to her legs but didn't notice anything, other than a bit of a bruised feeling where stuff had landed on her, she was fairly sure that she wasn't hurt other than her head. She slowly stood up, pressing a hand to her head as a wave of dizziness swept over her. She leaned against the nearest wall, closing her eyes as she took a moment to wait for the dizziness to pass.
Then she looked around again, remembering about the Strabotunes and her fellow crew members. The sight of all the blood on the walls and floor made her a little sick, wondering how many of them were even left alive. But.. why would they be taken if they were dead? And what would happen to those who were still alive? She looked wide eyed at the doctor who had come to help. "I have to help the others.." She said faintly. She took her weight off of the wall and tried to stand up straight, without leaning on anything. Maybe he'd believe that she wasn't too badly injured to go off rescuing the people who had been taken captive. "I have to find them.." She said as she started off unsteadily in the direction that she knew to go to get to the exit, unaware of how changed the ship might be due to the crash.

| Flannagan sighed, walking forward and mentally preparing himself for a fight if it broke out. His face was in a slight grin as he nodded to the creature, hands in the air as the creatures glared at him.
"What ye lookin' at?"
He shook his head, staring at the crocodile-looking creatures that had captured them. Ugly things. Primitive by the looks of things. The creatures turned to look at each other before grabbing his upper arm before being roughly guided and shoved into a cell with another person, who by the looks of things had given up with almost everything.
"You an' me both, mate..." He muttered, walking along the cell bars, running his finer along them.
Pulling off his trenchcoat, Al placed it on the ground. A smirk danced at the corner of his lips as he remembered his holsters. The captors had yet to check everyone of weapons, or at least forgot to check him, seeing that they had not realised that he was a stowaway. The second man jumped up at the sight of his firearms with a slightly more hopeful expression.
"You could get us out of here, shoot them when they unlock it and we could rescue---You listening?"
Flannagan was trying to work out the statistics but he had never been very good with math. Seeing that he was probably the only one armed, there would be a very good chance he was outnumbered and his chances of survival was slim. "I can't, mate. Too risky."
"You say that! It's risky staying in here waiting for them to kill us!"
"Shut it and ge' to the naughty corner," He jerked his head to one of the corners at the back of the cell and brought a hand to his forehead in thought. "I'll figure somethin' out soon enough...."

| The Doctor looked back as the woman began to stir behind him; turning around he confronted her before she continued further towards the exit of the ship, "You're in no condition to go wondering off to find them" he stated, glancing at the visible dry blood on her forehead. "What we need is someone on the inside. You know about these creatures...probably more than i do to be honest. If you can get captured on purpose you can get in and start looking for your people. It'll give me enough of a distraction for me to get inside their ship and start doing some mayhem...i tend to be good at that". Turning on his heel, The Doctor shifted his attention to the nearby medical kit that the woman had pointed out earlier.
Yanking the box from the bent wall, The Doctor wiped off the top with the sleeve of his suit, eyeing the name displayed on the cover, ISS Destiny. The Doctor arched his eyebrow, the name of the ship ringing a bell as he made his way back over to the woman; with a sniff he pushed the thought to the side. "Here" He said as he handed the woman a stim injector from the med pack, "This will help with the pain until i'm able to get you back to my ship". Pausing for a moment, The Doctor thought before speaking once more, "Do you know how to use sonic technology? I mean i don't expect you to but still...if you want to take reigns on this you can. My plan was to find a way to the cockpit of the ship, and then use this" The Doctor stopped as he pulled out his sonic screwdriver, "Setting two will disrupt their cell holding signals if you point it to the controls. From there the inside people come into play. Find the crew members, save the others and escape. Little bit of allons-y here and there and we'll be good to go. Either way, we need to give them a reason to stick around here for a little bit longer....so what do you say? My lead or yours?"
The Doctor awaited the woman's answer, holding out his sonic screwdriver for the woman to take if she chose to take charge on the mission.

