| Charity followed the Doctor, curious about the situation and this unusual woman. She wondered what the Doctor meant, saying she was a carrionite. She'd never heard of this, was it a sort of alien? She wondered why the Doctor had imprisoned her sisters. She quietly listened to their talking, but otherwise sort of hung back since it didn't seem to involve her. Standing off to the side a little, she didn't really mind so much being overlooked and maybe even ignored.
But then she heard her say something about using the crew of this ship to fuel her powers. Her grey eyes widened as she heard this appalling thing. Someone had been kind to her, and helped her recover from dying, and she repayed them by killing them? How awful! She was just about to speak up to say something about that when suddenly things escalated. Suddenly, the woman was announcing that they were all going to die as well and robots were popping out to make it happen.
Instantly, by instinct, Charity's hand went to her blaster. She hesitated, however, taking in the situation in a second. She'd had months of training for the Imperial Forces, but what do you do in a situation like this? Assess the situation first. There were three robots, two of which were each holding one of Ponce's men, with needles stabbed into them. Whatever was in those needles was surely not good. She could easily shoot them and take them out, but there was a third robot, holding a blaster on them. There was no possible way of disarming it without literally removing its arm. She could shoot it, and probably take it out, but that left the other two. And the woman in the bed seemed to be somehow drawing strength from the men that had been stabbed with the needles. She could point her blaster at the old woman, but she'd still be able to order the robots to kill them and apparently she had some sort of powers that were getting stronger as they spoke. So who knew what sort of powers those might be?
After taking a moment to think over all these things, she reluctantly decided that the best thing that she could do at this point was wait and see how things went. Then, seeing the Doctor glance at her, she wondered.. was he glancing at her in concern that he'd brought her into this situation, or was he trying to tell her something? If he was, what could it be? Did he want her to do something? Or not do something? Could he be trying to ask her for some sort of help.. a distraction maybe? Or was he trying to tell her to just stay back and do nothing? It was so hard to be sure, and that brief glance hadn't been much to tell her anything. But she felt, somehow, like she SHOULD do something.
As she tried to think of what she could possibly do to help, leaning toward the idea of a distraction, she remembered something that she thought might be useful. Then she thought.. what better way to help than to stall for time while trying to get more information? She stepped forward slightly. "What are those?" She frowned, nodding at the tanks. "How is draining us supposed to help make you stronger.. what are you, a vampire?" She put her hands on her hips. "And you know.. once you run out of people to kill, you'll just be right back to this state, and then what?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "Do you seriously think you can wipe out an entire planet's worth of people without some sort of repercussions?"

| The Doctor turned back, at first surprised at Charity suddenly asking questions but then realizing what she was doing. Distracting the Carionite was just what The Doctor needed as he watched Charity and the Carionite speak and divert the villains attention away from him. The Carionite glared over at Charity, "Words of power my dear! Their live force feeds into mine, they give up their lives so i may have mine back! They're my..fountain of youth if you will like you are going to be soon!!". The Carionite displayed her rejuvenated power in full force as she sat up from the bed and out stretched her arms, revealing the tubes funneling into her skin of her biceps, "This world and all worlds shall return back into the time of blood and witchcraft! And even if one escapes my lair, the fluid in my friends needles shall make them forget".
Seizing the opportunity, The Doctor flipped out his sonic screwdriver and activated it over the tank nearest to him. The controls on the side sparked and exploded; suddenly the fluid in the tank bubbled and turned to blue, the flow of the tubes reversing and began to drain the Carionite and funnel into the men. The robots lunged, injecting Ponce's men with the needles and Ponce De Leon himself in the arm. "What!! What are you doing?!?!" The Carionite exclaimed, "Oh..i just reversed the polarity of the neutron flow" The Doctor replied with a sniff as he turned to the Carionite, "Looks like your fountain of youth has all dried up". Ponce's men hooked up to the tubes burst back to live with a gasp of air each, their eyes wide as they looked around and immediately ripping the tubes hooked onto them.
The Carionite roared as the process reversed itself and her skin began to wrinkle more and her bones became more frail as she fell back into the bed, "Doctor!" she hissed, "He who owns sleep shall own time..he is coming Doctor. Coming in the wind. That is....if you get out of here alive". With one last ounce of strength, the Carionite reached over to a nearby control panel, hooked up to her bed, and pressed a red button. Warning lights suddenly flashed from the blue strips and a siren began to roar, "Die with me Doctor!". The Doctors eyes widened as he turned and bolted towards Charity, "Everybody out!! Go! Go! Go!". Waving his arms, The Doctor urged everyone to get to the door, the robots ran over to their leader in an attempt to save her, "Engine overload..tee minus thirty seconds.." proclaimed an overhead computerized voice.

