| The Doctor nodded, taking into account Charity's ideas, "Good plan" he replied, "I like you..Charity right? Tell you what, you send that message and i'll get some jackets for these people. I'm pretty good at keeping people entertained for a little bit". Grinning, The Doctor turned on his heel to begin his journey to one of the ships morgues before stopping suddenly and turning back around to Charity, "Oh! You might need this".
Reaching into his suit, The Doctor flipped out his sonic screwdriver and handed it to Charity, "The first setting here will amplify the transmission" he told her, showing the button with his finger, "The second setting will code the transmission, wait until the light starts to blink. Once it blinks, hold it there..it should help cover the transmission from being picked up by the ship". Illustrating the second setting as he spoke, The Doctor ended with a nod and handed over his trusty device.
"We don't have much time now. It'll only be a matter of time before they start to wonder why frosty over there hasn't checked in." The Doctor added, looking over to the still paralyzed Strab. Turning his attention back to Charity, The Doctor sniffed then moved back to the hallway behind him, "Allons-y" he added before bolting away. Keeping his eyes open, The Doctor kept his senses alert as he quickly tried to find a source of heat and, hopefully, a furnace.

| Charity grinned when the Doctor said he liked her. Most people did seem to like her pretty well, but most didn’t tell her that, so and it was nice to hear someone say it. She took the strange device that he handed her, and listened carefully to his instructions. She nodded a bit. “Alright, got it.” She smiled and took a moment to examine the device and wondered what it was exactly, then she watched Flannagan take off to do his job, and the Doctor went to help the prisoners. Charity set off to find the control room where she would find the equipment to make the distress call.
She stopped short at the end of a hall that ended in a cross way, hearing the sound of Strabs marching along toward her. They sounded slower than normal, which she guessed was due to the cold temperature in the ship, thanks to the Doctor. She hastily pressed her back to the wall and took out her blaster, hoping that maybe they wouldn’t see her, but as they started to pass her hallway, they turned and spotted her. As they were raising their weapons, she blasted them with ice from her weapon. After they were frozen in place, she slipped past them and continued on her way to the bridge where the communications equipment would be, which took her a while to locate. She hid against the side of the doorway as she approached and saw a couple of Strabs standing outside the door, guarding it she supposed. She didn’t know how many were going to be in the control room, so she was hoping for a small number. She tried to think. She wasn’t sure if Strabs kept to the typical military structure that she was accustomed to, but she imagined they would have a Commander, his second, a navigation officer and maybe a couple of underlings, a communications officer, and some guards. That would be an average of ten, give or take a few. She decided to estimate around fifteen, but she decided that it could be more than that even so she wouldn’t be surprised. The Strabs tended to be warlike, however, and from what she knew of them they often had a hard time getting along with each other, so maybe there would be even less than ten. Five or so would be a great number, and very easily manageable.
She took a deep breath to brace herself before stepping out of her hiding spot. The Strabs immediately noticed her, and she quickly blasted them as well, hoping to freeze them before they had a chance to notify anyone about her. After they were frozen to the spot, she moved past them and hesitated at the door. Taking a deep breath, she checked her head bandage briefly before slipping in through the door, into the bridge. Immediately, at least three Stabs turned to see who had come in. Charity raised her blaster quickly, and the battle began..

| His job was relatively simple, hop onto a wavelength and see whether they could attract the attention of another ship. If they could not, well, they were good as nothing. Flannagan gave a sigh as he scratched his head, thinking of all the possibilities. He was a smart man, or at least he thought he was. There was a lot at risk, Al knew that he was 'immune' to bullets to a certain extent and that he healed fast, a reason why he thought himself simply a superior human than those that lived in the 21st Century.
Did technology really improve by the time he was alive?
Flannagan kept up the pace, but it was unfortunate that he did not have eyes on the back of his head. Two Strabs from earlier had started to do another round and spotted the person, human, that did not look at all like them and began charging, their jaws agape and a homicidal grin overtook their features. But, in an instant, Flannagan pulled out both pistols, his fingers pumping away at the trigger before rolling to one side. It was enough to buy them time, but probably not enough to permenantly do any damage.
Perhaps it would have been best if they attempted to stick together. Flannagan fired another shot. It hit the Strab in the mouth, coming out the other side. He smirked before continuing to back off. There was a limited amount of ammo and a little way to go before finding the control...oh, there was an idea.
Flannagan stopped firing, hoping that it was enough to put his hands up. The Strabs were pretty angry and simply continued to snap at him.
"Take me to yer bloody leader!" He yelled, clutching his side in pain, blood pouring out of the wound. It would disappear in a couple of minutes, or hours. "I want te speak te 'im 'bout the terrible service yer providin' for yer guests!"
The reaction was slow but it worked. They stopped attacking him and roughly grabbed him, yanking him in a direction, which he hoped was their leader or anyone at the front of the ship.

| The Doctor ducked under cover as a Strab passed by, snarling as it looked around before continuing its patrol of the ship. Scanning the nearby rooms he could see, The Doctor started to plan out the best paths to get to each room without being spotted, taking into account the patrol patterns of each guard as they passed by. Seeing an opening, The Doctor bolted, moving out from his room and rushing into the nearby room, slipping in just before being spotted.
"Okay, what do we have here" The Doctor mumbled, being to shift through the nearby crates and baskets laying on the cold hard metal floor. With a sigh of defeat, The Doctor made his way out of the room, peering around the door frame and around the hallways for any nearby guards. Room after room The Doctor came up short for the jackets until finally hitting the jackpot on the last room before the bridge. The coats and jackets were hidden in a crate in the back of the room, each lined with fur of previously alive animals, "Well..everyone better like fur" The Doctor commented as he grabbed a handful and made his way out.
With each guard keeping to their obvious patrol patterns, The Doctor made it back to the prisoners in no time, each with a sigh of relief as each put one on. "Alright now stay low and hidden" The Doctor informed them, glancing back over his shoulder in case of a guard or one of his newly acquired friends, "Now we wait".