| Charity realized that he was right; she couldn't go after the strabs and rescue her crewmates in this condition. She needed to clean off the blood the best she could, bandage her head properly, and come up with a plan. As she was thinking that, the stranger was handing her something from the medical kit, but she was more interested in the other stuff to clean and bandage the wound with. She shook her head at the stim thing he handed her and instead searched in the kit to find antiseptic and gauze. She began to work on cleaning off the blood and pressing gauze to the wound to try and slow the bleeding, and talked as she worked. "No way, I'm not getting captured." She replied, going a bit wide eyed at the very suggestion. "I can't help them if I get captured too." She tried not to sound too frightened by the idea, but honestly the thought of getting captured was very frightening.
Having cleaned up the blood the best she could, she then dug out some ointment that she could put on her wound that would make it stop bleeding quickly and also make it start to heal. She looked up at him as he said something about sonic technology and what his plan was. The concussion made it slightly harder for her to make sense of everything he said, but she got the general idea. With one hand, she quietly reached to take the offered device and looked it over curiously while her other hand found a tube of something, from the medical kit. "Sonic like sound? We don't use anything like that, but it's not an unfamiliar concept.." She put some thick green ointment stuff on her fingers and started trying to put it on the gash on her head, although without being able to see the wound, it was a little difficult. Where the ointment was spread on, the bleeding stopped and the pain faded significantly. Charity took a moment to think through the remaining concussion-induced headache.
"Dealing with Strabotunians is dangerous. And you were right to stop me wandering off like I was, they'd have noticed me right away, they can smell blood.." She frowned. "If you're sure you want to help.. then stealth is going to be essential. If they catch us, we're prisoners. And.. I don't know what they do to their prisoners, because no one's ever come back to tell what happens." She bit her lip and began on a proper bandage once she had applied enough of the green paste. "I can't think of anything right now, my head hurts and I feel like it's all..scrambled inside." She frowned. "But getting captured is definitely high on my list of things to avoid doing." After finishing off the bandage, she started to put the kit away, then had a second thought, and took out a spray bottle and put a few squirts of the stuff on the tie that he had used as a temporary bandage, then used a rag to wipe the stuff off, and the tie now showed no signs of having ever had blood on it. "There, thank you for sacrificing your tie for my sake, I hope I got the stains out well enough.."

| "Have you thought of anything yet, prison buddy?" The man asked, arms folded across his chest as he paced around in the cell.
Flannagan had to stop himself from rolling his eyes, it was growing harder and harder each time the man continued to repeat himself, as if a broken record. He was, too, growing impatient. He wanted to do something but not until he got himself out of the cell. He raked a hand through his short hair, grumbling to himself.
"Hey! Have you--"
"Really not the time, I 'ave not figured somethin' out if ye shut yer mouth for a second, mate!" Flannagan snapped. This time, it had attracted the attention of one of the nearby crocodile creatures, walking over. Flannagan could see it's nostrils flaring as it inhaled his scent. Probably smelled like any old human.
However, what he did not know was the fact that he was a genetically modified human. The creature seemed to grin, showing it's row of knife-like teeth before walking off. "Oi, mate! Be great if ye could open the cell for us! Nope, fine then! Walk away, see if I care..."
"So, what you just told me, we're STUCK and going to DIE if we don't get out of here!" The man yelled, walking up to Flannagan, grabbing a fistful of his shirt. Their noses nearly touching. "You told me you can get us out of here!"
"Hold yer horses! Let go of me and maybe we can talk. Yer irrational. Get some rest before ye talk to me again." Flannagan said, waiting for the male to drop him. He was let go and walked a few steps backwards, watching as the man lay on the makeshift "bed." He shrugged, his hand reaching into his jacket pocket, wrapping around the handle of his pistol.