| Charity was glad that her attempt at distracting the woman worked, and she was equally glad that the Doctor took the opportunity to do something. She was relieved to see the men pulling out the tubes, and they seemed to be ok. Everything seemed to happen very fast, and suddenly alarms were going off and she wasn't really sure what was going on but she understood that they had to run.
She was trying to figure out what that stuff was that the woman said to the Doctor about someone coming. She didn't understand it.. it was like a riddle she guessed. But she didn't have time for thinking about it right now. She began helping Ponce's men to run out, making sure that they got out ahead of her before running with them. They had thirty seconds to get out before.. something happened. "What's going to happen?" She asked the doctor as she ran down the hall back toward the lift they had come in by.

| The Doctors eyes widened as he rushed everyone out, bolting down the hallway with Ponce and his men and Charity at his side. The red lights and roaring sirens made his hearts beat at twice the pace as he raced down the flashing red hallway. That was however until the group reached the main lobby when The Doctor's attention shifted to his left to a statue he saw. The Doctor suddenly stopped dead in his tracks and stared disbelievingly at the bronze statue he saw. The statue was of a man, a gold plaque was bolted to the black block beneath it which read James Fairchild, Founder. "It can't be..." The Doctor mumbled as he looked up at the statue but was quickly reminded of the threat at hand by the voice returning over the speaker, "Tee minus fifteen seconds".
The Doctor shook his head and as quick as he could, caught up with the group as he turned the corner into the hallway that lead to the elevator shaft. Reconnecting with Charity, The Doctor grinned, "A little bit of cardio never hurt anybody" he joked, "She activated the system overload. The engines powering the ship are overloading and about to explode! But besides that, nothing else too bad". Ponce and his men stood on the platform, looking on to The Doctor as he dashed down the hallway towards them, his sonic screwdriver flipped out and activated once jumped onto the platform.
The platform released a gust of air before shooting upwards; the sound of the interior exploding echoed and became nearly deafening as the platform ascended. Flames engulfed the entirety of the ship, from the room with the Carrionite to the lobby and finally to the shaft. The flames rose and filled the shaft and chased the platform to the top. Ponce gulped as he glanced to the edges of the platform, the metal beginning to glow red hot as the flames began to build up from underneath. "Once it reaches the top we have to jump!" The Doctor informed the group, "There's no telling if the platform will stay intact. So be ready to Allons-y"; reaching over, The Doctor grabbed Charities hand and gave her a reassuring nod as the platform began to reach the top.

| Charity ran as fast as she could, making sure that no one fell behind. She breathed hard as she began to get a little bit winded, but she'd done plenty of running in her training and was used to it.
As they entered the lobby, Charity began hurrying everyone toward the elevator shaft when she glanced around and didn't see the Doctor among them. She started to hurry back down the hall to find him when he came running back toward her and caught up with her. "Where did you.." She started to ask, but decided that she should save her breath for running, and soon got onto the elevator platform with everyone else.
As the elevator began to rise, Charity took a moment to catch her breath, and nodded to the Doctor when he said they'd have to jump. It only took a few moments before she had caught her breath enough to be ready for the next bout of running, and smiled a bit at the Doctor when he grabbed her hand, like he wanted to make sure she didn't get separated and left behind. As the platform neared the surface, she prepared to jump and run, or whatever might be necessary, glad to have had training for situations like this where she might be in a battle or something.

| The finally rose to land level, clicking into place to finalize the ascent, "Run!!" The Doctor proclaimed, leaping off the platform with Charity. Ponce and his men quickly followed, following The Doctors lead and landing on the jungle surface, some falling onto their stomachs and some landing perfectly on their feet. Ponce tripped as he dashed behind a nearby tree, nearly tripping over some vines in the process. The Doctor looked back to the platform, expecting for a huge explosion of some kind but instead their mad dash to safety was rewarded with a small puff of smoke shooting from the edges of the platform. The Doctor looked on disappointed, standing up straight as he stood two steps toward the platform, "Aww that was it?" he groaned.
Ponce De Leon emerged from the foliage, as did his men, chuckling at The Doctors comment as he walked over to him, "Be glad it was not more my friend. The trees would have surely burned and consumed us before we made it back to the ship". Signalling his men, Ponce ordered them to move back to the shore, "Speaking of which, we should get back to the ship. I cannot wait to get off this forsaken land". The Doctor nodded his head, his mind beginning to work on processing what he had seen in the lobby and what the Carrionite had told him just moments before her demise. Ponce turned and began walking after his men but stopped and waited for The Doctor to join him, "Doctor i must ask something" he said as he came to a realization, "That thing..the monster, it said we would forget? What does that mean?". The Doctor trailed slightly behind Ponce, his hand still attached to Charities until he let go to place both his hands into his pockets, "The serum that was injected has a side affect..it was used to ready your blood for her digestion but in doing so it takes some blood flow to your brain causing that dizziness. Could cause you to forget, not entirely sure..human minds are great at remembering things..in someway shape or form".
Ponce listened to The Doctor as they pushed through the last bit of foliage to enter into the bright sun lit shore line. Ponce's men in the distance could be seen preparing the boats to travel back to the ship, their voices echoing as they called orders out to one another. "Such a shame" Ponce continued, turning around to face The Doctor and Charity, "Despite how terrifying i would have loved to remember. Say that i found the fountain of youth..i guess" he scuffed, "Now i must find my passion for discovery again". "Oh you will! Don't mind this little hiccup, there's plenty of undiscovered land out there. All the riches and new people..call it intuition but i know you've got a lot to look forward to" The Doctor replied with an emerging grin, receiving a smirk from Ponce and a nod, "Thank you Doctor..and ma'lady. For this experience, i shall deliver you back home before i venture off again. Come, let's go home" he replied before turning and returning to his men.