| Charity pressed a hand to her arm that got grazed during the battle, and stood still for a moment, catching her breath. Twelve Strabs were frozen in place, but she didn't know how long they would stay that way. She was lucky to have only gotten a graze on her arm, but her reflexes were quick and there were plenty of metal things in this room to hide behind when they started shooting at her. Luckily, the frigid air in the ship worked to her advantage, as they were slower because of it.
Now, she wasn't so much concerned about her arm but hurried to the control panel thing. Biting her nails a little, she studied the controls while trying to see if anything looked like the communication device. Did Strabs even use a comm device? After a moment she started poking a couple of buttons experimentally, and then she found what she was looking for. Grinning a little, she picked up the transmitter. After examining it for a moment, she found that it wasn't so different from the Destiny's comm system.
Recalling the Doctor's instructions, she took out the tool he had sent with her, she tried the first setting, which he said would amplify it. Hopefully he was right. Next she used the second setting to code the transmission from the ship. Once the light began blinking as he said it would, it was time for her to actually send the message. "Mayday, mayday. If anyone can hear me, this is Flight Officer Charity Elmstone of the ISS Destiny, aboard a Strabotunian ship which is has taken my entire crew prisoner. If anyone is hearing me, we need assistance as soon as possible. Coordinates are.." She looked for a screen and then was relieved to find it quickly. "349 by 455, please, we need a way off of this ship, ASAP. I repeat, mayday.." She repeated the message several times, pausing for thirty seconds in between each time in case anyone tried to reply. After recording the message and setting it to repeat itself every thirty seconds, she hesitated wondering if she should leave the Doctor's tool here or take it with her. She checked to see what would happen if she did take it away, and when she saw that the message remained coded and amplified, she grinned and took it with her as she hurried back out to the bridge to find the Doctor again.
Meanwhile, the Strabs had discovered that someone had tampered with their heating system. A patrol of them had gone to check it out, and with much squabbling between them, they began to work on fixing it, while others upped their patrols and began searching for the person who was loose and had tampered with their heater.

| The sound of marching footsteps echoed through the halls and rung through The Doctors ears, causing him to perk up and peer over his shoulder. Rising up from his crouching position, The Doctor walked slowly to the end of the room and cautiously glanced around the corner, only to immediately pull back as a Strab passed by. Taking a second to think, The Doctor rested back first against the wall, looking over at the prisoners who coward behind pipes and remained huddled together. They wouldn't last five minutes if they caught sight of them...they'd just pick them off one by one until they were all locked up or used for fuel. By now Charity should have sent that message..so we'll need just a little bit more time until more than likely the Judoon arrive.
Glancing once more over the edge of the doorway, The Doctor looked out, If i'm wrong and Charity didn't send that message i'll be dead...well...yeah..i'd be dead. Well, could be much worse i suppose.. Suddenly a strab turned the corner and caught sight of The Doctor; The Doctor froze. It was either run back and reveal the prisoners or run forward and go through with his plan; there was only one choice.
With a burst of energy, The Doctor roared past the Strab causing him to follow after him with a mighty roar and his weapon blazing. Lasers ricochet off of the walls and floor as the Strab furiously tried to take down The Doctor as he pursued him through the halls. Turning swiftly left, The Doctor entered into a wide central room a few feet from the bridge entrance filled with Strabs. Each one turned and glared at The Doctor causing a brief moment of silence before they all thrust forward after him. Turning left, The Doctor climbed quickly up five steps reaching the second floor before being met almost immediately by a Strab, "Wooo Woo! Hello! Sorry...i was umm..i was looking for the bathroom. Wrong turn?" The Doctor joked. The Strab, and all the others on the ground level hissed and glared, ready to fire their weapons, "Okay, okay! Hang on, hang on! Before you shoot and kill me i just have to say that you don't want to kill me!" he pleaded, "Because! I'm with the Shadow Proclamation and i can get you..rewards! Rewards for my safe return. Plus i'm clever so i could make it work". Come on..Come on...please work The Doctor thought as he knew he was running out of time, the Strabs grew closer, their patience wore thin but then suddenly lights shinned through each window of the ship, illuminated the entire interior. The Doctor released a sigh of relief, "That was close" he mumbled.