| The Doctor looked down at his, now wet, tie and sniffed as he took it back from the woman, "No worries. I've got a heck of a dry cleaner..she's really good. Well...unless she's ingested too much energy from the polarity of the neutron flow then things get weird. Speaking of that..i always meant to fix Rasputin's skin color". Shrugging and stopping himself from continuing with the ramble, The Doctor quickly fitted his tie back around his color and buttoned up his suit jacket before turning his attention to the entrance of the crashed ship. "Alright, let's get moving before the ship takes off. I imagine they won't be staying for much longer" The Doctor concluded after a moment of thought as he glanced back at the woman, "Oh, i'm The Doctor by the way, nice to meet you. Allons-y".
Without another word, The Doctor burst into a jog and turned the corner, stopping as the sound of footsteps marched past the front entrance of the ship. Peering around the edge of the hallway, The Doctor spotted several of the guards heading towards the ship, "It seems like their leaving. Come on..stay close" he whispered back to the woman. Lowering himself to a crouching position, The Doctor proceeded to the edge of the entrance and crept out just enough to get a complete view of the guards. Squinting, The Doctor looked over the options he had, They're leaving Doctor, you have to do something to stop them. Estimated time..twenty seconds..make that ten...lets low ball for seven seconds in case they run up the ramp. No! Hang on! Got it!.
Lifting his sonic screwdriver, The Doctor aimed it at one of the automatic support beams connected to the ramp and held it there in place, "Come on, come on" he mumbled. Suddenly the support beam gave way and the ship tilted to its side, knocking the guard on the ramp completely off and the other two immediately rushing to his side, their backs now turned to the ramp. "Okay. This is a short window. Run as fast as you can, keep your eyes on me. We've got one shot to get on board then hide, are you ready?".

| Charity was a bit puzzled by some of the words this strange Doctor used, like allonzee and something about fixing someone's skin color, and but now was not the time to be asking a lot of questions. She nodded a bit at his introduction, which she noticed lacked a proper name but she didn't question that now, they had more pressing issues to think about at the moment. "Flight Officer Charity Elmstone, it's a pleasure to meet you Doctor." She said quietly as she hurried to follow him. She didn't see any sign of her fellow crewmates just yet, but she was sure they were somewhere on that ship, and she was determined to rescue them. She hoped that her wound was bandaged up well enough not to draw the enemy's attention, and gently touched the spot to make sure it was still dry, although she knew the herb paste would have stopped the bleeding so it shouldn't have bled through. It was, indeed, still dry, so she tried to stop worrying about it.
She crouched alongside the Doctor as they stopped to watch the Strabotunes marching past, and watched as the Doctor used that unfamiliar device to cause destruction to the support beam on the ramp. She watched, a bit impressed, and then tensed in preparation to run. "Ready." She whispered softly in reply, watching both the Doctor and the Strabotunes. The very idea of sneaking on board a Strabotune ship and stowing away was rather intimidating and she felt her heart racing, but she took slow breaths to try and stay calm. They would need a plan of course, and she didn't think that this Doctor knew enough about Strabotunes to come up with any proper plan. She tried to think of what they needed to do. First, get on board the ship. Then, locate prisoners, figure out how to release them, and get them off the ship, all without drawing the strabotunes' attention. She wasn't quite sure how they were going to do all that without getting caught, but she was sure they would come up with something.

| Once Charity replied to him The Doctor nodded and raced towards the ship, glancing back over his shoulder twice along the way to make sure she was keeping up with him. About half way to the ship, the Strabotunes unexpectedly began to move; The Doctor stopped and froze in place as his widened eyes watched. One Strabotune tried to lift the unconscious one up but to no avail, falling backwards in the process and hitting the other behind him. In a spontaneous frenzy, the two began to argue over the body of their unconscious friend. The very sight caused The Doctor to chuckle slightly, before containing it and signalling Charity with his hand and continuing the rest of the way.
Slowly, The Doctor crept up the metal ramp of the ship, trying not to cause any sound and alert the nearby guards who continued to bicker. Once inside the ship, The Doctor released a sigh of relief before gazing down the two halls to his right and left, "Now..to find the prisoners" he whispered. Suddenly a cough echoed from down the left hallway, immediately catching The Doctors attention and sparking his interest as he made his way down the hall. Losing track of where Charity was, The Doctor continued down the narrow passageway until finally coming upon the holding cells.
A loud grunt emitted from in front of the holding cells, making The Doctor immediately halt and slowly peer around the corner. In the center of the holding cells stood a lone Strabotune guarding the prisoners, hitting a nearby cell every few seconds when a prisoner made a noise, mainly to amuse himself more than anything. The Doctor arched his eyebrow as he drew back his head into safety. Resting his head up against a pipe behind him, The Doctor placed gently bit the tip of his thumb nail as he begun to think, "Can't afford to use the sonic in here...might draw too much again" he whispered, thinking out loud, "I don't suppose your womanly whiles would sway the beast?" he jokingly asked Charity as he glanced over to her.