| Charity ran with the Doctor, knowing they'd have to get far away from the blast or it was likely to kill them. But when the 'blast' happened, it wasn't anywhere near as dramatic as she had anticipated. She was relieved, and grinned a little in amusement at the Doctor when he seemed disappointed. She shook her head a little at him in amusement.
Following the others, she couldn't help a small frown at Ponce's words, calling this beautiful place a 'godforsaken land'. "Don't blame the land for what those monsters were doing, Captain. It's beautiful.. look at all the flowers!" She smiled, waving a hand around at the place which Ponce had named 'Florida'. "I'm sure there are many wonderful things to be found here, right Doctor?" She glanced at him and smiled. If it were up to her, she'd like to stay and explore every bit of this place. It was so different from home, and yet it also reminded her of home at the same time.
She listened as the Doctor explained to them about the serum stuff and how they may not remember, and she wondered how he knew about all this stuff. But she smiled as Ponce said he would like to remember them and their adventure, and promising to take them back home. "Thank you." She replied with a smile. After he went back to captaining his ship, Charity turned to the Doctor. "Isn't your ship here in the lower part of the ship?" She asked quietly. "How will we explain it when we go to your ship and.. disappear?" She wondered, imagining that it might stir up a lot of worry and confusion.

| The Doctor exhaled as he began to relax and put his mind to rest, "Well..." he started, "The Carrionite said that those effects would kick it..and it should be soon so we might not have to. Be prepared to run into the TARDIS once we get there, no telling how quick it will all kick in". Looking out to the men at work and Ponce ordering them, The Doctor chuckled, "This place is just getting started..this country to be honest..amazing things yet to be discovered, adventures to be had" he looked over to Charity, "Any time, any where. Wanna see what's next?".
The boats took the crew members and The Doctor and Charity back to the ship, the men working hard to both row the boats back to the ship and pull them back up into the ship once done. The men tied them down as The Doctor turned his attention from exiting the row boat to Ponce, "Umm..we're just going to lay down..down in the storage room". Ponce looked confused, eyeing The Doctor and Charity with an eyebrow raised, "Everything okay?" he asked, "Yeah..just a bit tired you know. Just come down and let us know when we're back" The Doctor replied.
Nodding, Ponce moved aside to allow The Doctor to move open the cellar door and descend into the storage second floor where the TARDIS stood waiting for its thief to return. The Doctor smiled as he looked up at his time machine and snapped his fingers; the door flung open and welcomed The Doctor and Charity in. "Who had this door open?" Ponce exclaimed in confusion, causing The Doctor to look back at Charity and gesturing her to get into the TARDIS with his head. Dashing inside after Charity, The Doctor jumped to the control console and quickly yanked down the main lever. The doors closed just as Ponce stepped down the stairs of the cellar, his eyes wide as he watched the blue box slowly disappear with each groan of the engine and flash of the top light.

| Charity grinned as she followed the Doctor, thinking over his words about the country they were leaving. "It is a beautiful land." She said thoughtfully. She looked back at it as the men rowed the boats back to the ship. She wondered what the rest of the country looked like since it must be only a small portion of it that they had seen.
After getting to the ship, she knew when the Doctor said they were going to 'rest' in the storage room, that meant they were leaving. She turned and smiled at Ponce. "It's been wonderful meeting you, Ponce." She said with a genuine smile. "Even with all the danger and almost dying, I've had a lot of fun." She grinned. "Good luck with your adventures and exploration!" She waved and then hurried after the Doctor into the storage room.
She didn't stop to look around, and bounced quickly into the Tardis after the doors had opened, and turned to grin at the Doctor. "That was really fun! What other places are there to see?" She asked, eager for more exploration and to see more new, exciting places she'd never heard of.

| The Doctors focus narrowed down to the scanner, his thoughts returning to the man and what the Carrionite had said, "You remember that man when we first met? The one who had the machine?" he asked Charity, "His face was on a statue inside of that ship...for some reason he keeps coming up everywhere i go". Exhaling, The Doctor stood back and placed his hands in his pockets, "I've been tracking time space disruptions..sometimes it's just blips but there's points where it's far too high. I have a bad feeling it's got something to do with this man", looking over to Charity he continued, "Don't you find it weird that kind of technology was present at an early time period? That ship got there somehow..by the look of things it crashed then the robots began building it in to the surrounding nature".
Scratching the back of his head, The Doctor leaned back over the console and began activating the various systems of his machine and locking in on the time space disruptions. "Gotcha!" The Doctor proclaimed, pointing his index finger at the screen as the TARDIS displayed a wave length in front of them which included one large spike. "That must be where it happened..causing the bleed through to happen since then. If we can close it up then it might fix some things. I don't know..hard to tell" The Doctor exhaled once more, "It might take a little bit for the TARDIS to lock onto the moment in time..maybe just enough for another adventure, what do you say?" he asked with an emerging grin.