| Charity hurried along the corridor hoping that help would come quickly. Seeing a patrol of Strabs turn a corner up ahead, she swiftly stepped into the hallway which she had been about to pass by. She pressed her back against the wall and hoped they would pass her without detecting her, but unfortunately they smelled her blood. She knew her wounds would give her away before too long. The Strabs attacked immediately, having been alerted to the fact there was an intruder on board their ship and that they were to kill or capture this intruder if they found it. Fighting one enemy with more hands than you is hard enough, but having to fight nine of them with twice as many arms as her was not an easy thing to do, even with her altered blaster.
Charity was able to freeze a few of them before she was forced to run, dodging to avoid the shots from their weapons. She reached a door at the end of the hall and quickly closed it behind herself, dragging the big, heavy bolt across the door to slow them down. Then she kept running, trying to ignore her own injuries. She was glad that she had used the herb paste on her head wound, or it would have been soaked through with her blood, by now. As it was, she knew that her arm wound was bleeding pretty freely. Her sleeve felt wet and sticky, but she left it alone and kept running for her life.
The Strabs reached the bolted door and it delayed them for a short while, then they managed to break it down, or shoot it down, or something. Charity ran on, putting as much space between them and herself as she could. She didn't know where she was going but she kept moving, until at last she found herself in a very cold room. She rushed through the doorway of the room, surprised that it was so much colder here than in the rest of the ship since the Doctor had messed with the cooling system. Since there wasn't a bolt on this door, she dragged a heavy table thing in front of it instead. Then she turned and saw the reason why this room was so cold. She was standing in the morgue room that she'd known must be there in the ship somewhere. She stood there for a moment, breathing hard, then had an idea.
Acting quickly, she went to the other door across the room, and glanced around and at the other side of it, and to her surprise she noticed that this one also didn't have a bolt to pull over it. That worked well for her plan, however. She ran a little ways down the hall before doubling back, closed the door and then going a place to hide.
When the Strabs chasing her finally caught up to her, they assumed she had run straight through this room and kept running. They didn't notice until they were much further away that her scent trail had ended a while back, and by that time they weren't even sure when exactly her scent trail had ended.
After the Strabs left the room, Charity waited for a while before emerging from her hiding place. She paused to look around the room, and with great sadness saw that on the table under which she had hidden lay the captain of the ISS Destiny. She bowed her head slightly in grief. "Captain Clearwater.." She whispered sadly, recalling that the man had a young daughter. She sighed and inwardly vowed that all of these bodies would be returned home to receive proper burials.
After doing a quick count of who was dead here in the morgue, Charity had gathered a good idea of who else was left alive. She was glad not to see the young man who had come to the Destiny fresh out of training. That must mean that he was still alive, and that was good news. She remembered him mentioning having a little sister at home whom he was supporting, as the Strabs had raided their town and killed their parents years ago.
Charity still felt much grief for her fallen comrades and crew members, as she went to the door to leave and find the Doctor. Except that when she got to the door, she found that it wouldn't open. She blinked in surprise at this, and pushed again. But it didn't move.
Her eyes widening, Charity tried the door a few more times thinking maybe it was just stuck, but no. It was sealed shut. She went over to the other door and tried it, but it didn't open either. She returned to the other one and tried it again just in case, but it still wouldn't open. She paused and thought over this for a moment, thinking out what might have happened. The door was open slightly when she first came in here. Then she closed it, and the Strabs ran through. Now it wouldn't open. Maybe they locked it? But there was no bolt on the other side, so how? Unless.. Maybe it was encrypted to their DNA somehow? But that didn't make sense. They were a primitive sort of race, and didn't think of things in a very complicated manner. But.. Then how did they get their ships? Slaves, it must be. Maybe the slaves who built their ship had made it somehow so that the doors could be sealed, and would only open to someone who knew how to get it open. So was there a code? A place to put your hand print, maybe? She searched high and low, but found nothing.
After thoroughly investigating that door, Charity went to the door on the other side of the room, hoping to find something on it that the other was lacking. But alas, she found the same results with that door, and knew that she wouldn't be able to get either door to open. Looking around herself, Charity realized with a nervous feeling that she was trapped.. Trapped inside the Strabs' morgue...

| It seemed like forever in between The Doctors speech and the eventual knocking down of a nearby door by the Shadow Proclamation. Time seemed to slow down as The Doctor gazed out at the Strabs who shuddered in fear from the penetrating light. The reaction time for the Shadow Proclamation definitely got slower...are they getting too old? Well...i suppose i was almost turned into beef jerky...am i getting old? The Doctor smirked at the thought of becoming too old, his mind beginning to trail off until the nearby hull door exploded open. BAAMM!!
The Doctor covered his eyes and took a step back as the door flew open and the Shadow Proclamation guards sauntered in, taking positions and moving out of the way for their captain to enter. A white haired, red eyed woman slowly entered the scene, her eyes jetting across the room until landing on The Doctor and locking her sights on him, "Lock these monsters up. And free any prisoners they haven't eaten yet" she hissed to her grunts. The Doctor nonchalantly placed his hands into his pockets, waving at her before tucking his right hand away, "Hello! Nice to see you too" he said happily, "Don't start that with me Doctor! You left us during our moment of need...then you have the audacity to call to us for help when you need it?!" she quickly replied.
"Oh come on! You lot had it under control! Besides...i can't exactly arrest them for their crimes..don't have jurisdiction" The Doctor sarcastically replied, "Oh please! Like you care about jurisdictions" she said with a chuckle, "None the less..we appreciate the call. We've been tracking them for quite some time. But you owe us Doctor!". The woman thrust her index finger towards The Doctor before turning and walking down the metal steps to access her grunts work. The Doctor sniffed as he watched her walk away, his mind beginning to wonder off again before he suddenly remembered something, "Charity!" he exclaimed. Turning on his heel, The Doctor bolted across the ramp and down the stairs, heading for the first hallway he could find, "Charity!" he called, "It's over! We did it!....Charity?".