| There was only one option left, and seemingly a useless one at that. Flannagan cringed as he thought about the option to yell the word at the top of his lungs. He watched as the guard continued to bang at the cell bars.
Though, it seemed as there was at least one other option. That still included yelling at the top of his lungs. He looked back at the other prisoner he had been bunked with a ghost of a smirk. Flannagan probably would hate this part but it seemed like a useful idea. "Ye probably want te brace yerself for what comes next, mate."
The male got up, brows furrowing as he watched the blond hair male turn back to the bars.
"Hey! Ugly! Get yer arse over this way! Yea, I'm talkin' te ye!" Flannagan taunted the Strabotune. The creature turned it's head at the sudden explosion of noise, grunting and walking over to where he was. "Yea, c'mon! Brin' it on, ugly!"
The creature, Strabotune, growled at Flannagan, snapping it's knife-like teeth, the stench was horrendous. It opened the cell, grabbing hold of him by the collar. He could almost feel the satisfaction as it pinned him against the wall.
"Alrigh' mate! Could do with some 'elp. Thought...it would go a lil' easier than this!" Flannagan struggled, hitting out at all the weak spots he could think of that would normally cripple a human. But it did not seem to affect the creature, only making it more angry, pointing a very sharp blade at his neck.

| Charity couldn't help a silent laugh at what the doctor said. Use her womanly wiles? She shook her head. "I don't have any 'womanly wiles'.." She whispered. She started trying to think of a plan. If they made some sort of diversion, maybe the strab warrior would leave, but then what? He would just come right back to his post, probably annoyed. She checked for her sidearm and considered whether it would be a good idea to attack it. Thinking of how much more advanced their latest ship model was, and how it was resistant to the weapons they had aboard the Destiny, she suspected that her weapon wouldn't do any good against the strab, and it would probably call attention to them and stuff. She didn't draw the weapon, and instead tried to think of a different plan.
Then she heard a commotion, and peeked cautiously around the corner. She widened her eyes, seeing the strabotune holding a guy against the wall. She was sure that it was about to kill the guy, and she was very worried and tried to think of what to do to save the guy. She also wondered who he is and where he came from..he wasn't a member of the Destiny's crew. "Oh no.." She whispered under her breath. She looked back at the Doctor with worry in her eyes, hesitating. "There's a prisoner in there I don't recognize.. he taunted the strab and it's about to kill him." She kept her voice very low so not to be heard by the strabotune. "What do we do?"

| The Doctors eyes shot wide as Charity relayed what she saw to him; jetting his attention to the strab holding the man, his mind immediately began to work on a solution. Then he saw Charity's side arm and immediately withdrew it from the holster. Spinning back under the cover of the hallway, The Doctor flipped out his sonic screwdriver, "Your blaster has some sort of cooling mechanism right?" he spoke aloud, "After you fire it immediately starts to cool down. Otherwise it'll overheat". As he spoke, The Doctor scanned the blaster with his screwdriver and even holding his trusty device in his mouth as he opened a side panel to expose the cooling unit, "Gotcha!".
Swinging around the corner, The Doctor placed his sonic screwdriver up against the exposed cooling mechanism and aimed the barrel at the Strab, "Oi!" he proclaimed. The reptile cringed its teeth as it turned its head towards The Doctor, easing its grip on the man slightly, "I think you just need to chill out a bit" The Doctor added before activating his screwdriver. A pulse of cool air hit the Strab with initially no affect, but it caused him to drop the man and turn its full attention on The Doctor. "Come on" The Doctor gritted his teeth, increasing the power of the sonic with his thumb, resulting in the Strabotone falling to the metal floor with a thud, small patches of ice scattered across his armor.
The Doctor released a sigh then a sniff before tossing Charity her blaster back, "Reptiles..not very good with cool weather" he explained briefly before sauntering over to the now open cell, "I'm sure they heard that so we should start getting all these people out. No telling how long it will take for that guard to thaw out but...given how hot it is in here..it won't be long". Suddenly the ship trust forward as the echoing sound of the ramp clamping up roared throughout the ship. The engines burst with life along with cries of laughter emitted from the docking bay of the ship, "They're taking off..." The Doctor mumbled, "I need to get the cockpit. The faster the better, there's no telling where this ship is heading".