| Charity frowned as she listened to the Doctor mention the strange guy. She hadn't noticed the statue, or rather she hadn't recognized it. But, thinking back, she did think she had seen the statue. But to think that the same guy kept popping up everywhere the Doctor went? That was just odd. It couldn't be a coincidence, either. She did remember him, she remembered wondering what the device was that he'd had and the Doctor warning the Shadow Architect not to let him use it, or something like that.
"What do you think it means?" She asked, and nodded to him talking about time space disruptions and blips and something or other. 'Don't you find it weird that kind of technology was present at an early time period?' The Doctor asked her, and Charity hesitated. "Well... not really?" She could think of several explanations for that since things of that nature weren't uncommon where she was from. The planets within the Empire were provided with as much technology as they wanted, within the Emperor's ability. Astronia had all the top tech, while Esmaestea was a mix between old fashioned and high tech, and Aquoshillon from what she'd heard was a mostly high tech place but still developing. Then there was Luvecem which wasn't part of the Empire but on friendly terms with them, and they were still in the type of setting of using swords and bows and riding horses and things, but they also had spaceports to allow ships to land and they'd export goods to other planets. But if the Doctor said it was odd for Earth, then she wasn't going to argue with him.
She watched him begin to move around doing stuff on the control panel thing. She wondered if she'd ever learn to fly a spaceship. She'd tried to pilot the Destiny and keep it from crashing but had failed miserably at that. Of course, that wasn't entirely her fault as the controls had been damaged as well as the ship. 'That must be where it happened..' The Doctor said, drawing Charity's attention back to the present. "Where what happened?" She asked curiously. She didn't know what he was talking about but she did understand the last part about another adventure. She grinned back at him. "That sounds amazing! Let's go!" She grabbed onto the nearest bit of framework to hold onto in case the ride got bumpy, having learned a bit from the previous trip.

| The Doctor happily returned the grin that Charity displayed at the mention of another adventure. His hand tightening around the main lever, and yanking it down once Charity had clung onto one of the nearby coral support columns. The TARDIS hurled through the time vortex, thrashing and pulling back and forth as it zoomed past time zones and countless miles of space. The excitement and joy grew with each passing second in The Doctor, "Woooohooo!!" he proclaimed, "Hold on, we're picking up more speed!! Allons-y!!". His hand reached down underneath the console and grabbed a mallet, banging the side of the controls and cranking the regulator, The Doctor increased the speed as they approached their destination.
Suddenly, without warning, the TARDIS came to a stop as it quickly landed; sending its pilot falling to the ground beneath the console. The Doctor laughed as the TARDIS began to return to normal, the familiar hums coming back and the engines calmed down. Standing up, The Doctor yanked over the scanner and read through the gallifreyan circles on the screen, "Oh Charity" he called back as he glanced over his shoulder, "You're in for a treat with this one!".
Bolting down the ramp, The Doctor grabbed his trench coat and flipped it on as he looked over to Charity, "Whole new world, billions of miles away from home..you wanna take a look?" he rhetorically asked, gesturing to the door with his head. The sound of people could be heard, various languages calling out to one another as the sound of ships roared overhead. Suddenly a bang echoed from the doors behind The Doctor; his curiosity peaking as he turned around and popped his head out through the door. Looking out initially, The Doctor didn't see anyone by his TARDIS, groups of people gathered at various merchant stations in the alley in front of him and to the side. Banners hung from lines hanging from across buildings adjacent to one another displaying a symbol followed by the word, Festival. "Ow.." Cried a voice from below The Doctor's line of view; looking down The Doctor laid eyes on a small boy rubbing his forehead. "Oi!" The Doctor called down to him, catching the boys attention, "Why'd you run into my ship?" he asked, rubbing the unopened door next to him with a sympathetic expression splashed across his face. "I didn't mean to! It just sort of appeared..how'd it do that?" The boy answered then questioned, "Magic!" The Doctor demonstrated with his hands and widened eyes. The boy rolled his eyes with a frown, "Yeah whatever, you're crazy", "I'd prefer mad but crazy's fine" The Doctor shrugged as the boy ran off to the alley to his left and quickly becoming lost in the crowd as The Doctor stepped out of his TARDIS and into the street. The TARDIS was parked at a corner, providing some space from the vendors and crowds to the front and sides of them; The Doctor looked up at the skyscrapers far off in the distance as a ship roared overhead, "The capital never changes" he mumbled.