| Charity has no idea about what was happening outside of the morgue, but she knew that she had to get out of here as soon as possible because it was very cold in here. Shivering a little, she studied both doors and tried to figure out some way of getting it open. But to her dismay, she came to the conclusion that both doors were apparently locked and, it would seem that they would not open from this side of the door. Which of course, would also mean bad news for Charity.
She wrapped her arms around her middle and hopped in place as she tried to think of what she could do. She really didn't want to join the others in this room. Looking around for some sort of inspiration, she saw that the ceiling was riveted metal panels. No chances of lifting a ceiling tile and crawling through the air vent, then. Her breath showed white in the cold air, but she noticed it wasn't as clearly visible as when she first came in here. She tried not to think about that her body temperature was dropping, and instead focused on trying to figure out a way out of here.
Pacing around rapidly as she thought over ideas, she suddenly found that she was idly tossing something from one hand to the other. She looked down at her cold hands and saw that it was the tool that the Doctor had sent with her. She stared at it, thinking fast. Whatever this thing is, it was capable of amplifying a radio transmission, and also of coding the message so that the wrong ears didn't hear it. So what else might it be capable of? She continued her pacing, to keep active and warm, while she checked the device over for something that might help her know how to use it. Surely, it wasn't only for those two uses. Why would the guy carry it around just in case he needed to amplify and encode a radio transmission? No, it had to have other uses. But how did one access those functions?
She messed around with the button a little, noticing that the buzzing noise changed in pitch slightly every few times she changed a setting. Maybe she ought to be trying it on the door lock? She stopped in front of one of the doors and, hopping a little in place to keep warm, she pointed the device at the door while she went through various settings, and hoped that something would eventually work. It seemed like there must be something that would work..it had to. "Come on..please open...please.." She mumbled as she held onto the hope that somewhere in the settings of this unusual device, there would be one that would get that door open.
After what felt like forever, she heard a noise from the door, like a lock turning, and a small light that had previously been red, changed to green. Overjoyed that it was now unlocked, she tugged on the door but found that it seemed stuck. What? Why was it not moving? It was unlocked, right? She stopped and studied the door frame, and found that it was sort of frosty looking, especially around the edges of the door.
The door had some frost on it, which melted when it was open for a bit, and when it closed and was left closed for a length of time, the dampness on the metal door had frozen, and now the door was frozen shut. She stared at the frost for a moment, trying to understand what happened, because the cold plus the concussion from earlier made it just a little hard to understand, but after a moment she turned and went to try the other door..

| The Doctor stopped, glancing back and forth down the corridors hoping for any signs of Charity but to no avail. The Doctor sighed, placing his hand at the back of his head, "She's gotta be around here somewhere.." he mumbled, "Come on, come on think! If i was Charity where would i be? Where would i hide?". Pondering for a moment, The Doctor came up short; mainly due to the lack of knowledge about the ships interior and exactly what was stored in each room, having never faced the foes before this encounter. His thinking was cut off short by a Judoon, bumping him out of the way as he stormed by, "Oi!" The Doctor cried, "Mofo Koorrroo Moottoo...Maho" he added, catching the Judoon's attention. Hoping the Judoon had a scanner on his person, The Doctor could scan the ship for human life signs and find Charity that way.
The Judoon paused for a moment before handing The Doctor his pink colored scanner from his utility belt, "Koto Bunodamo Caro" the Judoon proclaimed; The Doctor smirked as he looked down at the device, "Don't worry i won't break it...well...intentionally maybe". Lifting the device up, The Doctor spun around on his heel as he keenly watched the screen until a noise erupted from it. "Gotcha!!" The Doctor proclaimed, thrusting into a sprint after the life signal; the Judoon following close behind to make sure his equipment wasn't damaged in any way. Making two left turns and a right, The Doctor finally stopped at a door, "Some sort of refrigeration unit" he mumbled as he approached the door, peering through the small frosted window of the metal door.
Suddenly a form passed by the window, "Charity!!" The Doctor exclaimed as he locked his focus on her as she turned away from the door and began to walk to the other side of the room, "Don't worry i'll get you out!". Tossing the scanner back to the Judoon behind him, The Doctor placed both hands on the handle and gave it his all, which wasn't much and didn't even budge the door. The Judoon juggled the scanner before getting a hold on it with a grunt before scanning The Doctor as he mumbled, "Door is frozen shut...", "Assimilating...Earth English. Do you require help?". The Doctor rolled his eyes, "I highly doubt you could get the door open...plus i don't have my sonic" he replied. The Judoon thought for a second before upholstering his blaster and shooting the frame of the door until the ice began to melt, "Now try" he chuckled, placing his scanner and blaster away. The Doctor approached the door once more and tugged on the handle three times before it finally came loose, sending The Doctor back into the Judoon, "Well...wouldn't be the first time i was wrong" he mumbled, "We know" the Judoon snarled.

| Charity was fumbling with the device to try and use it to unlock the other door, hoping that it would work since the other one was stuck. But her fingers were numb and she was having a hard time. Then she heard another sound and turned around to see what it was. Was that the door opening? Maybe she was wrong about it having been stuck? Or was it the Strabs coming? Who was opening the door? The Doctor maybe? But if she couldn't get the door open, how would he be able to? Sure, she's female and probably not as strong as a man, but she was a pretty strong girl and if all her strength couldn't make the door budge, she doubted that the skinny Doctor would be very much more capable than her. How strong could he be?
She thought quickly and then realized that if it was the Strabs, she needed to hide. She wanted to know who was opening the door before she was seen, so she hurried over to the wall beside the door and waited to see who would come in there. She didn't like having to stop pacing and moving around because it meant she would start to lose warmth, but she had to be sure that it was safe. Then she saw the Doctor, and couldn't believe how relieved she was to see him. "D-Doctor!" She hurried out of the freezing room, shivering a little. "I'm s-so g-glad to s-see you..." She hopped up and down a bit to try and warm up, with her arms wrapped around herself.
One hand still gripped the sonic screwdriver, which had a thin layer of frost covering the metal part. After she remembered that she still it, she held it out to him so that he could take it back. "S-sent the m-m-message..." She gave a faint smile but was too cold to try and talk any more. She glanced curiously at the alien with the Doctor, having no idea what type of alien it was but it was definitely not a Strab so she wasn't afraid or anything, just curious.