| Flannagan felt himself losing conciousness, and how glad he was to see backup. Of course, Flannagan was surprised to see other humanoids that were free from their cage. Once he had dropped, he took in a large intake of breath. Whilst he was doing so, he pulled out both guns. Looking down at the Strab, he half-smirked and half-cringed at the reptile.
"Thanks, mate."
He listened to the engines roar, jerking backwards, almost losing his footing. However, Flannagan reached down, trying to find the keys to the cell doors, flipping through the ring till he came to the one and unlocked the cells closest to him. "We'll be needin' back up." Perhaps he did not have to explain his actions but he was thinking that if stuff went south, they at least had people who were capable.
Hopefully.
"I need to get the cockpit. The faster the better, there's no telling where this ship is heading".
"I'd be lookin' to ye female comp'ny for that information. Ye need me to do anythin', jus' let me know." Hertz said, smiling at the woman. "Flannagan Ryder, nice to meet you. I'm jus' jolly, thank you for askin'." He truly wanted to help, but he had a bad feeling that the Strabs had something special planned for him.

| Charity stared in astonishment as the Doctor used her blaster weapon to shoot ice at the Strab. She was a bit amazed, and wondered why no one in charge of weapon making had ever thought of that. It made sense though, as he mentioned. Strabotunians were reptilian, and reptiles do like it warm. The heat of this ship was evidence of that. She caught the blaster that was tossed back to her, and slid it back in its holster. Just then the ship jerked forward and she braced herself against the wall to keep from falling. She put a hand lightly to her bandaged forehead and took a moment to make sure she was alright, then hurried to check on the man who had been attacked, but he seemed alright now. "Are you alright?" She asked anyway. She was glad to hear that he was alright, and turned to the Doctor. "They will probably be heading back to Strabotune, their own planet. We do NOT want to go there." She said, quite seriously. She smiled back at Ryder. "Charity Elmstone, pleased to meet you." She turned back to the man in the cell with Ryder, and didn't recognize him. She realized that there must be a lot of other prisoners aside from the survivors of the Destiny. She hesitated as she was uncertain of whether to help Ryder with freeing prisoners or to help the Doctor find the cockpit. Then she wondered, how was this even going to work anyway? She knew this was a very large battle ship for the Strabs, and that meant there was going to be way too many Strabs for them to hope to overpower. She frowned a little. "Doctor, there could be anywhere from 2,000 to 5,000 Strabotunes on this ship and we only have one weapon that even works against them..temporarily at that." She pointed out, frowning. "Exactly how do you plan to take command of this ship?"- Note:
"After giving it some thought, I concluded that the ISS Destiny had a crew of around 100 or so people, and only about 13 survived in addition to Charity; they will all be injured. Any extra people will be captives from previous raids this ship had done. They will probably not all be humans either. "