| Charity hung on tight as the ship flew through space. Maybe time as well. She didn't really know how all that worked, but she grinned as they went faster and faster, getting more excited the further they went. This was far better than traveling in the Destiny, it was so much faster and much more fun. She grinned as she held onto the support beam thingy and wondered where they were going to end up.
Then, they suddenly stopped moving. Charity gasped in surprise as she was thrown forward. Her grip on the beam broke and she went flying, but then she was back up quickly. Apparently, the Doctor had a similar landing. She laughed a little as she saw him getting up from under the controls, and grinned wider upon hearing the Doctor say she was in for a treat. "Where are we? When are we?" She giggled a little at how funny that sounded. She hurried after him, eager to see what was going to be on the other side of those doors. Were they in some wonderous fantasy kind of world? Or something far into the future? Maybe somewhen a long time ago.
She was right behind the Doctor as he left the Tardis, and grinned at the little boy who had run into the Tardis. "Don't mind him, he's really very nice." She assured the boy before he had run off. She smiled, rolling her eyes at the Doctor for seeming more concerned about his ship, which probably had taken a LOT of damage without hardly a mark, than the child who had ran into it.
But there were other things to think about, now. She looked around, curious to see the sign about the festival. "Ooooh, where are we? What's going on?" She started forward with the intend to wander around, but paused to look back at the Doctor. "What sort of Festival is it?" She asked, excited. "Are we going to get cotton candy and ride on the roller coaster?" She asked with a laugh, a bit teasingly but she wouldn't taking a ride on a roller coaster if there was one.

| The Doctor turned his attention to Charity, grinning as he watched her facial expressions and intrigue at the new planet she was seeing and the festival around her. "Charity, welcome to Shan Shen!!" He proclaimed, walking to the side of Charity and tucking his hands nonchalantly into his pockets as he gazed around, "And this is the annual food and art festival! The capital hosts the event and hundreds of thousands came flocking in to collect and taste. Brilliant stuff, once passed out at one of these..ate something i shouldn't have-oohh!!". The Doctors attention was immediately diverted to a nearby merchant selling blue colored drinks; grabbing two, The Doctor turned around back to Charity and offered her one.
The blue colored beverage was held in a large glass jar with white cream bubbling at the top and running down the side. Taking a sip of his, The Doctor gestured for Charity to take the drink, "Could be a bit strong at first if you're not used to it. It's bascially outer space coffee of sorts..i want to say it's called a bizz-", "Bazzer!" exclaimed the large brown colored alien merchant from behind his stand. The Doctor rolled his eyes with a slight smirk, "Merchants from all around the galaxy came here to advertise their foods and art, you get to take one then if you choose you can buy. Oh! And can't forget about the science displays! Amazing minds showcase their works here too..some a bit primitive but still".
Unbeknownst to The Doctor, a pair of eyes locked onto him from a few feet away, peering from around a corner. The man watched The Doctor and Charity for a moment, his eyes danced between them as they spoke to one another, "I figured i owed you a bit of a relaxed trip after i sort of messed up on the first one" The Doctor said with a shrug. The man slowly edged away from the corner and out of sight, pondering what he had just seen before looking up and walking off into the crowd.

| Charity grinned. If nothing else around her was exciting, the Doctor's excitement was enough to be contagious and that made her feel excited. "Shan shen?" She repeated, smiling big. "That sounds cool. Shan shen.." She grinned as she followed him around, listening as he explained about the art and food festival.
Curious as he took off to get some drinks, she took the one that was handed to her and smiled curiously at the Doctor as she watched him. "Coffee? Ohh, that's interesting, how do they get it blue?" She wondered, impressed and amazed. She laughed when he got corrected by the vendor and smiled as she sipped it, curious to try the unfamiliar drink.
"Science displays? So it's a food, art, and science festival?" She questioned, glancing around in hope of seeing some new and fascinating thing. "This place seems incredible! Where should we go?" She was practically bouncing on the balls of her feet. Maybe from excitement, or maybe from the bit of coffee she had already drank, or maybe a combination of both.
(Sorry for the long delay! Had some internet/computer issues and was very busy with work and stuff. Also, maybe when you get a chance you could reply to 'The Doctor is in'? )