| The Doctor grinned at the sight of Charity, enveloping her in a hug once she had stopped speaking; taking the sonic screwdriver and tucking it in his jacket before taking it off and covering his shivering friend with it. The Judoon turned and began to walk back to the main lobby of the ship, only stopping when The Doctor called out to him, "Hey! Sorry..umm..but could we catch a ride? Sort of left my ship back on Ghlata Flo Kor" he asked, "Due to your help in capturing these fugitives, transportation will be provided. Come" the Judoon replied. Turning back to Charity, The Doctor smiled, "See, look at that! At least i know they don't hate me too much....try not to stare, if they catch you they'll become cross" he warned Charity, leaning in to whisper in her ear as he walked after the Judoon.
Entering into the main lobby of the ship, the white haired woman walked across in front of them accompanied by a younger dark haired man carrying a long cylinder device, "Please let me try" he pleaded, "I promise it'll work with them. Then it'll be a breeze to transport them". Trying to persuade the Shadow Proclamation officer into agreeing to something, the man began to sweat profusely and immediately caught The Doctors attention as they walked by them. The Doctor's eyes landed on the device he carried, I've seen that before.. he thought to himself, "I don't think you should do that" he suddenly exclaimed. The white haired woman immediately turned to The Doctor and a glare was flashed by the young man, "What do you mean?" she asked, "Well..." The Doctor started, "Just..bad side effects is all. I'd just...keep an eye on them" he sniffed.
The woman chuckled, "Your input is appreciated Doctor but this honestly is of no concern to you. Umm..Corporal! Please see to it that these two are immediately taken back to Ghlata Flo Kor. The sooner the better" she hissed, "Yes" the Judoon replied before nudging The Doctor forward. The young man however kept a lock on The Doctor and Charity, his eyes following them as they walked away and entered the Proclamation ship, only stopping his glare once they were out of sight where he then continued to speak with the commander. "An automated pilot ship will take you home" The Judoon ordered, pointing over to a nearby hatch to the left hand side, "Once your there it will leave. Good day" he finished before storming off.

| Charity smiled at the hug from the Doctor and was surprised but glad for the coat that he loaned her. She pulled it close around herself and listened as he asked the strange aliens about transportation. So that was the name of the planet her ship had crashed on. She had vaguely wondered about that. As she hurried along with the Doctor she began to get a little bit warmer, giving a slight nod in reply to him saying not to stare at the unknown aliens. "Who are they?" She whispered back to him curiously. "I've n-never seen any of them b-before."
She was considering some other questions when the white haired woman walked up. For a second she thought that it was the Astronian Emperess, because of the white hair and red eyes and pale skin, and she froze as she eyes widened slightly. But then she realized it this woman was not Neterian like the Emperess, and she relaxed again, but wondered who this woman might be. Deciding it best not to interrupt, she listened quietly while the Doctor spoke with her. She couldn't help frowning a bit as she wondered what the thing was that the Doctor had said they shouldn't use on the Strabs.
Still vaguely shivering, Charity frowned as she got the jist of the conversation, despite not knowing what the device was or what it would do. Upon hearing the white haired woman say it was no concern to them she couldn't help but speak up. "It's of concern to me.." She started saying, but they were already being led away by the Judoon Corperal. She frowned and glanced back as she followed the Judoon and the Doctor. Seeing the man staring after them, she wondered even more about what that device was for.
Once the Judoon guy had left them, she looked at the Doctor. "What was that thing? The Strabs might be terrors of the galaxy and enemies of the empire but they're still a part of of my galaxy... and..I don't know, if that device is going to do something bad to them...Well, they probably deserve it but as an officer of the Imperial Galactic Forces of the Astronian empire, I'm wondering if I should do anything about it?" She frowned, a bit confused about this matter. All she could think of to do would be contact someone higher ranking and ask them what to do but there may not be any time for that so then she might have to do something. But then again, they were the enemy, merciless Strabotunians that would kill and enslave any other races that they might capture. Normally Charity would look for the good in everyone. But after trying her entire life, she had yet to find anything good in or about the Strabs. That didn't mean she had stopped trying, however...
But there were other things to ask about as well. She thought again about her crewmates. "Also.. they're sending us back to the planet where the Destiny is crashed.. but where are they sending the others? All the survivors, and..the ones who didn't survive?" She was determined that she was not leaving this ship until she was sure that there were satisfactory arrangements made for those who had been captured by the Strabs, both living and dead. "Captain Clearwater had a daughter, she deserves to have a proper funeral for her dad. And there were many others who didn't survive, who had families..." She had many more questions as well, now that she was warmer and able to speak better, but waited on asking them for now.

| The Doctor glanced around as Charity spoke to him, keeping a careful eye on his nearby surroundings in case that man would reappear or anything caught his interest. "I don't know" He mumbled a reply to Charity, "The Shadow Proclamation is always different with the prisoners they find. Some are interviewed and probed for more information. Some hired on as scouts..eyes and ears for them across the universe. Haven't really been able to stay long to see the process afterwards to be honest...always been told to leave before i got locked up" he chuckled. The Doctor stopped as the white haired woman slowly entered the Proclamation ship, halting her progress as her eyes locked onto The Doctor.
"Is there something else we can assist you with Doctor?" The woman asked, obviously annoyed, "Well.." The Doctor started, placing both his hands nonchalantly into his pockets, "I just thought..you know...all those responsibilities you have, it'd be really going out of your way to screen all those prisoners. My friend here works for Imperial Galactic Forces of the Astronian empire; her and i could take care of all them in a few hours time. Call it a thank you for the help". A moment of silence passed between them, the woman eyeing The Doctor with curiosity and glancing over at Charity before finally agreeing, "Fine. We'd appreciate that. But i must say, it's quite a handful of the-", "I've got plenty of time to do it..and space to fit them in my ship so no worries!".
The woman rolled her eyes before walking away and ordering a nearby Judoon to round up the prisoners and hand them over to The Doctor and Charity. The Judoon replied with a grunt before marching out of the ship and out of sight as The Doctor turned to Charity and pulled his sonic screwdriver out of his coat. Holding the screwdriver next to his ear, The Doctor adjusted the settings, "If i can just get the right signal i can-" with a buzz, the sonic screwdriver lit up and almost spontaneously the TARDIS began to materialize a few feet behind Charity. The TARDIS' engines roaring as its light flashed one last time before landing, "There she is! Sorry..didn't want to make these people wait since i'm giving them a lift home. Besides..much easier" The Doctor commented as he tucked his screwdriver back into his coat Charity was wearing before turning to the prisoners as they started to come in. The Doctor smiled at them and gave them each a pat on the shoulder and a hug to the few children, "I'm going to be your captain on the ride home for today. Trust me i'm not that bad of a driver..well...most of the time" he told them.