| The Doctor thought deeply, his eyes dancing from Charity and over to Ryder before falling down to Charity's blaster and suddenly an idea came to him, "Mechanisms" he mumbled. Bursting with sudden energy, The Doctor turned his attention to the pipes and raced over to the corner where he placed his ear up against one of them. Holding for a few seconds, he listened before moving to another one, then another until finally stopping on a red colored pipe, "Gotcha!" he exclaimed. Turning around, The Doctor faced the Ryder, Charity and the now free survivors, "Cooling pipes, lined throughout the ship. Yeah they like it warm but it can't be too hot..so i figured there had to be a cooling system just like your blaster. Their controls must regulate how much cold gets through, so all we have to do is get to that panel and turn it up some".
Hopping in front of Ryder for a second to breathe before continuing, "Since you have the nice coat, i'll leave this job to you. We need a signal to another ship, distress signal of some kid. The air will only stop them for a little while. I'm sure they have some sort of communications array on board the ship". Turning to the survivors, The Doctor rubbed the back of his head, "Two thousand to five thousand Strabs...it's not that bad..well..sort of...i faced worse, i once fell into a hole full of vampire monkeys. But that's a story for another time. Anyways!".
The Doctor sniffed as he turned his attention to Charity, "You know this ship better than anyone. There's bound to be more people on board in need of cheering up. Who better?". Shifting his eyes over to a nearby door for the room they are in, The Doctor stepped over to it, "I can seal this off so no more Strabs get in. Well...hopefully they won't find a way in before we can paralyze them until help arrives".

| Charity watched as the Doctor put his ear to the different pipes, and wondered what he was doing. Then, as he explained, she grinned. "Oh that's brilliant!" She smiled. "If nothing else, the cold should make them quite slow, and less able to do anything to stop us." She smiled at the plan, but wondered how they were going to manage to take over the controls to do this. "The place to do that would probably be the engine room." She added after some thought. She thought about how hot it probably was in the engine room. "There might be a lot of them there. Working, or just lounging because of the warmth." She thought about where their planet was located; nearest the suns. Their planet must be quite warm, therefore.
She frowned a little as the Doctor started giving out instructions. "Doctor, perhaps it'd be better for me to send the distress signal and he could free the rest of the prisoners? I don't know this ship any better than you or he does, but I do know about the strabotunians. We don't want to send just any distress signal, after all.. if another strab ship happens by they'll probably come to aid their fellows.. or if another imperial ship picks up a distress signal from a strab ship they'll either ignore it or come to finish it off." She pointed out. "But..if you think the other way is better then we'll go with that. I am good at cheering people up." She added with a smile. Somehow from the way he seemed to take charge, he seemed like maybe he was some high ranking person used to giving orders. She didn't want to seem like she was being insubordinate to someone she ought to be taking orders from, just in case.
Another thought popped into her head. "Oh. Another thing. What about the ones they killed?" She asked, frowning. "They never leave behind those that they kill.. they take captives of both the living and dead. I'm.. not sure I want to know why.." She bit her lip. "But.. they'll need somewhere to keep the bodies, so they don't get all..you know, smelly? There must be someplace on this ship that serves as a...morgue?" She frowned. "That would mean that they may have some equipment for dealing with cold.." She trailed off as she realized she was sort of rambling.

| Flannagan sighed, running a hand through his hair, going back to scratch the back of his neck. It was an odd situation that they found themselves in. However, he had guns and they were just stupid crocodiles with pointy sticks.
"Cooling pipes, lined throughout the ship. Yeah they like it warm but it can't be too hot..so i figured there had to be a cooling system just like your blaster. Their controls must regulate how much cold gets through, so all we have to do is get to that panel and turn it up some. Since you have the nice coat, i'll leave this job to you. Flan nodded, he was not one to complain. If he had been given a job, he was going to do that, whether it earned him a lump sum or not. It sounded complicated but hey, he was used to a complicated way of living. Pulling out his pistols, he nodded, quickly setting off at a light jog down the ship, his pistols in both hands and a smirk on his face. It was going to be challenging, but fun.
So, what he was looking for was some sort of temperature device. The reptiles liked it cold? Well, he was about to give them the shock of their lives. "So, an army of crocs. Sounds like a walk in Oz."
Rounding the corner, he pressed himself up against the wall as two Strabs walked past before quickly sneaking past them and continuing his journey down the rabbit hole, so to speak.