| ((Just replied, sorry about the wait on that topic haha. I've been trying to find my writing mojo for that RP to be honest. Some days when i do feel a light go off, i get busy and can't come on))
The Doctor's grin held firm as he looked around, his eyes dancing from vendor to vendor and from group to group until finally a light bulb went off in his head, "Oh! I nearly forgot the reason i brought you here!". Grabbing Charity's hand, The Doctor glanced up at the nearby Chinese esque designed skyscrapers, in the distance, until finding the nearest one and turning on his heel. Quickly he made his way over to a service elevator that lifted them up from the hustling and bustling streets of the market, the glass door opening automatically at their approach and shutting once they were inside. "Little known fact...well..i suppose widely known fact by now but, this culmination of people not only marks this festival but also a certain migration path of one of the rarest creatures in the universe".
The elevator came to a screeching halt at the top floor of the building allowing for a full overview of the market and festival below, but also of the planets hovering in the sky above and snow capped mountains in the far off distance. The Doctor turned out of the elevator and entered the top floor lobby, filled with various groups of people enjoying drinks in a lavish setting with a bar and grill to the far right corner of the room. Glancing around, The Doctor looked for a service hatch to reach the top of the building and quickly found what he was looking for on the opposite side of the room. Looking over to Charity, The Doctor placed his index finger over his mouth then nudged his head over towards the service hatch and small ladder.
Sauntering over to the ladder, The Doctor made the six step climb then flipped out his sonic screwdriver to open the hatch. With a click and a turn of the wheel, the hatch creaked open allowing the sun and air to rush into the room below. Offering his hand down to Charity, The Doctor kept his eyes on the horizon, waiting for something to happen, "If i got my time right it should happen any minute now.." he mumbled. Sitting down, The Doctor placed his hands over his knees and there he watched as suddenly the clouds above burst open to give way to a huge grayish pink star whale. "There they are!" The Doctor proclaimed, "The migration of the star whales! Brilliant, amazing creatures..they glide through the cosmos, feeding off solar flares and power they pass by.".

| Charity grinned as the Doctor grabbed her hand yet again, dragging her off someplace new. This was so exciting! She was so thrilled to be here, even though she didn't really know where here was. She had always dreamed of exploring the galaxy..had joined the Imperial Galactic Forces just for that reason, and now she was doing it! She was curious, very curious in fact, when he started talking about a little known but actually very widely known fact, and something about the rarest creature in the universe. What could it be? Where was it? She had so many questions and just decided to wait and see, because she was sure that they would be answered soon. Her gray eyes wide, she followed him eagerly into the elevator, trying not to let it remind her of that lift thing from the Florida place with Ponce. After it came to the top, she looked down at the market area below with awe. It was so far up! She wondered how many stories there were. She would hate to think of what might happen if someone were to fall from up here, but she was sure that it was safe enough. She paused to admire the mountains and the planets in the sky, before hurrying after the Doctor into a lobby. She looked around at the people in the lobby before realizing they were only going through here. She hurried to keep up with him, and then a look of curiosity crossed her face as he motioned to be quiet, but nodded at a service hatch. She glanced around to see if anyone was watching, and followed him, making an effort not to look like she was full of curiosity and excitement. Climbing up the ladder, she joined him on the roof and looked around, anxious to see what they were here to see. She sat down beside him and looked up at the sky as well. Just as she was about to ask 'what is it?' he exclaimed 'there they are!'. She looked at what he was looking at and stared in awe at the giant creatures gliding across the sky. "Wow..!" She exclaimed softly. "They're so beautiful! How do they do that?"
((Thanks, Care had been asking in the chat whether you were just bored of that RP or something, I didn't know what to tell her since you'd replied to this one but not that one, didn't want her thinking you didn't like her or something! ))

| The Doctor watched Charity as she reacted to the appearance of the star whales, his excitement and intrigue feeding off of her enthusiasm, "Amazing animals they are...never really figured out how they did the things they do. They were all but killed off everywhere i looked". Suddenly a smaller star whale burst through the clouds and joined the larger whale as they made their way closer to the city. A smirk emerged onto The Doctors face, "But this moment..this moment in time i feel like i could change all that" he started, reaching inside his jacket and pulling out his sonic screwdriver.
Suddenly a loud cranking noise could be heard echoing up from the market place; the building shook as a large mechanical arm rose up from beside the building, along with two others positioned within the marketplace. Large casting nets could be seen at the end of each of the arms, its reach spanning upward a few feet higher than the building Charity and The Doctor were atop.
The echoes of cranking finally came to a halt as the machines locked into place and waited for the arrival of the whales; The Doctor stood up and offered his free hand down to Charity. "I haven't been completely honest with you Charity" He started, "You see the star whales slowly begin to fade in the universe because of things like this..people captured them for study and for fuel. But this moment in time..i can't place my finger on it but..i feel like i should change the record in favor of the whales. What do you think?" he asked, shaking his sonic screwdriver in his other hand as he held it up, "Fancy ruining some bad guys plan?".

| Charity grinned, watching in awe as the star whales moved past. She thought this was one of the most beautiful sights she'd seen so far in her life. Until the net thing started to come up. She was a little startled by the sudden noise of the mechanism thing, grabbing onto something to steady herself as the building began to shake, and she frowned as she looked around. "What is that?" She frowned. "What are they doing?" She leaned forward to see better and frowned more. "A net? They're.. oh.." She looked at the Doctor with wide eyes, taking his hand to let him help her up. "Why are they trying to capture them?" She frowned, listening as he explained about it. It was awful! She could hardly believe that someone would do such a terrible thing.
But there was a chance that they could stop this from happening. She smiled slowly as the Doctor suggested ruining some bad guy's plan. She grinned and nodded. "I'd be delighted to." She smiled. "I'll make a confession too, Doctor.. you know, I only joined the Galactic Forces so that I'd be able to get out into space, and see what's out here? Then my first trip out the ship wrecked and I thought we were all going to die.. I'm so glad I met you." She grinned happily and glanced toward the pod of whales. "How do we stop them?" She asked. "Cut the nets?" That didn't seem like a very feasible option but she was up to trying it if that was the only way.