| Charity was about to reply to what the Doctor said but then the woman came back. As the Doctor spoke to her she stood straight and tried to look more important than she actually is, so that maybe it would appear as if she was higher ranked or something. Truth is, she happened to be among the lowest ranking people of the Destiny's crew, but she wasn't going to let on about that. "That includes any deceased prisoners, which you will find in the morgue of the ship." She mentioned as the woman was about to walk away. She had made a promise, mostly to herself but also to the dead, that she would make sure they were all brought home for their proper burials.
Once she had walked away, Charity turned to the Doctor. "Thank you, Doctor." She smiled a bit, genuinely grateful to him for helping her. She watched curiously as he used that sonic device to try and find a signal. "What are you..." She was about to ask, when suddenly a large box, blue in color and saying something about police on it, appeared near them. She stared in amazement and wondered what this could be. It must be some sort of shuttle that would take them to the Doctor's ship. But it seemed awfully small. She thought it looked like only a couple of people could fit inside at a time. It would have to make multiple trips to carry all of these people to the ship... wherever that was. Maybe he had other shuttles that he could use? She looked at him questioningly.
Before she had a chance to ask any questions, a group of people began to approach. Charity put on a smile and helped him welcome the rescued prisoners, and was glad to see some familiar faces; people that were part of the Destiny's crew. One of her fellow crewmates ran up to her. "Elmstone, what's going on? Who are those guys?" The red-haired young man pointed to the nearby Judoon. She thought fast to recall what the Doctor had called them. "Don't worry Scott, they're called Judoon and they're..helping, I think. This is the Doctor, he's a friend. He's the reason you're all rescued. You can trust him." "How are we going to get home? The Destiny is totaled." He asked, looking troubled. She patiently continued to explain, "The Doctor is going to give us a ride home in his ship. I think..this is a sort of small shuttle that will take us to it?" She glanced at the Doctor so he could say whether she was right or not on that. "Anyway, just do what he says and we'll all get home soon." She assured him. "Maybe you could help us direct people to where they should go?" She suggested. She looked at the Doctor so he could tell them what they should do.

| The Doctor smiled and nodded as Charity thanked him for helping her and the now rescued prisoners. He watched as the prisoners started shifting towards the TARDIS, their curiosity spiking when they noticed how small the TARDIS was compared to how many of them were needing a ride home. The Doctor began to chuckle but stopped himself as Charity began to address him, "Oh..don't worry. I think you'll find there's plenty of space" he replied with a grin. Jolting over to the TARDIS, The Doctor leaned up against the side, "Can i have everyone's attention!" he started, "Alright then. Good..umm drinks and food are on the third floor, you can find new clothes on the second. I only have one rule when it comes to my TARDIS..well..several but lets focus on one for right now. Don't wonder off. Stick to the second and third floors".
Sniffing, The Doctor paused as he looked around at the faces of the prisoners and Charity; many were confused, others were too tired to seemingly care. "Alright. Let's get you home, Allons-y" He proclaimed snapping his fingers; both doors flew open and greeted the new comers with a humming sound from the engines, "One at a time please. Sorry the frame isn't quite big enough for two at once". The Doctors eyes danced over each prisoner as they marched in, their eyes shinning with astonishment as they entered his time machine.
However the moment was halted by a sudden thought that pierced through The Doctors mind, That man with the machine.... he thought. To not alarm the still boarding prisoners The Doctor slowly slipped out a small circle device from his pocket and dropped it on the ground. The blue diode atop the device flashed as it fastened on the metal ground of the proclamation ship. The last of the prisoners began to enter the TARDIS as The Doctor turned his sights to Charity, nudging his head towards the entrance of his ship, "Sorry but i'll need the coordinates to the planet we're dropping them off. If that's alright, shouldn't take but a few minutes to get there..give or take".

| Charity watched in puzzlement as the people began filing into the small ship. How... but... how? She stared in surprise as more and more people were able to fit inside. He was saying something about second and third floors. How could it be so large? She touched her forehead lightly, wondering if her head was playing tricks on her. She was aware that she had a concussion, after all. But surely her eyes couldn't be deceiving her that much. She watched the rescued people all go inside of the strange ship and wondered how in the universe they were able to all fit inside that strange little box.
While the others were filing in, some not even questioning the oddness of it while others looked around in awe, Charity curiously walked all around the box. She saw no tricks, or secret doors or windows. It was just a box. But that didn't seem possible. Her gray eyes wide with wonder, she came back around and looked at the Doctor. "How can they all fit inside?" She asked quietly, astonished and in awe by it. She looked back at the people that were entering it and then back at the Doctor. She was just in time to see him drop something to the floor, apparently on purpose. She gave him a questioning look and started to ask what that was about, but then decided that maybe she ought to wait until later to ask that.
As Charity watched the last people enter the ship, she was about to join them when the Doctor motioned to her. "Oh, yeah, sure." She nodded. "The coordinates are 646 by 464. Or, if it's any easier, it'll be the spaceport in Falence, Astronia. But it might take a bit longer than a few minutes..." She added since she knew how long it would take the Destiny.
Then, she thought about something else and hesitated, frowning slightly. "Oh... Doctor? Is there any way we can check on another ship? The Destiny, the ship that was wrecked, we were escorting a merchant ship to deliver a shipment of supplies to Aquoshillon... I'd like to make sure that it got there. I think that they got away when the Strabs shot our ship down, but.. well, it can't hurt to check up on it, you know?"
As she spoke, she stepped into the ship and then looked around the inside of it, a bit amazed by how enormous it seemed inside. She couldn't even think of any explanation for how this was possible. A ship that was bigger inside than out? How was that not impossible? She let her gaze move all around the inside of the room and then finally looked back at the Doctor in wonder. "This ship is incredible..."