| ((Yay! My Charry's back!! Whoot Whoot, how are things going for you?))
The Doctor smiled warmly back at Charity, looking at her as she confessed her thoughts on her first flight with the Galactic Forces, "Well..i'm not entirely sure to be honest. My sonic don't do much with these arms, i might be able to halt them enough for us to jump on this nearest one". The Doctor's analysis was ended with the horrifying echo of the baby Star Whale as it was captured by on the nets, the mechanical arm locking the net into place as the whale flailed. The mother roared upwards as it passed through the clouds above.
The ground shook as the mechanical arms began to retract, the market place floor opening up for each of the arms to be lowered into. The Doctor peered around quickly before letting Charity's hand go and taking a few steps back; activating his sonic screwdriver, the arms descent slowed down and gave a brief opening for the duo atop the building. "No time to waste, Allons-y!!!" The Doctor proclaimed, running forward and leaping across the building and onto the arm; his hand catching onto a wire and sparring him from plummeting to his death. With his sonic screwdriver tucked away, The Doctor focused on getting a firm hold of the arm before turning his attention to Charity, "Come on, i'll catch you!" he called out to her, extending out his arm, "I promise!".
The arm slowly began to regain it's speed on it's descent, the mechanisms overcoming the command of The Doctors sonic screwdriver and beginning to regain control. The other arms across the marketplace finished their respective descents, the hanger doors locking firmly shut for each one. With the baby Star Whale entangled in one of the snares, it's cries echoed up from the marketplace until the doors finally closed. Time was running out, for both the Star Whale and the opportunity to save it, The Doctor estimated twenty minutes in his mind and the clock was ticking.

| Charity watched the Doctor jump, holding her breath when she saw him nearly fall, but then breathed out a sigh of relief to see that he was safe. Now it was her turn to jump, and she wasted no time in following him. She wasn't really sure how far the jump was but she took a few steps back and ran to the edge before leaping. For a second she thought she wasn't going to make it, that she'd miss the arm and fall to the ground. But then she landed. She nearly slipped, but the Doctor was quick in steadying her and then everything seemed to be ok. At least, for her.
The baby star whale was still in danger! She looked around and had a look at what the net was made of. "Can the sonic cut through that?" She asked. "Or maybe my blaster can do it?" She thought about maybe shooting at the places where the net was secured onto the arm. Maybe if she shot at the right places, they would loose this side of the net and free the baby whale. She still didn't know how these people could do such a horrible thing, but she was bound and determined to do whatever she could to stop them from harming an innocent creature.
((I'm ok, had a sort of rough April. My workplace got a new supervisor and he decided he didn't like me, so he made up some lies about me and got me fired. Then like a week or two later my grandpa died. We spent May trying to find his will, taking care of his property, and figuring out what to do concerning the stuff he owned. So, that's why I've not been around as much. I'll try to be here more now though!))

| ((I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope everything gets better for you, if there's anything i can do just let me know. I'll definitely be praying for you )) The hangar doors sealed shut above them, the lights flickering on as the sounds of yells, voices and a shrieking echoed through the large loading bay and various surrounding corridors. The Doctor's eyes danced around the loading bay, looking out for anyone that may catch them before he began to climb down, "Looks like we're safe..for now" he whispered to Charity. As quietly as he could, The Doctor dropped down to the metal floor below, his eyes and attention turning to the metal that composed of the mechanical arm in front of him, "Looks pretty well made..your blaster might do some damage but it'd take quite a bit. The real question is...how do we get the whale out of the bay, i'm sure they wouldn't exactly approve of it being released". Cheers echoed from the loading bay adjacent to The Doctor's and Charity's, catching The Doctors immediate attention, "Sounds like they've sedated it.." he commented, "We'd better hurry". The interior of the loading bay matched the style of the marketplace above, various colored crates lined the walls which composed of a rustic grey metal, showing obvious signs of maltreatment. Various corners of the bay showed signs of dust build up as well as bottles scattered across the floor, especially in the next loading bay which The Doctor viewed through a small viewing port on the door to the left of the arm. Inside six men struggled to tie and fasten ropes across the unconscious Star Whale, a short yellow haired man entering the frame began to bark orders, "Get to moving! I need this thing for transport asap or we don't get paid. The Collector was very specific in how he wants this done". The Doctor arched his eyebrow as he lowered his head from the door window, "The Collector.." he mumbled as he rubbed the back of his head, "Could have sworn i've heard that name before..long time ago. Not sure though...". | |