| The Doctor took mental note of the coordinates given to him by Charity, nodding and following her in as she entered the TARDIS. Looking around, The Doctor couldn't help but smile seeing the prisoners marvel at the interior of his ship and the comment made by Charity only added to his happiness. It reminded him of better times, the TARDIS filled with friends all at once helping save the Earth and even when he had someone traveling with him; seeing them see things for the first time made him feel what it was like. As Charity continued to speak, it snapped The Doctor out of his gaze "Aquoshillon! Yes!" he proclaimed, bolting across to the console and yanking over the scanner.
Glancing over to the still open doors The Doctor snapped his fingers, closing them immediately before turning his attention back to the screen. "Aquoshillon...Aquo- ah! There it is! Alright everyone, hang on to something!" The Doctor exclaimed, looking around to the nearby prisoners before placing his hand on the main lever and yanking it down. The TARDIS suddenly began to thrust back and forth, jerking all passengers with it until coming to a complete stop with a jolt. "Here we are!" The Doctor said joyfully, skipping down the ramp and over to the doors where he thrust both of them open. In front of him hovered the planet of Aquoshillon, slowly turning in its usual rotation, "I remember when this planet was formed..watched it eating popcorn for my seven hundred and first birth day i think it was" he mumbled.
Bursting onto the scene, the merchant ship came into view as it slowly embarked on its decent into the planet below, "There it is! Right on time!" The Doctor grinned before his attention was shifted away as something dropped behind him, "Oi! Don't touch that!" he pleaded, turning around and jumping down to take a device from a small girl, "That's my timey wimey detector. Besides going ding when there's stuff it could also fry if you're not careful. So here..have this instead". Reaching into his jacket, The Doctor flipped out a banana and handed it to the little girl, "It's a banana..a food back on Earth. Trust me, banana's are good." he smiled as the girl cautiously took it, standing back up as he patted her on the head.

| Charity gasped a little and grabbed onto some nearby railing to keep from falling down. Then, as the jerking and jolting finally stopped, she looked around to see what had just happened. She had only intended for them to use a radio or something to contact the other ship, to check on them. But to her further astonishment, he said that they had arrived at Aquoshillon in seconds. She was alarmed as she saw him about to open the doors, but before she could call out a warning about the lack of air in space and everything, it was too late. She stared in puzzlement, however, when nothing happened. Slowly, confused, she ventured toward the doors and looked out, wondering how it was possible to have the doors open without the vacuum of space sucking all the air out of the ship, and everyone dying.
Charity stood quietly, trying to wrap her head around all this, when she noticed something the Doctor had said. Seven hundred and first birthday? Watching the planet form? She blinked and looked at him silently as she thought over the implications of that statement. One, he was obviously much older than he appeared, unless he was lying but that seemed a bit unlikely. And two, it implied that he could go to different points in time, because she knew that Aquoshillon had been around much, much longer than 700 years. Actually, on second thought, she realized that statement only meant that he had reached the age of 700 at one time... who knows how old he might be now? The thought that this guy could be so ancient was a bit staggering, and she shook her head a bit to clear her thoughts.
Her gaze wandered around the interior of the ship she was standing in. It should be impossible. A vast, enormous interior with a tiny exterior. Traveling across a great distance of space in seconds. Being able to open the doors in the middle of space without any barrier between them and space...without dying.
She looked back at the planet before them, and smiled a bit to see the planet, covered only in water. She counted a few moons in the distant sky but she couldn't remember what they were called. She'd never been to this planet but she'd read about it in her school lessons, and learned about it some during her training. "It's beautiful.." She said softly.
Then at the slight commotion, she turned and watched the interaction with the Doctor and the little girl. That reminded her of something which made her sad. She frowned and looked back at the planet, remembering that Captain Clearwater, who had died, had left a little girl behind, and that she lived on this planet. "Doctor, some of the people probably could get off here." She commented, before turning to the group of people. "How many of you lives on Aquoshillon, or would like to get off here instead of Astronia?" She asked, resulting in several raised hands.

| The Doctor nodded, looking around the control room to the raised hands as he stood up from interacting with the little girl. Noting how many wanted to be dropped off at the planet below, The Doctor sauntered over to the doors and shut them before promptly dashing down to the controls. "To the space port it is!" The Doctor proclaimed, yanking down the lever for a very quick landing on the surface below after the usual three groans from the TARDIS and a thud to confirm the landing.
Placing his hands nonchalantly into his pockets, The Doctor leaned up against the control console as he watched a few of the former prisoners make their way to the doors. Some wore faces of relief, others of shock from the recent events but a sigh of assurance came over The Doctor as he watched them depart one by one, some thanking him on their way out others too excited at the prospect of being free again to make a remark. However, The Doctors mind fell back to the Shadow Proclamation ship he dropped a probe in; thoughts of the machine he saw with that man flashed in his mind, i swear i've seen something like that before he thought, But i can't put my finger on it...something about that look he had.
The Doctors thought process was snapped by a silence filling the room after the last of the Aquoshillon departures had left; his eyes dancing over the remaining people scattered around the control room and finally over to Charity before he turned back to the controls. "Alright! That leaves one last stop" He said aloud as he pulled the scanner over to him and began to input the coordinates, activating the helmet regulator and turning a few bells and nobs in the process.

| Charity was prepared for the ship's landing this time, bracing herself against the railing. Then she helped the people as they exited, and made sure that everyone who belonged on Aquoshillon got off there. She spoke briefly to a Forces officer to let them know who these people were and briefly summed up what happened, then she re-entered the Doctor's ship and closed the doors carefully after her.
Remembering that she was still wearing the Doctor's coat, she slipped it off from around her shoulders and folded it neatly. Glancing around for a place to put it, she didn't see anywhere so she gently draped it over the nearest chair. Glancing toward the remaining people, she was glad to see that some of her fellow Forces officers were helping the people, keeping them calm and it appeared as if they were organizing them into groups. That should make it easier for when they were ready to exit the ship, because they were organized.
Hesitating briefly, she ventured a bit closer to the control console in the center of the room where the Doctor was working, and tried to see what he was doing. Of course, it didn't mean much to her since she didn't know how to fly a ship anyway. She remembered the panicked moments when she had to try and pilot the Destiny as it was being attacked. "How long before we get to Astronia?" She wondered if it would be as quick as the trip to Aquoshillon. She remembered that she had a lot of other questions. "And those Judoon people, who are they? And the woman with white hair?" Now that the shock had passed, of all the impossible things being possible in this unusual ship, her curiosity had returned in full force and she wanted to get some answers.

| The Doctor relaxed, standing up straight and placing his hands nonchalantly into his pockets, "Few minutes give or take..depends on how she is feeling" he replied, smirking slightly as he looked up to the column in the center of the console. "They're called the Shadow Proclamation" The Doctor continued with a sniff as he glanced back over to Charity, "Sort of intergalactic police...the Judoon act on behalf of the Proclamation..well..sometimes. The women you see with them run the organization, the chatty one being called the Shadow Architect. Although i've always sort of done my own thing..i don't really mind them unless we bump into each other or i really need them.".
The conversation sparked a memory in The Doctors mind; acting immediately he began typing on the keyboard in front of him and twisted a nearby switch, "Come on, come on..." he mumbled. Intently watching the screen, The Doctor waited until the signal finally broke through with a dinging sound as it displayed a layout of the Proclamation ship. Number ran down the side of the screen as data came streaming in, "Now i'm monitoring their energy readouts. Can't exactly make out what specifically it is but something on that ship is taking up immense amounts of energy. More than normal and i think i know what it is".
The TARDIS continued to emit its usual hums and groans as it continued to travel through space towards their destination, the screen continuously displaying incoming data. Keeping his eyes fixed on the screen, The Doctor adjusted the screen once more using the nearby switch causing the screen to now display a red blinking light inside one of the rooms on the schematic. Placing his finger on the screen, The Doctor mumbled, "There...most of the energy readings are coming from that one room. Big room too...something that needs a lot of space...and a lot of energy..". The Doctor began to trail off, his mind wondering and formulating thoughts until a thrust indicated a successful landing, snapping The Doctor out of his gaze. "Astronia!" He exclaimed, looking over at the remaining survivors and grinning, "No place like it, go on" he added, gesturing with his head to the doors.

| Charity listened curiously to the Doctor's explanation, and thought that the Shadow Proclamation sounded similar to the Imperial Galactic Forces, only they seemed to have a much larger jurisdiction because the IGF only operated within the Lyrae Cloud Galaxy and those planets which were included in the Empire. As she thought about those things, the ship landed. She was again amazed by how fast that journey had been. It took much longer than that for the Destiny to leave Astronia and to to meet the merchant ship on Luvecem, and that was only one trip. This ship had gone from some unknown planet to Aquoshillon to Astronia in a matter of a few minutes.
She covered her amazement by beginning to help the people line up to exit the ship, trying to keep them calm and orderly to make things go more smoothly. She turned and smiled at the Doctor. "Thank you for everything, Doctor." She told him sincerely, knowing they would have probably all died if not for him, and even if they had survived, they would have probably been stuck on the Strab's planet as slaves. Not only had he done most of the rescuing, but he'd given them a ride home too.
The doors of the ship opened to a beautiful purple sky, near the border of a lake surrounded by pink-flowering trees. From this planet, the two suns appeared to be one, and shined brightly in the sky. There was a lovely, tree-lined dirt road not far off from where the ship was parked. It was a road which she recognized easily. As everyone left the Doctor's ship, Charity stepped out with them and smiled, admiring the scenery and breathing in the fragrant air. Looking out at the lake, one could see the Emperor's palace in the distance, hovering curiously above the lake. "We're about half a mile from Falence, that way." She told the group, rather pleased at the location where they had landed. It wasn't a very long walk, but wasn't right in the large city, either. Most of the people, eager to get to town, set off immediately in the direction she had pointed.
Charity glanced around at the lake and the trees, and then she briefly looked down the road in the other direction, where her home and family was, just about five miles away. Then she turned back to look at the Doctor. He had been talking about something that sounded interesting, to say the least. Perhaps something that needed to be looked into. Her curiosity was definitely aroused, and she wanted to know more. "So, this thing that's taking up so much energy.. what do you think it might be?" She tilted her head curiously, wondering if there might be any way he'd let her come along and help investigate this thing...