| Charity nodded as she followed the Doctor. She had hoped they might be able to free the whale from the net before it was fully captured, but it looked like they were going to have to do things the harder way. She kept close to the Doctor, following as quietly as she could and keeping somewhat close to the wall in case they needed to take cover quickly. She frowned, hearing the cheers as the men.. poachers she would call them.. sedated the poor little whale. Nibbling on a nail lightly, Charity peeked in through the viewing port in the door, her head briefly popping up beside the Doctor's before they both lowered down from the window. "Who do you think this 'Collector' person is?" She frowned, thinking of what sort of reasons a person might be called a collector, and none of them seemed like very pleasant ideas for the star whale. Where might they be taking this poor captured creature? She peeked in the window again and studied the situation. They were certainly outnumbered, so trying to overpower them or try to make them release the star whale wasn't going to be an option. "Maybe if we wait til they leave.. but, that leaves a lot to chance.." She frowned. That plan would only work IF they all left after tying the creature down, and IF they didn't come back and catch them, and a lot of other IFs. "Think it'd work to disguise ourselves as one of the poachers? Or..do you think they'd know everyone that's in on it already?" She nibbled on her fingernail a little more as she tried to think of a good plan. "Where do you think they're planning on sending it?" She frowned. (Thanks, I appreciate the prayers very much ) | |

| ((So sorry for the wait, got a new job so things have been hectic haha. Hope all is well Charry ))
The Doctor arched his eyebrow, glancing around at his nearby surroundings, "This place doesn't look big enough for a transport ship.." he commented, "Which means they must be doing something with it here..hold on what's that?". In front of one the nearby hallways, leading out into a new loading bay to the right of them, lay a trail of green ooze, the slim like substance reflecting light off of the flicking overhead lights. The Doctor quickly approached the ooze, squatting down next to it and placing two fingers down into it, "Some sort of residue?.." he asked first sniffing it then taking a small lick. A harsh, sour taste burst onto The Doctors tongue causing him to fling the ooze off his fingers and protrude his tongue out in an attempt to rid himself of the taste, "Blagh! Blagh! Bad!" he groaned.
With a disgusted frown, The Doctor slowly stood up as he kept his eyes down on the ooze, "Definitely residue..organic by nature it seems. I wonder what's producing it though, it's not the whale i can tell you that" he deduced. Following the trail til the end of the hallway, The Doctor glared around the new loading bay in front of him before looking for signs of a continued trail, "I have a feeling we'll find some answers at the end of this trail of br-". The Doctor was stopped by the sudden sound of voices emitting from the other side of the loading bay, a mechanical hovering sound following with them. Moving against the wall, The Doctor extended his hand back to catch Charity so she wouldn't be seen as two figures entered the frame.
One old man was in a hovering chair, various gizmos and gadgets hooked up to him and across the controls in front of him, a muscular man following after him, "But Collector we don't have enough time to prepa-", "Make time!! I'm not going to make it much longer..we must move forward, none must stop this feat we are about to accomplish my friend" the old man hissed. The back of the old man's bald head the last thing The Doctor saw, as the two exit the loading bay and into the next where the whale was being kept. The trail noticeably following after the old man's chair as it followed him into the next room, "I think we found the snail whose leaving the slime wouldn't you say?" The Doctor joked, looking back over to Charity.

| ((No problem, congrats on the job, hope it goes well!))
Charity frowned in curiosity as she noticed the slime that the Doctor had noticed a moment ahead of her. What could that be? She tilted her head and approached curiously, but kept her distance. The Doctor inspected it, and she half expected him to do his scanner thing at it. But no, of course not. Why wouldn't he decide to touch the weird green slime that they don't know what is? Better yet, why not taste it?
Charity made a face of disgust when she saw him do this. "Ew. Really, Doctor? You have no idea what that stuff is, where it came from, or what made it.. and you stick it in your mouth?" She laughed at him, amused by his reaction to the taste of the foreign substance. "I'd expect something like that from my baby nephew..." She shook her head a little, further astonished by this guy's strangeness. "You know you have a thingy that can scan it and probably tell you what it is.." She reminded him, meaning the sonic screwdriver.
She walked along just behind him, glancing around as she walked. Where could they be heading? Some sort of strange laboratory? Or could it be someplace like the underground place where they'd gone with Ponce de Leon?
"Trail of what?" She started asking, before realizing there were people coming. She swiftly joined the Doctor in pressing her back against the wall, attempting to stay out of sight. She held her breath and tried to stay very quiet and unseen as she watched the two people. What was the deal with that trail of slime? That was really pretty gross. As she listened to their conversation and watched the guy in the strange hovering chair, she wondered if something was leaking something? Perhaps that was where the slime came from? It could be.. some sort of motor grease or antifreeze or some sort of thing that was leaking out of a tube or gadget or something that was hooked up to the guy and his chair. In fact, why was he in the chair? What was that about? Was he handicapped? Or was that just how he was? Perhaps it was normal to his species, or something.
After they were gone, she looked over and smiled at the Doctor. "So now we know what caused the trail of slime.. What do we do now? Follow them? Or check out where they came from? Or...maybe split up?" She suggested, but she wasn't totally sure she liked that idea, given that they were in a strange place and didn't know what sort of things there might be waiting in the depths of this place. But she wasn't afraid to go off exploring on her own if that's what the Doctor thought they should do.
